When you're drafted to Syntech, you'll be sent here.
This is a military-themed meeting room. Beds are everywhere, and a throne is at the head of the room with desks nearby. The leader is Lucifer
Lucifer: You will make your two draft picks official here by looking at the people who have signed up so far via computer files. Once your choice is made, I will bring them to your barracks.

The mercenary walked into the barracks, paying very little attention to anyone around. He had been placed into the Syntech Army. A most fitting army for one as himself from the description given to him, Evil. The assassin headed straight forward, moving past the beds. He had been informed that everything he needed would be given to him by the one named Lucifer, his Commander.
It was quite evident that the man sitting upon the high high chair was the man that Retane needed to see from a quick observation of the area. The rogue passed the stone table with the map there upon it as he moved to his destination. Lucifer didn't have the look of a man that would be physically involved in a war, but more so as a man that would sit back and watch those under him do his bidding. Retane didn't see a problem with that at all.
"I am Retane, Mercenary of Mercy", came the calm words of the namek as he introduced himself to his Commander. The mercenary looked sraight into the eyes of his newly issued boss as he continued, "I beleive I can be a great asset to the army and stand ready to do what is needed to survive to the end and see that the Syntech Army succeeds in winning."
The demonic human issued a nod to the warrior and motioned for him to move along till he was ready. The namek took his leave and moved to a bed close to the map in the center of the room. He paused to glance the map over a bit, then took his place upon the bed, and laid there, closing his eyes to block out the light, and thought of what he might have to face in the upcoming days.

A once unoccupied Teletube was suddenly, magically, occupied by a golden haired woman who instantly was pressed forward against the clear door from the momentum of her teleportation. Feeling her stomach rise to her throat she clung to the door, her dizziness preventing her from responding to the noise that was altering her to the opening of the door. Much to her embarrassment the door suddenly opened for her, and her hands slipped across the smooth surface of the tube with nothing to grip on. The dizziness effecting her balance she fell towards the floor and caught herself with her hands; the procedure of which saved her from a nasty head injury.
Laying in a push up position for several moments she began to shiver, feeling the coldness of the stone floors in her palms. Pushing herself into a crouching position she stood up slowly, wobbling slightly as the feeling of releasing her bile receded. Rubbing her hands together for several moments she preceded to take her black gloves out of her pocket and put them on her hands, sighing in relief from the warmth that was trapped from her body heat.
She looked around quietly, looking at the stone walls and bare flooring with slight disdain. Eyeing the computers around the Teletubes however Akane quickly found herself entertained, watching the bleeping lights of thousands of colors. With much effort she was able to draw herself away from them, after several slaps to her face. The last thing she wanted to do was break something or cause some kind of explosion that destroyed the entire building.
Having found a door when she was looking around the room before she now walked over to it, opening it quickly with the complicated control panel next to it. Stepping through the entrance slowly she eyed the hallway that she was entering, sighing to the fact that once more it was cold, hard, stone. Hearing a bleeping noise from the doorway she lunged forward with her hands on her buttocks for protection, the door slamming closed quickly. Turning back to the door the girl stuck out her tongue out at it, making a rude gesture with her hands.
Wandering down the hallway she passed several rooms, many which she didn?t look into because in all honesty, she didn?t want to see what was inside. The few that she did look into however were pretty mandatory. Soldiers training with other soldiers, a gravity room in which to test your skills, a lounge to eat in, and the like. She passed several soldiers who were strange armor in the hallway, all of which bowed to her respectively. Waving to the last one she was surprised to find that he nearly fainted, as if she had done something completely out of the ordinary. She simply chalked it up to the fact that he was blue, and that blue people always had the blues.
Following the hallway she found that she was passing more and more people, which means that she must be getting closer to the barracks. Some place. She thought to herself with slight disdain. Cold walls, cold floors, cold hearts. Not a smile in sight. Several sneers, but no smiles. Well, at least there are no evil green men..
Walking through the doorway that was the entry into the barracks she looked around quietly, noticing loads of beds as far as the eye could see. Her gaze was quickly fixed on the center of the large room however, where a Namekian was walking away from a large throne; A throne that wasn?t empty, but rather had a very prestigious looking man in it. A anime sweat drop appeared on her head as she eyed the green man, watching him head towards a cot even as she felt her knees quake ever so lightly. Brushing her golden hair with her right hand she laughed nervously, closing her eyes. ?Just a coincidence? she said quietly ?Just a coincidence..?
?Well at least the man in the throne isn?t demonic or something. Like a vampire, or something.? she whispered under her breath. Walking timidly up to the throne Akane Kimidori presented herself to the leader, putting her hands to her chest and bowing slowly. Taking a erect pose she noticed that he was smiling at her; two sharp fangs glinting in the light of the room. Oh come on! She thought to herself while keeping a bright smile on her face. Dismissed efficiently and quietly by her leader she slunk back into the shadows, picking the bed farthest away from the throne, the map, the leader, and the green man.
Slumping down into her now claimed bed she quickly covered herself up in her blankets, covering her head with them as well. She heard a crowd of people enter but she paid them no mind, this was all just a nightmare after all..

The mercenary lightly drifted from his thoughts at the constant sounds of a crowded room. Opening his eyes, he flinched in pain and involuntarily closed them. Through vclenched jaws, the rogue fought back the urge to let his pain be heard. Water overflowed his pupils and seeped between the cracks of his eyelids. The namekians slender hand rubbed his face furiously trying to soothe the hurt that he felt. Retane sat up and looked down into his lap as he forced his moist eyes open. Drawing a long breath and releasing it, the mercenary pulled the hood where it would comfortably shade his eyes.
Oh how he hated light.
The assassin, clear-eyed after repeatedly blinking them, looked about the room. As the sounds told him, the barracks had been filled with it's soldiers. The mercenary looked to the throne where his Commander entertained himself by looking over files and glancing about the room. Feeling no need to bother Lucifer, the mercenary stood up and moved a few steps to the table that held the three-dimensional map. Three aliens stood there staring at it, talking amongst themselves but did nothing with the map. As the hooded warrior aproached, the mutants looked on at him aand semingly forgot all about there conversation.
Retane looked them over, all dressed in the same black and grey uniforms. The closest to him, happened to have the head and snout of a bearded goat. Though the alien had hands almost as a humans, his body was matted with long white and grey hair. The second, had very little intersting features except for his skin color, which infact annoyed the mercenary as he looked upon him. He was a bright yellow mutant with hair that matched. The last, bore slick black skin and the head of a snake. The mercenary watched on as the serpants tongue flicked out and then back in.
Retane looked down at the map, noticing a key pad off to the side, each with symbols. Beside the keypad was a list of what the symbols meant. The mercneary looked at the base of map, colored in fice different colors. It was quite obvious how it worked and the mercenary set into motion. First the, mercenary selected a watchtower and clicked several sections on the map. As he did holograms of the watchtowers appeared in each of the selected spots on the grid.
Amused, Retane continued, selecting a fortress and did the same as the watch towers, but used them in different spots. Quickly and quietly the mercenary built the land up in what he thought would be good for the initial steps. When he was done, he looked up and noticed he had attracted a crowd. He paused for a moment pondering then turned back to Lucifer, who looked on as well. Noticing that himself and a few others where in fact in the way of the Commander's sight, he moved out of the way, with the others following suit.
The mercenary stood there waiting to see what the commander, or anyone else for that matter, thought.

Akane was one of the many people drawn into the crowd of people, watching the green figure at work with what was on the map. She watched as he touched and dragged, molded cybernetically with his hands; a digital world that he was creating; a molding process that would come into reality. She however, did not drop her jaw like many of the aliens around the map, and instead had a look of curiosity on her face. She had been awoken, if you want to call her hiding a act of lethargicism sleeping. Keeping her distance from several of the aliens and staying closer to the more humanoid ones, or the humans themselves, she watched with interest.
As the crowd parted for the leader to watch she to backed off, not wanting to be in his cold gaze. Watching the screen she noted that there wasn?t just one color on the screen, but four. While this in itself wasn?t distinctly fascinating, the fact that all four were in the different corners of the map, with a large cross of green that divided them, was enthralling. It was like one giant board game; like the games she used to play with her parents years ago. The pieces were not on the board yet, although the youth expected them to be playable soon. A daunting fact slapped her in the face.
I?m one of those pieces on the board. She thought to herself with enthusiasm, although she quickly found herself gulping. I mean, I hope this isn?t like a actual board game, where I can be taken, or killed. Well, more so the taken part. Who knows what people would do now days to a young lady like me, or even, to anyone. I have heard stories about these sort of things..
Akane frowned to herself, clearly daydreaming and falling out of reality. Hearing her stomach growl her thoughts shifted from torture, to that of starving while being tortured. ? And what if they would try to kill me by starving? That would be a horrible way to go. I would rather die outright in a fight. I mean, like, seriously. I doubt even these people would try to starve someone to death..
Hearing her stomach growl she looked down in dismay, lifting up her shirt ever so slightly she began to rub her lightly tanned skin, as what laid below it bellowed in anger. Wincing she tried to silent her companion, only to find that her tummy would not be silenced, such was its rage. Sighing, the golden angel left the map area, heading towards the lounge wear she could eat something. Hopefully they had Sukiyaki..

Uhh?what?
Those two tiny little words were the only things Bujin could think of to describe what he was thinking. In a matter of moments, he had gone from sitting comfortably on his couch to silently shuffling towards his army?s barracks. Despite the extreme irritation and fatigue that he was experiencing, he couldn?t help but wear a wide grin as he entered the stone room. That wide grin, he learned upon his arrival, completely offset that mood that enveloped the room.
A bunch of bodies were standing around awkwardly, making meaningless small talk as they prepared themselves to kill. Their faces were friendly enough, with meager smirks and subtle hand gestures. However, it was their eyes that gave their real intentions away. While their mouths spoke pseudo-kind words, their eyes were screaming bloody murder. And although Bujin had grown up among cold-blooded natural fighters his entire adolescent life, most of the inhabitants of the room sent a shiver spiraling down his spine.
A quick glance around the room revealed much about his initial living conditions. A quick glance was all it took because there were only a few things to look at. There were the walls, which were just as exciting as watching a reality television show, and there were the beds, which were even more boring. To top it all off, Bujin observed, there was no straight path from where he was standing to an open bed.
No, it wasn?t easy being green, and was doubly hard being short. Many of the men that stood around him were easily twice his size, both in height and width. It was probably possible that they could blow on him to tip him over. However, he wouldn?t let that defer him from his task, as he wanted to wallow in his bland cot. Bujin began to push and squirm his way through the crowds and cliques, trying to get at least near his bed so he could do something to get on it. Sadly, no one was willing to budge, nor did some of them notice the small psychic near him. Agitated, Bujin tried to speak up.
?Uhh?excuse me?? he said, a bit more quietly than he would have hoped. The big, muscular man in front of him glanced down, a hint of fury flaring in his eyes. However, to Bujin?s surprise, the man just looked back up and continued the story his was telling to the man who wasn?t paying attention. Bujin thought he could feel his ears steaming.
?Okay, get-the-hell-out-of-my-way!" he screamed, which silenced the crowd just a little. Everyone that surrounded him peeked backward, looking over their heads to try to find who had shouted so rudely. Bujin took his opportunity to sneak past everyone who was looking, and leapt for his bed. He made it, too, though barely.
Scrambling for the head ? or at least where the head should have been ? of the bed, he sat down and began to look around again. To his dismay, the room didn?t magically change into something less boring. Shrugging it off, he looked around to see if he could spot the leader of this army. Looking towards the back half of the room, he saw a throne-like seat, and a man standing beside it. He was definitely what the group stood for; whether that was good or bad didn?t matter at that point.
For whatever reason, Bujin felt as though he would land in the same army as Celipa, but that didn?t happen. The whole thing was practically randomized, and the odds of the two being on the same army were pretty slim. It didn?t bother Bujin too much, as he had only just met the Saiyan female, but the thought of him fighting her just bugged him. Trying to pay it no heed, he lay down and tried to sneak a nap in. Of course, this action was more about him crawling into a fetal position and thinking about pancakes than it was him taking a rest.
(OOC: He's just going to be there for a while. Feel free to sneak up on him if you like.)

?Ugh.? yelled Pan as she stepped out of the teletube. ?I really need to learn teleportation, cause these teletubes are harsh on the stomach.?
Rubbing her abdomen, the thirteen year old half-breed looked around the area she had just been teleported to. The room was lined with numerous beds, all of which didn?t look comfortable in the least. Bending over, she ran her hang across the blanket of the closet bunk and immediately withdrew, the cover felt almost as if it had metal fibers in it, making for a very uncomfortable feel. Wondering how anyone could sleep with such a nasty material, Pan continued her unguided tour into the depths of the room.
At the head of the room sat something that seemed vaguely familiar to the tiny tot, a throne and desk. Though it was obviously for some sort of important person, Pan had the sinking feeling that she had seen something like it before, on her home planet of Vegeta. Allowing the thought to pass by, the teenager turned from the desk and realized that there were other people standing around. Smiling, she stretched out her arms and made her way over to one.
With her eyes darting about, Pan looked over all the creatures in the room, two immediately caught her attention, but she figured it was more due to their energy levels than actual attraction. One was tall and slightly pale, while the other was green. Wondering who they were, but unsure if she really wanted to know, the half-Sayajin continued her gazing and finally, her eyes fell upon a familiar. Although she didn?t know this person, she did know that it was a girl and girls needed to stick together.
Tapping the golden blonde on her shoulder, she turned her body and eyed the slightly taller girl. Their eyes immediately locked on one another?s and happiness seemed to swell, though each were unsure of the others alliance. At first speechless, Pan finally spoke up, but not before smiling widely.
?Heya chicka, the names Pan.? the half-breed nodded her head slightly. ?I was hoping that us girls could possibly stick with each other, you know, girl power and stuff.?
The blonde teenager smiled back at the Halfling.
?Akane Kimidori.? responded the little blonde. ?And boy is it nice to see another human, especially a girl.?
Pan smiled.
?Actually, I?m only half human.? whispered Pan. ?But don?t tell anyone.?
Akane rolled her eyes, it just wasn?t her day. Hoping that at some point she would be able to meet up with a full blooded human, she sat down on her bed and motioned for Pan to follow. Immediately perking up, the Halfling sat a few inches from the blonde and then looked up at the group that had formed around the green guy.
?Anything important going on up there?? Pan inquired.
Akane shrugged.
?It seems like some kind of strategy that the jade guy is working on, but I have yet to fully understand it.? responded Akane as she stretched out her arms. ?in any case, I believe it to be some sort of virtual simulation, or game. Hey, how old are you anyway??
?Thirteen.? Pan quickly responded. ?Why? How old are you??
Akane shrugged.
?I?m thirteen as well, just wondering.? she laughed. ?You?re pretty paranoid, aren?t you??
Pan placed her hands on her hips, but smiled.
?Who knows what people would do now days to a young lady like me.? whispered Pan as she eyed the crowd.
Akane smiled, she had thought the same thing a while ago, perhaps there was to be something good from hanging with this other girl.

Sazuaa began to notice the rapidly decreasing number of fighters in the room, it was becoming clear that the only warriors left were not the cream of the crop, as it were. The only thing he could think of was that the strongest had all been moved to their assigned armies. If that was true, then why was he still waiting, surely he would be one of the strongest in the contest, if not the strongest. So then shouldn?t he have been one of the first to be drafted? At any rate Sazuaa was becoming impatient, something had better happen, and soon.
A couple of minutes had past when Sazuaa noticed a youthful looking man wearing an army uniform walking up towards him. ?Sazuaa?? The soldier asked looking down at a clipboard he held in his right hand.
?That?s what they call me.? Sazuaa replied dryly.
The young looking soldier stared coldly at the blue alien, his face remained expressionless, ?You?ve been assigned to the Syntech barracks. Follow me to your teletube.?
Oh you?ve got to be kidding me, Sazuaa became flustered as the realisation that he would have to use a teletube again set in. ?Another teletube? Are you sure? Isn?t there any other way?? The blue alien pleaded.
?Fraid not.? The youthful soldier tucked the clipboard under his arm, ?follow me please.?
With a loud sigh Sazuaa got out of his seat and followed the fresh faced soldier to a teletube with the word Syntech etched on sign above it. ?Please step into the teletube.? Arms folded Saz begrudgingly complied and stepped into the tube.
The baby faced soldier pressed acouple of buttons on the tubes computer and in a flash Sazuaa was gone.
His ears ringing the non-transformer uneasily made his way out of the teletube, stretching his muscles he realised to his surprise other than being slightly dizzy, he was relatively unphased by his teleportation. It seemed finally things were looking up for the vain alien.
?So this is the Syntech barracks? he said to himself, unimpressed by the depressingly dull surroundings. Sazuaa walked through the dreary hallway until coming upon door. Inside was a large room filled creatures that he could only assume to be his comrades in the war. There appeared to be one thin, uncomfortable looking single bed per person.
The aliens arrival didn?t receive a lot of attention, only a couple of the warriors turned to acknowledge him. Looking around the room there were no familiar faces to greet him, he did recognize one though, the teenage girl that caught his eye in the lounge, he was surprised to see her with the other fighters, in the meeting room he had presumed that she was simply a waitress or something along those lines, he never imagined her to be a warrior.
In the corner of the room the blue alien spotted a free bed, walking past the crowd of fighters he laid himself down on the hard matress and closed his eyes, trying his best to drown out the sound of the other warriors banter. The day had dragged on a bit and he was looking forward to getting some much needed rest.
(Ooc Bleh. Feel free to meet up with Sazuaa.)
