Survivors can roleplay here.

They will be given 24 hours before being teleported away from Dante. Travel amongst the united country is completely allowed because flying has been enabled.

Survivors of the losing group are held captive, but can still roleplay.

You can roleplay anytime, but in character, it's just 24 hours.

Gokua had defeated the great Saiyan, but it was all in vain; United still fell short of victory. Defeat carried a distasteful feeling, but it was one that all of United had to endure. That day they lost not only to Dante, but to their own arrogance. They were labeled the ?good? faction at the beginning, and such a title also held fallacious allusions that good would always prevail. What a stupid thing to put value on. Where did that title get them? Nowhere.

Defeat was something many United soldiers felt long before the battle concluded, however; at first glance of Dante?s overwhelming numbers, many had already kissed their ass goodbye. Gokua, along with other superior officers, tried to revive the morale of the army, but to a degree, they failed to do so; in the back their minds, doubt lingered. The alien had failed as a commander. He failed to bring his army to the prosperities of victory. Instead, all he did was win a one-on-one battle, which carried some sort of positive feeling, but only to him. He led by example, but ignored his men whilst doing so. What a leader he was.

* * * * * * *

?What do we have here?? a Dante soldier snickered as he looked at the injured commander, ?A high-ranked officer of United!? He yelled with enthusiasm as he grasped the commander by his tarnished clothing, bringing him up to eye-level. ?You?re not so high and mighty now, are you??

Gokua was in sheer agony from the injuries he received during his fight. He wanted to cry out, to expel his emotions, but he could not do so in the face of his enemies. He could not reveal weakness, and could not allow them to perceive him as some frail warrior. He was compelled to keep his pain inside.

?I asked you a question, you fucking scum!? The soldier snatched his pistol from its holster and held it up, into Gokua?s sight. ?Are you going to answer it??

Gokua kept silent, unwilling to communicate to any opposing man. The soldier became enraged by the disrespect the alien displayed towards him. He decided to punish the weakened commander?with a swift slam of his pistol to the commander?s head. The bottom of the gun?s handle thumped against his temple, causing a gash across his head. Blood trickled down his fresh wound, but Gokua remained silent.

?Oh, so we have some type of gladiator before us!?? the soldier continued to provoke the weakened commander. ?Well, you killed one of our commanders, so I should take your life this instant! You?re just fortunate that the Geneva Convention prohibits me from doing so!?

The proud alien coughed. ?Do what you please,? he finally mustered up. ?But remember that there is no respect for one that harms a man that cannot defend himself. Doing so makes you weaker than I am in this current state.? He coughed once more before blood spewed from his mouth. ?I shall never admit defeat. United lives on, in the souls of the deceased!? he bellowed with all of his remaining energy. ?United lives on in our bravery!?

The soldier?s anger increased as he heard the alien?s memorable words. ?Live on in this, you son of a bitch!? He raised his pistol into the air once more, and brought it down upon Gokua?s temple again, knocking him unconscious.

It was over. All the battles, all the death, everything was finally said and done. Bodies laid everywhere. There want a spot on the cold surface of the planet that want covered by a dead carcass. A darkened stream of blood and filth traveled throughout the ground, created by the men that battled here only hours ago. A mixture of emotions coursed through the saiyans vein. He was so glad it was over, he wouldn?t have been able to take the stress of it any longer.

?I hope they liked the show? Para muttered sarcastically. He was really thinking that the viewers should be lucky that they weren?t involved.

Dante had been victorious, but it had not come without a price. They had to battle against a determined United Army. Some of Para?s troops were still alive and he was proud to see them stand. A few were dazed and badly injured but they all managed to stand up tall with their General and for that he commended them. The saiyan elites body was covered in wounds and open gashes. He placed his hand over his shoulder to stop the blood from trickling down his stomach. He turned to his men.

They fought hard and never let up. You could see the effects of battle take their toll. Their faces were pale and gloomy. Patches of dirt were placed sparatically around their expressions. Blood came out of their open wounds and flowed down their clothing. The saiyan opened his mouth as if to speak but he could find the words. Words flew out after an akward pause.

?We may have been out numbered. We may have been out equipt, but we definitely had more heart. We proved to be an opponent worth challenging and to me WE won this game.? The men tried to smile but they were hurting too much.

?Let them bask in the glory of their Victory, but let us bask in the glory of our own. We did the bast we could and we took a lot of those guys down. You showed no fear in the face of your enemies. You lifted the fear of dying from your soul. You were United!? Para placed his hand up in the air for the last time in this grueling game.

Tears gathered in the eyes of some of Para?s men as they too put there hands up in the sky. Para slowly brought his hand back to his side and thought about all that had happened at Cristo. The once proud Fortress laid before him in shambles. The Catapult fire, the trenches, the battle for the inner sanctum all happened here. He placed his stained white glove over his beating heart. His eyes closed and the memories poured through his skull. He placed his hand onto one of the uncovered parts of the ground and said his goodbye. It wouldn?t be long before he was transported back to reality and back to the life he once lived.

?Its been fun.? He said tapping the ground. He stood up and walked toward the entrance of the breach, off to bigger and better things.

OOC: Thanks for the memories Big Grin

Despite the end of the event known as Dante?s Abyss: Conquest, a multitude of screaming fans remained. In a stadium large enough to fit a large portion of a bustling city, people stared at the hulking television screens held in the middle. Upon the screen, a complete recap was occurring of the event, and even though many of the fans had witnessed the battles that had occurred, simply seeing it once was not enough.

In the darkness of one of many tunnels that led into the stadium, Broli watched, his arms folded. His showed no change in emotion, not when his own face was on the screen, and not when the recap portrayed the slaughter of dozens of soldiers. He had come this far. He and his team had won Dante?s Abyss: Conquest. Together, they had batted down any opponent that had risen to their challenge of victory.

?Great, wasn?t it?? came the voice from his side. He turned his head ever so slightly, noting the fan next to him. The fan?s eyes were glued to the screen, his lips curved in a smile. ?Did you get to see any of it?? he asked, placing his hands to his hips.

?I saw more than enough,? was the Saiya-Jin?s quiet response, almost a whisper as it escaped his lips.

The fan shook his head. ?I can?t believe what some of those guys went through. I mean, really, the psychological stress of war. I mean, sure, it was a game and all, but to them,? he raised his fingers, pointing to the screen, ?To those soldiers, it was a war for survival. Know what I mean??

Broli closed his eyes for a moment, and with a sigh, turned to leave the stadium. The fan watched quizzically, wondering if he had said something wrong. As the Saiyan walked away, he spoke over his shoulder. ?I understand more than you know.?

He was not the person he used to be. He wasn?t the Burori that had entered Dante?s Abyss. Who he was, he still wasn?t exactly sure. Even so, he knew that his journeys would not come to a close. Though he felt as if he had defied Fate, an inclination within his being spoke otherwise, as if it had been Fate?s planning all along. Overwhelmed, bloodied, and tired, Broli ignored the closing ceremonies completely.

With another page complete in what he called his own destiny, Broli left Dante?s Abyss: Conquest. He hoped to see those that he had lost again. He hoped to see his friends again. He hoped?

OOC: It was fun. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
