Problems
#1
I has them.

Seriously. I was so pumped up about returning to Chubbs, but then, I hit a roadblock. Most of my home computers are set up by my dad's firm, and I'm not allowed to change a thing on them. Including antivirus settings. Well it seems Chubbs now uses a small Javascript script to redirect something, and it gets my computer to emit a huge warning on the network, and delete the file.

That wouldn't be a problem if it didn't cause everyone home to freak out and ban my access to here. So yeah, I barely managed to override the settings and connect to post up my RP after almost a whole week of banning. Anything I can do to make it so either my antivirus shuts the hell up about it, or Chubbs doesn't make me download that file?

Here's the report in case you're doubting me:

So yeah. It isn't on my end, since my friend's computer does exactly the same thing, and I'm positive my computer's virus-free, so I have no clue what the issue could be.

Help please? D:

(Also first Asylum post on this return :O )

And it's the host server that is infected... we can't do anything about it except keep deleting the scripts.

Don't know why it's alerting you, it's harmless to your computer.

Occasionally, instead of going to Chubbs, that script will redirect you to some random blog. It is, however, harmless.

He actually did it out of spite. Seems pissing your parents off isn't the best thing to do.

So it's actually a redirecting script? Amusing. I thought you used it to redirect to some other internal folder or something, not that it actually does anything. It's alerting me only because it's set to alert me on ANYTHING. Literally. I get warnings if I download a file I don't have an extension for. Meh, at least my own computer is fixed now and I have access to my own antivirus settings.

Blargh. Silly Antivir.

Yeah, it's pretty annoying because the host keeps saying it's not their fault. :/

There was a big outbreak of hosts that were infected via flash and other methods and its extremely widespread right now. I don't think it actually does anything to locals but messes with the hosts and just basically is an irritant.

We are highly considering a change in servers right now to deal with this, our host is not satisfying us in regards to this situation and the Google situation, which are related.
