Name: Android 18/Juuhachigou
Age: Looks young, but is really around 20
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 130lbs
Race: Hybrid Android
Fighting Style: Calculated and almost dance like, mostly relying on speed and strength
Affiliation: Neutral, leaning more towards good than evil
Alliance: Second in command of Ragnarok Black
Description:
Android 18 has long golden hair, it has grown since she was abducted by Dr.Gero and now falls down just past her shoudlers. She still parts it at the side in her usual fashion. She has soft blue eyes, but they turn red whenever she uses her scouter, which isn't often. The most noticeable trait on her body is a two pronged claw-like scar across her right cheek. It is just below her eye and ends near her mouth. Her outfit varies due to being damaged most of the time, but she also has light armor that is trendy and not as bulky as most armor would be. It also has a cape, but it is thin and light so she hardly notices it. Her complection is light due to being part android; she has never tried getting a tan, and prefers her light skin. Although she is very strong she has a lithe body, most of her strength is due to being part android.
Relationships:
- Raditzu: She met him on Namek-Sei and since then they have grown very close. They have been through good times and bad, both witnessing each others deaths. After a long time they have grown intimate, but not constantly. They simply enjoy each others company. 18 finds comfort in the Saiya-Jin's presence.
Due to her amnesia Android-18 has found Raditzu to be a stranger. However, she recalls snippets of their life together, and is slowly becoming closer to him once more. She finds strength in his presence, more now than ever.
- Vegeta: She met the prince of Saiya-Jin's while looking for Dragon Ball's, since he tried to steal them she has not liked him since. He seemed to even consider killing her for the dragon ball's, so she tries not to get near him, she does not like the feeling he gives off.
Since her amnesia Android-18 does not recall the horrid events involved with Vegeta. Until her memory returns she only knows of him as King of Vegeta-Sei.
- Koola/(Wafuru): She met him along with Vegeta, she also tried to kill him in a strange Last Man Standing tournament run by some alien. They do not get along; she can not stand to be near him.
Due to her loss of memory the Android does not remember who Koola is.
Kills:
- Reijin - During the Last Man Standing tournament Android 18 took out Reijin with a devastating ki attack before he could take out Goku Jr.
Piccolo [Dana] - She killed him in Dante's Abyss, simply out of competition.
Jackie Chun - She killed him in Dante's Abyss, simply out of competition.
- Cell - During the Prophecy Child saga Android 18 was absorbed by Cell. Raditzu has never really forgiven him for it ever since.
- Ki Sense(1, 2) - Android 18 is able to sense power signatures at great distances and tell if they are stronger or weaker than herself. Using this she is also able to tell if someone is trying to suppress their ki, because she can penetrate their signature more affectively. She has yet to master the ability to sense individual signatures; to her they are either strong or weak.
Kaioken - Android 18 mastered this ability when she died in Prophecy's Child. She was able to master it with the help of Raditzu, though she has not used it very much. She has felt no need to use the ability because of her ability to conserve her energy and not lose it. Most likely it would be her first choice of power up if her upgrades were ever damaged or inaccessible.
Metal Binding - Android 18 has yet to use this ability. She mastered it under Lord Vine?s lessons, and he bestowed the ability upon her and the others in her group after Prophecy's Child, seeing that they deserved it. She is not sure what good it will do for her, but plans to put the skill to use as soon as she decides how to use it.
Genki Dama - Android 18 mastered this technique after Kaioken. She has only used it once, due to its powerful nature. It is mostly a trump card for tough situations where she's in a group that's in trouble.
Fusion - Android 18 is not sure how she was able to fuse, but she did. During Friend or Foe she and Raditzu fused and defeated their enemy. It has yet to be discussed, and a part of her wants to do it again.
Reptile Eighteen came into existance in Calculating Catastrophe, Burter and Eighteen needed to fuse in order to fend off a mutant scorpion or else they would die.
-Eightzu (Android 18 + Raditzu)
-Reptile Eighteen (Android 18 + Burter)
Telepathy - Android 18 has noticed the first signs of telepathy, but has not explored the ability. She plans on developing it and using it with good intentions.
Body Split - Android 18 is not aware of this ability yet. She has used it as Reptile Eighteen, but beyond that she does not know about it.
- Starburst – Using her newfound innocence and happiness, the android summons forth her innate power from deep within to form within an outstretched hand. The fingers must be aligned vertically with the palm facing the target. She will focus as little or as much power as she needs into the attack creating a white orb just barely an inch from her fleshy palm. The sphere will grow in size depending on the energy pushed into it. Once it is sufficient the girl will let it loose, whilst energy snakes from her palm behind it like an asteroids tale. The glittering mass of light and energy will connect with the target causing a very extravagant display of luminosity and energy. The attack will seem very much like a firework, sometimes taking on a tinge of color. The move will finish similar to that of a black hole, all of the light and energy will suck forth like a vacuum and disappear all at once. If the target is weak he, too, will disappear. If he is strong (aka a PC) he will feel disorientated for a short period of time, as if his own power had been zapped away, although it has not.
- Inferno – Everyone feels hatred at one point or another. It is that angry furious feeling that swells up in the pit of the stomach, which is what this power is drawn from. This attack is used when the android is particularly not happy with the situation or the target. She will raise both of her hands upward with the fingers pointing vertically and her elbows slightly bent with the hands at slight angles to each other. Crimson will bleed from her palms, the energy will fluctuate as if it is actually blood and it will seep to the earth below. The glimmering energy will disappear from that point on, and in moments it will snake out of the ground underneath the victim. The blood red life-force will burst upwards like tendrils and snap around the form of the enemy, its touch will be like fire ripping at flesh. It will burn as the light and energy will slowly seep into the target forming a pillar of light right at his center and dissipate in an array of particles that will flutter lifelessly to the ground like apple blossoms. The attack will cause the victim to feel as if they have second degree burns, although there will be no apart damage to them, and the attack is not fire but pure ki energy. A sick numb feeling will sit in their stomach, but the whole affect will only last depending on the strength of the target. If they are weak it will last for up to a day, while stronger fighters will only feel the affects for upwards of 15 minuets.
Eighteen?s history is unknown to many. Even she is not aware of her past, if she even had one worth remembering. She has only secured a few events within her existence, since she could remember. It is a brief tale up to the current situation she is involved in, and likely not the most exciting?
This android only remembers back to the day she arrived on Namek-Sei, everything before that is too hard to pick apart. She did not know why she was there, or how she got there. It was her first time upon the green night-less planet. She could not remember her home, or her life, only that she was alive and some recollection of a brother. It was then that Eighteen suffered an assault on her mind, a wicked nightmare. She struggled against strange visions of death, and darkness. She awoke from the torment with questions, and a fear of becoming evil. Not long afterward she decided to enter a tournament, despite her situation, most of the days had been spent in a boring fashion. She wanted to have fun, try to find something to do, and to test her skills as a fighter.
The tournament did not bode well. She defeated a demon, but for some reason her last match had been changed and the demon had been allowed to re-enter. It had been a horrible fight, one that tested all of her strength and skill. Through it all, it had ended in ill favor. The demon had used his tricks to place a ki bomb within her gut, making her increase in side and almost explode. Before it could be finished the fight ended and the attack ceased, he had won, and she had felt cheated. The android took her prize, a Dragon Radar, and recovered in the nearest Capsule Cooperation building. She swore revenge against that demon, she had been humiliated, but strangely she felt a new purpose arise.
Along with her brother, Eighteen began her mission to find all seven of the Dragon Balls. She was confident, even though that horrid demon held one in his possession; she had to extract revenge anyway. It was easy enough with he company of her brother, finding that she was not alone in her existence. They shared what memories they could remember, her brother could only recall a memory of Dr.Gero and Android 19, and they had been in his laboratory. All Eighteen had were her strange dreams, not knowing whether they were true or not, wanting to believing that her assumptions were correct. She believed she had run from home, and her brother Seventeen had followed. Gero had kidnapped them then, and that?s all she could assume. They grew closer as siblings, and managed to retrieve two of the golden orbs with ease, leaving only 6 more to claim.
They began to form a group consisting of two other members who had come along on the search for the Dragon Balls. For once in a long time she felt comfort, having people with her, helping her. With 3 Dragon Balls in their possession she felt much closer to her goal. Along the way one of the group members left, leaving only three, but Eighteen did not give up her search, even if it was back to only herself and Seventeen. They secured their treasure within a ship her brother owned, and set out to find the only two they knew were not being held by opponents. The demon and a changeling that had escaped them, but they would get hose balls in due time.
It was then that her life would be changed, that she would meet a Saiya-Jin she would grow closer to than any other being. Her group became five, this strange strong warrior somehow wanting to join the ragtag team. It was assumed that he simply wanted a part of their wish, but his reason was that he simply wanted to see it. Whatever the case, she ad her brother welcomed him along. Their search was put on hold; their new addition had proposed that they enter a tournament. With the ship they left Namek-Sei, their DragonBall quest could be done afterward.
Upon the ship Eighteen found out many things, thanks to the Saiya-Jin?s help. His name was Raditzu, and at first she thought he could not be trusted. The emptiness of space drove them to train, to talk, and other amusing things. She felt comfortable around him, and he used his teleportation ability to let her see Earth-Sei, well, more like a hot spring.
Well, anyway, they did arrive on Mercy-Sei, where Raditzu began to act strange, as if protective. Of course the android was rather naive with the situation. The threat of powerful men was everywhere, but she was oblivious to the dangers, thankfully the Saiya-Jin managed to keep her safe?and she liked that. That was until the tournament began, and despite the closeness they shared the night before, it would mean nothing in the ring. The last two fights she was still in, but her opponent was none other than the Saiya-Jin. He was a friend, a close friend, someone she had never had before. It was a cruel fight, she dared not walk away, it was in her to fight, to win. Her fate of losing to him, due to his obviously powerful advantage, was cut short. A strange demon had decided to steal the DNA of the remaining fighters and use it to create a creature very similar to Cell. Needless to say, upon the fusion of her long haired friend and an acquaintance of his, they managed to destroy the threat without a problem. Promptly the fused fighter teleported them all to Earth-Sei, a larger tournament was underway?
The tournament had taken a twisted turn. Her first match had become interrupted, and it was all because of the DragonBalls. All alone she was confronted by the Saiya-Jin Prince Vegeta. He had seemed like a decent person, back on Mercy-Sei, having used with Raditzu. It was obvious that he was greedy, and not as nice of a guy as she had thought. When she had though things could not get worse another fighter came, one she dreaded from that day onward. He was the changeling Prince Koola. She would not surrender her treasure, the work she and her companions had put into them could not be stolen. She felt hopeless, when to her amazement Raditzu came to the rescue, literally. Before things could get messy he managed to cleverly teleport them out of the arena, leaving the evil doers behind. After that event things calmed down, although Raditzu seemed strange. Not long afterwards, between rounds, they managed to summon the dragon and receive a boost of power. The threat of Koola and Vegeta would no longer loom over her, so she could return to the tournament with no worries. She won the tournament; the little interruption had not ruined her chances of continuing. Her reward was a ?free life?, so that if she died she could return back if she wanted to. It was an achievement she was proud of, something she thought was just out of grasp. It had gone a lot better than when she had fought the demon.
Immediately following her victory the android and Saiya-Jin took to the Lookout to train, it was her first time using the Room of Spirit and Time. A whole year was spent with her long haired friend, and she learned more trhan just fighting. The question often came to her, what was love? Had she loved, could she love? And within that isolated room, she felt love, if that?s what it was. The time had been spent training her body, and her heart. It was a comforting feeling to have someone say such things to her, it was new but wonderful.
Time passed, and he disappeared. Where he went, she did not know, but if he had wanted to tell her he would have. She had control of her brother?s ship, so she decided to invest in a new upgrade she had heard of. If it worked she would gain a power to match even Raditzu, but no matter how hard she tried after getting it, the thing would not activate. Just as Earth-Sei came into view from the ship she passed out, somehow she had been teleported to a different planet. Using her ki sense she managed to find the long haired Saiya-Jin, to his surprise. Apparently he had not been the only one to disappear, so that explained it. It was some game, to see who would be the last warrior to survive. Why had she been taken there? She was just happy to be with Raditzu again. The safe feeling was cut short when she was informed that Vegeta and Koola were also on the planet. She feared them; they could easily beat her to a pulp. She, Raditzu, and a few others tried to lay low, but they could not hide forever. Soon there was a fight between the Saiya-Jin and a Namek named Kami. It turned out that he was an Ultra Namek, his power installed more fear I her than any other being. Seeing her companion stunned she raced out to give him confidence, he had been the strongest to her, but even with this new foe, they could still win somehow. Before she could help, though, she was interrupted by none other than Koola.
They fought, and this time she was not so weak. His hits still hurt, but she lasted a good while before he finally beat her to the ground. She had assumed it was over, but once more Raditzu was there to save her, and surprisingly Kami landed next to him. It was a strange twist, now it was her group against Koola, Vegeta, and a strange black haired Saiya-Jin she did not know. She and Raditzu took after Koola, she dealt weak blows while her companion did the real work. She wished that it could be the other way around, but he liked being the one to protect her, but it was frustrating to be so weak. She summoned up her strength and fought the changeling with all she had, and then he moved away to offer a proposal. Why not help him and team up on Kami? No, she would not do that, helping Koola was something she could not do. Kami interrupted them; he had easily beaten the Prince of Saiya-Jin and now took on the changeling. Raditzu rushed in, as if to help, but to her horror he did the opposite. He managed to pin the Namek down, and using all the power he possessed, he managed to cause a massive explosion to wipe each other out. She could only watch as the man she had gotten so close to, the man she loved, killed himself.
The anger and hatred fuled her, she fought against Koola, not giving up, wanting to kill any of the evil foes before her. The rest of her companions were killed, and as the strange fighter leapt in to attack she mistook him for Raditzu. The emotions were hot, knowing he was dead, she scream withoutrage and a flush of power flooded into her body. It was something she had never feklt before, but she didn?t care. She beat the figure, Reijin, and managed to kill him. Before she could slaughter the changeling she was caught by Vegeta and held in position while he did just what Kami had. She was destroyed, utterly. She did not really die, however, she was returned back to the ship, slightly damaged but alive. So where was Raditzu?? He was gone again, but was he alive? Maybe?
She took a new path, a leap of faith. By now she had changed her opinion of Namek-Sei, once it had been home, but upon seeing more of the universe, she found it to be rather dull. Eighteen left Earth-Sei for the Saiya-Jin planet, Veget-Sei. She had no plans, no idea what she would do, but the loneliness drove her to do it. As she visted a town she came across a flyer, a simple quest, which she decided to accept. It was here that she me Cell, Gero?s supposed perfect creation. They fought, but she proved to be better. He had some obsession with absorbing her, which was unsettling, but in the end they formed a truce. Together they completed the mission, but his greedy eyes were ever on her back. It was decided that they would go to Lord Vines to learn Metal Binding.
Along the way to finding Lord Vine, Eighteen ran into Trunks, and a few other fighters, and then the long haired Saiya-Jin arrived. She was not entirely pleased, but his business was not her concern. She was happy that he had returned, having last seen him sacrifice himself by blowing up on Kami, his company was still welcome. It didn?t sit well that he so easily acted like nothing had happened, and he had not contacted her, but here he was now. So she, Trunks, Cell, Raditzu, and the others all went to Lord Vines. Their training was hard, and for some reason Raditzu was made to train with Lord Vine?s other student, Sei, she found herself feeling jealous for the first time. She wanted to train with him, but in the end she had herself beat up by the Saiya-Jin teen Trunks.
Not long after their first few days, they were given a mission. Something strange was occurring upon Vegeta-Sei, they were to find out what it was. Of course, his other student was sent to watch them, it only added to her ill feelings toward the female. They battled strange robots and Saiya-Jin within a science facility. A strange robotic beast took them on, it was part Saiya-Jin and robot, resembling a mass of flesh and metal. Raditzu made short work of it, but something they had not expected happened. A strange device leapt from the destroyed monster and snapped onto the back of the long haired Saiya-Jin?s neck, taking over his body.
It was once more decided, that they would fight, fate liked to do that. The last time they had actually fought each other, not training, had been on Mercy-Sei. That had been for a tournament, this was for life. He was not himself; she had to get the device off of him. It had a mind of its own and it reveled in the power Raditzu possessed. She, too, had power. Her R.A.G.E upgrade had activated finally during the Last Man Standing game she had been in, so she would be no push over. Yet, she could not hurt him; it was still the man she loved, regardless of what was happening. The fight went back and forth, but with the help of Trunks they managed to break the nasty machine that possessed him and returned him back to normal, although he was rather beat up. They returned to the building, but an explosion erupted and she found herself blacking out.
They were prisoners, they were interrogated and tested. What was it all about? They made her feel dirty, violated, but there was nothing he could do. They had bands on their wrists that made them powerless. In the end it was all clear, they were set in a man-made jungle. In it they had created a super machine from their tests, one that would be as powerful as they were. They would be hunted, and there was no escape.
Raditzu was acting odd the whole time, but they worked together to defeat the beast. With Trunk?s spirit bomb they managed to finally destroy it, only to be ushered away once more by their captures. Why was all of this happening? She also felt wearier of Cell. Although having Raditzu around made her safe, she felt a little distant from him too. The appearance of Sei never set well with her. They had been making their way to the palace on Vegeta-Sei, restrained as always. The female student of Lord Vine was able to free them, but she left just as soon as she came. Raditzu seemed upset, but all the android could do was ignore it. Thanks to Raditzu?s ability to teleport, and Trunk?s, they arrived in the throne room, along with a few other strange warriors. A man by the name of Bross explained everything, to their relief. His child had been taking by some scientist, apparently the boy was a danger, and the scientist had some drug that he was testing on him. So they were to go to Earth-Sei to stop the disaster that could unfold.
Radius and Dars were being escorted out of a building by some organization called The Crossbones. They cut it short, but the scientist had other plans. He injected himself wioth the serum he had created using the boy, whom was completely out of it. The strange liquid forced the madman into a Super Saiya-Jin. Raditzu took it upon himself to battle the freak, but Eighteen could see that it would not be ass easy as they had hoped. Radius?s power went from weak to very powerful, although Raditzu did a fair amount of damage, their opponent only got back up for more. She tried to help, s did the others, but it was no good. Meanwhile, Bross had gone to his son, and Radius saw this. He would not have his lab-rat taken away. He destroyed Bross, triggering an emotional outburst from the pre-teen. The young Dars ascended into a Legendary Super Saiya-Jin and prepared a blast that would avenge his father. Many of the group was killed, while the android and Raditzu were buried beneath rubble. Radius was gone, but now they had a worse foe on their hands. Dars had no sense of good and evil, he would destroy everything until nothing was left. Eighteen managed to free herself and her companion from the rubble, and she felt compelled to just leave, she wanted nothing more than to ask Raditzu to just leave with her. This was too much, but she saw his determination, and did not speak. They had to defeat Dars, there was no other way.
Raditzu battled the powerful child on his own, like he had some destiny to fulfill. So, while he did that she went to see if the others were alright. She happened upon Cell, but did not get close. She did not like him, even since the day they had met; He had his own agenda, and that involved her. She did not stay long to see if he was ok, instead she returned to the fight. Of course, she tried to help, but was easily tossed aside. Raditzu?s brother, some strange blue creature named Burter, Goku?s son and a cyan haired Saiya-Jin named Bra, they could not hurt him. Even Raditzu was getting beat by the freak child. Things seemed to be getting out of control, when suddenly something strange occurred. A flash of light obscured her vision, but once it settled Raditzu and Goku were no longer there. Instead a new warrior had been made, Gokitzu. This was their hope. The fused fighter beat upon Dars like he were a weakling. She watched, absorbed in the battle. Would they win now? No, they wouldn?t. The fused Saiya-Jin spent more time having fun than being serous, and before they could kill Dars they were forced to separate. All hope left the android as she watched the blue creature die while trying to defeat the powerful child. It devastated the young Saiya-Jin girl, they had been close. The fight was beginning to seem impossible. Now all but Cell and Gohan fought. This was all they could do, but Goku had one idea. She watched as he managed to use his cloaking device to get behind the overgrown tyrant and latch onto his back and neck. She watched as he repeated the tactic Raditzu had against Kami, and a bright light filled the area. He tried to kill Dars by sacrificing himself, but all it did was weakling the Legendary Super Saiya-Jin. Gohan watched this, overcome by the sight of losing his father, he became a Super Saiya-Jin.
Through it all she watched, Raditzu told her to jump in if things got bad and formed a plan with the younger girl. They went in, and she continued to watch with hopes that they might win. She had forgotten, in that small amount of time. He took the distraction and snuck up on her like the monster he was. Cell absorbed Eighteen, took her into him to achieve perfection. Struggling did nothing, and she felt her life leave her. How could it end like this? What would Raditzu do? She had to help him, but now all of that was over, she was going to die.
She found herself in the afterlife. Goku and Burter were there, and Yemma decided they would all go to Heaven, so Goku used a new technique similar to Raditzu?s and teleported them to a strange planet that was in the afterlife. Disorientated, she found the ?ruler? of the planet, King Kai. Apparently he could teach her things she would not learn anywhere else. It occurred to her that she could return to life whenever she wanted, having received the free life ticket from the tournament long ago on Earth-Sei. Training sounded good, so she decided to take King Kai up on the offer.
The first task was to make him laugh. How this was training, she had no clue, but she tried her best. She told a joke, which King Kai took to be funny and let her pass the first test with ease. The next task would prove annoying, she had to get used to the planets gravity. In order to get used to the gravity, King Kai ordered her to catch the resident monkey Bubbles. The creature was fast, and many times she felt like crying and giving up. She did not, though; she activated her upgrades and tried harder, and finally nabbed the monkey, passing the second test. The third was just as silly as the others. With the help of Burter they were to hit a strange insect creature named Gregory on the head. They devised a plan and ailed the agile creature like a baseball, passing the test as easily as the others. Once again, another strange mundane task, she and Burter washed King Kai?s care, and apparently they passed the fourth task. Would there actually be any actual training?
She wanted to learn what the others were, so as they were taught by King Kai she listened and observed. It was a feeling inside, one that she felt she needed to surpass them. She wanted to achieve these techniques, and not be left behind. While the others slept she trained. She ran laps around the planet, letting herself think, trying to adjust to the planets gravity. She could not help but wonder, where was Raditzu? He could teleport; he had been to King Kai?s before. She had gotten no word from him, and she el that perhaps he may be happy. She wondered if he had returned to Lord Vines, and she remembered Sei. Did he like her? Maybe he had moved on, forgotten her. It hurt to be alone, not even the reptile Burter seemed to like her, ever since she had told him her name. She trained by herself, she trained body and mind. She listened at a distance when the others were awake and with King Kai, and then went about the training alone. Strange dreams plagued her, but she worked to calm her inner self, to get past this obstacle. One night one of her wishes came true. King Kai had left training dummies out, and so she used them. She recalled seeing Goku burn a hole through some strange metal, and these figures were made of the same stuff. She concluded that she was to do something of the same effect, but how? No matter what she did the figures would not be damaged. She grew frustrated at herself, but with burning determination she beat upon the one dummy until it finally cracked. She could feel the strange power deep inside, when would she finally unlock it?
The dummies came to life, strangely, and so she fought them. They hurt her, she felt the pain and it was real. It was five against one, but no matter what she did it was as if they could feel no pain. She unleashed a devastating Final Flash upon them, and then fell in exhaustion. The pain was gone, and the dummies were back to their original position. Had she been dreaming? She felt her mind playing tricks on her, and it cruelly placed Raditzu within her vision. Deciding it was another mind game, she prepared to fight, hoping the hallucinations would go away. The result was a mental break down and she became overcome by sleep. Of course, in the morning she found herself in her room, and outside Raditzu was talking to King Kai. She was embarrassed, but decided to ask the long haired warrior to help her. She felt inferior to Goku and Burter, they were catching on quicker to Kaioken than she. So while everyone was asleep Raditzu did help her, though he was acting strange. He said something about having fun and train, and made to grope and touch her as she fought to stop him. She wanted to unlock the technique, so her sobered up and told her ?Plan B? which was to survive an attack by him, it could kill her. She managed to hold it off, and by doing so she finally unlocked Kaioken, but the blast still hurt her. That didn?t matter; she had finally done it, thanks to him.
Time passed an Android 18 mastered Kaioken. She practiced day in and day out working to get her body used to the strain. It was not long before King Kai decided it was time that she began learning the Genkai Dama. He taught her about the energies of all living things. By asking for the living beings around her to lend her their energy she could form the Genkai Dama. It took much longer than she had thought to master the technique. By teaming up with one of the others training with King Kai, they managed to defeat a demon in hell and successfully master the attack.
There was no more to learn from the blue Kai so she and Raditzu returned to Earth-Sei. After purchasing a Headquarters they both lazed around for days. It was no use in trying to persuade the Saiya-Jin into training with her. She did, however, catch wind of an upcoming tournament. The thought of killing other fighters, especially ones she hated, it motivated her. There was only one man she wanted to hurt, and that was Cell. Adroid-18 paid Baba to revive the creature that had killed her; she explained to him why she brought him back, simply for revenge.
She and Raditzu signed up at the building where they announced the tournament. There were a lot of people; some seemed more powerful than she. After the sign ups she decided to go to the Loading Platform. Raditzu had gone before her, so she was left to enter the strange Loading Platform alone. Teletubes were set up for everyone, so getting there was easy. Once she arrived she spent some time in a quiet corner of the platforms bar.
The ship was just as large as the platform had been. People mingled and talked, old enemies and friends alike met and discussed the tournament. It was called Dante?s Abyss, and apparently this was not the first. Android 18 met a few people, but it was only simple conversation. It was not long before the ship arrived at their destination. She was worried, everyone was to fight with just their armor and abilities, no items were allowed, even scouters. The planet they were to fight on was not very glorious. There were sections, each one was different. The android fought though, she wanted to win. With each life she ended the more cold she felt inside. She grew slightly maniacal, finding pleasure in killing the other competitors. By the third day she had killed a handful of people. She decided to contact Raditzu, she had not seen him since the sign ups. She grew angry, the though of him making plans behind her back made her blood boil. She would fight him too if she had to.
He came to her and they decided to take out the competition together. The killing was getting to her head, and although Raditzu persuaded her to let one fighter surrender, she almost annihilated one of their allies. In an attempt to lighten the mood the long haired Saiya-Jin shoved snow down his companion?s shirt, which resulted in a snow fight. Things were winding down, there were only a few fighters left. Android 18 craved another fight; she wanted to spill more blood. In her blood lust she even sucker punched Raditzu, which ended in laughter. It had been a week since they had arrived, and she felt good to be among the last few fighters.
The good feeling didn?t last long. Soon strange warriors took the last of the fighters and the android was knocked out. She awoke to find herself, as well as Raditzu, stuck in a prison on Frost. The whole thing had been a trap; the strongest survivors of Dante?s Abyss were stuck in some cell while the universe was being conquered. Would it ever end? Well, in due time they were saved and taken to Namek-Sei by a strange bird man names Tory. He let them in on the current war that was going on, and that if they chose to help, they could. It was then that 18 felt torn for the first time in a long time. She left the ship and distanced herself from everyone, what could she do? She wanted to help and save the universe, but a part f her wondered if the right choice would be to join the conquerors. The tournament had changed her; little by little she felt a darkness grow inside her.
Lost in her thoughts, apart from everyone else, she even left Raditzu behind. She had to find herself; she had to sort out the darkness that was festering inside her soul. She wandered the lands of Namek-Sei for a long time. Oftentimes she would even forget why she was there, and what she was doing. She didn?t even know how much time had passed, but the threat on the universe had come and gone. The day finally came where she knew she had to leave. She found a Capsule Cooperation shop and set out for Earth-Sei, she knew he would be there.
Typically he was in a tournament. She watched his fight, and when it ended she made her way to meet him in the back. No one could stop her. She charged into the long haired Saiya-Jin like a bull, and although she gave him the longest kiss she could manage (making up for lost time) she added in as knee to the gut for good measure. With everything said and done, he continued the tournament. She cheered him on, even though she was in dire need of a shower. She knew that his last fight would take time and after watching for some time and eating she decided to use the capsule he had given her and set up the Headquarters.
Having a shower for the first time in ages felt wonderful. She also replaced her battle worn attire with something better. She hoped that by the time she got back to him the tournament would be over, maybe they could spent some time together, no more fighting. That hope was short lived.
One minuet she was flying through the air, the next she was in some strange game show. Not exactly sure what was going on she listened to the man in charge, Brim. They were to find the reason behind the planets downfall, or something along those lines. To her surprise Raditzu was there as well, so she sought him out and stayed close. Eventually they were put into groups, and each group was given a map and told to go to a certain area. The group she was in was to investigate the Military Base. It was full of traps and dead bodies, but they did find some interesting things. However, there was a bomb at the bottom of the base. They tried to deactivate it, but it went off. The group was spilt up, and Raditzu was stuck in the form of a cat. Not sure what was going on, she continued on with her cat companion and another of their group. They defeated a strange monster in the cavern they had gotten into, and made their way to the surface.
They found a tower and ventured into it. Raditzu was still a cat; he had sporadically changed once or twice, but to no avail. At the top of the tower was an old man, he seemed to know things, and seemed wise. They were allowed to rest there and then told of some people that were living in the mountains. After their rest they decided to head to the hospital, apparently someone had come to see them, and then abruptly left for the hospital. The long haired Saiya-Jin had finally returned to himself, so he took the lead. The place was crawling with zombies. The android took off and began destroying them, but there were too many. Soon there was a rumbling which caught her attention; she ditched the undead creatures to find out what was going on out back. To her surprise there was a strange android figure there. Raditzu was fighting him, so she jumped in to help. He was too strong; he managed to give her a powerful hit that sent her flying back toward the building. She crashed into Raditzu along the way and struggled to get free from him as they crashed through the building.
She didn?t know why it happened, still doesn?t. Somehow Raditzu and the android fused into one being; Eightzu. She was no longer herself; the new android hybrid took care of the strange monster with ease. Once the creature was put out of commission though, everything seemed to stop, and the world went black.
It was another prison. Raditzu was fine; he was off talking with some pre-teen girl. She, on the other hand, was having a melt down. What was going on? Didn?t he want to talk about what had happened? She felt like the world was caving in around her. The prison cell was small, and she had to get out. She foolishly grabbed at the laser bars and cried to be released, but of course nothing happened. She was rendered into a huddled mess. She hadn?t even wanted to come here; all she wanted was to spend time with Raditzu.
Brim set up some battle arena, Raditzu and Vegeta began fighting within it. Lost in her own thoughts she tried not to worry about him. The young girl that he had been talking to interrupted her thoughts, she was worried. Apparent she was the daughter of Vegeta, and she didn?t want him getting hurt. What could 18 do? She explained that they could do nothing, and that she did love Raditzu, but nothing could come between a rivalry like that. Before the fight could end the power went out around them.
Demons came from every direction. She found Raditzu and he fixed himself up with a senzu bean. They and a few others took off down a corridor to get away from the fighting, but the system was active and guns shot down at them. To make matters worse a strange beast confronted them. The monster was defeated, but one from their group, Bardock, decided to ascend into an Oozaru. By using a false moon he and Raditzu began to change. They tore open the building and left it in ruins while 18 and the other fighter, Bojack, tried to get out of their way. Bardock was in frenzy. He smashed at the building and roared with fury. On the other hand, Raditzu announced the arrival of an army of zombies and proceeded to stomp on them like insects. They swarmed in and the android had no choice but to fight. The fighting seemed to go on for so long, there were too many of them.
A shot was heard and then a brilliant flash of light filled the area. The zombies fled while the wo Saiya-Jin shrunk down in size. They were baffled. Who had taken out he false moon, and where had that light come from? Their contemplations were cut short when another gunshot was fired. Bojack fell down dead, and no one moved.
The loss of their companion could not be dwelled upon. They moved onward toward the light. It was coming from the tower, and as they got closer they could see a gathering of figures. The android was confused; they were angles, but why here? She wanted to talk to her Saiya-Jin partner, but he was no where to be seen. Not one to mingle she decided to climb the tower and see the old man. She decided a rest and some cleaning up would be nice. There were other fighters here too, but most were outside talking to the angels. She was felt sad for some reason. Perhaps it was because she had been dragged into this game, perhaps because she wished she knew what was going through Raditzu?s head. He was always charging off somewhere, sometimes she felt like a bother.
As she toweled herself off the door to the room she was in opened. She knew it was him, and although he apologized and made to leave, she told him not to. Not sure what to say or what to do, she walked toward him and leaned against his strong chest. She pressed against him, wanting only for him to answer her, to tell her, to let her know that he loved her. The long struggle with her emotions and feelings for him ended with a kiss. He gave her the response she wanted, and the moment lingered. They kissed again, and she knew she had to have him then, she wanted him to make love to her. There was no turning back, and he was happy to oblige. It was the most painful, and pleasurable experience in her life. She had never known pleasure like that, and wouldn?t have wanted it with anyone but him.
When she awoke from the tumult of lovemaking he was gone. She would have had a fit before, but this time she let it go. After having another shower (for obvious reasons) she made to leave. Before she left she noticed a note had been imprinted into the metal door by the Saiya-Jin stating how wonderful she was and that he loved her. She was happier than she could remember. She left the tower and sought him out, but was surprised to see that he was near Vegeta and his daughter, as well as a few other people. She was nervous, unsure of how things would be between them, but to her relief he pulled her close into the shelter of one of his arms and mentioned something about a movie.
Things moved fast, but the end result was the same for everyone. Although it felt very real, Android 18 was trapped in a strange dream. Within in she was faced with Raditzu, and he was completely different. He explained that he had used her, and that she was weak. She could not believe it, but it felt very real. He hurt her and eventually tried to kill her, so many emotions assaulted her, and she just couldn?t understand why he was doing it. They had just made love, hadn?t they?
She awoke to find that it really had bee some strange dream. The old man had done it, perhaps it was a test. She was still mixed up about it, but Raditzu was there to comfort her, although she did not tell him about what she had seen. They decided to head to the town. People were going different ways, the old man explained that more demons were showing up around the area. Perhaps she and the Saiya-Jin could find something in the town.
What they found was a werewolf. They fought, not taking it seriously, and the android paid the price. The wolf man shredded her back and managed to leave a nasty gash on the right side of her cheek. Raditzu fought the monster while she distanced herself. She felt like a fool and now her companion may get hurt as well. More than one of the creatures came in for the fight. They fought together to defeat them, and when it looked like they had won, they relaxed. They celebrated too soon. The werewolf, now human, attacked them and managed to gash into her throat and end her life. Of course, she didn?t really die?
She was back on Earth-Sei, the game was over for her. A part of her was glad, but another part of her wondered what she could have done to prevent that attack. She found her way back to the Headquarters and ate before going to clean herself. It was then that she noticed the wounds she had endured. The mark was still etched onto her cheek, and it bothered her that it was still there. She was supposed to be perfect, now she was ugly?what would Raditzu say?
He was concerned, but she let him know she was fine. It would take time to get over the shock of being ?broken? but at least he cared. Things went on dully from there. They met up with a few people, namely Bojack, and Burter Jr. It had been decided that they would enter a small tournament, which was until Raditzu received a message from Vegeta-Sei. There was trouble brewing there, and he was needed, but she was welcome to come and so she did.
