Planets (Civilized)
#1
Planet Earth

Population: The majority of the inhabitants of Earth and humans. As the planet has advanced in the areas of science and technology, it has garnered the attention of some extra-terrestrial beings. Though the alien population is fairly small, it is still noticable.

Environment: Earth is home to one of the most diverse climates in the galaxy. It has everything from scalding deserts to frozen wastelands, to pleasant meadows. People have, in many areas, created more livable areas so that they can start settlements, but the harshest, most extreme enviroments are generally devoid of people.

Landscape: Most of the planet is covered in water, though there is a massive, central continent that is home to 90% of the planet's population. The other 10% reside on small islands that dot the ocean. There a couple of larger islands, home to more mentionable settlements, but they pale in comparison to the mainland.

Government: The larger cities of Earth are set up as city-states. Each one electing their own mayor and, generally, governing themselves. The mayors set up officers to help run the city and moderate relations with other cities and help keep the peace. Rarely do cities become hostile with each other, as each needs the other for trade. The planet has not seen a serious war in a long time.

Social Scene: The people of Earth are, generally, content to go about their daily lives, concerned primally with only themselves and those closest to them. Affairs beyond their immediate surroundings (ie: the city they live in) are generally of no concern, and events from other worlds are not worth mention.

Points of interest:

- Earth is home to Capsule Corp, the largest, single, intergalactic company in the universe. Their inventions can be seen, in some form or another, on almost every planet.
- Watched over by Guardian Dende and his assistant Mr. Popo.
- Home of the powerful mystic Baba.
- Kami resides within the Room of Spirit and Time, at the top of a large tower. The Room also contains the mystical Pendelum Room along with Korin's home within the tower itself, holding a storage of senzu beans.
- A large church has established itself somewhere in the western region of the mainland. This church is actually the secret base to the Moon Daggers guild.
- The eastern portion of the mainland holds one of the primary locations for the Paragon guild.

Planet Vegeta

Population: This is the home planet of the Saiya-jin race. Though it used to be home to a second race of beings known as Tuffles, the Saiya-jin decimated the weaker race on the night of a rare full moon. This conquest of the planet filled the saiyans with a sense of pride and superiority that has trickled down through the generations. While the saiyans, in general, can back up their boasts of power, their barks are far more annoying then their bites. There are many visiting races to Planet Vegeta, but few remain on the planet for long periods of time, since saiyan's history is plagued with territorial hostility.

Environment: Most of Vegeta is plagued with the same, monotonous climate. The sky is generally filled with clouds of some kind, leaving the entire plent in a state of quasi-darkness. Despite the cloud cover, it seldom rains, leaving most areas of the planet barren and dry.

Landscape: Almost in exact opposition to Planet Earth, most of Vegeta is covered by land. Large cliffs filled with caves and crags, last plains of rock, and deep, cavernous valleys make up the planet's scenery. Bodies of water are scarse, and most of the rivers are underground. The cities of the planet are generally located near water, keeping the larger settlements scattered and distant.

Goverment: True to form, the strongest rule on the planet of the apes. The Vegeta family line has ruled over the planet for generations, known across the planet for their strength and viciousness. The leader, King Vegeta, is one of the most powerful warriors to call the planet home. His son, Prince Vegeta, is respected by most saiyan's as the crown heir to the planet. The only way for rulers to change hand is to defeat the king in fair combat before a jury of selected judges. Through the prolonged reign of a single family line, the crown has become corrupted, giving way to many outbreaks of civil war. Since the major cities of the planet are so scattered, it is a difficult task for the roayl family to keep a noteworthy presence across the planet.

Social Scene: As state above, the corruption of the crown has led many inhabitants of the planet to rebel against any the tyranical monarchy. Despite this, however, the majority of the population still supports the king. After a recent survey of the population, the palace decided that 65% of the people supported the king, with 25% in opposition and 10% indifferent. Most of the planet's economy is designed to support the military. Those who are not actually in the army, run pubs, inns, and various shops that sell military life.

Points of Interest:

-Watched over by Lord Vine

-The royal capitol is famous for the "Full Moon Pub". Makers of the strongest liquor in the known galaxy.

-A full moon only occurs once every few hundred years on the planet Vegeta.

Namek

Population: Unlike many planets, the local population of this planet is comprised most of Namek-sei-jin, the planet's dominant species. Despite that, the planet sees a lot of tourism. The local customs and traditional rituals of the Namekians have remain largely intact and are often veiwed with awe. Namekians themselves, in general, respect their planet by maintaining peace and cultivating the land. Practicing peace, however, does not mean they are devoid of strength.

Environment: Whether the planet mimics its people or the people mimic their planet has be philosophied and theorized over and again, but none seem to have an adequate answer. Like the Namekians, Namek itself is peaceful and calm. Though storms are a rare sight indeed, they strike with an unprecidented ferocity. The norm for Namek, though, is an endless day brought about by the twin suns Namek orbits, giving the effect of a perpetual lazy summer afternoon.

Landscape: Water. Lots and lots of water. The planet Namek itself is not small, in the least, and the majority of its surface is covered in massive bodies of water. The land masses are smaller than continents found on Earth or Vegeta, but they are far more numerous. These masses, or islands, can range from mountains to flat plains and general house a number of small Namekian villages. The largest of the islands were granted to Capsule Corp to turn into space stations and more "modernized" cities for those visitng the planet.

Goverment: Unique to Namek is the almost indescribable link all native Namekians share. They work constantly for the greater good of the planet and have very little need for the structure provided by large governments. Throughout the planets, the Namekians settle into small villages, each village overseen by an elder. Despite the title, however, the elder is simply someone chosen to watch over the day-to-day activities and wields only as much authority as is absolutely necessary. The villagers instictively put themselves to the job they best fit, be it harvesting crops, tilling land, or training as protectors of the village.

Social Scene: In general, activities can be split into two groups: those for Namekians and those for non-Namekians. That's not to say that the people of Namek are bigots, but who would travel to a planet just so they could watch a bunch of green-skinned aliens planet some weird cabbages? Most of the non-farming activities happen in the larger settlements set up by Capsule Corp and other local businesses. Because of the concentration of tourist activity, though, the larger cities can be quite lively.

A mafia-esque organization, known as "The Bjorken," has recently moved to Namek. They were previously located on Frost, but after Frost, the person, had been killed, business went down, so they relocated to Namek. Shop is set up for the most part, but they are still getting used to the very different scene on Namek. The move is not known to all of Namek, but it is wearisome to those who are aware.

Points of Interest:
-The elder Guru is always willing to lend a helping hand to anybody. He and his bodyguards can teach you many things
-The larger cities of Namek are always bustling with things to do (Kila, Eractic, and Ja)
-The Bjorken mansion is based here.

Planet Arlia

Population: Arlia is not very densely populated, consisting of a race unique to the planet itself. Arlians are naturally large insectille creatures, similar to upright ants or flies. They have a variety of forms dependant upon their purpose to their hive culture.

Environment: A planet nearly forever in rain, Arlia is largely covered in canyons cut deep with rivers and lush, humid rainforests. The plant life is so overgrown that carnivorous plants have taken root, threatening anyone that wishes to traverse the planet itself. The plants are even able to use vines to strangle the life from their victims, snatching birds and other creatures, including flying Arlians, from the skies above the lush tropics. In the canyons, soldiers crawl from opening to opening for the hive, guarding themselves from intruders and other colonies of Arlians.

Landscape: There are only two big cities on Arlia, although they are more close to large colonies than true cities. There are a few small colonies which allow outsiders to stay in order to protect the true inner hives. The plant life compliments the natural jungle beasts in their aggression, leaving travelers to largely avoid the planet due to his inhospitable atmosphere.

Social Scene: Arlia, while never a place to openly accept foreigners, they are even more hostile now towards them. The planets hive mind has been linked as one central unit until recently, when one of the larger colonies known as Arlo began to gain influence and effectively cutting a portion of the primary colony off from the rest. The two colonies have grown to fight each other, with Arlo being lead by the a group of high borns known as the Dark Four. The original colony still supports their Queen, still being linked to her in every way.

Points of Interest:
- The lush jungle tropics of the planet are considered extremely dangers, able to extend vines to even snatch low flying Arlians from the skies.

- Arlo is the primary colony, lead by a group of Arlians known as the Dark Four: Gabrielle is their seductive leader, able to coerce you into sympathizing with her despite being a streamlined insect creature. For an insect, she manages to have an almost humanoid beauty in her structure, attracting mates from other planets while unable to actually procreate with them. Her brother is named Hercules, and he is the true might of the Dark Four. He is a large creature, born to be a strong arm to the Queen but one that gained indepence and chose otherwise. Jak is the most level headed of the group, being a smaller worker while Artimus is the most intellegent of the group. Gabrielle is the original Arlian to gain a sense of self awareness and a desire for indepence, which later spread to her brother through their hivemind. Soon after, she convinced Jak and Artimus to come to her side of things, and then the movement spread, creating the current civil war.

- Hiral is the largest colony on Arlia, run by the Queen herself from deep within the catacombs. She operates the entire planet through the interlinked hive mind they share, and desires to eliminate the desease of self awareness from her planet. She has spawned others that exist for the purpose of conveying her desires to the rest of the population and placed them in smaller King and Lord positions around Arlia itself. She creates hundreds of eggs every day, allowing the various Kings to fertilize them on a very strict schedule.

Mercy

Population: Mercy is a very diverse world, created through a large amount of trade in its location. Many of its inhabitants are very strong and a large number of mercenaries walk the domed cities of this planet looking for work. Outside of the domes, the planet's original inhabitants lurk the deserts, known as "Mershikali"

Environment: Mercy is in a binary star system at an edge of the galaxy near Frost #213. The winds are fierce and constantly create large sandstorms across the deserts that cover this planet, beating at the sides of the great domed cities inside. The planet is almost entirely under the scope of daylight, aside from a small sphere of darkness that seems to somehow cover a specific area of the planet near a great dropoff known as Illium's Shame. The great domed cities have managed to sustain their own atmosphere within the tops of the domes, able to control the weather with ease. Some of these might have a constant rain, while others are eternally dry.

Landscape: The planet is entirely covered in desert, feeding from the heat of the twin suns beating down on it. There are no rivers of any kind, and any water and moisture is entirely underground. It is said that in some of the caves in the rocky regions of the desert there are underground rivers, but the Mershikali guard these areas fiercely, refusing to give up these last locations of their homeland. In the deserts are large ranges of plateau. Great domes have been erected across the landscape, shutting out the desert and creating cities and tradeports inside. These domed cities have short range TPT systems to send you from one dome to another, while additionally there are gated openings to allow one to traverse the desert itself, although not recommended.

Goverment: The planet is lead by a large circle of trickery and political debate. While it is noted that the planet operates on a similar scale and shares its resources for the beneficial means of continuing life here, each dome has its own government. A few of them are governed by small groups of strong political figures from within the specific dome while some of the smaller domes are simply run as a form of trade town with a single mayor. In some of the more thuggish domes, crime lords hold power over the area and have been known to extract a tax and rule pretty ruthlessly, although none of the domes have ever gone to war with each other due to the necessity of each other. They prefer to keep their disagreements through political trickery and assassinations rather than tarnish their names or risk their men.

Social Scene: A large number of warriors congregate in the various domes along this planet, and their powers range from the pathetically weak seeking sanctuary from exile to a few that would view something like Super Saiyan 2 to be a "cute" aesthetic improvement. A large number of domes are run in a sort of martial law style by crime lords while others might be a bit more friendly in the open with a coercive form of political intrigue. Nothing is ever what it seems here, and they will take extra measures to implant a tracking and communications device into your brain to allow them to contact you in the event of work. These devices will allow them to simply terminate you if you decide to terminate a contract that you have agreed to. These are not always monitored once they are put in, however, and a few cases have involved some of the more lone wolf fighters having had them removed when they were between jobs.

Points of Interest:

- The planet has two suns. The larger sun is called "Liali" while the smaller is called "Illium".

- A small sphere of darkness seems to always align itself over a sharp canyon dropoff known as Illium's Shame in the rocky regions of Mercy's desert. Noone understands how the twin suns never manage to touch this location, and myth surrounds it.

- For Reference: Epiphany

- Mercy is home to the Corporate Headquarters of Yggdrasil - the warrior's guild. It is located with the dome of Jolic. The guild itself controls this domes actions and sometimes uses its warriors to maintain a form of organization throughout the city. This has given the city a militant feel.

- Another dome, known as Ampar is lead by a ruthless group of petty thieves known as the Trallus Syndicate. While the city would lead you to believe that the creature known as Treven runs it, the Trallus Syndicate ultimately has full reign through the useage of threats or bribes whenever they feel a certain course of action must be taken.

- The dome of Shiste is the home to a large amount of Shisteka, a group of reptillian creatures that are native to a nearby waste planet called Shitol. While they are able to survive in the harsh environment of their radiated planet, most other races are unable to survive without protective gear, thus forcing them to establish a location here for the sake of communication. It is believed the the city is controlled by a singular figure that is replaced routinely by the mother planet.

- Perhaps the smallest dome on Mercy, Mycos is a bit of a salvage city if anything. A man known as Akatosh could be considered the leader here, although in reality he is nothing more than a respected figure amongst the group located here. This dome earns its location by supplying the other domes with various goods recovered from space debris and traded by newcomers. They are hardly concerned with the reasons that someone would want an item, and will sell it with little to no hassle. Many smugglers and mercenaries alike tend to visit this city when they are in need of ship repairs.

- The dome of Peren is located near Jolic at the outer edge of the Mershikali territory where they are constantly attempting to communicate with the desert people in hopes of purchasing more of their land. The reality is that they do not have the manpower to simply take these lands from them, as everytime they enlist the aid of the warriors of Jolic, a large number of the warriors simply never return. Those that do return usually do so in such a state of desert fatigue that they simply have no memory of what had happened.

Frost Planet #213

Population: The races that populate #213 are almost as diverse as those who populate Planet Mercy. Most of the people on this fairly small planet were attracted by the promise of fame and glory from Frost himself. As such, its not the nicest collection of people in the galaxy.

Environment: Using technology developed during the attacks on Planet Earth and Namek, #213 is kept in a state of constant winter, complete with frozen over bodies of water and regular snowstorms. Diversity is not a big issue here.

Landscape: The only difference in landscapes on this planet is whether its snow, ice, or rock. There are several mountain ranges, and valleys, but most of the planet is on fairly flat ground.

Goverment: Frost Planet #213 was originally under the sole rule of the Changeling Lord Frost. Since his demise at the hands of the two changeling princes, Koola and Furiza, the planet's leadership has changed hands. Though many inhabitants of the planet prepared for things to slip into a chaotic anarchy, there was very little change. Day-to-day operations continued as they always had and there were no serious impacts upon the government or the economy. A group of several of the more influential figures within the Frost administration took it upon themselves to regulate the workings of the planet. The shockingly smooth transition from a single ruler to an Oligarchy has some convinced that it had all been preplanned.

Social Scene: Similar to Earth, those on the Frost planet are generally only concerned with their immediate surroundings and their own personal gain. Everyone works with an almost disturbing synergy, compounding their productivity and efficiency. Though there are several exceptions to this, there are rarely the kinds of disruptions found on planets like Vegeta or Mercy; even despite the rumors of a planned coup, people continue their work so long as their check's in the mail. The general person gives very little for who's name is on said check as long as it doesn't bounce.

Additionally, the guild known as the Paragon Agency has been rumoured to have their own establishment on the outskirts of one of the minor cities. While not publically proven, many underground warriors will attest to the truth in this.

Points of Interest:

- The new Oligarchy is referred to as the "Frost Council"

- Without Frost, the planet lacks a single 'guardian' figure

- The Paragon guild has a large base here.

Planet Kajin Rala

Population: The population has a variety very similar to that of Mercy-sei. A large number of Changelings have begun to come here for their interest in new planets, while humans have found this planet to be a way to either start a new life or as a center of trade. Saiyans like the danger factor that is in the wildlands, while androids are simply impartial. Everyone has flocked to this new location from every planet. Arlians, Gaeans, races from every corner are here.

Environment: The planet has the largest variety of atmosphere seen in most planets. For the most part, this planet is what would be called a "Gaia" class planet, meaning that it is above Terran norms for its adjustments to the environment. Everything is natural, not predetermined, and yet flows perfectly.

Landscape: The planet is the largest planet to date. It is massive, nearly 12 times the size of Earth. The planet is covered in a variety of landscapes from mountain ranges to beautiful rivers. Nearly the entire planet is a beautiful thriving environment, with little in the way of harsh environment, and is home to a large number of wild creatures.

Goverment: The entire planet is governed by a large council of 252 members. Nearly every race in the known galaxy is represented, and the wishes of the four founding members are very respected. They will treat the four founding members the same as any other council member, no more, no less. A human female known as Allyra has been deemed the "Head of Council". She is the representative from Altered, Inc., and has been very wise in any decisions that she has had to bring forward to the council.

Social Scene: The people of this planet have a variety of interest. Some of them are here to sight see and tour the new planet, while others simply move here to be left alone. Others see business opportunity or a new method of meeting strong warriors. Most are very interested in the goings on of the planet, although some prefer to hide themselves away in the lush environment that covers it.

Points of Interest:

- The Council Home, where the information pertaining the planet is organized, is located in its own massive building in the center of Halcyon, the largest city on Kajin Rala. The building itself was built by Capsule Corporation in agreement with Altered, Inc.

- Between Serenity and Halcyon is a large bowl shaped structure, similar to a gladiator pit. This structure is several stories deep, and is where the 252 members of Council gather in their attempt at having their own say in what happens on the planet. Known as Eternity, this structure is surrounded by four statues of the original founders. They are all looking into Eternity, eternally observing all that happens within. The statue of Reijin overlooks the Eastern side, while the memorial to Raditzu lies to the North. Opposite it is an homage to Koola, while the Western side is guarded by Kami. Additionally, a clear dome of energy can at any moment cover the structure in a dome shape to protect it from the elements or even attack. Finally, the energy shield can shift to an opaque and soundproof frequency if the matters within are held in the utmost secrecy.

- Altered Inc. has made its business headquarters outside of the city of Serenity in the northern hemisphere. They have shown no signs of strange action, and have been the most courteous at helping the planet to thrive. They have stated that in order for their business to prosper, their business interest, the planet itself, must indeed prosper.

- Many strong warriors have arrived on Kajin Rala from around the universe to achieve various goals. They have registered with the Council as Sensei, and have agreed that they will assist in the defense of the planet should it be necessary.

- Useage of energy has been forbidden while on the planet without the written permission of the Council. They only allow Sensei that they deem wise enough that permission, and have issued that permission to noone else. Only a Sensei's student is allowed to use any form of energy manipulation, and only when expressly permitted by the Sensei, who will be held accountable for all of the student's actions by the Council.

- Noone is allowed to land a ship on the planet itself. Everyone is required to dock their ship at the orbiting space stations controlled by Altered, Inc. There, you will be immediately escorted to a sterilization chamber where you are cleansed of any possible desease that could be brought onto the planet, and you are also painlessly fitted with a surgical clamp that will connect to your spine at the base of your neck. This core is nearly indestructible, and will cause you no problems other than to prevent you from being able to connect with your Ki, magical power, or any other excessive abilities you may possess. You will find that you cannot Shapechange as long as this block is in place, along with being stranded in one corporal form for creatures that are naturally unstructured, such as the elastic creatures created by Majin wizards. These cores may be disabled to allow you access to your power as long as a Sensei is willing to train you and accept responsibility for your actions as mentioned above. These cores must be deactivated by returning to Halcyon to recieve your written permission to use your abilities.

- The planet is an artificial one created through a dragonball wish from Kami, Reijin, Raditzu, and Koola. A long time has passed as the planet has been in the process of terraforming to change it from a chunk of desolate rock to a planet overflowing with a large amount of variety. After the creation of the planet, Reijin found himself contacted by a company that was newly established on Mercy-sei known as "Altered, Inc." The agreed to terraform the planet in exchange for being granted the right to establish their headquarters there in order to place their company in the best business location possible.

- The planet is on amazingly good terms with everyone as it has proven to be benificial to everyone, and is somehow held in the highest respects by any associated with it.

- The planet's security is the best in the galaxy, with top notch surveillance that still offers a great level of privacy. Any problems are always dealt with swiftly, and no form of "rule by terror" has even been felt.
