Forever burning

Though I stood and stared
the fire raged.
My heart dull to the heat,
my mind free of the rage,
one thing drove though my mind.
Family.

A flicker of panic.
Feet moving faster then every,
at the door to the rooms, calling.

Groggyness and dazed,
people move out.
It's growing thick.
Gotta focus to see.

It's nothing serious,
or so I say.
Everyones out,
but it's cold and damp.

Stupidity reigns over my mind.
Me and my bro dash inside.
Shoes are grabbed and thrown outside

Cat's are unsure, we grab them.
Out in flash,
like the blue sirens coming around the corner.

Uncertainity.
Numbness.
Nothing hits till fifteen minutes later.

You stare down at the damage.
A pissing cable.

So much panic and fury..

Over a god damned cable..

One small thing..
Nearly risked my life and home.
