FORUM RULES

1.) No spamming. If a discussion strays too far beyond the intended topic, or becomes Asylum conversational, it’s not welcome here. This board is to communicate on subjects that are related to the IC of Chubbs, period. Keep it relevant, people.

2.) No. Flaming. Ever.

C&C REGULATIONS

1.) If you’re going to give constructive criticism and comments, be as helpful and specific as you possibly can, avoiding short, two sentence compliments like “this is really good” or “you’re a great writer” and the classic “this sucks.” Be able to support your C&C with excerpts from the passage you are reviewing, especially with criticism.

2.) When asking for C&C on your role-plays, or posting a saga/quest discussion, please provide a link to said thread and/or forum for easier access.

3.) Please limit the amount of feedback you request. Commentary cannot be given on every single role-play you post.

4.) When asking for C&C, please be as specific as possible in what aspects you want people to look at (e.g., plot, flow, character development, word choice, etcetera). The commentator is still free to throw in anything they may notice, and you can also add, “and anything else you think I did well/could improve upon.” This will help to give you effective C&C and better focus on your weak and strong areas, and reinforce avoiding bland comments prohibited by Rule #3.

This includes staff as well. We are expected to set an example and act in a professional manner. Responding in a professional matter and defending yourself is fine; responding with a flame towards the person is not. Nor is calling them a name.
