Weighted Clothing – 1,000 zeni - Other - This item is designed to help a warrior train. Because this clothing can be somewhat encumbering it has the unintentional side effect of making your Combat Ability appear lower than it actually is by 20%. This can be worn under normal clothing or armor.
Is there a practical application to the weighted clothing other than the 20% CA suppression? Does it actually increase training efforts in any way?

Other than CA suppression, it provides no other statistical advantage.

So this means what, on your roster page your CA would appear 20% lower? Or you just roleplay it as such?

RP it as such.

So for people with Dark Ki, Weighted Clothing is useless?

Pretty much.

What is it for, then? If it only makes your CA appear lower, why spend money on it? You could just RP having your power level low at all times and get the same effect.

Ki Sense and, arguably, upgraded scouters can determine your full CA, whether or not you're trying to suppress your ki.
It's largely for flavor. If you don't want it, don't buy it.
