I was specifically referring to making your own Node. Just to be clear. Not volunteering Mario's Node as open or anything

The actual Region descriptions I'll finish myself. I'll probably get to it on my next day off. Came up with an idea for a saga, too, actually, but I need to muster up the energy to actually run it.

As much fun as it would be to create my own 'Node', I just don't think that creating MORE RPGs is a good idea right now. If we can't be active in one, I don't know how we can expect to be successfully active in three. I think it would make more sense to focus our manpower (both members and staff) on one successful venture. Personally, my attention will be on Anyria when/if we get some momentum on it. What Mario HAS done so far, has been awesome.

I was filtering through the Anyria forums at the airport today and, slowly, I started thinking about possible characters and writing in that little world. So, if anyone is interested in doing a little slow-paced writing over there, feel free to PM me. I'd prefer someone who won't get discouraged by a slow-pace and drop out, also. I find that when writing with other people at a slow-pace, it's easy for one party to get bored and discouraged and lose interest, and then the other party is stuck writing their own business and wrapping up the others, and then that's too much and they, too, lose interest. So, yeah.
Also, whoever wrote that the site's stagnation was and is being caused by the member base maturing is absolutely correct. The different stat systems and worlds and too much or too little staff control over those worlds is ultimately irrelevant. We're not teenagers without anything to do anymore. We can't just come home from high school or college and sit around, play video games, check Chubbs and write anymore. We have jobs, or are in college, or are in grad school, or have some other serious responsibility (looking at you military folks), and we also have friends and girlfriends and all that other business. The problem with Chubbs, i think, is that everyone looks at this place remembering and wanting what it used to be, when we were younger, but at the same time knows that they can't do that anymore. If we want Chubbs to be moderately successful as a writing site, we need to create a system that caters to our busier schedules and more current mentalities, not a system that would have worked five, six years ago. How we do that, I have no idea.

I'm totally willing to write. I write still. I write SLOWER now between work and other activities like PLAYING VIDEO GAMES CONSTANTLY, but I still write and I'd still enjoy writing with some of the people on the site.

I'll be painfully honest about this. Personally, the reason I haven't been able to really get into Anyria is because no one has taken the lead.

I'm with Alex. Life got in the way, I guess, is the number one 'problem.'
I'd also still like to do something casual, if I could, but also don't know what that something would be.

Had an exceptional bad week. Still intend to do stuff for Anyria, but life stuff is taking precedence, at the moment.
No, the irony of the last few posts before this is not lost on me.
