?Ok this has gone on long enough.? Android 18 said and stepped forward. The two Saiya-Jin had been locked in a staring contest but now looked at her. ?You fight me, now, and this ends, or you surrender and leave.? She crossed her arms. The older Saiya-Jin looked at Raditzu and the long haired warrior shrugged. ?This has to get wrapped up, I have things that need done.? She tapped her foot and awaited a response.

OOC: Short I know but just to get the point across. Rad will be gone, so you can fight me or you can just surrender. If we fight we can just get right into the fight. I wanna finish this, I?d like DA to end soon so we can all have a break lol.

Thinking.

Not really his strong suit.

Did it matter?

Hell no.

Bardock took his attention off of his son. Android 18 was less powerful than Raditzu, but still more than a match for the likes of a low-class soldier. It didn't matter. He was going to die anyway. It would have been poetic irony at the hands of his own flesh and blood, but Bardock didn't much care how he went. It seemed a bit sad how suicide was programmed into his primitive brain.

"Ladies first," Bardock motioned, undaunted by her assertiveness. The android walked quickly and confidently out of the bunker, the older Saiyan following in her wake. Raditzu tagged along to watch his girlfriend in action. Nobody held any reservations of what was going on; it was still to be a quick kill, but the blond was less likely to toy around. She seemed more anxious to get the job done.

The stage was set, the final act was coming to a close. Soon the curtains would be drawn. The adrenaline rush was so invigorating, no drug ever concocted could even come close to such a high. Bardock smiled. He was just a stupid crazy bastard, and he didn't even care.

"Let's hurry this along. No games," Android 18 insisted. Bardock gave a slight nod. He was already ready.

"I'll do my best not to disappoint you," Bardock quipped, cocky even in the face of sure death. The least he could do was give it his all...the respect shown to a superior fighter. The black haired fighter could never allow himself to be shamed in such a manner. His aura was summoned in a flash of brilliant light. All else was put behind him. His focus was to the here and now. The woods around them were so silent, you could hear the rythmic beating of anxious hearts. It was that moment...the moment just before a cataclysmic battle. Perhaps in this instance it was mere exaggeration, but nonetheless it carried the same potency of emotion--at least on one side. Time slowed down. Android 18 drew in a breath. Bardock's eye twitched slightly in anticipation, a subconscious reflex he could not control. And then it began.

Bardock came hard and fast from the left, a bold move unto itself. The opening was fairly predictable; he had yet to learn the importance of variety. Android 18 instantly recognized the attack before he was even halfway there. It was the same ice breaker he used on Raditzu. So disappointing. Instead of moving to the side, however, she opted for a more direct approach. A delicate right arm came under the punch, fingers firmly grasping the torqued muscles. The follow-up was basic enough. Bone, flesh, and something more came baring down on Bardock's shoulder in the form of a painful straight arm punch. The arm almost instantly popped out of its socket. Nerve impulses were far faster than his own perception to understand what had just happened. Unpleasant sensations of pain flooded his upper body as he stumbled backwards, howling in frustration and anger. The left side of his body drooped awkwardly, an obvious indicator of the damage. The lessons most valuable were the hardest learned. Never become transparent.

Bardock cursed openly as the feminine fighter looked on apathetically. No words were exchanged. This was not a test of ego, this was purely business. The Saiya-jin looked up directly into those cold blue eyes with fire reflecting in his own. A sickening crunch followed as he reset the arm, cheeks visibly showing a clenched jaw against the added pain. He calmed himself down, at least knowing how important it was to keep his rage in check. Bardock exhaled loudly, and was gone again. He reappeared directly in front of his adversary once again, but this time with an added surprise. She had little difficulty following his movements. Although he had the benefit of age, it did not necessarily permit him the experience nor the skill than Eighteen possessed. Bardock jumped over her in a twisting layout, firing off an energy blast in the process. She moved, a little slower than she would have liked. The edge of the Ki caught her on her left shoulder, a minute dose of vengeance. Upon re-entry to the earth's surface, he whirled around with a swift elbow hook. She brought up her own to counter it. They both were back-to-back, necks craned to see the other with their forearms shaking in effort to give no quarter. The Saiyan could sense she was holding back; she shouldn't be having any trouble with him. Sure, her opening counter was painful, but it was not nearly as devastating as it should have been. He couldn't sense her true power, because she did not give off the same signature as most fighters did, but he knew. He could tell.

It was a game of chicken, and Bardock backed out first. He swerved to the side opposite his elbow in hopes to catch her off-balance. She concentrated enough force and momentum forward that he was able to luck out with a slight imbalance of weight when what she was leaning on moved. A turning right haymaker found its mark on the side of her face. Eighteen was forced to the ground, but by no means was she at a disadvantage. An available hand stopped her descent, and, in a remarkable contortion of her body, was able to retaliate. By using her outermost leg, she was able to push off the ground for a lopsided cartwheel kick. Two heels dealt Bardock a pair of nasty kicks that cut him under the chin, knocking him flat on his back. One must admire someone with both technical merit and a sense of creative flare. Android 18 landed firmly on her soles and whipped up into a standing position. Bardock fired two blasts from a reclined position. She knocked them both away, her focus slightly shifted. Slight was sometimes enough. The old Saiya-jin ignited his hands, and before she was ready to face another attack, he was right on top of her.

"RAUUGHHHH!!" he roared, fist barrelling towards her stomach. She quickly put her hands together and lowered them in a defensive block, successfully averting the attack. The force of the punch didn't hurt, but the flames that lanced outward from their generator burned. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad had it been anywhere else, but some of the most sensitive nerve endings of the body lay embedded in the fingertips, augmenting the negative feeling. The clever girl landed a nice crescent kick to the side of Bardock's head to pay him back. Bardock was flung sideways, the flames of his Explosive Fists dying along with his brief comeback. His body bounced and skidded along the swampy surface of the forest before coming to a halt. His vision was blurred, and it felt like the entire world was spinning. She meant business, especially when it came to troublesome attacks like that. They weren't detrimental, just annoying. But if Bardock couldn't cause any real damage, he intended to be as much of a pain in the ass as possible.

OOC: I hoped I didn't screw up your character too bad. What say 1-2 more posts each, with you getting your intro in? Would that be quick enough and still be able to make things interesting?

Unfortunately, the Saiyan never got his damage. He had leapt back, laughing, and had begun to charge a fierce energy bolt, when he suddenly vanished from view...

...appearing in the Main Arena. Pan stood ten feet away, blind, but with a determined look upon her face.

OOC: I?m glad I didn?t start writing or I?d be kicking your ass Rei.

Android 18 stood with clenched fists as the Saiya-Jin suddenly disappeared from sight. He never returned, and this caused her to stare quizzically at her companion not far behind. The long haired warrior shrugged and the android sighed. ?I guess we?ll have to find someone else to fight.? She said and looked around herself. She raised a hand and began fiddling with the scouter that she had on her head. With it she could see all who were still in the tournament, and surprisingly, not many were. ?Bah let?s go to the bunker until we can think of something.? She and Raditzu made their way back to the bunker they had previously visited and tried to decide what to do next.

OOC: Rad and I have entered the northern bunker in area C. There isn?t much to do cuz most people are in fights ;-;.
