[8] Group Angels - Watchtower
#1
Quote:20. Olibu
23. Reijin
3. Kami
25. Uub

9. Cell

6. Android 17

The four warriors step out of the tower with Akira and Katel to meet the army of angels around the watchtower. You can interact with them.

Cell is coming towards the tower with Doctor Flagg.

Android 17, attracted by the light above the tower, is also headed this way, in similar gear that Reijin's group took. Armor, rifles, everything.

Gabriel is still above the tower, as if possessed. He will only say "War is coming. Get ready."

OOC: This rp includes a lot of information about the Bio-Android Saga, a saga that preceded Friend or Foe 2. Enjoy.

Android Seventeen and Alexander had been traveling for about an hour when the white light suddenly materialized in the sky in the horizon. Both human and android shielded their eyes against the intensifying light as they tried to identify the strange, new light. The machine-hybrid was weary, his stomach was growling and his throat was parched. Deep down inside, however, the cybernetic warrior knew that he could not rest until this asteroid was liberated from Brim?s grip. Without words, the two men started rushing towards the intensifying illumination. They arrived near the base of a massive stone tower, bathed in the light above it, in a matter of seconds. By the time they arrived the fields were filled with warriors. Each of them was clad in white armor, complemented with a flowing white robe that hid most of their face. The radiance that each of them emanated was almost too much for the android?s mortal eyes to withstand.

?Here, wear this friend,? Alexander passed something to Seventeen, but what it was exactly was unknown to the machine-hybrid. It looked like a scouter for the most part, but the cybernetic warrior could tell that it was far more advanced then the device he had used since the CIA invasion. The piece of equipment slid smoothly over the android?s hair and fit comfortable over his ears. Pulling his hair up and laying it over the back of the device, Android Seventeen pressed a button on the side of the apparatus. Instantly, an uncountable number of informational text boxes filled the emerald screen. Gawking at the overwhelming influx of intelligence about the key fighters in the area, Seventeen deactivated the visor.

Eying the crowd, several more questions filled the machine-hybrid mind. The most important question was why had a massive army of armored and robed fighters suddenly appeared from seemingly nowhere? As secretive as they all seemed, many had shed their snow-white robes and were conversing with each other. Alexander stood next to Android Seventeen, and from the look on his face, the android knew he was pondering the same questions. Holstering his energy rifle, the cybernetic warrior started to walk towards the massive watchtower when a very familiar voice called out to him. With a slight grin on his face, the machine-hybrid turned around to greet one of his allies from before Friend or Foe?the fallen angel, Leo.

?I did not expect you to make a personal visit to Kala,? Android Seventeen with a sarcastic smirk, ?last I heard the threat from Android Byrk was over. Paige told me he was sucked into Hell where he belongs,? the fallen angel simply laughed at his mortal acquaintance?s wit. Stepping closer to the machine-hybrid, Leo placed his hand on Seventeen?s forehead.

?It is time you are educated about what happened on Earth while you were off playing on this dingy rock,? with those words, the android?s vision was lost to him, replaced by the most coherent visions he had even seen.

Byrk was standing next to the nexus of energy he had summoned, and all of the demons were still slowly pouring free from the depths of hell. Vapor was there, the same bio-android that had escaped from Seventeen all those days ago. He wore several scars from his confrontation with the machine-hybrid, but the smile on his face was what really antagonized Android Seventeen. These events must have taken place after the machine-hybrid and his associates fled the scene, because Crush was nowhere to be seen.

?The day is ours, Master,? the triclops informed his giant of a leader, ?not even Leo, the namekian, or that foolish android could prevent your final victory,? Bryk was grinning, but then something strange happened that no one truly understood. The gray giant walked over to bathe in the flow of demonic energy, but the portal started to react violently to his presence as he neared it. An immense gravitational pull tugged at the bio-android, staggering him and nearly dragging directly into the vortex. Bryk?s power soared, but even with his great physical strength, he only managed to escape after losing a part of him. With a scream, the bio-android took a mighty step away from the portal, and his entire right arm was torn clean away, the stream of blood that escaped was fed directly into the fluctuating portal.

Vapor, who had leapt away the second the gateway started to tug on his leader, watched on as the entire demon army was sucked back into the depths of Hades. Some of the soldiers tried to fight to their freedom, but they all would succumb to the power dragging them back. Those who fought too much would slowly be torn to pieces as the pull proved more then they could handle. Even Vapor?s mighty leader was now being dragged along the ground towards the sizzling, red sphere. With eyes wide with disbelief and fury, the fallen titan, still trying to claw away from the powerful force pulling him in, gave one final order to his traumatized lieutenant.

?The calculations were all wrong! You must collect the Eye and activate the northern portal before our window closes forever!? Vapor watched as his leader was consumed by the swirling crimson orb. The structure itself was now beginning to feel the effects of the reversed portal. Rock, plaster, and steel were being liberated and devoured by the fluctuating vortex. Vapor turned to face a giant split in the weakening structure, and without a look back, the bio-android?s form shattered. Bryk?s lieutenant reverted into his gaseous form in order to escape from the carnage. The triclops reformed in the sky above his former home and watched as the entire building collapse into itself. Sound was lost as the massive structure imploded, leaving behind nothing but a massive crater. The bio-android had his orders, and he was not about to betray his master.

Android Seventeen wasn?t too certain, but he could have sworn that he saw a tear escape from the bio-android?s eye before he disappeared. Maybe in another life the machine-hybrid could have met Vapor as an ally, but his cowardice alone was reason enough for Seventeen to not respect him. On top of that, the monster had taken the lives of countless innocents, and the cybernetic warrior would not let something like that go unpunished. The scene came to an end, and Leo?s hand went back to his side.

?What happened to Vapor?? Seventeen asked the fallen angel. Before he could answer, Leo was cutoff by another very familiar voice.

?He is here on Kala,? the android spun just as soon as the woman?s sentence was over. Paige and Android Seventeen smiled at one another for a brief moment before they darted forward and met in an embrace. Even though he had talked to her mere hours ago, Paige?s presence alone was enough to excite the android. Seventeen wanted to hold the woman in his arms for as long as he could, but Leo cleared his throat rather loudly?the international sign for ?I actually have something important to say?. The machine-hybrid, with an arm around Paige?s shoulders, turned to face the fallen angel.

?Paige is correct, our latest reports indicate that Vapor arrived here a few hours ago, probably at dawn,? the word dawn made the cybernetic warrior wonder if Vapor had been the shadowed figure who had ambushed him near the Production Building.

?Why are you all here then?? Seventeen asked, ?Something to do with all these guys?? Pointing to the large army behind him, the android was eager for an answer. Leo cleared his throat, and then continued his explanation.

?Well you see, Paige and I aren?t true angels, like the warriors Gabriel has gathered here,? Seventeen raised an eye at that remark. The robed and armored figures around the tower were angels! Such a revelation was one the android felt silly for not realizing earlier, but this new bit of information raised several more questions that needed to be answered.

?Leo and I aren?t true angels,? Paige declared, ?we weren?t created along with the heavens like the angels you see amassed her. Instead, we were both mortals once, and upon our deaths we were reborn again as whitelighters. Both of us have spent our afterlives watching over our charges,? Seventeen gave Paige a strange look, and she seemed to read his mind, ?yes?unfortunately you are my current charge,? the android grinned and shoved the redhead away. She just chuckled and walked over to Leo. The both of them suddenly became very serious.

?Android Seventeen, both Paige and I are going to scour this asteroid for Vapor,? the cybernetic warrior went to protest but was quickly silenced by the two, ?you must stay here and assist Gabriel and the other living Friend or Foe competitors against the evil that seeks to consume Kala, and it is a possibility that Vapor may use this confrontation to sneak around. If so, you must do everything in your power to prevent him from finding this ?Eye? that he is searching for,? both whitelighters suddenly vanished in their normal grandeur before Android Seventeen could bother to comment. The android, frustrated about the bio-androids not being defeated, tried to locate the human from the Storage Facility.

Alexander must have been watching and listening to the entire conversation, because he was standing only feet away with a puzzled look on his face. The cybernetic warrior shrugged his shoulders and turned to look at the wastelands that stretched forever in all directions. With his battle visor activated, the android attempted to scan the horizon for any power signatures that might be approaching, but he couldn?t detect anything?living or dead. Seventeen jabbed the blade of the avatar into the ground and leaned on the hilt. He wasn?t so much tired as he was simply ready for a break in all this chaos, but as much as he hoped, he knew that as soon as he escaped Kala?if he escaped this hellhole?he would have to deal with Vapor, Byrk, and the demons they planned to unleash. One of the angels walked over to the machine-hybrid and had a long, hard look at the elaborate sword.

?So you are the one they accidentally unleashed one of the avatars upon? You look pretty rugged, it is a testament to your ability that you endured that challenge,? he said softly. The celestial being seemed to behave like a normal person, so then what made angels so different then normal human beings? And where did Paige and Leo exactly fit into this divine hierarchy?

?Yea?that was me,? the machine-hybrid muttered after a long pause, ?you got any more of that fancy armor?? With an overabundance of pleasure, the angel snapped his fingers and manifested a white, ornate plate of armor. Android Seventeen bowed to the heavenly being and removed his chest strap for his energy rifle. Discarding the ugly, brown leather, the cybernetic warrior slid the armor over his chest and was filled with an unnatural feeling of warmth. Although he doubted the metal would offer any real protection during battle, it made Seventeen feel like he was part of something far grander.

OOC: Anyone may rp me as they see fit. For those who want to, Seventeen is pretty calm and collected at the moment, lucid, almost.

Rotten cartilage snapped beneath her knuckles, while flesh gave way to bare bone. The army of undead swarmed around her with their dark soulless eyes and garbled words. She ripped through them with every ounce of speed and strength; if she faltered they would converge upon her and inflect more damage than was needed. Raditzu and Bardock had reverted to their original form, much to their dismay. For some reason her long haired companion had felt it necessary to prop her on his shoulder while she had been fighting, it had caused some confusion when the moon had been shot out. Luckily she did not weigh very much. Now they were all on equal footing, the zombies could no longer be easily squashed or toss. She did have to admit, upon seeing the mass amounts of undead from Raditzu?s shoulder when he was Oozaru, their advantage had been a great help. Now she fought with likely twice the amount of zombies against her, and she was slowly growing weary. She let loose another Final Flash, letting it tear through her enemies and fill the air was a putrid smoke, but alas, they were replaced by more of the foul reincarnations.

Suddenly her eyes became seared by a light beyond any she had ever witnessed. She let out a yell and forced her palms against her eyelids, trying to block out the sudden invasion of her vision. Wailing filled her acute hearing, and she struggled to squint through the spaces of her digits. She made out the forms of her undead adversaries scrambling away from the light. It surrounded them and obviously caused them pain. She felt them pushing against her in their flight, while she stood dumbfounded. What light was this? Where was it coming from? The crying died off, the zombies no longer within the vicinity. The light dulled down, but she could see a radiance flaring upward in the distance. She rubbed her eyes, letting them adjust to the sudden change in brightness. She turned and headed toward the now partially destroyed building. Bojack, Bardock, and Raditzu had the same idea. She had it out with the elder Saiya-Jin, and then left it at that. She was too tired to inflict more than a punch, so she became distant as Raditzu struggled with his pants.

She approached her companion, wanting to talk, just for once. As she opened her mouth, ready to form the words, a loud sound rang out around them. Raditzu leapt against her and pulled her to the ground, the sound was that of a gun. He was back to his feet while he and his father tried to find the source of the intrusion. Eighteen slowly got to her feet, giving a rather stupefied look at her surroundings. Had that been aimed at her? She saw Bojack?s form upon the ground, for a moment her thoughts grew silent. He was not getting back up; this was the end for him. His body left the ?game world? and left the group to a trio. Her gaze fell upon the two Saiya-Jin, it seemed that they were about to leave, Raditzu was studying the map. Suddenly he pointed toward the distance.

?Alright, Group XTREME? let?s move out!? He said as his mannerism?s seemed to have been rejuvenated. She stared at him with a blank expression, where were they going? She looked toward the direction, seeing the telltale signs of light touching the heavens. While she and the scarred warrior had been distracted Raditzu had taken it upon himself to grab a hold of them and teleport to their destination.

The android stared in disbelief. Was this another experiment gone wrong? She raised her fists in defense. Raditzu had teleported them into a group of winged figures, they resembled angels. Although she did not know the situation, she had a sense of goodness from them. She lowered her fists. So they had caused that sudden flash of light? If so, these creatures had done the trio a good bit of help. She took in her surroundings a little more. It seemed that they had arrived at the watchtower again, was the old man still here? A nice rest might be in order, maybe if she could clean up too. She turned on the others, only to see that they were now within the crowd of majestic beings. She sighed; her hand rose to rub against her brow. Screw them.

The android made her way past the convention of people, whether or not they looked familiar, she didn?t feel like taking part in interacting. She entered the tower and began the long trek up the staircase. Again those she had taken comfort in were off without a word, had he or Bardock even said anything to her? She didn?t recall being told they were going to get information, or do something else. She continued to consider the situation, her breathing growing a little heavier as the stairs continued. If she was lucky the old man would be there and she would have some time to rest, not much else she could do. It would seem that something big was going to transpire, was it to be a war? Was this all Brim?s doing? For all she knew this could all be a trap, angels or not. She neared the top and took a moment to catch her breath. She opened the door and it moved with ease, within stood the old man. Was he sleeping again?

?Welcome back.? He said and she jumped slightly. Guess not. ?Have you come to rest again? I?m surprised you aren?t talking with the celestial beings.? She looked away, considering her thoughts.

?I have no reason to, at this moment, anyway.? He looked at her with half closed eyes. ?I came to rest, and possible clean off this zombie blood.? He smiled warmly, she felt like he could see right through her, and knew that there was something troubling her. Yet, he seemed wise, and she found she kind of liked him, as if he were some guardian. ?May I?? She smiled, genuinely, for the first time in days.

?You may.? He closed his eyes and continued his strange sleep standing. 18 chuckled inside and left the main room. She entered the room she and Raditzu had occupied when they had last been here. She shed off her clothing after closing the door and took to making use of the washroom. This tower was marvelous; it gave a little peace for anyone seeking it in these tough times. She let herself be cleansed by the shower water. It felt good to get that undead grime off her body. She spent longer than was needed in the shower, letting the water soak into her skin and drip from her golden hair. Every time she had a shower she felt a little serene, perhaps it was because she was always getting dirty.

She toweled her ever growing hair, trying to dry it. She did this while standing in the dark simple room, water droplets sailed to the ground and left little spots. She sighed a little, the cold air pressed against her nude form, small bumps prickled to the surface. She continued to towel her long bangs when the door began to click. The hair on the back of her neck rose, but she did not turn. ?You found me, huh?? She said it quietly, as if to whisper it.

?Oh?sorry, I?ll leave.? He made to turn, his voice was abashed. Her reply was a simple no. Why need he be embarrassed? It wasn?t like from his position he could see anything, although she still stood as if to continue drying her hair. He took a nimble step forward; it was times like these when you should know when to tread lightly. He knew something was up, but who could ever read a woman? Certainly not he. ?What?s-

?Raditzu?? She said, cutting him off. Her back was still to him, her ample bottom well exposed, but who cared? She issued a sigh. She dropped the damp towel; droplets of water still free falling to their death. She turned; beads of the water dribbled from her hair and formed rivers down her neck and bosom. She look at him, her eyes wide and blue, lifeless. He had no words for her, but then, who would? His mouth was agape, his arms limp, his eyes confused. She moved toward him in one fluid motion, catching him off guard. Her small form pressed lightly against his chest, her arms huddled against her own chest. Her fingers clasped together under her chin, while she rested the side of her face against his armor. She stared distantly toward the ground, and after a moment she spoke again. ?Tell me you love me?? And the rest was up to him.

?What?s going on?? Raditzu turned as his father spoke.

While the long-haired warrior would have liked to provide his father with a rational explanation of what the hell was up, he was baffled himself. His precision teleportation had landed them amidst a flock of feathery wings, which was disconcerting enough on its own. The fact that he hadn?t even bothered to explain why they had been teleported probably hadn?t helped Bardock or 18. After a moment of wrestling with the angelic wings, Bardock was able to cast a questioning look at the massive watchtower before them.

?That one I can explain.? Rad followed his father?s gaze. ?Some old guy lives up there and can see everything.? Rad nodded to himself.

?You call that an explanation?? Bardock craned his neck backwards, trying to see the top of the structure.

?Well? yeah.?

So much for a brief moment of bonding between the two. Rad sighed inwardly to himself and surveyed the landscape. He picked out a couple of familiar ki signatures, but nothing that particularly caught his interest. He made a mental note to catch up with the old Namekian, Kami. It had been a while since he had seen the green bean. Further inspection of the surroundings yielded a bad omen. He didn?t see 18 anywhere. That was just perfect. He couldn?t even figure out what he had done and he had managed to screw something up. Maybe she just? uh? was tired, Rad told himself. It was a comforting thought, but a bald-faced lie. Rad turned to Bardock, who seemed to be inspecting the winged beings.

?Did you see where 18 went?? Rad asked his father.

?Uh yeah. She headed into the door over there.? Bardock pointed in the direction of the tower.

?Ah.? The saiyan sighed. He started to walk towards the tower, but stopped and turned his head towards Bardock. ?How did you manage to keep a woman around for two kids??

Bardock considered the question for a moment before replying.

?She didn?t have a choice. It was an arranged marriage.?

The long-haired warrior was little more than a blink, as he couldn?t tell if his father was being serious or not. Somewhere, in the back of his mind, Rad hoped he was joking, but at the moment it was kind of irrelevant. Rad marched towards the door to the watchtower and entered the building in short order. There was so much about what was going on that he was curious about: the winged beings, the flash of light, the zombies, everyone else already at the watchtower, but right now he needed to be concerned with 18.

?Oh yeah? I remember this game.? Raditzu said as he began the long trek up the massive staircase.

It was funny how different a building could look when you weren?t a two foot tall ball of fur. No! Rad shook his head. He needed to concentrate. Somewhere along the line he had missed something. 18 must have said or done something that should have tipped him off. Now it was simply a matter of trying to discern what it was. He was a master warrior (According to him, anyway) who was capable of analyzing and exposing intricate fighting techniques. Looking for a hint that the android had dropped was surely no harder than battle for the fate of planets. He was somewhat dubious.

Ok, Raditzu started in on himself, he just needed to work his way backwards. Firstly was the whole transformation ordeal. 18 hadn?t seemed thrilled about that. He just needed to find out why. As his feet continued the long-trek up the stairs, he closed his eyes and thought. There was a bright light. Some zombies. Plenty of smashing. Rad?s brain continued to backtrack. Tearing apart the building. 18 and Bojack getting out of the way. Wait. He remembered hearing something. His subconscious had made a mental note of it, but his Oosaru-influenced instincts weren?t in the mood to worry about it. Pushing the little ?play? button in his head, Rad played back the snippet of memory.

MOVE!? The android yelled and leapt over the dead carcass of the monster that had triggered this situation. She had taken a hold of the pirate-looking warriors hand and led him around the corner of the hall. The sound of the metal hallways tearing followed them as they made a retreat from the chaos. ?I don?t know what to do, we can?t get near them, but I can?t leave Raditzu behind, even if he is a big ape now.?

Bojack had said something after that, but it didn?t really matter to Raditzu. Obviously she had been concerned about him, but she must have understood that she wasn?t herself, right? He had said that at some point, hadn?t he? Explained what happened when he transformed. He thought he had, but he wasn?t sure if that was a memory he had simply fabricated for his own benefit. In hindsight, Rad could easily see how him having stomping on zombies would leave a bitter taste in the androidess? mouth. He logged that away and continued to track backwards through his memory.

There he was fighting Vegeta. He had caught a couple glimpses of the blonde-haired woman. She looked worried? concerned. And probably with good reason. Vegeta was, without a doubt, one of the most vicious foes Raditzu had ever faced. Rad hadn?t really had time to assure her that he had been ok. Had that bothered her? It probably had? but there had been a lot going on at the time. The power outage, the invasion of zombies. Trying to find Brim. Bojack?s bout with some sort of specter from his past. She would understand that, right? Rad was sure she would. He just needed to explain it to her logically and calmly. There was nothing to be upset about there, so Rad moved on.

Ok, there was everyone in the holding cell. He had exchanged words with Bra, then Vegeta had started their fight. No? something happened between then. He watched, in his mind, as 18 reached towards the glowing green bars of energy that imprisoned them. A cry of pain preceded her falling to her knees. Surely he had comforted her, right? He must have. Raditzu?s memory continued to play and he watched himself decidedly not do anything about it. Good lord how could he have been so flat-out stupid? What did he need? A giant, flashing, neon sign? He had trying to find a way out of the cell? for her? for everyone. Yes, he should have been there to help, but he was still thinking about her. That counted for something, didn?t it? Surely it would if he told her that he had been concerned for her.

As Raditzu pushed that thought aside, he noticed he was passing the half way point of the observatory. A small room branched off of the main stairway and Rad took the chance to partake in a small couch. Stretching out, Rad had a nice view of nothing more than the sky. Fluffy white clouds drifted by, completely obvious to the hordes of living dead of the forces of would-be angels below. They didn?t care, they were doing their job. It was easy to see how someone could get lost just gazing at the scenery, content with whatever floated by. Raditzu could never be like that. If there were people watching, he would be the one their attention was on. He wasn?t simply another cloud drifting by. He had worked his whole life to try and stand out. Try and be something than just another saiyan on just another planet. Did it matter? Had anyone even noticed? Before Raditzu?s mind could continue its downward spiral of loathing and self-contempt a thought came to mind. Yes, it had mattered. She had noticed. What else mattered? Leaping off the couch, Rad continued up the staircase.

His mental back peddling continued. Where had he been? Zombies? giant apes? Vegeta? holding cell? ah! Outside the ruined hospital. Some kind of beast had attacked? threatened what they had come there seeking (or so Rad had reasoned). And then things got hazy. He remembered 18 rushing to help him, and he remembered being concerned about her. Something occurred after that, something Raditzu had been pondering since it had occurred. The two of them had fused. They had done something that Raditzu hadn?t even considered was possible between two people of opposite race, let alone opposite gender. How had that affected 18? Had she noticed that he had avoided the subject? Did she care? She was probably a bit confused about what exactly had happened, but he had very few answers to give her.

And that brought him back to the tower he was currently climbing. He hadn?t even looked saiyan at the time. Had that bothered her? Rad thought he had noticed the android being distant, at the time, but he assumed it was all in his head. Randomly and uncontrollably turning into a cat certainly messed with a man?s mind. He wasn?t sure if he had fully come to grips with the fact that the telepathic ball of fur had been him at all. He was still afraid of randomly turning back at some point. Especially if someone like Vegeta were around. Lord almighty he would never hear the end of it. Had anything worth mention happened before that?

There was the underground cavern they had fallen into with Goten. The bomb that had almost blown Rad to kingdom come. Before that they were searching around some kind of underground facility after having fought through the defense systems of a military base. Back then Raditzu had still considered the game as a fun little break from the real world. Maybe he had been the only one. How had 18 felt about it? Hell? he hadn?t even thought to ask. That was classy. Just rush off and do his own thing. The story of Rad?s life. And, because of that, 18 was suffering. Though it probably didn?t show, he really was trying. He wanted to be there for her, and he definitely wanted her to be a part of his life. How had he managed to screw that up so royally? It took an impressive feat of idiocy, even by Raditzu?s standards.

There was the door to the top floor of the watchtower. Rad came to a dead stop in front of it. He really had no idea if 18 was in there or not, but he hoped that, at least, the old watchman would know where she had gone. That was his specialty, right? Maybe he had missed 18 completely. What if Bardock was wrong and she was back on the ground with his father? Maybe Rad should go check again to make sure he hadn?t just overlooked her. Or he could just chop off his balls right there and then. Good lord when did he become such a wimp? He took a deep breath and steeled himself, mentally. Reaching out, his hand hesitantly clasped the doorknob. He needed a second breath before turning the door knob and pushing it open. He stepped carefully in the room and saw? nothing.

?Hello there.? The old man turned towards Raditzu and looked him up and down.

?Uh? hi.? Rad scanned the room once more, but 18 was definitely not there. His eyes fell upon the door to the room he and 18 had rested in earlier during Friend or Foe.

?Have we met before?? The old man?s question broke Rad?s train of thought.

?Well? no.? How does one explain that he had been a cat? ?I don?t think so.? Rad considered the door for a moment, then turned to the watchman. ?Hey, did you see ??

?In there.? The old man answered the question with a nod before Rad could even finish it.

Ok, so she was in there. No problem, he just needed to go in there and talk to her. Maybe she wasn?t mad at all. Maybe Rad had just misread something. It was possible, wasn?t it? In some realm of existence, yes it was probably possible. In this one, Rad needed to stop acting like a little woman and bite the bullet. But, there was no sense in storming in there if he didn?t know what to say. Having something planned out wasn?t being wimpy, it was being smart. Like battling an enemy: going in and swinging away usually didn?t work? even if it was Rad?s preferred modus operandi. He was slowly working together a rather sound series of questions and statement when the watchman?s voice cut through again.

?You should probably go in.? His voice was warm, though Rad was thoroughly annoyed at being interrupted.

?Ya think?? The saiya-jin?s voice was rough and his tongue sharp. He caught himself before saying anything and quickly adjusted his tone. ?Uh? yeah, thanks.?

Might as well just go in. He would just have to play it by ear. If he was honest and genuine with 18, things would work out, wouldn?t they? That was probably all the she wanted from him. Rad stepped cautiously into the darkened room. On the small bed he saw 18?s clothing laying in a small pile and he caught the sound of running water being shut off. Maybe this was a bad time. Though the female?s state of dress didn?t upset the saiyan (quite the opposite, actually) he didn?t want her to feel awkward or anything.

?You found me, eh?? Her voice was soft. If Rad were less flustered, mentally, he would have found it enchanting.

?Oh... sorry, I?ll leave.? Maybe she hadn?t wanted to be found.

?No.? Though her voice was still soft, it carried an authoritative undertone. Leaving right now would be a very bad idea, it seemed. She still seemed distant. Was it really a good idea to stay? Maybe this was some kind of test for the saiyan. He really and truly had no idea what was going on in the android?s mind. He took a step forward and closed the door behind him.

?Listen,? Raditzu began softly, ?what?s-?

?Raditzu??

The saiyan fell silent. Instantly. If she had something she needed to say, the floor was hers. It would probably be better than whatever inane mumbling Rad had been preparing himself for. Why had he never given any thought to actually learning how to? like? talk to people. Seriously talk to them. He could punch them in the face like nobody?s business? but that didn?t always work. 18 turned towards him, having abandoned her towel completely. Yet again, had Raditzu been less perturbed, he would have been thoroughly enchanted by the woman?s beauty. He didn?t have too long to admire, though, as 18 laid herself against him.

?Tell me you love me??

With all the sincerity, purity, and artistic wordsmithing Raditzu could muster, he looked down at the petite frame of the android and said ?huh?? If ever he had been caught off-guard, it was nothing compared to this. He certainly could not brag of being able to so quickly and completely eviscerate someone?s defenses. Mental or otherwise. Blinking away the shock, Raditzu wrapped his arms around 18 and thought for a moment. Processing both the request and the possible implications that could come along with it. What had he really been expecting from the woman? Was it really so shocking.

All of the flimsy rationalizations and arguments that he had come up with on his way up here melted away. It was shocking that he had missed something so? simple. Simple? Maybe not simple (was love ever simple?), but certainly obvious. When was the last time he had told 18 how he felt about her? His mind reeled backwards, searching for something? anything. He wanted to prove to himself that he hadn?t been a callous moron, but it wasn?t looking good. His mind finally rested on a time the two of them had been in the Room of Spirit and Time, locked away with one another. Had that really been the last time he had said anything? Nothing else came to mind. Little more than a second had passed and Rad decided a quick recovery was in order.

?Is that what?s been bothering you?? His voice was soft and light.

18 didn?t reply. Her head was turned to the ground. He only knew she heard him because she pushed against him a little harder. Rad made a mental note to look into the finer points of telepathy

?I? well? I?m sorry.? The saiyan lifted her chin with a finger. ?I never should have let you worry like that. There are a lot of things I wish I had done better.? Why did people always have these elaborate and dramatic speeches prepared in the movies? It just wasn?t natural. ?Of course I love you, 18.? The saiyan bent down and gently kissed the android. It was not a thing of lust or passion, but something of pure, honest feelings.

There is no right or wrong in war, only what needs to be and what will be. No time for mourning, no time for personal feelings. There is no you but we, the fighting force of a unit. Nothing will ever measure up to the feelings of guilt or despair that you will have when reflecting upon what it is that you have done. But when all is said and done, when fear and destruction wash through the valley of self conscious only you will remain. A warrior among men. Remember this and you will be the soldier you were meant to be, the killer you were created to be.

Uub?s icy blue with in blue eye?s scanned the scene before him. Legions upon legions of angelic soldiers in mythical armor stood in unison. Bearing their weapons and folding their wings, standing shoulder to shoulder. Brothers in arms in what would be yet another war between two ancient forces destined to clash into eternity.

?And so it begins.? Uub whispered, his silver hair billowing in the self generated wind of his aura. ?The war between Heaven and Hell, it?s almost unreal.?

Reijin smirked as he too looked down among the ranks of Angels. ?Goes to show you how oblivious us mortals really are.? He hovered next to Uub and Kami and allowed his golden aura to fade into the wind. ?But at least now we know for sure Gabriel was not a pawn of Brim?s.?

Kami nodded his agreement. ?I defiantly feel better about this war now.? The Elder Namek smiled as his ascended powers cascaded a fiery emerald aura around his body.

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

Uub?s lips stopped moving as his eyes reopened, and then he spoke once more, in a voice quite unlike his own. ?The only thing worse then death itself is the fear of death, I no longer fear death, death is the blood that will course the ground beneath my feet, that will drip from my hands, and that I will smear across my face, let this war come and go, I will be the one to remain unscathed as my foe?s crumble and blow away in the wind?s of fate.

Reijin raised quizzical eyebrows then nodded. ?Wise words from a human, you sure your ok?? he asked glancing over at a shrugging Kami.

?No I?m fine; I?m just seeing things in a different light.? He clenched his jaw as he looked back towards the tower. ?I say we prepare, maybe the watchmen will have more information for us.?

The other two nodded. ?Alright, let?s make our way back inside.?

ooc: It's not much but I've nothing to really go on as of now.

Something was not right about the angels that filled the grounds outside the watchtower. Only a sparse number of them had actually positively greeted the android. Several of them were simply ignoring him, and others seemed like they were trying to damn him with merely their eyes. Seventeen was becoming rather agitated at how the celestial soldiers were treating him, and he was not one to take being ignored calmly. Taking in a deep gulp of air, the machine-hybrid walked over and confronted one of the tallest, most-intimidating angels he could find. The seraph smiled unemotionally and flexed his large, elegant wings in a display of his magnificence and stature. There was a nerve-racking silence from both Seventeen and the tall angel for what seemed like an eternity. Android Seventeen could not tell whether or not the armored divinity was trying to threaten him or simply get the point across that he was an important figure.

?Why are you guys trying to exile me?? the cybernetic warrior asked, ?since I arrived here there have been few of your kind that has even acknowledged my presence,? with a mighty sigh, the handsome figure smiled for a second before responding.

?You wear the armor of our kind, and you wield the sword of one of our messengers,? he said, the seraph?s voice echoed in the android?s mind long after it escaped the angel?s lips, ?the fact remains that you are still a marked man, the lower choirs are always more liberal in their views of sinners, but my kind and I are not to easy to forget your crimes.
You may have got back on the straight path, but your soul is still stained by your past decisions,? the machine-hybrid was stunned by the news. He had literally gone through hell, and still these beings would not let him forget the damage Byrk and Brim had indirectly pushed him to create. Would these celestials never let him be forgiven? Seventeen knew what had to be done, and he was willing to do it all costs.

?So what do I have to do to purify my soul in your eyes?? Android Seventeen asked. The seraph chuckled and crossed his arms. His heartfelt expression was lost to a hard scowl as he pondered what to tell the cybernetic mortal.

?If you truly are ready to repent for your sins, you must undergo one challenge young hybrid. If you succeed in your task no longer will we look down upon you, but if you fail, your life will be null and void. Your soul will be banished to the fires of hell for the rest of your existence?there will be no escape for you,? Seventeen nodded, it wasn?t the first time had to risk his existence. The android had come too far to fail now, and if completing the seraph?s task meant a clean conscious, he was ready. With a snap of his fingers, the divinity caused everything to vanish in the blink of an eye. Seventeen looked around and immediately realized that he was no longer on Kala. Gone were the watchtower, the army of angels, and the endless wastelands of Friend or Foe. The asteroid had been replaced by literally nothing. In fact, as far as the eye could see, the machine-hybrid was surrounding by a sea of white.

?The Room of Spirit and Time?? the android said, his voice echoing in all directions.

?Not exactly,? an identical voice echoed back. Seventeen spun around and gasped at the cybernetic being walking towards him. As the apparent clone neared him, the landscape around the android began to shift and alter. By the time the doppelganger was within striking distance, both warriors were standing in the middle of an active city block. All around them, pedestrians were rushing down the sidewalk, cars were buzzing past them, beeping their horns madly as drivers swerved to avoid the machine-hybrids.

?What the hell is this?? Android Seventeen asked, eying up the clone. His replica wore his old outfit, but the resemblance stopped there. This Seventeen was covered in a plethora of scars and by his grin alone, the machine-hybrid could detect the overwhelming malice that emanated from this duplicate.

?Your?challenge, Seventeen,? even the copy?s raspy voice reflected his rugged appearance, ?all the evil, hate, rage, and frustration within you is what created me. The question is will you actually be able to kill the darkness that consumes you? Can you kill yourself?? Android Seventeen had never really expected his quest to be fighting himself, but it didn?t matter in the end. Rushing forward, the machine-hybrid was tripped up by his malevolent copy. The replica proved somehow more experienced, and he managed to easily flip over the strike. The real Seventeen gawked in horror as his doppelganger gracefully leapt over him and sent him flying forward with two heels to the spine. The cybernetic warrior was struck by an oncoming car. Yelping in terror, the driver started to swerve, his vision blinding by the groaning android that was stuck halfway through his windshield.

Seventeen closed his eyes against the pain of broken glass that was shredding his skin like a cheese grater. Adding further insult to injury, the windshield wipers were smacking him in the sides repeatedly. Evil Android Seventeen was cackling the entire time, cackles very reminiscent of when Seventeen had been maiming Piccolo Daimaou. The machine-hybrid felt an excruciating heat overwhelm him when the engine below him struck the side of a building. Onlookers tried to flee the carnage, but evil Seventeen was not content with just eradicating his better half, he needed more. Creating a red saber of ki in both hands, the malignant machine-hybrid began mowing down the panicking bystanders. Screams eclipsed the hum of ki as limbs and blood were splattered everywhere. A bright flash of ki finally ended the massacre, but in the time it took the true Seventeen to regain his bearings, the road was already drenched in the blood and leftovers of dozens of innocents.

?Don?t you see?? the replica spoke, ?do I appear repressed at all? If you would have embraced what I embody you would have never needed to inhibit yourself! It is a shame to see you sacrifice freewill for the respect of a bunch of self-absorbed angels?? Android Seventeen had heard enough of the babble, yet he knew that he had sacrificed something when he chose to repent. Although the armor had impaired a large amount of possible burns, the machine-hybrid still felt his life escaping him. If he couldn?t defeat this opponent, he would never be able to avenge his fallen compatriots. He would never be able to prevent Byrk from escaping Hell, and most importantly, he would never see Paige again. Focusing his energy, the cybernetic warrior created a blue ki saber and dashed forward. The two androids clashed, and the evil representation quickly gained the obvious upper hand. Yet the melee continued as the clone flaunted his skill. Screaming and darting forward, the real Seventeen blocked his opponent?s blades up high, and then kicked his clone in the gut. The hateful replica stumbled backwards, more surprised at the sudden blow then actually hurt.

However, just as the machine-hybrid was moving to disembowel his replica, the cybernetic copy swung both his energy sabers down. Like a pair of scissors, the shimmering blades chopped off Seventeen?s remaining organic arm. With an earsplitting cry, the android clutched his severed forearm and bite his lip. At least for the cybernetic warrior, the heat of the ki had cauterized the limb, so he would not die from the river of blood that would have cascaded from the multitude of severed veins. Android Seventeen had never expected this asteroid to claim both of his arms, but apparently he had been gravely wrong. The machine-hybrid was beginning to wonder why he had even bothered to continue being a part of Brim?s little game. Why didn?t he just refuse so long ago? He could have at least escaped without having his soul banished to hellfire for all eternity.

?Now what?? the cold words of the doppelganger taunted, ?without any way to channel energy of even fight how are you supposed to deal with a foe as powerful as you assume yourself to be?? the replica dashed forward once again, his boot connecting with the android?s temple, triggering new pain and almost knocking the android into unconsciousness. Seventeen skidded over the road, splitting the asphalt each time he bounced off the road. The cybernetic warrior finally came to rest with his last hope in plain sight?the avatar?s blade. Android Seventeen had forgotten it completely when he got teleported into this realm, but it was lying right where it had fallen when his clone had kicked him into the car. Ignoring the crippling pain that was consuming him, the wounded machine-hybrid scampered across the concrete and scooped up the sword in his remaining, synthetic hand.

?Do you really have it in you to kill me?? the emotionless clone asked. Seventeen raised the long sword and charged forward like a maniac. The replica swung low, but the android had anticipated that he would have done the same thing in this kind of situation and leaped into the air. Unleashing a battle cry, the android turned the blade down and went to thrust it through his twin?s brain. Maybe Seventeen should have anticipated what came next, but in the midst of battle, thoughts and perception can start to blur. The manifestation of his hatred simply leapt back and swung forward; however, luckily for the android, the blades were too high to eviscerate his pelvis. Instead, the armor around his chest and abdomen took the bulk of the force and fell apart. Android Seventeen jumped backwards to prevent another strike, and the ornate plating crumbled, silently striking the concrete between the two androids.

?Face it, I?m afraid victory for you is hopeless, accept us before you are completely eradicated,? the rhetoric was ignored by Seventeen, because he had another idea that he hoped would at least give him an edge. The desperate android darted into the air and plucked one of the grenades from the Storage Facility off his belt. Android Seventeen was glad they had accompanied him to this void. By the time he heaved the triggered grenade, the clone was close on his tail, but the blast that followed completely ended evil Seventeen?s momentum. There was initially just an absence of all sound and a flash of white, but only a few seconds more passed before the explosion completely shattered the absence of noise. With the heat and intensity of the sun, the detonating grenade unleashed a flurry of deadly shrapnel as well. Android Seventeen, even though he had passed the skyscrapers and clouds, was still peppered by the painful shards of metal.

Swallowing down the agony from the wounds in his bare legs and back, the cybernetic warrior slowly returned to the ground. On his way back to the streets, he viewed the damage from the blast?shattered windows, destroyed buildings, and the familiar stench of smoke and death. However, the twitching body on the ground triggered a slight feeling of euphoria to overtake the debilitated machine-hybrid. Landing in front of the clone, Seventeen raised the avatar?s sword and prepared for the final blow. Below him, the manifestation of his evil choked on his blood and tried to lash out.

?So this is how you cleanse your soul?? the dying, cybernetic copy asked, ?don?t you find it ironic that the only way they will allow you back into their graces is for you to commit the same crime they condemned you for. The only difference is they are making you kill yourself! You can?t silence who you are, Seventeen!? Hearing enough, Android Seventeen swung the sword down. Vibrant images escaped through the wound in his copy?s head, images that quickly overtook the android and returned him to Kala. The machine-hybrid fell to his knees in sheer pain. His adrenaline rush had left him a bloodied, broken man. Just as he was ready to accept his fate, a fresh wave of life exploded through his veins, reinvigorating him. The pain suddenly vanished, replaced by a new feeling of strength and power.

?Rise, Seventeen,? the seraph said, ?Your trials are completed, and the taint has left your soul. My kin and I would like to apologize for doubting your capabilities, but do remember that here on Kala you are near the bottom of the barrel when it comes to sheer might. Your odds of survival are microscopic, if they even exist at all,? Seventeen quickly stood up and looked at his restored hands?both of them! The android picked the avatar?s sword from the ground and clenched it in both of his new, organic hands. His outfit had been restored to the angelic plating and dirty blue jeans, but more importantly, the cybernetic warrior felt reinvigorated. He had emerged from the seraph?s challenge a stronger person, and he was prepared for the trials that were quickly coming.

?What?s going on?? Bardock inquired, agitated. Of all the random things, he?d been teleported again, when he was perfectly capable of flying. It wasn?t like the watchtowers were that far away. That wasn?t even the strangest part of it: they?d been transported into a gathering of winged beings, not so much like the birdman Tory, but more?angelic. Not just any angels, but warrior angels, ones who were preparing for a colossal battle. Had the light come from them? It must have. Were these the people of Kala, these great things of holy light? How ironic: zombies versus angels. It was a classic duel of heaven and hell, battling out for conquest of the middle ground.

Bardock and Raditzu wriggled their way free of the great spans of wings that stifled them, and the elder cast his eyes about the enormous monolith that stood before him, glancing over at his son.

?That one I can explain,? Rad answered, gazing up at the enormous structure. ?Some old guy lives up there and can see everything.?

The patriarch tilted his head back, so as to take in the full view. ?You call that an explanation??

?Well?yeah,? his son shrugged.

Bardock laughed inwardly, but not that of amusement. Was it always going to be this way between the two? He couldn?t even remember the last time he saw Kakarotto. All he could do was his best with the time given to him with his children, he supposed. Bar stared unseeingly at the great stone sentinel, lost in thought.

?Did you see where 18 went?? the long-haired saiyan asked. Bardock?s attention directed towards his inquiring son.

?Uh, yeah,? he answered, recalling her slender form entering the tower almost immediately after teleportation. She?d managed to avoid the mass of feathers quite easily. He?d been tempted to say something, not wanting the three split up, but he assumed he was on bad terms, and thus kept his mouth shut. He wouldn?t have known what to say anyway, much less whether to do it or not at all. It was probably inevitable that they would go their own separate ways, but Bardock was actually beginning to enjoy the company. He pointed. ?She headed into that door over there.?

?Ah,? the other sighed, somewhat exasperated. Bardock knew that sigh all too well. Raditzu apparently didn?t have much luck with understanding Eighteen either, and they were lovers. He made his way towards the door, but suddenly turned around, a quizzical look in his eye. ?How did you manage to keep a woman around for two kids??

The question caught the father completely by surprise, and it was not of a subject he would have willingly recalled. He paused for a moment, choosing his words carefully. His eyes searched the ground, and he swallowed before answering. ?She didn?t have a choice. It was an arranged marriage.?

A look of incredulity and disbelief lurked beneath the surface of Raditzu?s face. The answer had been as surprising to him as the question had been to Bardock. Maybe he was searching for answers, answers that would help him solve whatever predicaments he had with the android female. The bronze bruiser was one of the last people to be able to give it to him, although he would have liked to. The younger saiyan turned to search for his girlfriend, leaving Bardock alone, both metaphorically and physically.

Bardock rubbed his chin with a hand, feeling the roughness of stubble. It had been awhile since he?d had a good shave. He must have looked like a mess, and smelled like worse. He needed a shower, if not for the grunge that coated his body, but for its relaxing warmth. The warrior trudged into the tower, fatigue finally setting in. He was reluctant to sleep, especially in a world such as this, at a time where one wrong step could get you eliminated. Bardock wasn?t done yet. Even after killing Kao, he?d see this through to the end somehow. Too much had been taken from him and done to him to not to.

The saiyan threw out his mental probe, searching for familiar energy, and although found people he knew, came up empty when it came to people that mattered to him. Reijin, the blond human, the old namek, and the mohawked human were all here. Hell, even Cell, whom he had not seen since his trip to the underworld so long ago, was here. His heart dropped. He?d hoped to possibly rendezvous with those he?d left behind. Burter Junior and Goten were nowhere to be found, nor even Bebi or Yamu, for that matter. He reassured himself that they were just out and about somewhere, still safe. He would have known if they had somehow been eliminated. Bebi or Yamu didn?t matter, but the other two did. A surge of relief flooded through the saiyan as his mind touched a warm, familiar beacon of energy. Katel was here. She must have succeeded, but the important thing was that Brim hadn?t gotten his grubby little hands on her. He made a mental note to approach her when he was more?presentable. ?Primping? wasn?t something he usually cared about, but he didn?t want to show up looking like a slob. He didn?t even know if she cared he was still alive.

Bardock wanted to find Raditzu and Eighteen, but he knew they would need some alone time. So, he would just have to go find a room and shower, and figure out what to do next. He sighed, but refused to show any sign of weariness. Even here, it would not do well to expose a vulnerable flank. Brim surely had eyes everywhere, and the saiyan didn?t want to leave any chink of armor in plain sight.

OOC: Just getting my bearings. Brief mention of people in the tower. Cell, if you're confused, PM me. Two.

The new trio of might made their way back inside, Bra tagging along too. Kami was still awestruck by the appearance of the angels, although he didn't let it show, thier elegance, purity, honor and light that radiated from them was truely something to behold. It was apparent that the hour of battle was drawing near, and it was time to prepare for the coming battle. Uub was well on his way, it wasn't hard to see that his mind was already set. Reijin was a little harder to read, much like Kami he tried not to give away how he was feeling just by his body language. It wasn't a concious effort as much as it was how he had always been. Bra was still visibly upset by some things, but was doing her best to be strong.

Kami decided to take a moment for himself and refocus his thoughts. Floating up into the watchtower he glid past a couple angels talking to each other. They took notice of the Namekian who brushed past them, and in an act of mutual respect both parties shared a brief nod of the head as they carried on their seperate ways.

The watchtower was quite roomy, with plenty of places to go get ones self lost in, but Kami had no intention of being lost. He picked a relativly secluded spot, facing out a grand window, and hovered in a sitting position. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, pushing out all the cluttered thoughts in his mind. His emerald aura slowly ignited around him, rolling around his body in an embrace of green flame. He looked like a man being carresed by a ball of emerald flame, somehow content admist the chaos which was about to errupt on the asteroid.

"What do you think he's doing up there?" Uub asked, but to nobody in particular. Reijin was next to him and responded promptly.

"He's preparing." The sayjin's still golden hair fell across his face as he spoke, almost to punctuate his words and let everyone know he was finished speaking. Uub nodded in agreement. Bra seemed to know what he was doing, but simply waited to see what he would do.

Images appeared in Kami's mind, vivid, full color, smell, taste, sound, how the wind felt brushing past his face. It was all there, down to the last detail in the last blade of grass. He was in a field, grass spread across rolling hills. It reminded him of a favorite spot on Earth he frequented. There was more to it though, the trees were a distinct shape, tall and thin with balled up leaves. The hills rolled on again, leading way to large bodies of water tinted green by the sky. Namek! Kami suddenly recognized his home planet, which he had left so many years ago.

The skys were clear, and the weather agreeable. A Namekian child ran across the field, chasing after a frog which was hopping along. Kami could hear himself laughing as he watched the child. The pristine scene was being intruded upon by dark clouds off in the distance.

Uub watched Kami, curious as to what the Namek was thinking about. His aura kept fluxuating, curling up around his body slowly, then raging around him and growing in size before calming back down once again.

The Namekian could see the clouds creeping across the sky, and in turning to look at them saw an entire horizon covered in darkness. The grass was dying. The trees were wilting. No one lived or played over here, the hills began to crumble. Off on the horizon line Kami could see the water become more and more fierce, kicking up into the sky as the seconds past.

Reijin took notice as well, the Namek's aura had seemed to increase in speed as it swirled about. He was far from concerned, but more than anything curious. What purpose was this serving? What was he really doing? The young sayjin realized these were futile questions, he knew full well that each warrior has their own ways of preparing for a fight. He rarely had the chance to watch others in their preperation.

The water was not being shoved against the shore by wind, but something else. Kami stared hard into the distance, the source was out there. As the clouds enveloped the sky before him he could see two towers of water shooting into the air. Someone, or something was flying along the surface of the water, but Kami could not see who or what it was, in the interest of self defense he took a fighting stance and kept his eyes on the mysterious figure in the distance.

By now Uub and Reijin were both intently gazing upon their new comrade, not knowing too much about him they looked on, especially Uub who was still searching for ways to channel his new found powers. "Amazing..." he said. The aura which had once been tightly wrapped around the Namekian now lapped at the window before him, like a starving fire on the end of a log the ki hopped around the Namek. Bra smiled, she was proud to be friends with this incredible person.

The figure drew closer, and the thunder began. The rain poured down in sheets, but Kami stood his ground. He was not going to run away, not now, not ever. Whatever was coming his way was in trouble. There was a flash of lightning and a clap of thunder. In the blink of an eye the figure had closed more than half the distance he had been traveling. WHAT?!?! This truely was suprising for the Ultra Namek, even he was not sure he possed the speed to move so quickly without detection. Kami blinked. Another flash. The figure was almost upon him. The darkness had spread so far that he was unable to discern who it was. There was a scream acomplainied by a flash. The sky was light up as the figure of Kamiccoro Diamoun charged in at Kami, fist raised high in the air mouth wide open in mind bending rage.

"NO!" Kami shouted out loud, startling Uub and Reijin who were watching this all unfold. They knew not what occuring inside the head of the Namekian, but that this possibly could be bad.

"I should go wake him up!" Uub began to fly into the air but before he could go he felt Reijin grab his shoulder. He looked back at the Sayjin who simply shook his head. Uub let out a sigh. "I suppose you're right. He needs to deal with it on his own." Bra nodded as well, knowing full well what Kami needed to do to win a battle, which was anything and everything when the people, things and ideals that mattered were on the line.

The battle raged on across the landscape of Kami's mind. His former fused self was a persona that had not entirely been erased from his psche, and now in this time of battle he needed to subdue it, possibly channel the unbridled range and angst for his own benifit. The lightning flashes seemed to coincide with the strikes. Each figure exchanging mighty blows that shook the heavens. The cackling from the evil side of Kami echoed off the hills like some tortured beast screaming in agony. Kami could feel the blood running down his face.

The two standing had no idea what to expect.

CRASH!

Kami's aura blasted outward, shattering the window infront of him. The glass clinked together as it drifted to the ground far below, a shimmering cascade of shattered snow. The Namekian then flew out of the window, still meditating. He hovered around the watchtower before finally coming back to the balcony which he was standing on before coming inside. He remained here, his aura flickering like a candle in the wind. Bra was the first to rush over to the balcony, seemingly concerned about her Namekian friend.

Kami soared through the blackened sky, unleashing a flurry of attacks on Kamiccoro. His hatred and rage fueled by the unspeakable acts committed by his lesser half. He only seemed to become stronger the longer they battled, it was a fight he did not wish to loose in this plain or any other. Kami suddenly dropped out of the sky, like a descending firework gone wrong he zipped to the ground. His counterpart followed, leaving a dark purple streak across the sky. As he neared, his teeth bared and the insane laughter escaped his voice again. Kami's aura swirled around him like a hurricane, the light blinding Kamiccoro Diaomun. It caused his impending assault to stall, giving Kami the time he needed to concentrate his energy into his two hands which were clasped together. He held them both out at arms length and fired his dual makensappo, silently letting the wind and the roar of the blast do the talking. Kamiccoro Diaomoun could only scream in terror as he was eaten alive and torn apart by the blast, his entire being engulfed in the wake of the beam.

Kami's aura flared once again. His friends were slightly startled by the violent meditation which the Namekian was going through. He looked like a green wildfire floating in the air. No one dared go near him for the fear of another flare up, and so they looked on intently.

The beam tore through the air removing KD from his current existance and gripping the dark clouds which covered the sky. The rain stopped as the blast errupted across the sky, consuming the darkness and revealing the light hidden behind. The grass came back, the hills rolled endlessly again, the water shimmered calmly and the wind once again carressed his face.

Kami's aura calmed down, slowly but surely. It was once again tight around him like a second skin. He then moved into a standing position and slowly came to stand on the balcony. Bra rushed over to his side. "Are you ok? What the hell happened?" Kami took in a deep breath and let it out.

"Nothing you need to worry about. It was...unexpected but I've dealt with it for now." His words were reassuring to hear, and they seemed to be good enough for Uub who was behind Bra and Reijin who feinted interest by listening by the doorway to the balcony. Kami gazed out across the barren asteroids landscape. There were many people inside the tower, including angels. After his little show, which was completly unintentional, Kami felt like now would be a good time to resume making battle plans and figuring out who his allies were.

"Alright then, lets get this figured out. I'm ready."

OOC: Yes, I realize this was also posted in the Military Base. Much of my post, however, included people in this thread. I believe posting in both made the most sense.
THIS IS THE REVISED VERSION

IC:

An intense rumbling coursed through the earth. Powerful vibrations shook the stalwart warriors as though they were little more than pebbles skittering about the ground. A deafening blast accompanied a massive jet of flame which tore out and upward from where Bra had destroyed the wall. Another fiery blast tore through the roof on the other side of the complex, sending enormous slabs of metal and concrete airborne. Several other detonations thundered throughout the base, causing extensive damage all over the military installation. The main entrance belched smoke and fire while the cutting-edge building collapsed in on itself.

A final, absolute explosion rang out. A calamitous sphere of flame vehemently ravaged the ruins of the base, engulfing the now-defunct complex. An overwhelming shockwave ripped into the three warriors. Their heels dug into the ground as they were pushed backward by the sheer force of the explosion, shielding their faces from the sharp winds with their arms. The cyan haired girl finally lost her footing and was thrown to the ground, but the gale quickly subsided.

All that was left were several flaming mounds of rent metal and smashed concrete. Thick, black pillars of smoke twisted into the air, casting a shroud of darkness upon the area. Zarbon extended his hand to the fallen princess, who brushed herself off and took it, allowing him to pull her to her feet.

?Thanks.? Bra offered quietly. She said it more for the selfless cover the teal man had given her while she waded through the base?s digital realm. Had it not been for his defense, she was sure that they would not have procured the potentially invaluable information they now had access to. All they needed was a computer.

?No problem.? came the casual reply. Bra recounted her experience with this ?Zarbon? character. Though the two barely knew each other, his actions suggested that he was worth her respect. The half-blood sighed. She owed him one.

?Where to now?? Vegeta spoke. His question was directed to Zarbon, but his focus remained on the crumbling ruins. The air was alive with the sound of burning flame, and his question was nearly lost in the din.

?I don?t- Hey! Look at that!? replied the mutant, pointing toward a brilliant column of light which stretched from the horizon all the way into the clouds and probably beyond. The aristocratic youth gasped as her ki sense touched upon the fantastic power emitted from that direction.

Bra?s expanded sixth sense still mystified her, as she had no way of explaining -even to herself- how exactly it had become so much better in such a short time. She had finally reasoned that it was simply due to constant practice, which at least offered an answer, however weak it felt to the girl.

?There?s... a lot of power out there...? she observed. The halfling had no idea that she was stating the obvious, but it didn?t seem to irk either of her adventuring companions. Zarbon simply nodded, his aperture wide with shock, while Bra?s father -as usual- held an unreadable expression of complete neutrality.

?I say we go there.? he said flatly. He didn?t need to explain himself, not to his daughter, at least. They both wanted the same thing; revenge. There wasn?t any moral justification for their goal anymore. There didn?t need to be. The hybrid couldn?t speak for her father, but she was consumed with the desire to murder the executive responsible for everything that had happened upon this rock. And so they would search for Brim. To bring him to his knees.

?Let?s go.? Bra agreed, while causing her aura to discharge wildly about her, blanketing herself in the warming energy. The other two did the same, rocketing skyward. The princess turned to face the as-yet unnamed shade, wearily taking in the horror?s unnerving features, ?You... get to that light out there, okay? I?ll be waiting for you.?

The cyan haired princess nodded to the creature, launching herself after the two streaks of energy which raced toward the energy. Her outlandish velocity afforded her the ability to close in on her companions in a very short time; her father had obviously limited himself to a speed comfortable for the jade-skinned mutant.

?Hey! Sorry.? the girl shortly apologized as she fell into formation, pacing the other two warriors as they made their way closer and closer to whatever it was that created such a massive ki disturbance up ahead, ?Any idea what we?re getting ourselves into this time??

?Nope.? Zarbon answered. Vegeta simply grunted in agreement. Bra sighed, she was used to fighting without any plan whatsoever. She still preferred being prepared, but hazarded a guess that Brim likely went to great lengths to ensure that a state of readiness was never attained by anyone on the asteroid.

* * * * *

The flight continued without incident. Bra occasionally fought with her now frizzy hair, brushing it away from her face while the strong winds continuously manipulated it. Talking, as usual, required that the girl worked to keep the cyan strands out of her mouth as she spoke by moving her head about as if to dodge them. The heiress wondered if Zarbon suffered from the same trouble, as his own hair was long and flowing like her own.

Bra was exhausted. She?d expended an absurd deal of energy since the senseless end of her brother?s life, and now, as the adrenaline continued to bleed out of her system, fatigue set in harder and harder. Her eyelids were incredibly heavy, and the rest of her body screamed for rest. The only kind of sleep the child had was the short nap she?d taken while being held prisoner, but it?s benefits were completely exhausted by now.

?Up there. A tower.? the prince declared, plunging into a steep dive. The others followed suit, maintaining a close formation, leery for some form of ambush. An enormous army stood before the tower, apparently waiting for something. A crazy thought entered the hybrid?s mind, causing her to say something even more insane.

?They... they look like angels!? she exclaimed. Her eyes were wide with shining curiosity, not knowing what to think of those that she gazed upon.

?Gabriel...? Vegeta muttered.

?Huh?? Bra said to herself. Gabriel? Did her dad know Lead General Gabriel? Even if he did, what would he be doing out here, in the middle of nowhere? The halfling quickly recalled that the soldier was currently in possession of her spaceship, but for him to come here didn?t make any sense.

The princess? ki sense alerted her to several familiar ki signatures, and even more that were unknown to her. Shockingly enough, Bra was actually able to recognize exactly who each familiar energy belonged to, despite the fact that otherwise she had no idea who was here. Somehow, though, she was sure that her sense of ki could be trusted. Uub, Cell, and even Kami! The girl hadn?t seen the old Namek in ages, but she returned to the matter at hand for now. Another name came to her as her sixth sense probed the region. Raditzu.

?Fuck.? the phrase eloquently summed up her thoughts, feelings, and opinions of this new development. The young heiress had been desperately worried that he and her father would come to blows once again, ever since the first battle had been defused by something the long haired titan had said. Her own well-being was also severely threatened, as the girl recalled the agonizing pain the saiyan?s strike had caused her.

The sharp sound was something that penetrated even the deepest of warriors to the very center of their being. Raditzu withdrew his hand as Bra hit the floor hard, and then mimicked the smirk she had made beforehand, ?Or I?ll shut you up!?

That slap was a testament to the strength of the long haired fighter. It was, in fact, an extraordinarily brutal strike, but it had been open-handed. There were several warriors who couldn?t emulate such force and injury with a full-fledged punch.

?...Uh. Well... there?s no way they coulda missed us.? the princess began, fascinated by the marvelous army below her. Each and every one of them was adorned with armor of white, silver, and gold. The legions carried a wide range of weapons, from long swords to halberds. The weapons were made of various precious metals encrusted with jewels, and despite their strictly ceremonial appearance, somehow Bra doubted that they were merely for show, ?Kami and Uub are together... I don?t recognize anyone else.? she lied, ?We should find them and figure out what?s going on.?

?And ignore this massive army right underneath us?!? Zarbon protested.

?She?s right.? Vegeta retorted, ?It?s impossible that they haven?t seen us yet. If they were a threat, then we?d see them fighting against whoever?s in the tower. It?s easier to get information from people we can trust, anyhow. No need to worry if they were feeding you lies.?

The prince?s daughter tore downward through the air, crashing into the ground just before the tower?s entrance. Her boots dug deep into the earth which splintered outward around her feet. Brushing her cyan hair out of her eyes yet again, she took hold of the door handle, pushing it open. The girl stepped into the tower, quickly climbing the stairs, as there was nothing else worth noting in the entrance. Bra bounded up the steps, skipping two or three at a time as she raced upward, following the staircase?s tight spiral. Her father and Zarbon were nowhere to be seen, but she did get a head start.

Finally, the weary hybrid arrived at an entrance. The door was ajar, as if someone had recently passed through it. The nano-technology of Bra?s scouter came to life, shifting the hue of her eyes from blue to a mix of pink and red. Raditzu?s name came up. He was less than twenty meters from her. Another signature was on the floor, almost directly in front of her, while Uub, Kami, and someone else registered as well, but the information displayed over her eyes stated that they were above. Probably on another floor. The cyan haired girl cautiously stepped through the doorway, breathing a sigh of relief. The long haired saiyan was in another room.

?Greetings.? the word startled Bra. An aged man stood in the center of the large room, his dull eyes appraising the girl who had entered his abode, ?Ah, yes. You?re Bra. You can call me the watchman.?

?H-How do you know my name?? the girl would have placed far more force behind her words, but wished to remain quiet so as to avoid another encounter with the fearsome saiyan who was only a few feet from her.

?I know everything that goes on ?round this here rock. You?re looking for your friends, right? They?re upstairs.? the watchman replied, motioning to the staircase behind him. The slender demi saiyan mumbled her bewildered thanks, heading up the stairs she was directed to. The distracted girl nearly ran into dark haired man, stepping back in surprise as two others came into view.

?Uub? Kami!?? she exclaimed, her face suddenly lighting up for the first time in what felt like forever. Her dark skinned friend looked strange. His eyes were blue and his hair was the color of silver, but it was undoubtedly him.

?Hey, Bra.? he replied, ?How ya doin???

?I?m okay ...thanks.? the girl replied, giving her friend a hug before stepping away from him once again, ?I?m glad you?re still here. Good to see you too, Kami.?

?Same here, kid.? came the elder namek?s reply. He flashed a crooked grin at her, which elicited a short giggle from the newly-arrived halfling.

?Oh.? the princess? attention returned to the one that she had nearly crashed into, ?Hi. My name?s Bra.? she greeted, extending her hand to the dark haired man. Bra took notice of his tail, he was a saiyan.

?Reijin.? he curtly responded, making no move to shake her hand. After a moment, the girl simply dropped her hand to her side, her face screwing into a look of aggravation, which she made no attempt to hide. A scathing comment would have followed, but he appeared to be a friend of Uub and Kami?s, and that fact, coupled with the fact that there were far more pressing matters to attend to, spared him the girl?s wrath.

?Can one of you guys please tell me what the hell?s going on out there?? Bra demanded, her voice sounded far more pleading than she wanted it to.

?Angels.? Uub stated dryly, ?I?m not even kidding. I know it sounds nuts, but we got this angel Gabriel on the roof, he summoned the army down there. Apparently all hell?s about to break loose and we?re caught in the middle of it.?

?So... what?? Bra paused as she caught sight of Vegeta and Zarbon each taking positions on either side of her. The girl nodded to the two before continuing, ?You?re saying there?s an army of angels here. Why the hell would they be here??

?You remember the monster we fought in the arena?? it was Vegeta who answered. He didn?t wait for a response as he continued, ?The people of this asteroid call him Satan.?

?Yeah. Him and the zombies have a lot to do with this.? Kami agreed, ?It?s hard to tell where the lines between the reality and the publicity stunts is... but whatever?s going on, Brim and the rest of us are gonna be caught up in it, like Uub said. Gabriel says war?s coming. ...Let's go inside.?

****INSERT KAMI'S POST HERE****

?War...? the princess savored the idea for a moment. Everything they had worked for... everything Trunks had died for... it would all be lost if she was caught up in a war, ?Zarbon.? she stated upon finding the man, ?Give me the disc.?

The teal warrior offered an expression of confusion, but did as he was told. He withdrew the precious CD, handing it over to the 12-year-old youth, ?What are you planning, Bra?? he inquired.

?We got to find what?s on this disc before the war starts. It could give us some crazy advantage and I want to make sure that we dig up everything on that fucker Brim so we can bring him down before anyone else dies.? the replied, her tones filled with barely contained anger. Her fists shook and her teeth were bared, but nothing more. Instead, she placed the disc in a capsule, and affixed it to her belt, and launched up the next set of stairs which led to the roof, careful to avoid the enormous beam of light which leapt from it. Another angel stood upon the top of the tower, but he wasn?t important to the girl. Vegeta and Zarbon had leapt up onto the roof as well. Bra shouted to them over her shoulder.

?I?m going to the hospital! There?s got to be a computer there! You can follow me if you want, but there's a lot happening here, too, so it's up to you, I guess.? the princess tried to act tough and uncaring, but secretly hoped that at least one of them would accompany her as she rocketed skyward, heading back to where she was relatively sure the hospital was.

Warning: This post is VERY mature, and it only involves Raditzu and I. Please do NOT read it if you are not into mature/passionate/sexual stuff ^^ You have been warned! We were given permission for this.

The kiss lingered like a vivid dream. She knew that she had been moody, selfish, distant for too long. Why had she put him through that tumult of mood swings? Then, maybe he did deserve the treatment she delivered. He had been too eager for his own good, and she had felt like little more than a friend. Had she expected too much of him? Perhaps she had, even after knowing him this long, perhaps he just didn?t have the kind of devotion she needed. She unclasped her digits and let a pale, cold hand run against the side of his face. Their lips were close, barley touching, she could feel his warm breath. Her cool eyes remained half closed, but stared into his eyes, a look of want. Raditzu felt his body move backwards, but not in retreat. The door supported his larger frame, while the android stood on the tips of her toes to brush against his lips once more. Her pulse quickened, a hot flush washed down her petite body. She could feel his strong hands against her sides; the feeling of his touch seemed almost magnified. Everything to her was but a haze, except that one simple kiss, maybe that was all she needed. Her arms came up to wrap around his neck, beneath his long black hair. So close, she could feel his heart beat, feel the warmth of his body mix with hers. She made to kiss him, finally, and kiss him with much more than a simple gentle touch of the lips.

?Babe?? Her eyes were closed, but she could feel his hands gripping against her. He knew what she wanted, now, but did he want it too? His word had interrupted her, but no matter. She used a hand and pushed the back of his head so that their parted lips connected. A muffled, pleased sound ensued, but the origin was unknown. He pulled her even closer, if that was possible. He brought a hand up to caress her cheek, and then they parted. His thumb played against her bottom lip, while she looked up with a look he had only seen once before. ?You sure??? his words trailed off into a world of oblivion. Of course she was sure, wasn?t she? He need not see if his suspicions were correct, she gave a simple and easy reply. Her lips slid around his thumb, while her nimble tongue gave way to teasing the appendage. ?Oh God?? Yes, that was answer enough. They had waited long enough, why it had never occurred sooner was a mystery to them. The timing was perfect, wasn?t it? Long feelings of displeasure toward him, building up, until finally they both let it end with a kiss. It couldn?t end there, not now, a burning feeling deep inside wanted more than that kiss.

She let his thumb go and pushed against him so that once more their faces were very close to each other. ?Take me Raditzu, here and now, make love to me, and don?t make me beg.? His mouth opened a little, perhaps he was shocked. One hand was still against the back of his head, her fingers threaded through his hair, grasping it in a fit of passion. Her words were on fire; her voice had an edge of suffering to it. They had come a long way, from their first kiss, to her awkward lustful training on Kaiousama's. That had been nothing, hardly worth remembering. The new power had caused her circuits to fry, and left Raditzu to likely wonder what had happened. No, that was all different from this. This was the real thing; she could no longer suppress the passion that had bubbled uncontrollably beneath the surface of her being. She felt Raditzu suck in a deep breath, while her craving eyes looked upwards. Her lips trembled, a single word spilled from its captivity. ?Please.? It was enough, they both knew when there was no turning back.

Raditzu gripped the whimpering android about the waist and lifted her from the ground. He carried her toward the bed, while she fought to take advantage of his lips once more. He leaned his head back, purposely teasing his already tortured android. ?Now, now, there?s a time for everything.? He said in an authority tone. He set her on the bed, and then realized that maybe it would be better to not provoke her so. She overpowered him by surprise as he was leaning over her sitting figure. The world turned up and over, their positions reversed. Now the nymphet straddled the distraught Saiya-Jin and planted a rather sultry kiss against his lips, a sign of defeat for him. He sat up, the girl still in his lap, but there would likely be no way to get her clinging body off from her current arrangement. Well, not like it bothered him any. There was still the matter of his clothing, which the overly heated woman was fighting to deal with. She pulled at his armor in a fit. ?Hey, hey!? Raditzu grasped her hands; she looked up like a wounded child. ?There?s no need to rush, babe?you might break something.? He was right, she was being over zealous. He pulled off his armor with ease, which made her wonder why she couldn?t. She let a hand trail down his well toned chest, letting herself calm down, yet maintaining a balance of affection. She let her fingers trace against the various battle scars, while he remained silent. She slowly lifted her gaze and let it linger on his face. ?I?m going to take a wild stab in the dark?? Her gaze continued, but she listened. ?You?ve never done this before have you??? It was genuine curiosity, and she didn?t blame him from wondering. Her actions spoke louder than words.

?Do you remember when we were in the Room of Spirit and Time?? He nodded, but she could tell he didn?t understand. ?I told you no one had ever told me they loved me, no one had ever cared, but then I met you.? Recognition sparked in his eyes. ?So, I know what this burning feeling is, this passionate desire, but not what satisfaction is?what pleasure is.? He pulled her closer, for a moment she was confused. Would he prefer she knew what she was doing? Obviously a man like him would have done this many times. She was just an Android; so many things were still new to her, including the act of love.

?Then?? he started and lifted her chin lightly. ?Let?s do it right, I want this to be very good for you.? It sounded strange coming from him, but maybe he was finally being open with his feelings. He plucked her from his lap and shifted so that he could set her back on the bed. Although she had seen him nude a few times before, she could not help but blush innocently as he removed his pants. This was different; she was finding herself a little shy in this situation. He moved toward her, above her, and then shifted them both so that they were more onto the bed. His arm found its way around her upper back, and his lips lightly touched her own. ?God, you?re beautiful, Eighteen.? He said, almost a whisper. Her cheeks reddened. His body was so close, closer than ever before. He kissed her; she felt the heat burning stronger, her body shivered. He was now directly above her, they shared a loving look, a passionate look. His mouth moved to her ear, his body moved forward, her eyes widened, and for a moment time seemed endless. ?This might hurt??

His low soft words were the last thing she heard as a multitude of feelings ripped through from her nether regions and caused an unfamiliar cry to escape from her lips. Was this it? This wash of strange pain enveloping her body? She shook, remembering what he said, knowing this could not be all love making was. He had hardly penetrated her, and now she shivered uncontrollably. She felt a hesitance in him, though he did not move from his position, she could sense his doubt. ?Don?t stop?? a simple command, her lips touched his ear lobe, his mouth still against her own. It was enough to make him continue, and cause another stricken yelp to bubble from her mouth. He moved to look down at her, not wanting to hurt her, but was only met with a look of stubborn love. ?Please?? Maybe it was a final show of giving up, maybe it was the desire and pleasure boiling within his body, or it could have even been the primal aggressive instincts within his blood. Raditzu answered her plea with a single, long thrust that made her cry out much more than before. Small tears squeezed out from the corners of her eyes, but she would not let him stop. This had to be done, it was inevitable.

The Saiya-Jin straightened up, his hands planted on each side of the android. He was in her, deep within her velvety walls. She clenched her jaw, stared at him, as if she were mystified. Sweat was beginning to bead against their bodies, even though they were above the covers. The hot desire pulsed through their bodies uncontrollably. He stared down at her, his hips moving, his member slowly sliding out. The feeling washed through her, and a simple whimper came through while her begging eyes bore through him. He was teasing her, which was just like him. Was that a smirk? He thrust his hips forward making her mouth open and a gasp issue forth. Raditzu suppressed his own signs of pleasure, his eyes half closed during his mischievous actions. A fit of primal passion finally snapped in him, he could not hold back his cravings. He slid in and out of her with no more hesitation. Her pain gave way to pleasure, which flooded through in waves. The sensations were new to her, which drove her wild. Her arms reached around his torso, she trembled beneath him, her cries turning into short yelps and gasps. His hips ground against hers, his large member delved deep into her tight hole. The pleasure rocked her body, her own hips moved upward to meet his thrusts.

?This?feeling?uh?? She broke into another fit of shivers and convulsions. Raditzu?s breathing came haggard, his lips touched against her jaw line and her neck. A low groan emitted from his throat. ?I feel?I?m going to snap?? Her words were high, whine like. Her moans turned into whimpers, his rhythmic pumping triggered an explosion of feelings from below. He slowed, his hot shaft suddenly caught within the clenching of her vagina as she fought against her first orgasm. He reveled in the expression of utmost pleasure that was plastered on the androids face, her upper lip twitched with a fanatic smile. She opened her eyes and gazed up at him, her mouth still ajar with that silly grin. ?Rad?? He cut her off with a deep kiss, and made her muffle a pleasing groan as he continued his duty to satisfy her.

Between gasps she incoherently rambled. Suddenly the world began to spin and she was finding herself dizzily sitting upright. ?Oh?? She said, his manhood still well within her warm flesh. Her Saiya-Jin lover pulled her tight figure closer, his arms around her waist and his mouth delivering hot sensual kisses. Simple logic kicked in and she began to ride her hips against him, it was her turn to work. One rough hand found itself grasping one of her supple breasts, causing her nerves to spark. Her body moved of its own accord, thrusting against his member, feeling it sliding in and out of her wet snatch. Her body tightened and her hair fell into her eyes. The android trembled once more and exploded with pleasure. ?God?damn?babe?? Raditzu spoke for the first time since they had begun. She touched his cheek, her body slowed and she rocked against him. He gripped her harder, his fingers digging into her flesh. She arched her back, her hair falling down like a golden waterfall. Raditzu nibbled against her exposed nipples, driving her wild with ecstasy. ?Eighteen?? She slumped against him, a small moan pressed against his ear. Suddenly he shook and she was once more against the cool bed. Her companion was losing himself within the pleasure, and aggressively pinned her beneath him. His teeth clenched as the android squirmed and moaned hysterically against his assaulting thrusts. He grunted, groaned, and pounded against her harder. Her fragile lips cried out his name, while her body shook from the vicious change in their pace. She looked up at him with weak eyes, watching as the pleasure flooded his features, his head tilted and the last force of his manhood sent them both tumbling over the edge of pleasure. A guttural sound came from Raditzu while 18 broke into a fit of pleased moans. She gasped as the sensation of his sex juices filling her radiated from below. She muttered his name again and felt his tight grip loosen against her wrists. Wetness dribbled downward and the girl shivered while he disengaged from her.

The passion watered down. The Saiya-Jin warrior moved from above 18 and pulled her into his arms while lying on their sides. She still shivered against him; she nuzzled his bare battle scarred chest with her nose and lips while he stroked her hair. They needed no words. They had finally made love; they had let their passion collide. While everyone else was busy worrying about zombies and angles, they had fought through a battle of emotions and love. She had never felt such pain and such pleasure in all of her life. There was no one else she would have rather done it with. She closed her eyes, her body in a state of fuzzy warmth. ?I love you, Raditzu.? She whispered and placed a kiss against his chest. That?s all that needed to be said.

The ringing of thunderous roars echoed throughout the valleys and various plains that were scattered around this god-forsaken asteroid as the countdown reached it?s mark of zero. It was like a chain reaction, the explosions started at one of the building, and began pounding it?s way through the center and breaking out into the sides of the base when the need arose. Shards of metal began flaring upward like fireworks, scattering the atmosphere with glistening silver, unbelievable to witness with the naked eye. Vegeta couldn?t bear to break away from it, almost in a hypnotic state watching these flames rise up in the air the same way his anger rose up in his heart.

At the end, an explosion of unimaginable proportions declared itself ruler of all. It was as if someone had dropped the mother of all bombs right there point blank in front of them. The smoke rose up in the shape of a mushroom, yet the blast was no where near the extremity of the nuclear type. The shockwave however, pulsed outward with incredible force, blowing past through the three fighters hard, almost blowing them back onto the ground. Their heels found their way into the dirt, aiding to their stability in order to not lose a battle with nothing but air. The prince shaded his eyes from the shards of metal which soon followed, and heard the sudden oomph of his daughter falling backwards onto the ground.

Vegeta watched as dark flames of smoke covered the once called military base. It found it?s way into the air, their surroundings, and the various plant life around them, easily choking whatever air they thought they once received out of them. The transformer held out his arm towards Vegeta?s daughter who reluctantly took it, being pulled quickly back onto her feet without hesitation. He didn?t make any statements but continued his glare into the darkened horizon.

?Thanks? He heard his daughter respond to the help.

?No problem.? Zarbon replied, it was the least he could do, even after the fact he was just before putting his life into defending her from the raging bullets. Vegeta glanced over to the two as they exchanged their words of gratitude. Perhaps it was the fact that he didn?t know the transformer that well, but the awkward silence that came afterward didn?t settle well with his stomach. His vision returned to the tattered ruins and decided to question their future.

?Where to now?? His voice seemed to be hazed out from the crackling flames before them, but his question was undeniably sent towards the transformer, as he was the next adult in line. No doubt Bra was smart for her age, but this was one of those times that lives could be at stake if the wrong decisions were made at the wrong times.

?I don?t...? Zarbon began before his eyes fixated on something in the distance, ?Hey! Look at that!? his arm extended outward and his index finger began pointing at a bright pillar of light that seemed to reach up into the heavens. A slight gasp peeped out of his cyan haired daughter.

There was something odd about this pillar, perhaps something that Vegeta knew he was supposed to do. He began to think back, and remembered his previous meeting with the angel Gabriel. Something about a war between Heaven and Hell was mentioned, but they were told to go to the watch tower. That must have been it; the light must have been coming from the watch tower, that?s the only explanation. And if it was true, then Vegeta knew he?d once again meet up with his Saiya-jin ally Reijin.

?There?s... a lot of power out there...? Bra interrupted his thoughts. Vegeta began to use both his ability to sense ki and his scouter lenses to read the various power levels that inhabited the light. It was strange, there were many familiar ki?s, but there were some that he?s never felt before, or maybe just haven?t felt in a long time. Zarbon nodded in agreement as he too seemed to be struck in awe at the magnificent sight. Vegeta didn?t say anything, yet stood there with a look of neutrality. Once in a thinking state of mind, Vegeta was one of very few words, but you could almost always read what he means by the dull expression on his face.

He then decided it, ?I say we go there.? Vegeta knew that if anything else was to help them on their way, it?d be finding out what was going on at the watch tower. Perhaps not only would they find a few more answers to their questions, but they might even get a chance to fight worthy opponents in order to keep their knowledge of fighting in real combat.

?Let?s go.? Bra agreed, no doubt wanting to find out more than what she knows right now. Her aura consumed her body and she shot off into the sky after giving the following orders to her familiar pet which has still been left unnamed. Vegeta and Zarbon continued their flight, passing the young fighter knowing she?d be right behind them. The prince had refused to go at his top speed in order for his daughter to catch up with them, besides, if he did, he?d end up losing Zarbon in the trek as well.

?Hey! Sorry.? Bra apologized to the two. Her father couldn?t for the life of him figure out why she was apologizing, but he just shrugged it off. ?Any idea what we?re getting ourselves into this time?? Was she scared? Fear wasn?t something to dwell on, but then again, how many angels have you seen in a life time stating war between Heaven and Hell was about to ensue?

?Nope? The transformer answered unknowingly. Vegeta just let out a slight grunt, not really caring what they were about to get themselves into. Either way, the power that they held would be enough to get them out of any shit they fell into. Bra sighed, perhaps thinking about the future of her welfare, or the welfare of others. A plan was something that wasn?t about to be given out, it was a surprise for everyone.

Vegeta suddenly felt it, the sharp pain in his shoulder began to react again as his senses picked up Raditzu?s ki. There was no doubt about it, the long haired Saiya-jin was at the watch tower, and more than likely not alone. His thoughts trailed back to their fight in the arena, his blood boiled knowing that it was one of the best fights he had encountered since his return to his Saiya-jin life of battle. Would he be engaged again once he arrived at the tower? Did he want to fight again? The words that Raditzu spoke to him just before they halted their fight rang through his head. Trunks was dead, and Bra was all he had left. He had to leave his selfishness at he door, and think about those who need him the most.

Vegeta?s eyes caught glimpse of a large tower ahead of them. ?Up there. A tower,? he noted to the rest of the group. They began their descent to the ground when they noticed a large army standing in front of the tower. But this wasn?t a normal army that they peered upon, there was a certain glowing fragrance to them. Who was their leader though? They stood like statues, waiting for orders to come from somewhere nearby.

?They... they look like angels!? Bra shouted out with amazement. Apparently she was right along side with the two; never before laying eyes on living angels before.

?Gabriel...? Vegeta muttered under his breath, remembering the angel he had encountered at the market.

?Huh?? Bra questioned to her father, but he gave no response, ?...Uh. Well... there?s no way they coulda missed us.? the princess continued. Her eyes was still glowing with a sort of shocking statement all in their own. As Vegeta scanned the army of angels, he noticed they were armored with magnificently jeweled armor, and glorious weaponry of kings. It was an amazing sight that you?d only believe if you saw it with your own eyes. ?Kami and Uub are together... I don?t recognize anyone else.? Bra noted, ?We should find them and figure out what?s going on.?

?And ignore this massive army right underneath us?!? Zarbon couldn?t help but argue the fact of the hundreds of soldiers beneath them.

?She?s right.? Vegeta agreed, ?It?s impossible that they haven?t seen us yet. If they were a threat, then we?d see them fighting against whoever?s in the tower. It?s easier to get information from people we can trust, anyhow. No need to worry if they were feeding you lies.? His eyes returned to the tower before them. Raditzu was in there, and no doubt he felt Vegeta?s presence as well. He watched as his daughter barreled downward towards the entrance way and blowing open the doors with quickness. Her footsteps took flight, and she rocketed up the stair way with intense haste. The prince just exchanged looks with his transformer of an ally and they slowly descended their way onto the ground. They began to walk up the twirling steps of the tower behind his daughter which was now long gone out of sight. She may have been in a hurry, but for Vegeta, there was no computer this time counting down towards their destruction to make him pump his legs. His life was not at stake?for now at least.

His trek was at a slow pace, enjoying the scenery as he walked up the dull stairway to heaven. The windows that were patched every so often along the walls shown the same thing over and over again. It was the scenery of always, the asteroid, depressing and dull. The only thing of real interest was this enormous army of angels that stood at basically attention in front of the tower. There were hundreds of them, perhaps more than they could even count using their eyes. Upon entering one of the floors, the sense became stronger, it was Raditzu. Vegeta?s steps slowed on queue, and he began walking forwards, examining the various doors that loitered themselves across the hallway. He stopped, and turned his body to the right. Zarbon was curious as he watched the Saiya-jin prince examine the door way at a close range. He didn?t know what he was up to, but Vegeta knew very well. Raditzu was in this room, on the other side of the door, his rival was there. The Saiya-jin warrior reached out his hand for the door handle, but was abruptly interrupted by an unfamiliar voice.

?You must be looking for your daughter.? The voice startled Vegeta to the point of extinction. His eyes shifted over to an old man who stood in the center of the room, his face was almost lit up with life, quite contradicting to his age however.

?What do you know of my daughter old man?? Vegeta took a brief step away from Raditzu?s confined doorway.

?I know a lot of things about the inhabitants of this rock. Your daughter Bra, and your friends are upstairs.? The aged fellow smiled with a look of sincerity. There was no way he could be lying to the prince, not with that look at least. His finger pointed over to the staircase behind him as if he was a life sized map or something. Vegeta grunted as his eyes returned to the door next to him. He let out a low growl and began walking past the old man of the watch tower. Zarbon continued behind him.

?You know she needs you now more than ever.? The old man suddenly blurted out towards the prince. Vegeta stopped, his eyes staring hard into the ground. A vein slowly faded into existence on his fore head as he slowly turned towards the old man.

?Excuse me?? His question was valid for the state of mind that he was in.

?Bra. She needs you Vegeta. She needs a father.? This old guy really had some balls to approach a Saiya-jin prince like that, but the words took their role and sunk deep into Vegeta?s mind. He knew it was true, just as Raditzu knew it was true. It was the same words that he heard during their fight in the arena. A girl needs her father more than anything else, and it was something that the prince had neglected for so many years of her life.

?Yeh?? Vegeta finally replied with before continuing his steps up the stairs behind him. Every step creaked up the way, it was obvious that this tower wasn?t built yesterday. It had the signs of worn, as did everything else on this damned asteroid. Upon entering the next level, they caught glimpse of Bra talking to three fighters with powerful energy pulsating from their bodies. Vegeta knew all three of them; Uub, Kami, and Reijin.

?So... what?? Bra was obviously in a conversation with the three as Zarbon and he took their spots on both sides of the 12 year old girl. She greeted them with a slight nod and continued her sentence, ?You?re saying there?s an army of angels here. Why the hell would they be here??

?You remember the monster we fought in the arena?? Vegeta couldn?t help but answer, he knew the answer, and he wanted to let it out, ?The people of this asteroid call him Satan.?

?Yeah. Him and the zombies have a lot to do with this.? Kami agreed with the Saiya-jin prince, ?It?s hard to tell where the lines between the reality and the publicity stunts is... but whatever?s going on, Brim and the rest of us are gonna be caught up in it, like Uub said. Gabriel says war?s coming. ...Let's go inside.?

The three plus his daughter began walking inside when Reijin suddenly stopped and looked over at Vegeta. ?Coming?? He questioned.

?No. I?ve got a few things to deal with at the moment? Vegeta walked over to Reijin and placed his hand on his shoulder. ?It?s good to see that you?re not dead.? An expression of friendship exchanged between them using the casual nod.

?Not that easily.? Reijin smirked before turning and following Kami into another room. The prince began to think about what he was doing here in this tower. This war that was about to take place. Raditzu downstairs, just below him, only a few feet away. He could end this now, but wait, Raditzu had shared a senzu bean earlier with him. If it wasn?t for that, Bra might not have been alive. Maybe Vegeta himself wouldn?t have been alive, but perhaps mercy was at hand. Then again, mercy wasn?t a common thing shared between Saiya-jin warriors.

Vegeta had no idea that Kami, the one who took part in his death, was battling the insane Kamiccoro Diaomun within the confinements of his own mind in the other room. It has been long since the death of Vegeta, and Kami has since changed from the evil dark thing he once was. There were even a few occasions that the old namek had helped Vegeta in the time of need after the year of his death. This was Kami?s way of getting ready, as everyone had their own style for preparing.

It wasn?t long until they were finished, Vegeta found himself so wrapped up in his own thoughts that he missed his chance to run up a sneak attack on Raditzu. The warriors came back out and gathered around.

?Zarbon.? Bra approached the changeling, ?Give me the disc.? Vegeta?s eyes shifted downward to his daughter. What was she planning?

The transformer had a look of confusion on his face, but pulled out the cd of Brim?s information and handed it over to Vegeta?s daughter. ?What are you planning, Bra?? he wondered diligently.

?We got to find what?s on this disc before the war starts. It could give us some crazy advantage and I want to make sure that we dig up everything on that fucker Brim so we can bring him down before anyone else dies.? Her reply was sincere no doubt, she wanted to find out about Brim, and crush him before he knew what time the sun rose the next morning. She had taken the cd and placed it within the walls of a capsule, kudos to Capsule Corporation for their help on this one. It attached onto her belt, and she rocketed upward towards the roof where another angel stood within the pillar of light. Vegeta and the transformer who had been with them since the arena followed her to the rooftop and gazed outward as Bra hollered over her right shoulder.

?I?m going to the hospital! There?s got to be a computer there! You can follow me if you want, but there's a lot happening here, too, so it's up to you, I guess.? Her aura flared up and she shot off towards the horizon. Vegeta began to think quickly as he turned back towards the stairway downward. Raditzu was down there, his rival, and perhaps another battle against the powerful warrior. It would be magnificent, every battle against the beast of a Saiya-jin proved to only make him stronger. He ached for it, until the voice of the old man reappeared in his head.

?She needs a father?

His eyes then spun around back towards the shrinking Bra. His aura flared up and he knew what he had to do. Instantly his body vanished, and he was off after his youngest child to ensure her safety and welfare, rather than staying, and causing a selfish rage against the long haired Saiya-jin warrior.

The minutes since Seventeen had arrived at the Watchtower had quickly become hours. Following his redemption challenge, the machine-hybrid had bumped into his human acquaintance from the Storage Facility. The two decided to pass the time by talking about their pasts inside the bottom floor of the tower. There Android Seventeen had listened to Alexander?s sad story. Apparently, the man had lost everything when Brim drafted him for his staff. The entire tale was one that deeply disturbed the cybernetic warrior. Being confused and unknowing about your past simply paled in comparison to having your wife and children torn to pieces as you were forced to watch.

As the two tried to get the most out of the lack of action outside, neither of them noticed the mist that was slowly drifting into the room underneath the front door. The fog silently traveled across the floor, and a shadowed figure assimilating behind the seated android. Seventeen noticed his associate?s eyes widen but did not draw a conclusion for several more beats. Alexander leaped from his seat, brandishing his small energy pistol.

?Move!? the human shrieked, his trigger finger was itching, but he couldn?t do anything with the machine-hybrid in the line of fire. Android Seventeen pushed away from the chair and rolled across the ground. He heard a single round discharge in the silent chamber, and then he heard a corpse hit the ground a second later with a resonating thud. Panicky, the cybernetic warrior kicked off the ground and turned around to find out what just transpired. The first thing Seventeen noticed was his new human friend, lying in a spreading pool of his blood. Alexander?s face was a memory?replaced by a pulpy mass of blood and bone. Standing above him, clutching a massive ki weapon, was a very familiar face.

?Vapor?? the machine-hybrid muttered. The triclops may have masked his appearance using his shapechanging powers, but the ki signature the android?s visor was displaying was a very familiar number. Disguised as one of the angels, Vapor blew the smoke away from his heavy ki rifle and leveled it with Android Seventeen?s face.

?Say goodnight, Seventeen,? the bio-android cackled. The machine-hybrid watched the energy flare to life inside the barrel of the gun, but he was not about to fall victim to some toy. With a sideways leap, the android narrowly avoided the massive slug of energy that exploded from the rifle. Seventeen was off the ground in a split-second, his speed had grown substantially since the last time he had engaged Vapor, and it seemed his enhanced abilities had bewildered his opponent. The bio-android spun to confront the cybernetic warrior but received only a fist to his jaw. Grunting loudly, the triclops crumbled into his gaseous form in an attempt to escape. However, there was no way in hell that Android Seventeen was going to allow Byrk?s lieutenant to escape. If the machine-hybrid could finish Vapor now, the threat of Byrk being released from the underworld would be gone forever.

Picking up the avatar?s blade from the floor, the android started after the viscous cloud of fog vanishing below the door. Outside, some of the celestial crowd turned their heads to watch the seemingly spastic machine-hybrid as he chased seemingly nothing. Android Seventeen darted over the small hills that filled the wastelands, but just as he was leaping over a small chasm, he realized that Vapor had vanished. Landing on the other side of the gorge, the cybernetic warrior tried to sense his opponent?s ki, but his abilities lacked the training to detect the ambush. The triclops? heel instantly broke the skin on the back of the android?s neck, and the insane amount of force sent Seventeen erratically bowling across the dirt. With a groan, the machine-hybrid flipped back up after a few yards and stabbed the long sword forward to prevent another assault. Vapor?s mouth curved up into a foul smirk as the bio-android advanced and impaled himself onto the sword. The monster continued to walk towards his rival, traveling farther and farther down the length of the blade.

Byrk?s lieutenant cackled as the trail of blood he left behind grew thicker. It was an arrogant display of power, but Android Seventeen was not one to be easily intimidated?at least by cowards. Letting go of the blade with one hand, the cybernetic warrior quickly created a yellow saber of ki. With a rapid slash, Vapor?s head rolled off his shoulders, only to be caught in his hands a few moments later. Unrelenting, the android threw the weapon aside and stepped towards his headless adversary. Yanking the sword back through the disabled bio-android, Seventeen kicked Vapor in the chest. The force knocked the injured murdered to the ground. Moving to capitalize on the shift in momentum, the machine-hybrid struck nothing but air with his next sword strike. Screaming an obscenity, Android Seventeen tried to locate the retreating bio-android.

?You can?t stop me, Seventeen,? the android spun around to deal with Vapor. The warrior was still half-gaseous, half-solid. Therefore, his form was still solid enough to resemble what he normally appeared like but was vaporous enough that his body constantly shifted and wafted in the tranquil air. With the air of dense mist around him, the bio-android resembled a phantom, ?I will find the eye, and I will free my master from perdition?don?t get in my way, or I will be forced to kill you,? before the cybernetic warrior could attack once again, Vapor completely dissipated into the afternoon air.

Defeated and disappointed, Android Seventeen let out a heavy sigh. He removed his bandana and patted the wound on his neck with it, but as gingerly as he tried to be, the dirty fabric still made the contusion sting. Not wanting to aggravate the painful injury even more, the machine-hybrid leaped back across the gorge and made his way back to the tall tower in the distance. He was divided between helping the army of angels against Brim or hunting down Vapor. Who was he to decide who the greater evil was? Both had committed the most heinous of crimes, but Seventeen just couldn?t bring himself to draw a conclusion. As he neared the watchtower; however, he decided that he would leave Vapor to Paige and Leo. Something had to be done to prevent the deaths of everyone on Kala, and the cybernetic warrior was damn sure he would make certain that something got done. Even if he had to forfeit his life in the process like many before him, he knew in his heart he had to do something?anything.

OOC: Kinda short compared to what I've been doing in the last few days, but I wanted three posts, and I was kind of at a loss for ideas.

Determination. She told herself that was what she was feeling. It was a lie, but it was a lot more comfortable than the truth. In fact, the girl felt sick to her stomach, as though plagued by some mythical virus which wrought havoc throughout her increasingly fragile body. The pangs of fatigue were almost familiar by now, but by no means were they welcome. The cyan haired princess wasn?t flying as fast as she could, instead, she was hardly expending effort as she soared through the blackening sky.

Bra?s thoughts returned to the events that had just passed. Meeting this ?Reijin? chump, who turned out to be some arrogant fool. She wondered how he would act if he knew who it was he was addressing, completely oblivious to the fact that he was one of her father?s closer allies. More importantly, her mind fell upon that of Uub and Kami. It was a welcome surprise to run into her dark skinned friend; she hadn?t even known he was a part of the tournament. Happily, her ?big brother? was alive and well, although in that unnerving silver haired form. The power that radiated from him was intense, but most bewildering of all was how that power felt. Although it was unmistakably Uub, the idea that he could have been somebody else constantly pervaded her mind. Finally, she simply attributed it to her having to adjust to her inexplicably expanded ki sense, and moved on.

Kami. The elder namekian who had saved her on more than one account. Only now did she realize just how much she missed the old warrior. He always managed to lighten the mood, no matter how dreary it became, and his strength was one that likely rivaled Raditzu?s own. But despite that, she didn?t fear his power. Maybe she trusted Kami even more than she knew. It was and odd conclusion, but the old alien was one of the first people she?d met in her travels. She hoped that they would get the chance to catch up in the near future.

She had been so occupied with the past, that she failed utterly to hear the call of her name. Even more disconcertingly, her sixth sense -which usually operated independent of Bra?s focus- failed to react to the encroaching source of power.

?Bra!? the word broke her concentration, but didn?t quite register within the girl?s mind. She looked over her shoulder, taking in the sight of the rapidly shrinking tower, some clouds, and a muscular green monster chasing after her. Nothing important. The princess looked ahead once more, her eyelids growing heavy once more. Wait!! Bra snapped her head to the side again to see Cell racing to catch up with her. In a state of half-awake surprise, she came to a halt instantly, waiting for her unlikely friend to near her.

?Cell?? she asked, dumbfounded, ?Where the hell?ve you been?? the hybrid demanded, suddenly screaming at herself mentally to shut up. Her voice was filled with far more concern for the black speckled monstrosity than she wished.

?That actually might interest you.? he replied, either completely misreading the girl?s tone or ignoring it altogether, ?I just came from the hospital. Seeing as how you?re headed that way, I thought that I?d let you in on something of interest.? Bra?s countenance lit up with curiosity, although she was beginning to tire of being sidetracked, even if she was concerned for the creature?s well-being. Not like she?d admit it.

?Yeah? Let?s hear it. We don?t have long.? the princess? words were short. She had to move quickly, and required haste on Cell?s part as well.

?I?ve found Doctor Flagg... our mysterious journal-scribe.? the android answered, a note of triumph evident in his speech, ?I decided to return there after-?

?He?s here?? interrupted Bra, obviously excited at this new turn of events. Cell nodded his confirmation, but both reunited warriors cut their conversation short for the moment as a ki signature caught their attention. It was closing in at an alarming rate, but the heiress knew who it was. She smiled, though the approaching fighter couldn?t hope to see her face. It was her father.

?What?s going on?? he demanded upon his arrival.

?Vegeta.? the genetic experiment replied, turning away from Bra and toward him. The cyan haired hybrid was surprised that he knew her father. She wondered how that came to pass, but once again, her thoughts were interrupted, ?I have some information which might save you two the trip back to that hell-hole.?

Did he know they were going to the hospital?

?Well?? Vegeta demanded, once again.

?Follow me.? Cell replied. Dammit, you green freak! I don?t have time for this ?follow the leader? bullshit! The remnants of the royal family followed the winged monster, heading back from whence they came. The makeshift trio touched down right in front of a human who stood among the ranks of the angels. All eyes were now on them.

?Cell, lad!? came the greeting of the man, clad in a lab coat, ?Back so soon??

?Yes.? a simple answer, ?I?ve brought someone that needs to speak with you. And it?s time we had some answers about what?s going on here... Bra, Vegeta, meet Doctor Flagg...?

?You?re Doctor Flagg?? the princess exclaimed. It was a stupid question, but during this sick and twisted sideshow, Bra was starting to become accustomed to things going wrong in the worst possible fashion. Meeting someone who actually might be worth something was almost a slap in the face.

?In the flesh.? he replied, ?What can I help you with, hm??

?Well... I?m not sure, exactly. We were just on our way to get some information on Brim. ...Uh, you were involved in that VX research, right?? the young warrior inquired. The scientist heaved a deep sigh, rubbing his eyes with a thumb and forefinger, before taking a deep breath. It seemed that the subject was quite difficult for the doctor.

?I... yes. I?m not proud of it... but I was responsible for the alteration to VX.? he answered.

?VX?? Vegeta inquired, wanting to know what they were talking about so as to follow along with the conversation.

?Yes. VX. It?s a terribly potent neurotoxin. Less than a teaspoon could kill you. Even less than that if you inhale it.?

?You mean... even if it gets on your skin... it could kill?? the prince queried, trying to bring everything into absolute clarity.

?Yes. Absorbed through skin or the eyes... breathed in... it doesn?t matter. The only difference is the amount required to become fatal. And in almost every case, far more VX than necessary is used... so I wouldn?t take much stock in the variation anyway.? Doctor Flagg looked down, wringing his hands nervously, ?You see... my team and I made some breakthroughs which eventually led to us using nanites, which are essentially tiny robots, injected into the bloodstream. These robots would work quickly to neutralize VX, and restoring any damaged tissue in the process. However... the enemy combined VX with another chemical which confused the nanites long enough for the neurotoxin to run it?s course.?

?Are you talking about Blue-2?? Bra inquired. A look of shock flashed onto Flagg?s visage, as though she had just made a vulgar comment about his mother.

?Y-Yes. Blue-2 would essentially ?stall? the nanites long enough for the VX to kill it?s victim. However, it quickly wore off, but left the nanites? programming... flawed. They began... restoring and rebuilding the bodies of... of the dead...?

?Zombies.? Cell finished for the doctor, removing the burden of explanation from the haggard man of science, ?There?s more information contained on his PDA. Perhaps reading from it might be...? the android grunted in annoyance, ?Easier on Doctor Flagg.?

?Wait! A PDA?? the demi saiyan perked up, ?Does it play CDs??

?Well, yes. Why?? the scientist was confused. The cyan haired girl quickly withdrew her capsule, allowing it to open in her palm. Once the smoke cleared, a gleaming compact disc sat, suspended on her fingertips.

?This disc has all the files about Brim from the military base on it! We?ve got to know just what?s on here! Give me your PDA, already!? Bra demanded. Doctor Flagg quickly withdrew the large, portable device, clicking open the disc tray. The princess quickly set the CD inside, closing the unit, careful not to scratch the item. Vegeta, Cell, and the doctor crowded around the girl, each one vying for a good vantage point from which to view the small LCD screen on the scientist?s device, ?Okay... here we go.? Bra double clicked the image of a CD on the screen.

There is an inherent problem with the written (and spoken, for that matter) language: it relied on a series of metaphors and comparisons to communicate. One can only explain what ?good? is because they have ?bad? to weigh it against. For nearly all instances, this works just fine. However, every once and a while an event transpires which completely transcends anything that has come before it. That?s when things begin to break down. With nothing to compare it to, the only left running through one?s mind is a jumble of inexplicable emotions. The scholar and philosophers among us would probably try to document, rationalize, or philosophize these feelings, attributing them to some higher truth that they had decided they knew about. Luckily for us, Rad is neither of those.

With a content sigh, Rad looked down at the woman he held gently in his arms. The confusion that had been plaguing his mind had been whittled away by waves of pleasure, euphoria, and? well? more pleasure. The android wriggled in his arms, pushing herself against him further, though how she managed to do that was beyond the long-haired warrior. The only sound that filled the small room was the steady breathing of the two lovers, occasionally broken by a warm sigh, but that was more than enough for the two of them. A short time passed, and Raditzu noticed that 18?s breathing had steadied and she stopped fidgeting. Surprising even himself, Raditzu gracefully slid his arm out from under the slumbering android and slipped carefully off the bed. Grabbing the covers, he pulled them over 18, then turned to fetch his discarded pants.

The saiyan let his eyes wander the room, settling for a moment on his battle-damaged armor. The thought of him getting into a fight at the moment was nothing short of ridiculous. He let the armor lay where it was and slowly pulled his pants on. He idly scanned the room for something to use as a shirt as he cinched the waistband on his remaining article of clothing, but wasn?t terribly worried when nothing really caught his eye. He padded lightly to the door and carefully opened it. With a second though, Raditzu closed the door and placed a finger on door's metal surface. As he drew his finger along the metal, it indented slightly, allowing the saiyan to leave 18 a short message. Happy with the result, Rad opened the door once more. Slipping into the main observatory of the watchtower, Rad let the door latch ever so slowly before letting out a contended sigh. He turned towards the only other figure in the room, the old watchman.

?Sure has been busy around here, eh?? Rad walked to a window and stared off into nothing.

?Its a nice change of pace.? The old man studied the saiya-jin. ?You certainly seem to be in a better mood.?

?Not really.? The saiya-jin let his voice carry a tone of mock disappointment. ?I have this weird craving for a cigarette.?

The old man?s eye widened slightly, but he refrained from commenting.

?Take it easy, pops. Don?t bust a hip fighting off some devil cat.?

With a grin, Rad walked past the old man and headed down the long staircase. The walk down was significantly shorter than the trek he had taken on his little quest to find 18. In his blissful absent mindedness he almost bumped into a woman heading up the tower. He most definitely never seen her before, but that didn?t stop him from apologizing and stepping aside to let her pass. A couple steps behind her was a figure he did, in fact, recognize. The young saiyan full-breed Reijin stopped when he caught sight of Raditzu. The lack of proper attire and ridiculous grin plastered across Rad?s face were probably not something Reijin had considered he would come across, especially considering the view he had already been provided with. Rad smiled and gave the kid a wave.

?Yo!?

Reijin looked up to notice the long haired Saiyan waving at him innocently. He stopped a couple steps away from Rad. Giving a smirk as he crossed his arms, his sarcasm couldn't have gone unnoticed by the deaf.

"Well well... How's Bojack doing?"

?Oh? he?s dead.? Rad?s cheerful smile didn?t even falter. ?The back of his head is plastered against the ground somewhere. It was a pretty good shot, actually.?

?Oh.? Reijin blinked, not expecting such a blunt and? morbidly happy response. ?Well that?s a shame. Now, if you?ll excuse me.?

Rad stepped aside once more, letting the younger saiyan pass without hesitance. That had turned out to be a nice little change. He hadn?t really planned on meeting anyone, let alone anyone he would actually expend the energy to greet. Rad continued on his way, all but skipping down the stairs? not that he?d be caught doing anything as decidedly un-masculine as skipping, mind you. He soon found himself passing an empty half-way point and was practically out the door before he knew it.

The collection of warrior?s outside the watchtower looked to have grown in the time Rad had spent? occupied with 18. He scanned the area briefly, looking for a friendly face. Even a moderately unfriendly face would have sufficed at that point in time. His eyes settled upon the figure of his father, gesturing as he spoke to an angel. Rad strode over to the elder saiyan and greeted him with a simple ?hey, pop.? Bardock turned at the sound of the voice.

?You find your girl?? The father inquired.

?18? Yeah. She was up in the tower.? Rad hooked his thumb toward the top of the structure.

?Where is she?? Bardock looked around, probably having expected to see the female right behind Rad, considering his son?s good mood.

?Oh, she fell asleep. I imagine she?s pretty worn out.? Rad winked before walking past his father with a wave.

A small group, a short distance away from the tower, caught Rad?s attention. Normally, he would have avoided the quartet, but they seemed to be animatedly discussing something. Three of the four Rad recognized immediately. The fourth was a bit of a mystery to the long-haired saiyan. He missed the beginning of their conversation, but caught bits of the end as he approached. They were discussing some kind of virus and something called ?blue-2?. Rad found himself fairly uninterested in all of the above, but it was probably something worth knowing about.

?Okay? here we go.? Bra?s voice reached his ears as he was only a couple steps behind the small group.

?What are we watching??

Rad leaned between the two larger figures in the group, Cell and Vegeta, placing an arm on each of their shoulders to keep himself supported as he leaned forward. Four heads turned to see who had spoken, all of them quickly dawning expressions of surprise. Vegeta and Cell both instinctively jerked away from the bulky warrior, leaving him to stumble forward into the small princess. Rad caught himself from falling and crushing Bra under him. That probably wouldn?t have sat well with Vegeta, anyway. Hell, Rad?s mere presence probably didn?t sit too well with him.

?Woah? feelin? the love.? Rad turned and smiled at both Cell and Vegeta before turning back to Bra, who was holding the small hand-held device and staring at Raditzu with, what appeared to be, a look of sheer confusion. ?So, what we watchin???

They had survived, and all was well. Zarbon breathed a sigh of relief. He didn?t die in the base like he had thought, and had made it out with their information intact as well as their skulls. The transformer was now ready to go after Brim, though the others plans, he wasn?t sure of at all. While he wasn?t paying any attention, Bra had shot into the air, Vegeta following soon afterwards. The words they had said before had fluttered by his ears as if he was deaf. He caught nothing of their conversation. Shrugging his shoulders, the mutant went to follow, assuming they were going to check out the disc.

The sort of thing a guy doesn?t want to miss.

He burst into the skies swirling in the freedom of having a body filled with life after just escaping from a hellhole: though, it was from one hellhole to another. He was now back on the main battleground of Friend or Foe. Surely, their host was out here, but what of the risk of being alone. Zarbon felt his scouter on his face; he flipped the eyepiece on and quickly read a few Ki signatures. Power?s so large they were very hard to miss. ?The prince and his daughter alright.?

The transformer spotted a few beings below him, knowing it was them, he raced down towards them immediately, keeping a standard speed as the air rushed by his ears. He began to think of his friends again. He prayed they were ok and Brim hadn?t been a bloody liar to them, but mostly he thought of himself. Still alone with people he didn?t know at all. Completely alone, though he did have some strength by his side, it didn?t seem really enough. Sighing, the mutant landed in a skid, quite far away from the group, and began to walk over to them, seeing a green monster had joined the group, and the long-haired saiyan he had seen fighting in the arena had just come inbetween them.

Interested, the transformer picked up his walking speed. He saw a man with them as well. Quite a few new characters for the mutant to meet up with. He approached cautiously do to the power he was picking up, nervously moving his quick feet forward. He stopped a few feet from them to let out a holler, but stopped himself before going on with it:

?Thanks for leaving me with the burning building, it was actually quite comfortable by the fire, thank you very much.? Zarbon grunted out sarcastically. ?So, who are these guys, hm?? The transformer tapped his foot slightly as he waited for a response.

OOC: Pray I interrupted no one. Just a quick post, I had little time to write it. Post 3.

Reijin rarely found himself respecting the power of anything that he had met on this world. This situation, however, was a tad bit different. White energy that was very different from the Ki energy that he was used to began to surround the group, cascading them with an ethereal torrent that was definitely not of this world. Reijin?s eyes were closed as he continued trying to maintain his own power. It was a massive struggle, as he rarely allowed his energy reserves to just freely flow as they had been asked, and it denied all of his training in principle. He had unleashed every floodgate within his ability to do so, and he could feel a mixture of raw searing heat flowing through each interweaving blood vessel as an equally reactionary flow of icy cold spread throughout the pores of his skin. It was very difficult to control his power, indeed.

Yet, despite the magnitude of his own abilities radiating into the skies around them, he felt as nothing when compared to the expressive warmth that was surrounding the area. It was the perfect mixture to what he could feel internally, and was almost soothing in nature, encouraging him to maintain his station while alleviating the pain that had begun to swell within his membranes. His veins shifted from the searing pain of before into a light and gentle caressing stream around his entire body. Each subtle shift in the power brought by each additional angel as the entered through the summoning, by means that Reijin could only imagine through closed lids, carried with it an almost enrapturing memoriam, massaging his entire being in ways that he had never felt a presence before.

An almost deafening voice seemed to penetrate the eerie silence of the area, drowning out the only sounds that were emanating from the noisy rippling auras of all of the fighters at the top of the tower. "War is coming! Be ready for them!" Reijin?s eyelids fluttered open without him actually needing them to place Gabriel?s voice to it. He knew from whence the heavenly voice came. "War is coming!" War. Now he would finally see the battle between the heavens and the depths of hell, and yet before he had found himself on this asteroid, he had not imagined such a thing as possible. A soft gasp of breath escape the normally proud, and yet now humbled, warrior as he saw a sight that made his own goals for an instant seem so minor and insignificant.

Great white and golden forms were flying circles within the sky?s reach around the top of the watchtower, creating a formation that seemed as if it would summon its own maelstrom of energy from within it. The forms were magnificent, wielding long silvered lances and grand swords that seemed as if they were carved from ivory as their Godly armor glistened in the spreading sunlight. Reijin did not believe for one moment that it was time for the sun to rise, and yet here he found it rising to the call of the angelic warriors around him. Their voices seemed as one, almost singing in preparation of the battle that was to come, and delving deeper into the being of the hardened and impenetrable warrior that the raven haired boy had become. The grandeur of the scene was nearly too much for him, as in his moment of humility, a moment that seemed to be shared by the very universe around them, he marveled in the epiphany that despite being a warrior of what he believed to be the strongest caliber, he was still a mere boy, a child, an infant, when compared to eternal stretch of the cosmos itself.

The circling seraphs began to descend down to along the midsection of the tower itself for a moment, bringing down a spiral of air into a vacuum that bellowed through the watchtower itself, awakening all within to the enlightenment that the time had indeed come for them to enter into the final battle. In the moments that passed through them, the Saiyan within him emerged slightly, with a new respect, as he smirked arrogantly. His cockiness, however, was not aimed at the angels as a form of being indignant upon them? It was instead a superior smile that was directed at the blazing legions of hell, in an unconscious gesture that betrayed his confidence of the ability of the celestial army that they had summoned to this asteroid. Reverently, he crossed his arms and stood proudly and tall amongst the dervish as it began to rise back into the sky once more. ?Goes to show you how oblivious us mortals really are,? he whispered, his voice strong and yet filled with awe.

The Saiyan then shook his head slightly in a small attempt to clear his thoughts of amazement as he turned to his allies within the top of the tower. His golden aura was still blazing insignificantly around him while his Super Saiyan hair was charged with electricity, raising to the heavens itself, refusing to bow even to the gods. As a gesture of respect, he dismissed his power as he looked towards Uub and Kami. ?But at least now we know for sure Gabriel was not a pawn of Brim?s.? He received a nod from each of the two collectively, and he heard the Namekian speak his own thoughts.

?I definitely feel better about this war now,? Kami spoke, strengthened in fortitude as his own heightened abilities made themselves evident in the way is normally encompassing aura surged through his emerald body. Reijin nodded to him and then heard the Mohawk human at his side whispering a small mantra in an attempt to calm himself.

Reijin gave him a quizzical look and spoke up. ?Wise words from a human, you sure you?re ok?? He looked back at Kami, who simply shrugged unknowingly, and returned his focus to Uub.

?No, I?m fine,? he spoke, almost uncertain of himself. He sighed slightly, finalizing his resolve, and then spoke quietly to the Saiyan. ?I?m just seeing things in a different light.? He looked to the middle of the tower itself and then spoke his thoughts, dismissing the ones that had previously prevailed within him.. ?I say we prepare, maybe the watchmen will have more information for us.?

Reijin, completely understanding the human?s words, found himself with no desire to taunt the fighter, as he found himself in the same wordless motif that the Transcendant himself was in. ?Alright, let?s make our way back inside.?

The three warriors found themselves heading back down into a lower level of the tower into the main room near the bottom. Reijin only widened his eyes in the most casual manner as he noticed a new group of warriors had appeared within, some of them familiar and some of them only familiar in passing. He attempted to label them, but in the ever shifting events around them, more warriors were filing into the doorway as he tried to collect his thoughts. Irrelevant, he assumed, as they were all going to be accomplishing the same goal. The watchman was making his way around the room and greeting the various warriors as they entered, imparting upon them his knowledge of their names and eluding them to the omniscience that he seemed to behold.

A small stomping radiated from another stairwell just below them and revealed itself to be Bra, the daughter of Vejita and sister of Trunks. Reijin smiled slightly inward as she approached the group suddenly. Despite his original impressions of her, he realized now that he had great respect for her determination as a Saiyan, and although he could tell at a glance that she was merely a halfbreed, that held little meaning for him when he beheld her. She had a Saiyan heart, and was the daughter of the finest Saiyan that he had ever known, short of himself, and like her brother, was growing up to be a warrior that could possibly surpass them all in the future. He accepted it with all smiles, not allowing self pride to impede upon the growth of each further generation and progress.

She ran to the Transcendant and emerald warrior in a method that could only have been excitement. Slightly befuddled, Reijin watched as she burst out with greeting. ?Uub? Kami!??

The silver haired human smiled and gave her a warm nod. ?Hey, Bra. How ya doin??? He found himself in the arms of the aqua haired girl and returned the affection with a sign of an almost fatherly touch.

?I?m okay ...thanks,? she answered. She released him and stepped away slightly. ?I?m glad you?re still here. Good to see you too, Kami,? she said, giving him a smile. She giggled as he responded warmly to her greeting. She turned slightly and saw a figure standing directly beside her, not realizing that she had nearly bowled him over to reach her two friends. ?Oh! Hi. My name?s Bra.? She extended her hand in a human fashion of greeting to the Saiyan, and he nodded to her.

Knowing his relation with her brother, he assumed that it would probably be best if he let things lie where they were. Politely, and yet in the most formal of manners, he replied to her. ?Reijin.? She stood there for a moment with her arm extended, but he made no move to take it. In the case that she decided to join Trunks in his hell-bent quest to blossom a rivalry with himself, she would need to be able to have her full resolve and no imagined friendships to have to struggle with.

After a moment, an angry and scorned look flashed across her face as her arm suddenly dropped to her side. She looked as if she were going to say something to him, and then she gave a slight noise of aggravation as she looked to Uub and Kami. ?Can one of you guys please tell me what the hell?s going on out there??

?Angels.? The human answered. Seeing her disbelieving look, he followed up quickly. ?I?m not even kidding. I know it sounds nuts, but we got this angel Gabriel on the roof, he summoned the army down there. Apparently all hell?s about to break loose and we?re caught in the middle of it.?

She nodded as this set in, and then sighed. ?So... what?? She gave a casual nod as she noticed her father appear at her side accompanied by a changeling looking warrior that Reijin had never seen before. Reijin gave Vejita a nod of greeting and returned to listening to the conversation. ?You?re saying there?s an army of angels here. Why the hell would they be here?? Still not quite sure she believed what she was being told; she gave the best response that her young mind could think of.

Vejita coughed slightly, attracting the attention of the warriors around them. ?You remember the monster we fought in the arena?? Without giving them a chance to respond, he continued. ?The people of this asteroid call him Satan.?

The ancient Namekian gave a slight nod of agreement. ?Yeah. Him and the zombies have a lot to do with this. It?s hard to tell where the lines between the reality and the publicity stunts is... but whatever?s going on, Brim and the rest of us are gonna be caught up in it, like Uub said. Gabriel says war?s coming. ...Let's go inside.?

Everyone began to follow the Namekian when Reijin realized that one large presence had turned away from them. He called casually over his shoulder to Vejita. ?Coming?? He turned and gave him an observant eye as Vejita shook his head slightly, disturbed.

?No. I?ve got a few things to deal with at the moment.? He walked over and placed his hand on the young adult?s shoulder and gave a courteous and friendly look of acknowledgement. ?It?s good to see that you?re not dead.? Reijin smirked slightly as he nodded to him.

?Not that easily,? he announced proudly, as if the Prince should have already known it, and then he strode off in the direction of the others.

Kami led them all down the stairway into the first floor of the tower, where another group of warriors were gathered. Everyone seemed to separate as they got into the room, spotting various other warriors of whom they shared relations. For lack of anything else to do, Reijin followed Kami and Uub as they took a place near a large window in the main room. Uub looked out the window and spoke up, asking about the Namekian as he began to meditate with a radiant display of energy.

"He's preparing,? he replied confidently. He wasn?t completely sure how he Namekian was preparing, but through his Gaean training he could pick out distinctions in the pattern that was being displayed by the Namekian?s ki signature as it began to spiral around him. He watched intently, studying the green being, as Uub whispered in awe from nearby.

Suddenly the Namekian cried out, ?NO!?. Startled, Reijin and Uub both found themselves taking a step back slightly, not sure as to what brought this about. He began to look slightly traumatized, but Reijin could see from the few familiar variations in his aura that he knew nothing truly serious was harming Kami. Kami seemed locked into battle with his inner demons, if that made any sense.

The human at his side gave a stir, and shook his head concerned. "I should go wake him up!" Reijin quickly locked his hand down on the shoulder of his comrade, and he moved his head in disagreement. He finally let out a breath. "I suppose you're right. He needs to deal with it on his own."

After what seemed like hours of imagery from the place of nightmares, the Namekian?s aura suddenly contracted around him and then tightly wrapped around him like a wet blanket. He moved into a standing position and then lowered to rest before them. The younger half-Saiyan female ran to him with signs of worry across her prepubescent face. "Are you ok? What the hell happened?"

The Namekian seemed caught off guard a bit, as if he were not sure exactly of what had transpired. He suddenly realized that he had blood trickling down the side of his face, and he shook his head gravely. "Nothing you need to worry about. It was...unexpected but I've dealt with it for now.? He gave a stern look to each of them, and finally saw Reijin off to the side, his eyes cold and penetrating. "Alright then, lets get this figured out. I'm ready."

There was no denying fate, no denying purpose. Each of them was here now because of the choices they had made in the past. Uub saw vaguely the diverging paths that had led them here, knew that it was predetermined that each of them had a role to play. But what still remained a mystery to him was if he was ready or not too live up to that role.

Leaning up against the wall of the watchtower, secluded on the glass covered balcony Uub pondered his thoughts. He scanned the horizon, taking in every detail his eyes could behold. He marveled at how beautifully the orange and yellow steaks of dusk cascaded in shimmering flames.

It reminded him of so many sunsets back home on Earth, the times he had spent with Pitch Black, the feelings of affection for his fellow team mates that had linked them together as a family. But now all of that was gone, and in the here and now Uub was alone, Burter was gone and nothing would bring him back. Uub knew this now as his icy blue eyes reflected the streaming flames of the falling sun.

?And as the holder of light falls, his reign over the sky coming to an end, the beholder of shadows arises to take his place.? The words passed over the Transcendent humans lips as his breath became visible in the chilled night air.

?Now as the Shimmering crescent moon rises so shall the bearers of destruction, the demon spawn that haunt this land, now they rise to feast on the flesh of man, now this war truly begins.

He pushed off the wall and leaned against the railing, his eyes taking in the shifting of the Angelic brigades below. ?They know that the time is near.? He hung his head in thought. ?But am I ready to play my role?? he gripped the railing as he answered himself.

?I suppose fate has already answered that question for me.? He sighed as the artic wind of night brushed past his silver and bronze frame. ?We can?t see past the choices we don?t understand, but now I see, there is no escaping this set course, for any of us.? He turned on his heal, turning his back on the dark horizon and reentered the sanctuary of the watchtower.

But for how long would this distilled peace last as the early hours of night flowed by?

Her eyes fluttered sleepily, while her body seemed to be in a warm fuzzy state. A happy relaxed sigh slipped past her pretty lips, and she smiled a little. It had been a long time since she had just let loose, and spent some time with the Saiya-Jin. Nothing like this had even happened before, she could not explain the feelings she felt with any known words. She was happy, really happy. She found herself pressing closer to the warmth of her companion?s body, clinging to him, letting her worries and doubts become distant things. They could spare this time, this little peace of heaven. Sleepiness filled her worn out body, and darkness clouded her senses. One last sigh was heard from her, and she fell into a wonderful sleep.

When the female awoke she could not recall the light dreams that had occurred. All she could remember was that they had been beautiful, though short. She stretched with a grin upon her face and her eyes squeezed shut. She felt so relieved. Then it hit her, the bed was awfully empty. 18 shot upward, she took note that she had been covered by the blankets. Raditzu was gone, but why? She looked around the room, his armor was still here, but his pants were gone. She raised a hand and threaded her fingers through her golden tresses, just like him to disappear. Before she would have had a fit, but now she just let it go, maybe he just needed some air. She shifted her weight and threw her slender legs over the side of the bed. The cold air bit into her bare flesh, causing a little shiver to inch up her back. It was evident that she would need another shower?any woman would. She smiled to herself, her blue eyes distant and toward the floor. All of her senses seemed in a dazed state, she was mystified. Yes a shower would be good.

The water washed away the evidence of what had been done. The sweat and love was swept down the drain, but her emotions were as clear as ever. She decided not to take her time in the shower, considering this was her second one in such a short time. The android promptly dried her body and her hair, only this time she was in a much better mood. Her body still buzzed and tingled, while her mind was in a rush. She took in a deep breath and leaned against the doorway of the bathroom, the dark room still empty. She picked up her dirty clothing, though they weren?t too bad, she still would have preferred something cleaner. Donning the outfit reluctantly, she made her way to the door and paused. There was something written in the metal, she examined it curiously.

That was amazing, I hope that you rested well, I?ll be downstairs. I love you, Eighteen ? Raditzu

Her fingers traced along the indented inscription. She bit down lightly upon her bottom lip. 18 sucked in another deep breath and let it out slowly, calming her insides. Slowly she opened the door and quietly left the room. The old man had moved, though he was still standing, he was facing the window. She continued through the open room and toward the staircase. It was much easier to take the trip going downward than it was going up. She continued smiling to herself while traversing the steps. Soon the sound of voices and the light of the outside world became evident. The android exited the tower and took in the crowd. There seemed to be more people, but that didn?t matter. She probed the area for Raditzu, her skin prickled. She found his position, but she also recognized a few other powers next to him. For a moment she frowned. What was he doing with him? Gingerly the girl took a few steps through the crowd, she could not stay away. A large part of her wanted to be next to the long haired warrior, she wanted to make sure?to see if everything really was ok. It should be, right?

There he was, hands on his hips and his torso uncovered. She shuffled forward slowly, her cheeks burning as a flush of pink touched the pale flesh. She glanced at the Saiya-Jin prince, strangely she felt naked around these people. Knowing full well what she had just done, she was a little abashed. What if?What if someone had heard them? She gripped her left arm with her right hand in a shy position, only a few feet away from the small group. She was really at a loss for words; maybe she should have stayed in the bed?

?Uh?? She started, and all eyes fell on her. Her Saiya-Jin lover spun around to face her, a grin was on his face.

?Hey! Babe, I think they?re gonna watch a movie!? He declared, though she knew he was likely not stating the truth. She felt the other gaze of the other Saiya-Jin bore into her, whether he was meaning it or not, her own gaze hit the floor and she shifted uncomfortably. ?Come?ere.? Suddenly she felt herself being pulled into the shelter of one of her companions arms, while he turned his attention back to the young female within the group. 18 remembered her, but what was this movie business about? The blonde shyly clung close to Raditzu and gave the other female a curious look. Maybe it was important, and if it was she would like to know about it.

Reijin?s cheeks twisted up slightly as he shook his head quickly. Looking a bit downcast, he spoke up. ?Nah? I think I have some things I need to take care of before we get too much further into this. Nice display though.? Without giving the green fighter or the others a chance to respond, he spun around and immediately walked back inside the primary room. Something about the patterns that he had seen in Kami?s aura was agitating him, and the funniest part was that he had no idea why.

He hated to admit it, but something within him was telling him that it was time for him to complete his Gaean training. ?That?s impossible though?? he whispered. He had killed Kasumi, and none of the other Gaeans, if there were any, even knew of him. He let out a slightly ironic snort of disgust. If they had heard of him from the people of Yardrat, then they would probably know of his deed. No? He would have to finish learning the Gaean style on his own, he presumed. It was much more graceful and accurate than the brute force of a Saiyan warrior that he had been taught from birth. To perfect his skills as a warrior, he would go to a large amount of stress and pain to complete his trainings.

So where had he strayed? He couldn?t quite pinpoint when, but somewhere along this journey, he realized that some of his actions had still been an automatic reaction of the Saiyan within him. Proud as he may be, one thing that he felt needed to be improved upon with his blood race was the animosity and bloodlust that they thrived upon. Calculation, strategy, tactics? That would lead them to the new height of their prime. The needless bloodshed and unprecedented aggression that they strove for was going to only lead them down a similar path as pacifistic weakness. They were born to rule the stars, and he could not watch them fail through their own arrogance.

This was his stance as a warrior. This was his law.

His eyes automatically focused on a long wave of hair and Reijin snapped out of his small daydream slightly. He saw that Raditzu had joined them, walking through the crowd half naked as if this were a college dorm party and he was the main star. His lips curled up distastefully as the Saiyan waved at him. ?Yo!? he said, sounding more and more human as every day passed.

Reijin looked up to notice the long haired Saiyan waving at him innocently. He stopped a couple steps away from Rad. Giving a smirk as he crossed his arms, his sarcasm couldn't have gone unnoticed by the deaf. "Well well... How's Bojack doing?" he asked snidely.

As if the darkest storm clouds could not darken his day, he responded very cheerfully with the gravest of answers, creating a humorous response. ?Oh? he?s dead. The back of his head is plastered against the ground somewhere. It was a pretty good shot, actually,? he beamed. Something in his personality conveyed that he was not actually happy that his new teammate had been killed, but just that he wasn?t very serious about it. He was really never serious about anything, as far as Reijin had seen.

?Oh.? Reijin couldn?t really think of anything else to say to such a heartwarming answer. He found himself slightly disappointed that he could not have done the deed himself, but knowing the way people always seemed to return from the land of the dead, whether they be warriors, angels, or fallen angels turned demon, it didn?t bother him so much. He had other things to bother with, honestly. ?Well that?s a shame. Now, if you?ll excuse me,? he found himself saying emotionlessly. Normally he wouldn?t even bother with such trivial formalities at a time like this, but he cared very little at the moment.

Forgetting the half naked - and somehow glowing without using his Ki - Saiyan, Reijin continued to survey the room in hopes of finding the watchman. Mere seconds later found him a path directly to the older sage, who was still warmly greeting the warriors as they were compelled into sanctuary within the tower. He immediately turned to Reijin, and gave him an affectionate smile. ?Ah, Reijin. You wish to practice your skills somewhere quiet, do you??

Somewhat unsurprised after all that he had seen, he simply nodded. ?Of course.? His voice was no longer as raspy as it had been before, to his surprise. He hadn?t taken a moment to notice it before. The older man nodded in response to him, and waved his staff flourishingly, and without reason Reijin suspected, and Reijin suddenly found himself to be surrounded by pitch black darkness.

Once more in the quiet serenity of the cellar practice room, the Saiyan sat down and crossed his legs before him. What was it that she had told him before? Something about this particularly power not coming from within, but from without. He was puzzled even still. How could one control power from around them without controlling power within them?

He closed his eyes by sheer habit in the jet darkness, and touched his thumbs and forefingers together as he laid his hands in his lap, setting himself into a meditative state. His eyes were still twitching from his subconscious activity within his muscles, and he had to keep himself from struggling to get his muscles to calm down, as struggling was never the method. One could only cease the erratic spasms of one?s muscular structure once they had relaxed completely and given themselves over to the movements of one?s body. Only afterwards would they find themselves in a complete state of relaxation.

Reijin knew the meditative steps perfectly, and moved through each step with the graceful ease of a professional. He was very much experienced in such matters, so it was no problem for him to enter the state? The difficult part was what often came afterwards. He?d need hours to perfect even the slightest detail, if this was going to be anything near as tough as he expected it to be. Although he?d also learned that by assuming it was going to be more difficult than you first had impressed upon you, you?ve made things ten times harder.

Naturally, his Ki flow expanded around him, reaching out and grasping into the nothingness in an attempt to bring definition to the world around him. He realized suddenly that he felt a very distinguishable, yet suppressed Ki field inside of a figure a distance away from him. Without opening his eyes, he acknowledged her presence. ?Akira.?

He heard footsteps lightly began to walk forward, and felt each step thunderously as it sent a shockwave of energy rippling outwards throughout his expanse of Ki. Each step ricocheted and propelled at him with great force, despite his knowledge that her steps were light as a feather upon the wind. Such was the sensitivity of his technique. After a moment, he felt her stop before him and then assume a seated position as well. Without opening his eyes or interrupting his trained meditation, he continued his practice. She did not seem to wish to disturb him, and for that, he mentally thanked her.

He was primarily seeking self searching, to find reasons behind things and to collect his thoughts from the events that had been encountered, and those that would shortly follow. He had quite the range of abilities that he?d found himself adorned with, but none of which he had actually found the expert necessary to enhance his ability with. He could only assume that such abilities must be mastered himself, through hard work and introspection.

He finally allowed a slight tingling sensation to enter into both of his palms, originating at the various charka points that were arrayed down the lengths of his arms. A cool wave of blue energy lightly wisped along his arms, translucent to any that might be watching, until it began to coalesce within the circular formation of his resting palms. A small spiral of energy began to gather, spreading into a small sphere of Ki energy that began to spark erratically. After a moment of stone faced calm, the energy calmed down and returned to its nearly liquid formation until a small trickle of energy spread out from it. Using the smallest fragment of energy that he could imagine, he shaped it into the shape of a lock-pick, sliding the fragmented Ki threw the air until he realized that he could feel the elections in the air itself.

Slightly enamored by his new discovery, he realized that on a level even smaller than his Ki stream, he could feel the detailed atoms themselves moving around on the tiniest of molecular levels within his grasp, but only in specified areas that he could create pinpoint sharpened Ki strings in. He felt himself growing greatly strained from the control, and he began to feel himself sort of cramp up mentally. It was a strange sensation, and Reijin presumed that it was due to using a method that he did not normally use, which was similar to a motion on a rarely used muscle.

His breathing continued as the pendulum would swing, until after a moment, he calmly opened his eyes and stared directly into the deep blue eyes of Akira Dezmon. She was smiling at him. He continued to stare at her for a moment before his own pride finally got the best of him, and he broke into a return smile. She then winked at him. ?You are own your way to getting what I meant by it being a power that did not come from within.?

His eyes twisted into a curious gaze as he pondered her words. ?I can?t really control the atoms around me though? They are too small for even my Ki to manipulate.?

Without giving him a definitive answer, she turned onto her side and fell sideways onto him, startling him a bit as she rested her head calmly in his lap. She rolled over onto her back and gazed up into his eyes. ?Don?t limit yourself by assumptions of what you can?t do, when you yourself do not know what you are capable of.? She then closed her eyes contently as she rested in his lap.

He looked at her awkwardly and finally allowed his gaze to trail off into the distance. He began to focus on something that wasn?t quite there before he finally spoke. ?Someone once told me that in the past. You would think that as trained as I am that I would not allow myself to submit to failure by now, and yet I still do it occasionally without realizing it. How many mistakes have I made without realizing them, completely bypassing the opportunity to grow and learn from them?? He wasn?t exactly talking to her, but something told him that she was taking it all in. He was questioning himself, and then as suddenly he realized that someone else was within the room. He almost never showed any kind of self doubt about himself. It was unnatural for a Saiyan. It was a sign of weakness, he?d been taught. He had accepted such things as a principle to learn from, however, but that did not make it easy to open up in front of another.

Suddenly, his eyes shot down to see Akira once more gazing intently into his own. Ridding himself of any preamble, he cut to the point. ?Why are you so? trusting and comfortable around me? You just seem to have instantly accepted me, and I?ve given you no reason to believe that I will not simply kill you the moment it strikes me to do so.? His eyes seemed to flash in anger a bit as he spoke.

She simply continued smiling at him as if she had no change in her initial opinion and whispered to him cleanly. ?I am usually good at judging people. I know inside how people really are, and their intentions.? She watched as his chest rose out a bit as he drew in a breath, looking off into the distance again and once more taking a serious facial expression.

?Yeah,? he trailed off. ?How did the Brim thing happen, anyways?? He looked down at her as she suddenly stirred, sitting back up and then sliding back into his arms. The moment he saw her slide back against his chest, his arms unconsciously just spread outwards and he held them there, not sure where he should put them. Finally, she reached both of her arms out to the side and grabbed his hands, curving them around her waste to rest in her lap so that he was holding her.

She could feel him slightly uneasy, but her mood had shifted. She was now looking at the ground and began to casually draw a formation along the ground between her legs with her finger. After a couple of seconds of uneasy silence, she spoke once more. ?He caught me off guard.? She let out a breath of air. ?I don?t really remember much, honestly. It was one of those things where I looked up and saw him, and I knew something wasn?t right, but before even I could do anything, I blacked out. Everything after I blacked out? It?s like a memory, and yet not my own.?

Reijin nodded, holding her tightly now for comfort. ?I guess I can see that. That wouldn?t really be your fault, honestly. Sometimes things happen. You can?t learn from them otherwise. Besides, you had Katel.?

She turned her head and looked over her shoulder at him smiling with sad eyes. ?Yeah. If it wasn?t for my sister?s determination and resolve, I don?t know what would have happened to me.?

He smiled back at her. ?Well, don?t think about that. It didn?t happen, and I assure you that it won?t. I?m pretty sure that you won?t fall for whatever happened again. If you see Brim again, make sure you return the favor. You sure as hell scorched me pretty good.?

She giggled a bit at that, and then gave him a slightly surprised look from against his chest. ?Did you just make a joke? You don?t really seem like the type of person that would open up or make a joke or anything. You seem like just a straightforward fighter guy.?

He shrugged somewhat from behind her. ?Don?t get used to it. I?m not really opening up, it?s just hard to explain. And the sarcasm? Well, its like the only form of humor most Saiyans know.? He felt weird, holding her like this. Like he was comforted as well, in a strange way. Part of him missed Videl once more, greatly. The other part was simply satisfied that he was once more able to give back as opposed to simply taking away from others, always playing the part of the cold blooded killer.

She rustled against his chest and rolled to her feet, turning around and grabbing him by the hand. Pulling him to his feet, she turned around to lead him back out of the room. ?Come on, we should probably get going. We?ve been down here a long time, and we need to check on this war before I try to let you work on that fire anymore.? She led him by the hand through the sheer darkness until she came to a hidden stairwell against the blackest corner of the room. He silently followed as she led him up the stairway back to the first floor of the main room?

The twelve people in collars surrounded the outside of the room. Also in the room was Doctor Flagg, the Watchman, Katel, and of course the icy shaded woman known as Akira Dezmon, snuggled close against the unusually sensitive Reijin.

"Let's see it," Bra finally said, as Flagg set up the screen.

He pushed the button.

Brim Harc - Science Department - Classified Information

The security camera was in the corner of the room, up at the top. From this angle, five scientists can be seen around the room. One is clearly Brim, as he's the only green being present, however he is clearly much younger then he iwas in present day. The room is a laboratory, the very one where Bra, Zarbon, and Vegeta had been only hours earlier.

The younger version of Brim took a vile across the room, moving carefully as to not spill it. He stumbled nervously, hitting one of the men. "Watch it, you idiot!" The man shouted, "If you spill that, we're dead!"

"I'm so sorry, Doctor Flagg..." said the nervous green man.

After Brim was back at his station, another scientist spoke up. "You sure this is a good idea? I mean, first we bring back the dead, now we're killing innocent people?"

"Whether it's right or wrong doesn't matter," one man said. "We have our orders."

"Still..." the first man sighed.

"They are simply using us for their own gain," The man Brim had called 'Flagg' said. "They don't care about us. I guarantee it."

"I sup--" one of the men had said, but was cut off.

What happened next was too quick to recall. A flash of light busted the video footage, so only audio was heard. A loud "No, don't turn that over!" was heard, and then another loud explosive sound was emitted.

More screams. Painful, tortured screams.

"It's alive!"

End Footage

-----

All eyes were on Doctor Flagg.

"Brim thought that if he killed us, he could control the dead. Something I too once believed," Flagg spoke softly, "But as he found out, you can't control the dead. Ever."

"So what happened?" Raditzu asked.

"I don't remember," Flagg admitted. "Everyone died. I ended up like this."

"I think you do remember," Cell countered.

"What you think is irrelevant," Flagg shrugged.

"Okay, hold on," This was from Reijin. "So you worked with Brim? Can someone explain this whole thing for me?"

Around that very moment, a defiant scream echoed across the asteroid. Everybody immediately charged out.

-----

As the many warriors jumped off the steps, the doors were literally blasted open. There on the first level of the tower, the twelve players and the elemental sisters moved into fighting stances.

The doors, now opened, revealed a figure floating high above the ground. Bra got an unhappy flashback of Brim doing the very same thing so long ago, in the first Friend or Foe.

"Kao!" Bardock lept into the air, his rage getting the best of him. His chance was here. His fight was now.

Kao swiped his arm, knocking Bardock to the side like a rag doll. "You have all ruined it!" He extended his arm. "You will pay for ending it!"

The blast that erupted from his green arm was argueably the strongest that had been seen in the game, not to mention the insane speed in which he summoned it. Raditzu moved forward, but it was Kami that jumped into the air, both arms up. Not even Kami can explain what went through his head. Certain death. But still...he felt he needed to do it.

Hitting Kami was like hitting a brick wall. The blast erupted, forcing everybody back, bruised and scarred. Even after the dust settled, the tower was still standing. Kao was a bit bruised, but still, he was floating there. Kami had dropped. Olibu, too, had fallen.

"You monster!" Bra screamed from her father's protective arms.

"Kami..." Uub whispered, his head down. He took a deep breath. The human looked up. "Final FLASH!"

Kao shot forward. The blast seperated as he passed through it. Bra gasped as Uub was struck with the fist of the insanely powerful teenager. Uub stood for a moment, as if uneffected. Burter's image flashed in front of him. A proud reptilian who died protecting those he loved.

Kao clenched his fist. He had touched Uub's collar on the desent towards him. When the button in his hand was pushed, Uub's collar flashed.

Then he dropped dead. Dying like Burter. For those he loved.

"NO!" Bra lept forward. She was a super saiyan before anyone could blink.

Again, things happened fast. "Gabriel!" Kao shouted, easily jumping out of Bra's way. "This isn't over! I'll be back, and you'll all pay for ruining the plan!" Kao teleported away. The doors slammed shut. Everyone blacked out.

From above the tower, Gabriel's eyes opened.
