You will be judged on your answer in the following:
1) First and foremost, why should you be selected to play?
I think I could be very good at this. I listen to people and use a combination of opinions and facts to base a decision on. I also would like to be able to do more for Chubbs. This place is a second life to me and I want to help it.
2) What qualities do you possess that will make you the Idol?
a: I get along with most people on this site. I admit I have been somewhat hostile to some members, but I have not gone so far as to have been awarded a warning.
b: I am very creative and love to see my idea's built upon. That would help with getting more quests for members to do, techniques as well
c: I listen to peoples reasoning before acting on anything so everyone has an equal chance
3) Tell me any previous experience you have with running an RPG. Included should be the name of the RPG, the genre, and how long it lasted.
None what so ever
4) Finally, you need to write a short essay/description (200+ words) of what you feel being a staff member of Chubbs is all about. What do you think is nessecary, what do you think has to be done. Be detailed, as much as you can. Don't kiss our asses, we arn't looking for compliments.
I feel being a staff member of Chubbs is all about respect, strength, character, and the ability to act and not watch. You have to have respect for fellow members and staff members, otherwise you'll end up being hated and probably stripped of your rank. A staff member has to have the strength not to back down on a decision they made. If the other staff members agree with it then it won't matter if all the other members hate you for it. Also, you have to have the strength to handle the pressure of being a staff member. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen, as the saying goes. The ability to act is self explanatory. A staff member can't just sit around and expect all the other staff to do things without help. They have lives too.
What is necessary to being a Chubbs staff member is intelligence and imagination. A staff member needs to be able to dish out ideas like any other member does on a regular basis. He/she also needs to have the ability to put people down in their own ideas if it won't benefit the whole RPG. A Staff member needs to be able to tell if an idea is mainly out of concern for one self or the entire RPing community.
A lot of this may seem that you have to be perfect to be a staff member, but in truth you don't. No one is perfect. Most just need to polish their skills and abilities.
