?Edmond, come here please,? Nappa called, as he sat within his newly erected tent.

?Yes General, what is it you need?? Questioned the lieutenant, eager to serve his commanding officer.

Each time the saiya-jin elite laid eyes on this massive creature, and gazed upon his right eye he felt much more relaxed. It was the glow of the bright green tint that his whole eye possessed that caught Nappa?s attention, and for some reason it gave him the chills. ?Tell the boys to begin building the fort, using this layout. I also need you send some troops to this location, from for a recon mission,? the bald officer commanded, handing Edmond the layout and showing him a location on a map spread out upon his desk.

The moment he?d gotten the building plans, Edmond bolted out of the tent leaving Nappa to ponder his decision. As he looked over the map, he could hear his lieutenant spouting off orders to their troops, and then the scattered sounds of a few hundred boots tramping about. He?d been informed that it would take approximately three days to build such a base, which would leave him with barely enough time to meet back up with Garlic.

It was only a few moments, when a lower officer scurried into his tent rather nervously. ?Edmond has sent me here to tell you your orders have been carried out. The units have begun their move towards the locations given to them, and will return once there job is complete. Also many soldiers have begun scavenging for the necessary building equipment needed for your fort sir,? the messenger explained, stuttering every so often.

Nappa listened carefully, noting all the major points, but couldn?t get his mind off that bastard mayor of Raditzu Village. He wondered how such a backwater, mullet headed, tobacco spitting, son of a bitch got the position of mayor. But he was sure that Garlic would take care of a guy like him, and he chuckled at the thought.

?I wonder what that hick would say when he saw Garlic, and what would Garlic think of a guy like that?? Nappa asked himself, as he walked out of his tent and into the open air.

A new day, and more building was the only thing Nappa had in his mind as he walked outside to see his men?s progress. He was told that they had laid down the foundations to the main building, and were already putting up walls. The saiya-jin was definitely happy to see things moving forwards, but he knew they needed to be at a quicker pace if they were to meet back up with Garlic on time.

During the night, Jonga?s unit reached his position, which would help quicken the pace. Jonga had told him that his unit had already created a fort many miles to the south, and would be happy to assist in raising this one. He now had almost triple the amount of units working on the fort, and it would only be a matter of time before it was finished.

?Alright boys, take a break I?ve got something to announce. If you all can complete the main building and two outer walls by dusk then I will let you have my stash of assorted liquors and domestic beer. So I suggest you get moving if you want to party up tonight,? Nappa announced, his voice booming over the crowd of soldiers resting their bodies.

The crowd pumped their fists, and jump back to work, determined to finish by dusk. Nappa knew that they would be able to finish his request by then, and the alcohol would be a moral booster. He needed his units to know he wasn?t a slave driver, and they would be rewarded for their hard work.

?What have you got to say to that Jonga?? Nappa asked the general.

?Not a bad way to improve the work effort, they will definitely have your things built by dusk I am sure,? Jonga replied with a smile, as the two turned back into the tent.

Jonga, Nappa, and his lieutenant Edmond sat around the desk looking at his newest map. They discussed possible moves once this fort was built, and what would be the best tactic to use in certain situations for hours. Jonga had explained to Nappa that he had a rather powerful reddish skinned warrior in his unit, and seemed rather proud of him.

Nappa noted this ?red skinned warrior? and was certain who it was. The three ranked officers talked and guzzled down almost a whole quarter keg by the time one of Nappa?s scouts waltzed in with the largest smile on his face.

?We?ve completed your request General Nappa?. Three hours early!? the scout implied, with his knees almost buckling in excitement.

?Well tell everyone to get on some civilian cloths, and prepare to drink. Oh and scout, that is an order!? Nappa laughed, burping slightly in between sentences.

About thirty minutes later and the party stared. Two full units guzzled down keg after keg, and after each one they?d have a shooting contest. Setting up the kegs in a line, painting bulls-eyes on each one, and having a tourney. The challenge was to down ten cups of beer, and blast each bulls-eye moves on. Winners included Nappa, Edmond, Jeice, and two sniper soldiers. They continued on to the next challenge, which was another ten beers, and the keg toss. Each contestant would toss up a keg, and use his pistol to hit the flying bull?s eye.

After downing his last beer, the saiya-jin was completely plastered, but he lifted the empty keg above his head, and gave it a heave into the night sky. Quickly the saiya-jin drunk removed his pistol from his holster, and lifted it towards the flying keg. Everyone was cheering and laughing as Nappa pulled the trigger, but nothing happened.

?Fuck, the safety!? Nappa yelled, fumbling the gun around looking for the safety button. The keg was already falling towards the ground, when the saiya-jin clicked the button, but it was the clip button and his clip fell to the ground.

?Son of a bitch,? Nappa burped, ?If I wasn?t so damn drunk?. I?d win.?

All the soldiers began cheering and clapping at the ugly failure of their drunken commander. It was a great party, and all the soldiers were wasted, but tomorrow they would be back to work.

A few hours and a massive headache later Nappa crawled out of his cot and out into the afternoon sky. He noticed that his soldiers had already started their work on the Fort at Monte Cristo, and had completed another wall. Edmond was leading the pack, as well as a few of the rank officers from Jonga?s unit.

Many cardboard boxes sat idle around the camp, they had been full of liquor bottles the night before. There were hundreds of boxes sitting around, some wet, and some crumbled slightly, but all in decent condition. ?Well now, I?ve just come up with a great idea.? Nappa thought, as he motioned over his lieutenant.

?Yes general?? Edmond asked.

?Ready our units, all of them. We will be leaving Jonga and fifty units here to finish the fort, and then we are moving out. I want twenty-five of our units collecting each and every cardboard box available, and ready them in front of my tent. Lastly, I want one of our messengers to my tent immediately,? Nappa ordered, as he motioned for Edmond to get moving.

The saiya-jin elite turned and retreated back into his tent, and readied his things for the next march. Taking out a piece of paper, Nappa jotted down a small note for the messenger to take.

Quote:Garlic,

We?ve met up with Jonga at our location, and are moving out today to the spot I?ve marked on the map. I will give you word on our next location and it?s surroundings when we arrive.

General Nappa.

He handed the note to his messenger, and he took off out of the tent. Nappa could hear the crumpling of leaves, as his soldiers hurried around the camp gathering boxes and their equipment. He too was gathering his shotgun, and pistol, readying his United uniform for the march.

?Nappa, we?ve collected all the requested items and we are ready to move out,? Edmond explained, curious to why they were collecting junk.

?Alright, have every soldier take a box and meet here. We will leave at once.? The bald saiya-jin replied, placing his pistol in its holster and the shotgun over his back.
