We cannot stress enough: before you join, please read ALL of the rules in the Rules forum and various stickies very THOROUGHLY. It is recommended that you keep one window or tab open with your join post, and another with the rules required. One of the below posts has links that will be helpful to you.

Make sure you include all the necessary information for your join post. Try to keep it all in a single post. If you forget to put something in, please add it in, but try to get it all on your first try.



IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

• We are a custom character-only RPG. We are DBZ themed, but we no longer accept canon characters, or characters from the DB/Z/GT universe. Custom characters are ones you create yourself, and should be unique and desirable to the individual.

• We require a role-play sample to prove your quality of work. We are an RPG with a long-standing history and as such, have achieved a reputable level of said quality. Don’t take this as us being “too good” for your average Joe, because many of our members have come from lesser quality work and improved dramatically in their writing skills. We are more than willing to be patient and work with those who are still having trouble with role-playing.

• We require respect from those attempting to join and those who become members, and if not that, at the very least give civility and decency. If you lose your patience, do not flame or harass. You’re entitled to your opinion, but please be mature enough to simply walk away if you become frustrated. In the end, this is only a game on an online forum for the enjoyment of those who write, and should be treated as such, not a personal vendetta.

• Serious applicants only. We are more than willing to assist, but if you cannot be bothered to read through the information provided for you, it is a waste of time for both parties. Staff doesn’t tend to have patience towards those who ask questions that can be answered simply by doing some research. If there is something you honestly cannot find, we will clarify and correct the issue.

• This forum is not for spamming or advertising. This is for people who would like to become active members of our community. If you commit said infractions, your links will be removed and your accounts will be banned. If you would like to affiliate with our RPG, please talk to a staff member.

REGARDING PLAGIARISM

We thank you for your interest in this RPG, but do not think you can take a shortcut and steal somebody else’s work. We’re a little more thorough than a simple glance, and do actually read the role-play samples you submit. If we find that you have simply copied and pasted other work from this RPG or another, your application will be denied and you will not be allowed to join. Plagiarism is highly, highly frowned upon. You should be here to demonstrate your own work! If you feel that your skills aren’t up to par, we’re more than willing to work with you, but give us the courtesy of being honest and forthcoming about it.

Also, do not submit something you have already written for another forum. Each entry must be new and unique.



BANNED MEMBERS

If you are banned, stop trying to get back in. You were banned for a reason. The behavior you displayed, the attitude you had, or the infractions you committed warranted a removal from this community. Constant harassment, lying, sneaking around, spamming, and any other such behavior is certainly not a demonstration that you should be readmitted, but in fact the opposite. By taking an immature and dishonest approach, you merely confirm, or add to, why we felt it was in the best interest for your banning. Again, this is only a game on an online forum for the enjoyment of those who write. Please accept our decision and move on with your life. You have consciously and willfully lost your privilege to be here, and as such, you are not welcome anymore.



HOW TO START

STEP ONE: you need to read the rules.

STEP TWO: you need to register an account. Please register in the name of the character you are choosing to be, so we do not assume you are a spammer or random registration. You cannot post without registering, and until you are approved, will not have full access to the site.

STEP THREE: create your character following our guidelines, and determine how you want your starting stats distributed.

STEP FOUR: take some time offline, preferably in Microsoft Word or something with spelling and grammar check, and create your role-play sample.

STEP FIVE: put all of your information together and submit your join post. A staffer will respond in a timely manner. If your post is not replied to within 72 hours (3 days), you may bump your thread once per 72 hours. This should not be an issue, but if it becomes so, we apologize in advance.

STEP SIX: if you have any questions, concerns, or anything else that should be brought to our attention that cannot be answered in our rules or forum stickies, please let us know in your join post.

STEP SEVEN: if you are accepted, your account will be officially activated, and you can proceed to the Update forum to submit your character vault and roster. Welcome to Chubbs!

With the introduction of custom character, players will no longer be able to join as the standard, canon DBZ characters.

Additionally, when joining, you must decide how you want your stats to be distributed. You will get 600 points to distribute however you want, but no stat can be higher than 150. It could look something like this:

Strength: 150
Constitution: 50
Agility: 150
Insight: 50
Technique: 50
Willpower: 150

You can start with whatever distribution you want.
