As suggested in my latest post, after the Saga is over Hibiki will be hunting around the galaxy looking for the Dragonballs, or some other way to resurrect the mass of people that perished during the Construct's infection of earth.

My question is: are the balls even still collectable? I haven't heard anything about them in quite a while.

Dragonballs.... even though they're inactive, could people still find the useless rocks that will turn into them eventually?

No. They do not emit the signal that is captured by ki sense three or the dragon radar.
