OOC Spar?

Hey all. I'm obviously new to the site and just wanting to get in some sparring before the upcoming tournament, just so I can get a handle on the system. This is open to pretty much anyone, first come, first to beat my ass. Feel free to give us a setting and then to attack me, and I shall respond appropriately.

You can just spar IC. Why OOC? You'll get CA, and writing as your character will mean a little more.

All you have to do is spar with someone that is on the same planet as you. It's a spar, so death isn't really an issue.

I think he wants help like, getting the idea of how spars work, how not to rabbit, etc etc.

I would spar wiff ya mate, but I'm pretty bad at it.

A spar is essentially a friendly fight between two people. Statistics aren't really taken into account, and no one dies. If done IC then the two sparring individual would receive a reward for sparring, along with the natural boost in XP and Combat Ability from posting.

I'm on Mercy, so if anyone is there that wants to spar then I'm down to do it IC. My only concern is that I'll need some OOC guidance if I screw up the defense, etc.

Basically, don't write about you raping your opponent. lol. and you should be fine. Whoever you wind up sparring against you should probably look at their roster and profile information, though, so you can get a grasp of how to write their character a little.

I could "spar" with you. We do happen to be on the same planet. However, I'm a rather slow writer, so I'm not the best example for a sparring partner.
