Born into a life of privilege, Lucien Arcberg is the eldest son of self-made billionaire Vincent Arcberg. From his early days as a modest reporter, Lucien's father's extraordinary intellect and almost precognitive grasp of the fluid world of business allowed him to build up one of the largest media empires the world has ever seen. Following a life of excess, Lucien's father died at the age of 53, leaving behind his widow and three children, with Lucien inheriting his father's business interests. Lucien has been instructed in the art of business by his father and has, in his short life, shown even more potential than his predecessor. Lucien has a great interest in science, technology and the supernatural, spending unprecedented amounts of his fortune on secret research into all manner of technological advances and paranormal activity.
Lucien's mother, Dana Arcberg, formerly a supermodel who became a terrible drunk obsessed with conspiracy theories had a profound impact on Lucien's borderline xenophobia. It was her death during the alien invasion of Earth by the Frost Empire that first gave Lucien's life its direction.
Due to this event, Lucien is deeply fearful and harbours a burning hatred for aliens, superhuman martial artists and all others whose existence he sees as being synonymous with the state of almost endless turmoil the galaxy has experienced in recent decades. Despite being aware that he himself certainly has gifts setting him above the rest of humanity he has vowed to bring Earth's destiny back under the control of humanity, away from the aggressive aberrations who have so long seen it as their right to interfere.
Lucien's physical condition is impressive for a human, but he has no particular martial arts or fighting prowess. Remarkably, he has always been extremely resistant to injury and disease and throughout his life doctors had been astounded by the fact that wounds and broken bones seem to heal in him almost overnight. Lucien's true skill lies in his remarkable, almost psychic powers of observation, allowing him to generally discern a person's actions from their body language and muscle movements. This is his primary method of avoiding danger or defusing difficult situations.
