What kind of snake would this be exactly? Suppose to be in florida and the only ones I know that would be that long are pythons. But i dont think a python moves with his head raised like that.

Hard to gauge how long it is. Could be a puma.

It's actually a perspective trick - it's a closeup of a normal sized snake. You can tell by the pixels.

Black Mambas do that iirc so I am unsurprised if something else would

Black mambas do do that thing. They're also about that size. They're also fucking fast and super venomous.

PS: This is a circulating urban legend. It was found in Australia, not Florida, and the story itself is a few years old. Too lazy to post the au new story

A cursory google search would indicate in the negative. I pulled the King Cobra, the Mamba
,the black racer and the tiger snake, none of which are found here normally.

ange and Habitat: Black racers are found throughout the eastern U.S., from southern Maine to the Florida Keys. Other subspecies such as yellow-bellied racers are found in the Central U.S. and in scattered areas of the West. Racers are found in all areas of South Carolina and Georgia and among the most common snakes in nearly all habitats.

CNN had a story about a month back about exotic snakes escaping some sort of shipment/container in Florida. I'm not going to go find it.
