Task 1 completed

Well, not really, but I did a rough draft of what I think it should look like. I welcome ANYONE to completely change this in any way you wish, or make a new one from scratch. If you have a revision, make it, please. I want to find a way to make this the best it can be. This title is mainly just to psych out Rocket.

Forum Rules

Here at Chubbs, we try to take our role-playing seriously, but that's not to say that there isn't time to just sit back and laugh. People should just know when and where this type of activity is appropriate.

In Character Forums:

All of the ?IC? Forums are labeled by location. It is important to know where you are in the Chubbs universe, and roleplay correctly. You will want to make sure that you are role-playing in the correct forum, and it's pretty simple to do so. If you are on Earth, roleplay in Earth-sei. If you are on Namek, put your roleplays in the Namek-sei forum, and so on. The only things you will not RP in the 'planet' forums are Spars/Fights and Capsule Corp Purchases. This is because both of those have their own respective forums, no matter what planet you are on. If you want to make a purchase, put it in the Capsule Corporation forum.

Administration Forums:

These are the forums for the people who run the game itself. There is only one forum you can post in right away, and there's only one time when you should post in it. When you join the rpg, you must post in the join forum. See the join page for more information. Once a respected member of the rpg however, you might be asked to join an alliance. When this happens, you will gain access to an alliance forum placed within ?Alliances?. You will then be able to post in one forum, and only one forum. One which relates to your alliance.

Out of Character Forums:

This is where everything not directly related to the storyline of the game takes place. If you have any questions as to how the rpg is running, why something hasn't been updated, or you're just plain confused, post in the Questions/Suggestions/Updates forum. Technique Vault is simply a forum for easy access to character moves. If you are around a certain character in your current storyline, it might be helpful to see what moves and abilities this character has in order to roleplay what happens more accurately. The legendary asylum is the most popular part of the RPG. This is mainly because this forum includes some of the most random topics you will ever see. You may post just about anything you want here, no matter what it has to do with; but keep in mind: there is no need for meaningless spam, and you might get a warning for just that.

Now that each one of the forum sections has been taken care of, we can get into the actual rules of the boards.

Warning System:

The warning system is pretty straight forward. It's a ?three strikes, you're out? system. Once three warnings is reached, you will receive a banning. Things you might receive a warning for include:
Posting in the wrong forum (OOC in an IC forum)
Excessive spam in a forum (there's no need to post pointless things)
Being disrespectful to members (we do not tolerate rudeness)
Not meeting our signature requirements.

Signatures:
here at Chubbs, we know you like to customize your posts with an attractive signature, and that's completely fine. The only thing that we ask is that you have you signature meet our requirements; it's only fair. Rules for signatures are as follows:

Signatures must be a maximum of 300(height)x600(width) pixels, and have a max size of 50 kb. Simple enough!

Edit: I just had the idea of splitting up the assignments for different sections, but I'd have to make sure people are actually here in order to do it. If that's not possible, I'm online and any one of you can simply IM me and we'll work together. We'll start a chat if multiple people contact me.

Ok, I decided it would be easier to give each person an actual task, so here it goes... and don't feel restricted. If you feel there's something else that I did not add, and you think it should be on here, I ENCOURAGE you to tell me and/or write something about it. I'm giving out tasks by who I feel would be best in doing so for the specific fields I place you in. This is just by how I've seen you work in the past, don't take anything personal, I'm just trying to be fair and make everything work out the best.

Also feel free to use anything I wrote in your rules.

Tapion- Administration Forums (all 3)
Kid Buu- Banner/Avatar rules
Minoshia- Overall Behavior
Android 16- Rules for Earth/Namek/Vegeta/Outer Worlds posting.
Bra- Warnings in general
Tien- Spar/Fight and Capsule Corp posting
Guldo- Where to post certain things
Pan- Out of Character Forums (all 3) - Because you're the Spelling and Grammar nazi, and it's only right.

Now, I came to understand what Burter posted as saying he's like warning related rules for each of these things, but I could be mistaken, and when I wrote what I wrote before, I wasn't under that impression... so disregard it unless something in it is useful.

Posting in the wrong forum (OOC in an IC forum, without any relevant IC roleplaying)
Excessive spam in a forum (there's no need to post pointless things)
Being disrespectful to members and staff (we do not tolerate rudeness)
Not meeting our signature requirements (explained in the "Signatures" section)

If it is found that you have a part in any of the following, you will receive a major warning equivalent to two warnings. More extreme cases will result in immediate expulsion and banning:
Extremely heavy swearing/flaming (self-explanatory)
Posting explicit or highly offensive images on the boards (if you are unsure if something is offensive, it probably is)
Not complying to direct orders from staff
Any use of hacking to gain access to hidden boards or the computers of members
Controlling two characters simultaneously(if you are suspected of having two characters, you'd better have a damn good excuse ready)

My version:

Administration Forums:

These are the forums for the people who run the game itself. There is only one forum you can post in right away, and there's only one time when you should post in it. When you join the rpg, you must post in the join forum after reading the FAQ and the join page for more information. Once you become a member of the RPG howeveryou might want to create, or join an alliance. When this happens, you will gain access to an alliance forum placed within ?Alliances?. You will then be able to post in your alliance boards, but all other alliance boards will be invisible to you. Any subsequent attempt (after joining) to post in the join forum or any staff forum will result in a warning. Warnings are in the administration forums as well. This is a board that no normal member may post in. A staff member is the only person who can post in this forum, to find more information on warnings look in the warnings part of the rules.

Like anybody would read this stuff anyway =/...I liked most of it and read through it multiple times. Just a few things I put in.

Ok, looking good guys. Keep it coming! If you have revisions to your things feel free to post them. I want this to be as good as possible for tomorrow. Anyone think of good additions? Pan had a great idea to make up a completely new section that hasn't even been mentioned, so if you can think of something that hasn't been talked about, I'd love to see some info on it.

I think we should get into more detail on warnings. Like what spamming is and if you feel like flaming somebody, don't, and if there are problems talk to a staff member and keep a lot of things in PM.

Those are the main things that should be added.

Keeping things to PM
When to talk to a staff member
More detail on some of the subject in warnings.

More detail on the being two people part would be good.

Overall Behavior

We at Chubbs believe in a fun and free environment for people of all combinations to join and roleplay at will. Any infringement on the basic "comfort" of another member will be dealt with accordingly, with a warning. Basic rules that will forbid breaking this "comfort" level between members.

1.) No Flaming of any kinda, little things like "stupid" will be looked past occasionally if it is not a serious matter. Any Racial slurs, obscene remarks, remarks towards disabilities, threats, Sexist or Prejudice statements will not be tolerated in any means.

And always remember staff have lives too, their entire day is not spent to please you and this RPG.

2.) Do not be overally annoying and Bug staff, this will be addressed with a verbal recognition of what you are doing, before it is moved to an actual warning. ie- Do not constantly bug stuff for updates. They will get to it when they can. They have Lives too.

Some Basic things to help with the overall success of this rpg, and to increase the fun level of all the members.

3.) Try to Roleplay frequently, although this will not result in any sort of warning. If you do not RP once every two weeks, your charachter will become inactive and open for other joining members. So please, to avoid confusion and bad feelings, RP often, and RP well.

And Lasty, Just be Helpful! If a member is struggling, put a metaphorical hand on their shoulder and help them out, and this goes both ways, if you are being helped, try to learn the RPG, don't be a leach. This is just the basic fundementals of giving and recieving, we are all one community of Role Players and hopefully we can prosper and be on good terms with all of the members.

The warning system is pretty straight forward. It's a ?three strikes, you're out? system. Once three warnings are reached, you will receive a banning. Things you might receive a warning for include:

-Posting in the wrong forum (OOC in an IC forum, without any relevant IC roleplaying)

-Excessive spam in a forum (there's no need to post pointless things or anything that will throw an existing thread off-topic)

-Being disrespectful to members and staff (we do not tolerate rudeness)

-Not meeting our signature requirements; keeping in mind that you'll likely be advised to change it prior to an actual warning (explained in the "Signatures" section)

If it is found that you have a part in any of the following, you will receive a major warning equivalent to two warnings. More extreme cases will result in immediate expulsion and banning:

-Extremely heavy swearing/flaming, racial slurs, and threats on a member/member's family/etc (self-explanatory)

-Posting explicit or highly offensive images on the boards (if you are unsure if something is offensive, it probably is)

-Not complying to direct orders from staff

-Any use of hacking to gain access to hidden boards or the computers of members

-Controlling two characters simultaneously (If you have a sibling or friend using your computer, be sure to tell staff before you're suspected of playing multiple characters)

----

'Kay, I fixed a little grammar and fleshed out a bunch of the warning categories. If anyone feels something needs further changing, bring it to my attention! For now, I'm impressed at all of you. Good work. Seriously.

It needs to look more visually organized when listing things. LIke what Bra did, good job. And Guldo, did you put the avatar and sig limits? If not, that should be inserted. I would but I don't have a lot of time to be on today.
