Strengths: Like I said before, he communicates. He makes his opinion known with very little prompting, and although at times is the voice of dissention, keeps the group moving along and motivated to make something better.

Weaknesses: While his heart is in the right place, any time he has an idea, it is very quickly neutralized or discarded. A team member is supposed to be able to contribute something. He very willingly contributes ideas, but none of them are deemed very good, which brings his productivity down. His ideas give us a clue of what we don?t want to do, but other than that, do very little good.

I?m not sure he has enough of a grasp on the RPG to be a mod yet. I?m not one to condemn someone on join date along, especially if they?re competent, but a few things have struck me as ?newb mistakes?. Like posting all OOC in the IC boards, or jumping into a quest without someone?s permission. Those are things a mod should be reprimanding others for, not doing themselves. Tongue

Looking over his prowess from Idol, he?s definitely got the determination, but I just don?t think he ranks up there with the rest of the competition. His saga was pretty, but a little uninspired. He would probably be fine for updating, but I?d be wary about judging quests, spars and the like.

It seemed that during the last task, his ideas often conflicted with others. And instead of making an effort to ?conform? to what the rest of the group was working on, he instead tried to replace his old stuff with new ideas, which were continually shot down. Not ideal for working on a team, but I don?t know the guy too well, so this could be simply bad judgement on my part.

Quote:Cargo ? He did a great job being active on the last task, putting forth his ideas whenever he felt they were needed, and of course, ideas are always needed. He helped to shape the direction our team took, and contributed a great deal to our final product. Overall, he?s really shocked me, as I didn?t actually expect him to make it this far. However, I guess he?s shown me. I can?t say that he?d necessarily be a better candidate than me (I feel like an ego-bloated bastard for saying that), but he?s really shown that he is capable.

Bardock - What you said is totally true. Many of my ideas have been shot down during this competition, especially in the last task. Maybe that is because I think a different way than other people, maybe its because I'm not a good candidate (I don't think its the latter). In the first task, one of my techs was used, meaning that it was good, at least to some extent. Also, in the semi-final task, I wouldn't say that my ideas were bad, but that Zarbon posted an idea that everyone loved. Therefore, people didn't want to change it. I didn't either. I wanted to fix little things here and there, and if you check back, you will see that I did. The only thing I had some sort of problem with was the concept of a false immunity (The Shield). That seemed like a cheap trick to me. I can see how it would help. Also, regarding your last statement, if you don't get started you can't finish. I take your critism to heart and will try to improve, but I can't really do much to get more creative. That seems like your major problem with me being a staff member. Anyway, thanks, and I'll work on it.

SB - Let me address this a piece at a time. First, I joined originally in early 2005, as Nail (People remember me as that character). Second, I read the quest description and only one person had posted in it and it allowed for two and he had not made it clear that he had already found another person. However, I took responsibility and bowed out of the quest. Now that I'm done with that, I'm going to be active once again. But you are correct in saying that is something mods should correct. I really don't know what was uninspired about my saga (If someone wants to explain it to me, that would be great). I spent 3 days thinking about it. Adding story details, thinking of things to do, rewards, etc. Also, the saga doesn't come to life until people start participating in it. I was very inspired when was creating it. Also, to judge a quest or spar, you need to get into it, read it thoroughly, and be impartial. Also, since there is a system for these things, I really don't feel I'd have a problem with it. Lastly, like I said with Bardock, everyone loved Zarbon's template, so I threw ideas out there that could be helpful. The group was happy with what we had. I didn't block consensus or anything and we won. I feel that I contributed to that victory. I think I have outgrown the ?newb mistakes? and I feel that I could contribute to this website.

Twenty - Can't really respond to this. Thanks for the comments Twenty and I guess I try to continue to show everyone that I am more capable than they think.

You're definetly the dark horse of the competition, Cargo.
