Rat? Boo is outraged! See his fury! It's small, so look close. Trust me, it's there.

When in doubt: It was sarcasm.

Yeah, Shadows of Amn.

Wandering around in the main town earlier today, and got punked by a bunch of bandits, who apparently know how to conjure lightning and shit.

WTF?

I never heard of no thief in a back alley that can summon fireballs. Bastards.

The picked up the original Baldur's Gate game when it first came out and loved it. Naturally, when Shadows of Amn came out, I picked that one up as well and played it to its end.

You wouldn't believe some parts in that game. I found myself thinking, "It'd be really cool if this happened, but that's impossible," and then that said thing happening.

If you like it, you should pick up the Icewind Dale series. It was a new series developed by the same team and it's also totally awesome.

Neverwinter Nights also has been very sucessful, with Neverwinter Nights 2 being released at the end of October.

Edit: All of these games have been developed under BioWare, which is one of the most elite designers in the nation. BioWare is the company that released Knights of the Old Republic and will be releasing Mass Effect next spring.

When I saw it, the BlackIsle sticker meant -a lot- more than the BioWare one. I'm still so disappointed BlackIsle went bankrupt. Best game developers ever.

I actually picked up the game 'cause I knew it was on the same/similar engine as the Fallout series. And they rock out fucking loud.

I never played the Fallout series. It really did suck when BlackIsle went bankrupt because me and a friend of mine thought that the whole Forgotten Realms series were over. Fortunately, that's not the case.

Pick up the Icewind Dale pack. It comes with ID 1, it's expansion, and 2. It's a great game with the same gameplay as Baldur's Gate but with a different story.

If I wasn't up at college, I'd be playing BG2 right now. =(

I think I've got this somewhere...Been meaning to play it for awhile.

But, have you guys played Torment? That has to be one of the most kickass RPG's I've played. It's a Black Isle game too.

If you get the chance, you should pick it up. It should be pretty cheap now.
