[U] Reour Castle
#1
Everyone in United starts here, at the castle

Actual unit threads go up as you move away from the castle. Those who stay at the castle would roleplay here, obviously.

Use your movement threads to move.

All NPC units that were given orders have left.

?Commander??

Bardock heard the voice, but he didn?t heed it. His hands rested on the stone sill of the window, peering out from beyond his castle keep. Yes, his castle.

?Commander.?

Few units remained in the fortress of Reour. They had already scattered to the winds, prepared to march towards inevitable death. If they were strong, if they were lead by a great figure, they would survive. Such was war?the weak were conquered, and those that vanquished remained, until the cycle would repeat again.

Bardock, in his mask and cloak, and had not yet even revealed himself to his army. He was as shadow, truly, for it was three days into the campaign, and he had done nothing. Was he held back by fear? By uncertainty? He didn?t know.

?Commander!? the voice pursued, more insistent.

?Yes?? Bardock answered.

?It has been three days and you have not once fulfilled your duties. Your generals command in your stead,? an aide announced.

The generals. Bardock had been presented a list of candidates and chose carefully. It seems he?d picked wisely, for the army moved swiftly and with discipline. Things were well in order.

?What will you do, my lord??

The saiya-jin?s hand gripped the edge of the windowsill. Plans had been made, and he had merely watched them begin to unfold. Soldiers carried out orders not decreed by him. Actions had been committed that he had no control over. He had watched, and done nothing.

?I?ll be on the battlefield shortly,? he answered simply.

The aide nodded curtly and withdrew from the room to spread the word.

It was difficult to command an army and keep a low profile at the same time. But this wasn?t about hiding. It was about change. The fact that mass bloodshed was part of the deal was a nice bonus. Wars erupted every day, but it was a rarity that Bardock had the drive to actually participate in one on both a political and fist-to-face basis.

?I?m coming.?

OOC: Didn't know where else to post, but I had to get this in.
