I just wrote this...trying to cheer myself up I guess.

This is life in its finest
With its trails and hardships
It leads us astray upon trodden paths
And a branch snags here and there
Where we must try to pull free
Our trails must be faced completely
And we must hurt and endure
Because this is life in all its glamour

A heart will be broken
A mind will be turned to new clarity
Because life will have its way
And we will be gripped by it
We are its pawns
Life is our ultimate demise
Only through its problems can we live
And we will live with pride

We will conquer our mistakes
We will change anew and live freshly
Because that is our ultimate course
We are to change, we are to have conscience
Pain will accompany many
But it will guide us on our way
Because we are human
And life is our shepherd

I actually like it. It's so true. I would ask what's wrong but I don't want to get on your nerves. But I like it.

Like Tapion, I like it. I sort of find it uplifting as well. It speaks so true to me that we must face what is thrown at us beacuse that is what life is about. You are really great at expressing yourself through poetry from what I have read of yours. The verses seemed to come together so perfectly, I could just imagined the words being said in perfect rhythym in my head.
