Alright, so I don't think I have any kinks to work out anymore, but here it goes.
Since guilds are no longer running, which makes it impossible for people to 'officially' join the Moon Daggers anymore, I was thinking it might be sort of fun for people to be able to go 'bounty hunting.' People (either players or NPCs) could place bounties on player characters or non-player characters, and other players could go 'hunting' for the people that have bounties on them. The bounty would require a reasonable donation of zeni (probably 2000z or more; the minimum might be based on rank. For example, Rad would require a larger donation than Zangya would. Much larger.) It sounds simple, but I'm just going to post an example for the sake of it -- and just to make sure every little bit is understood.
So, let's say Burter decides he's tired of Raditzu, so he puts up an ad in the bounty hunting [thread/forum] that says:
And let's say that Bardock decides that this would be a good way to make some money. He would then reply to the thread saying:
Then, Bardock would go and post a personal roleplay about him tracking down Rad from planet to planet. To make it even more complex, Rad could roleplay that he discovered Bardock tailing him, and decides to run; eventually, Bardock would post that he'd like the thread graded to see if it is developed enough for him to catch Rad at a moment when he could approach and attempt to capture/kill him. A staff member would approve or deny, and if they approve, a fight thread would be posted between Raditzu and Bardock. Then, at the end, a staff member would grade it, and if Bardock wins, then he just has to post a closing roleplay of him taking proof of Raditzu's capture/death back to the local bounty hunting stall. A staff member would then reward him with the zeni Burter offered and any TP they feel Bardock deserves.
Thank you for your consideration,
Grimm
EDIT: There I go, forgetting something already! As a reason why an NPC would put up a bounty, say a character did something particularly evil in a saga or something and it was discovered they were behind it. Their bounty would be put up like a criminal's bounty would; they would be a fugitive that the bounty hunter was searching for. Basically the same thing as above, just trying to clarify a reason why an NPC would put up a bounty.
