Name: Undecided atm
Village: Hidden Rock Village - Iwagakure
Rank: Genin

Talents:
Genin Rank: (+3 Pts)
Chakra Formation: [Free]
Equipment Usage: [Free]
Generic Skillset: [Free]
Chakra Sense: [0 Pts]
Increased Chakra Pool: (-2 Pts)
Earth Chakra Affinity: (-3 Pts)
Martial Arts Master: (-1 Pts)

Flaws:
Genjutsu Ineptitude: (+2 Pts)
Rival: (+2 Pts)

Strength:
100% - Basic [Starting Stat]
20% - Increased Chakra Pool x2
15% - Martial Arts Master x1

Skill:
100% - Basic [Starting Stat]
15% - Earth Affinity
-15% - Genjutsu Ineptitude

Jutsu Limits:
Advanced Bloodline Limits
Perfected E-rank Jutsu
Access to D and C-Rank Jutsu

Custom Techniques:
Doro Gaeshi - Mud Overturn - Rank C (-1 Pts)
Doro Gaeshi is a defensive Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. After striking the ground with their hands, a large wall of earth will rise into place as defense. The defense is not perfect though, a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall.

Here's my shot, I think I got the jist of it, also for the Custom Technique, I'm unsure if you want to make it 2 pts since it's C or not, I'd assume it'd be a 1 point since it has a major flaw in drilling/intense attacks.

You listed your skill bonus as water instead of Earth affinity.

Hm, it's mostly okay. There are only two issues that need to be addressed, though.

All characters have to be located in Fire Country and live in the Leaf village. I'm pretty sure I haven't actually said anything about that yet, so here it is. The reasoning behind it is that there's a war going on in the RPG world, the borders between nations are closed, yet I don't want that to separate the players so early in the game. The example character I put up is from Iwa, but he's abandoned the village and he will be in Fire Country when the game starts. Over time more nations will be opened up for player access, but at the very beginning it has to be isolated to Konoha.

If you character is going to start off as Genin then they can't use B or A-ranked techniques, at least not by default. Flawed B/A-rank jutsu is for Chuunin. You can purchase the Performance Improvement Talent and use it to increase the character's Jutsu Limit from Genin to Chuunin-level, though.

Were you saying that in reference to his Custom Technique? Cause that says "Rank C" on my screen.

And no, you def didn't mention the Fire Country thing, before.

I use Iwagakure in reference to your protagonist, but the village doesn't matter, it can be Konoha.

Aye, I have Flawed B and A rank Jutsu listed in my limits since I'm incapable of using them atm.

The move I picked is listed as Rank C on leafninja

Ahhh, my bad, Pinky. I see whatcha meant.

Limits, in this case, refers to the maximum your character is capable of. So, by putting "Flawed B and A-Rank Jutsu" under "Limits," you're saying your Genin can actually use those Rank jutsu. Which they can't.

That's the problem, I believe.

Hmm, I thought it was worded right, should I just remove that line completely since I'd assume it's obvious Genin's would be incapable of doing B/A Rank Jutsu's unless for some ungodly reason (Like Naruto)

Should I just put, 'Uncapable of B and A-rank Jutsu' and when the guy get's Chuunin, I'll remove that line from the sheet?

Just don't put anything. Your limit is "D and C-rank techniques; access to basic bloodline limits." Nothing else needs to be said.

I'm gonna take a crack at this.

------------------------------------------

Name: Juro Hashimoto

Birthplace: Hidden Leaf Village

Talents
Genin Rank [+3]
Chakra Formation [Free]
Equipment Usage [Free]
Generic Skillset [Free]
Chakra Sense [0]
Chakra Control [-1]
Wind Chakra Manipulation [-2]
Advanced Senses (Hearing) [-2]
Tactician [-2]

Impairment [+3] (Blindness)

Strength
100% - Basic [Starting Stat]
-20% - Weakness

Skill
100% - Basic [Starting Stat]
+20% - Chakra Control

Jutsu Limits
Basic Bloodline Limits
Perfected E-Rank Jutsu
Access to D-Rank & C-Rank Jutsu

Custom Jutsu

Renkuudan – Drilling Air Projectile – Rank D
The ninja using this Jutsu will inhale large amounts of air into his or her lungs, and then will slam their fist to their chest to expel the wind. The wind will shoot out rapidly, forming a group of wind projectiles that are capable knocking an opponent off of their feet.

REMAINING POINTS – 0

Background

Born in the Hidden Leaf Village, Juro is a young student who has just earned his bearings as a ninja—he is, however, abnormally wise for his age, at a cost of physical strength. He has learned to control his intelligence and use tactics that do not involve sight, such as the Wind Chakra that he has come to prefer, because of the blindness he has that was caused by an accident in his younger years. He is currently seventeen years of age.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Did I do that right? Or did I mess up somewhere?

It looks like you have a point left over.

3 (genin) + 2 (weakness) + 3 (impairment) = 8

8 - 2 (chakra control) - 1 (wind manip) - 2 (tactician) - 1 (jutsu) = 2

EDIT: Actually, there is no Wind Chakra Manipulation for only 1 point. For some reason, Wind is more expensive than all of the other Nature Manipulation Talents. So either you meant to put another element, or you need to spend one more point on your basic manipulation.

Either way, you need the advanced talent (3 points for most manipulations, 4 points for wind) before it gives you a bonus to skill/strength.

EDIT2: Hey, Pinky, I've been wondering for a while now. Why are Martial Arts Master and Illusionist listed under Nature Manipulation? Why can't someone have, say, Fire Affinity and the 3 point Martial Arts Master talent?

I approve of this character. Rad is right; you have one more point. You don't have to spend it if you don't want to, though. Also, he's kind of old for a Genin - not that I'm complaining, I just think it's funny :B

Hm, I was going to recommend getting a Talent to improve the character's sense of hearing or smell to replace the loss of eyesight, but for some reason that's not on the list anymore. Adding it to Misc now

Wind has been described as the rarest and most effective battle element, so it costs 1 more point than the others.

It's to keep things in balance. Any character can have increased proficiency in taijutsu or genjutsu with the basic talent, but the higher level is equivalent to an affinity.

How old is a Genin usually? *doesn't regualrly engross himself in Naruto* And would that be fine as far as points go?

Yeah, the points all match up. The only problem I can see is that you still have +20% listed to the Skill stat, but you've taken Chakra Control down to only 1 point so it should just be +10%. Everything else is fine.

In the manga, most Genin are ages 10-14. Older Genin do exist, but since it's the lowest rank they're typically fodder material.
