Oosaru - This is one of the trademarks of the saiyan race. Those native to Vejita-sei are taught the ability to create a "false moon." This false moon can be used to trigger the transformation into a giant ape-like beast, similar to the natural transformation created from a full moon. Saiyan will find that without further training, they cannot calm their mind to focus on their task, and will find their strength increasing.

Oosaru (Trained)- While the boost in strength is helpful under the Oosaru transformation, the drawback is that, while transformed, a person loses all control of their actions. They revert to a primal beast, looking only to destroy what's around them. After further training, however, a saiyan can learn to control the primal urges that fill their mind, removing the "Berserk" Attribute and taking full use of their power.

Super Saiyan (SSJ) - This is an ability exclusive to those of the saiyan race. Using a burst of rage as a catalyst, a saiyan can boost their strength beyond its normal limits by transforming their body. This transformation is marked by their hair changing to a golden-blond. The same color change happens in the color of their ki aura. The transformation, at first, is taxing on both the body and the mind. Since the transformation is fueled by rage, a saiyan that has not practiced this often loses themselves in the overwhelming anger.

Super Saiyan 2 (SSJ2) - Even without having gone through the first transformation, it is possible for a saiyan to transform their body even further. Similar to the first transformation, the physical changes are bright golden hair standing straight up, and teal green eyes, with a golden aura imbued with electricity. Similar to the first transformation, if a saiyan has recently ascended, he will find himself consumed by the primal instinct and fighting for control.
