Both of those videos just seem so petty. I may not be a fan of the man but this is absurd.

This is supposed to be the G8, show some fucking professionalism.

I'm disappointed in the secret service. The guy should have had a bullet in his skull before the second shoe was in the air.

The reason we lost our most powerful ally in Afghanistan is because before the war really started a pair of "journalists" came to him to film an "interview" with a camera that was loaded with explosives. A shoe is a deadly weapon until proven otherwise, and a lot of people should be fired for that piss poor response.

Shoes can be incredibly deadly, particularly if the soles, instead of being filled with good old-fashioned rubber, are instead supported by something less benign... Like semtex.

Bush's quick moves are nice, but not exactly a surprise. He's been dodging the press for years, after all.
