Venomous Ki

Venomous Ki states that the ki's hindering effect can be a multitude of different hindrances, such as poison, or stunning, or something.

What I was wondering, was if I could make my hindering effect stickiness. Like ki interweaved with web. The effect would be breakable, and the web's strength would be equivalent to my focus power, which in turn would be a portion of my combat power. So weaker characters would have more difficulty breaking the binding of the ki than a stronger character.

From there, I plan on making a move that's a bit like a spider's web. Pretty much, I would weave a web that would take up the majority of my ki energy, depending on how strong I made it, and weave it between two trees or trip activated on the ground or something.

Would this be alright? Obviously the web would be a best move and I'd post it for evaluation when the time was right.
