Would the staff mind if I used time periods like The Crusades, and the Teutonic Order in my story?
I'm using them for context and examples. Not exactly re-enacting anything. If not, I can twist battles and sieges from those time periods to fit the universe we are in.
Thanks guys/gals.

I'd say I don't mind... but... There are dragons and dinosaurs on Earth as well.
I think you could just make up something to get your generic point across if you acknowledge that its not the exact same history (people, places) as real Earth.

Understood. I'll be gentle with what I do and I'll keep that in mind.
EDIT: Radical idea, could the story be like. "It's another planet called *insert name here*"?

You mean being on Earth and calling it a different planet?

I mean using The Crusades and the Teutonic order but having it be said that this is another planet. Thus making our Earth true to what we want. And allowing me to use the "real Earth stuff" because I'm calling it another planet in the Universe.
Make any sense?
Send me a PM if you still don't understand I'll divulge details. Thanks man.
EDIT: Ick I worded that horribly.
My idea? = Another Planet...Ex: Sol V
Keeping the 'Chubbs Earth' intact.

Like, 'Earth II' is RL Earth. 'Earth I' is Chubbs earth. Anything in our history (as in, like, human being on Earth in real life) could be acted out on Earth II.

That's so sad that Earth Prime is Chubbs earth and the second one is real life earth. XD
But yes it's fine, you just have to work into the fact that technology, and life on the DB earth is considerably different than what is here on our earth. Cat people, dog people, flying raccoon people are all normal.

I think I should have said that I talked to Bardock via PM's and this has been approved already. Thanks though! =D
