Master Roshi
#1
Vad is going to be flying to a cave on the main continent just Northwest of Roshi's island. Might I have some fun and use Master Roshi in my story at one point?

If so, what sort of things can he do? My major concern is, he has Ki Sense right?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, Master Roshi has Ki Sense. As far as using him, we don't have specific roles designated for NPCs yet (it is currently up for discussion on the staff board), so I don't see the harm in involving him in your storyline.

I thought we were keeping the old history intact? Like Master Roshi was Jackie Chun and completely different from the series's, Dr Gero never built the androids, etc. Just wondering because if we are, there are a few contradictions going on.

What contradictions?

If you see them, please point them out.

So my permission is granted? Awesome. Thanks Bardock.

Jackie Chun = Master Roshi, therefore Rose is saying that by meaning Master Roshi you mean Jackie Chun, who was a character here that has history separate from the anime character's. Therefore, in essence, there would be no "Roshi's Island."

Well, I feel backed into a corner...again. His perverse nature would have made a nice touch considering Trixie is drop dead goregous.

On that note. I'll find someone else, unless the admins decide other wise. I'm avoiding chaos right now. It seems to follow me where ever my ideas go though. >.<

Thanks for the answer Bardock, thanks for the replies Rose, Juno.

My brain just exploded a new idea out of gray matter for another NPC I could use. Ciao

I was just clarifying what Rose said. So far, the admins have given you permission.

I can wait and see. He's not imminent in the story.

It doesn't just have to be Roshi. There are plenty of lecherous, dirty old men in the world.

I'd think that Roshi being a seperate entity from the Chun with Chubbs history would be pretty simple, considering that major characters have changed hands entirely a few times in the history of canons, and the proper response to such a thing would be to forget that canon's previous history entirely.

I can't see why we wouldn't be able to work around writing Chun and Roshi as seperate beings.

To me, the thread is less about criticizing/defending Avatar and more about wondering how stoned Jack was when he saw the movie/made the thread.

I agree, as well. Once again, the purpose of my post was just clarifying what Rose said.
