(Sorry about the conflicting names. I can change it to Krim if you like, I jsut wasn't thinking when I registered! -_-
Name: Gozen
Race: Human(Demon?)
Sex: Male
Starting Planet: Earth
Profession: Exorcist/Medium
Fighting Style: Avoidance and Counter
Short Bio:
Gozen has seemingly manifested himself from nowhere within the past year. No records of his existence have been recorded in any medical, governmental or economic database despite his apparent age. Seeming to have known no one prior to his unexplained arrival, he was found wandering in the woods near the ruins of an ancient temple after local residence had made mention of an oni in the woods. Long abandoned to the mercy of time and nature, the temple had no food, water or long term shelter, and it is unknown how he managed to survive for any extended amount of time.
General Description:
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 155
Hair: Silver
Eyes: Yellow hazel
Gozen has a lithe, slender frame and stands slightly shorter than his actual height, due to his perpetual crouching hunch. He wears dark red ninjutsugi (the clothing that the stereotypical ninja wears) adorned with intricate gold embroidery depicting clouds across his shoulders. Black edges line the sleeves and the folds of the chest. A thick black leather girdle wraps tightly around his waist fitted with a large bronze buckle depicting a goblin’s grinning face. Strips of bandage are wrapped tightly around each hand, the palms soiled with soot and grime from regular use. Skin tight cloth lies under his ninjutsugi, riding up his neck and covering the space of the arm before his hand wraps.
The most notable feature of his appearance is his tarnished bronze Oni mask, depicting a grinning demon. The mask hangs over his fac with seemingly no support, his yellow tinted eyes glaring from beneath. His wild silver hair writhes out from the edge of the mask and scatters out behind his head in almost every direction.
A large kanabo (a type of metal spiked club) hangs from his waist with several tiny bells and ribbons hanging from the haft. The black iron of the head is covered in overlapping paper seals, holy wards written in red. The bells jingle with every step he takes, bringing a faint ring to everywhere he goes.
Starting Abilities: Medium, Ki Sense
Trait: Efficient
Strength 5%
Focus 50%
Endurance 5%
Agility 40%
Role-play Sample:
The pair of men sat in white lab coats behind the double sided mirror, looking into the cold white room of the questioning room. One pushed his thick framed glasses up his nose and took a slow sip of his Styrofoam cup coffee.
“We really don’t know anything about him. He obviously has some sort of mental problem, and the blood tests we took from him earlier today show signs of starvation and extreme dehydration… He had to be wandering around for quite some time,” the man says dryly.
“And he has no personal records?” the other replies from the right side.
“Nothing at all. We even did a search for his DNA profile and what we could manage to get of his fingertips.”
The man to the right nodded knowingly, crossing one leg over the other as he rose one hand to his chin, as though to contemplate.
“Any luck taking off that mask or top yet? We still need to give this guy a proper check up.”
“Not a chance. For as old as he looks, he’s a spry little guy. If we do manage to get our hands on him, it’s not for long. I think he’s being screened by choice for the most part.”
The two are cut off as a police officer leads a man who can be only described as looking insane. His eyes dance about the room from behind a tarnished bronze mask, the face twisted into a fanged grin as horns protrude violently from a mess of frayed silver atop his head. What appeared to be new red martial arts clothing wrapped carefully about him, and a grinning goblin staring up from his girdle.
He sits with his legs spread wide, his arms prostrate on the table. The police officer sits across from the man, looking across the long table. The bronze mask stared back at him, the body behind it unmoving.
“Why don’t you tell us where you’re from? You know we only want to do what’s best for you,” the policeman’s voice carrying a stern but caring tone. He slides a cup of water across the table to the masked man. “Have a drink; tell us what you were doing in those woods.”
The masked man tilted his head to the side, looking over to the officer. “Ahhhhh…” his voice pitched, dry, sounding scraping rust. “Why I was in the woods, you say? I saw a demon wandering in the woods, and I had to assume that it was me.”
The policeman stared blankly, not quite sure what to make of the statement. “I see... Maybe we should worry about your name for now. What’s your name?”
“As I have already told the doctors sitting so patiently behind the glass, you may call me Gozen,” the man turns and looks to the mirrored surface of the glass. Shocked, the men behind the glass look to each other and back out into the room. “And as far as my past, all you need to know is that it is over and gone.”
The men looked through the glass as the officer stared onward. The man in the mask planted his hands on the table and threw himself up to his feet, “I think it is about time for me to be leaving.”
As the masked man steps towards the door, the officer stands and places his hand on his chest, “Hold on there, we aren’t done here.” For a moment they simply stood in place, neither moving.
In a flash of movement, Gozen had made his way past the policeman and through the once locked door so quickly the policeman scarcely had time to notice his keys had been taken from his belt, let alone stop him.
As the officer rushed from the room, he scarcely saw Gozen’s red blur racing around a corner before bounding down the hallway.
---
Gozen strolled down the heavily populated streets, gathering more than a few looks. “Ahhhhh…” his voice piped out. “Much is changed! Such new marvels and wonders for me to wonder at,” he contemplated aloud as he stepped around a large metal mailbox. “I think I may like this new world!”
End
I'm sorry, I may have gotten a little carried away with my sample. Please let me know if there is anything I need to work on!
