This is just insane. Especially the part where she has 2 children, from rape, who she had to raise in isolation in a "series of sheds" in the backyard. And this guy has an awful history, and a P.O., how the hell did this go on for so long.

This baffles me, how something like this could go on for so long, and the police, I really hope they are putting themselves to blame here, as well. They should have followed protocol a bit more closely. Just...sick. This man should have his dick sliced off with a jagged, rusty knife, shoved down his throat, and tortured for however long his miserable life will last.

Been reading a bit about it since it happened. Apparently the guy thought he was some form of higher calling priest and was trying to create his own religion. He had a blog on the net and was telling people that he had been gifted by "the Creator" with the ability to speak the tongue of angels and was here to provide all of mankind's salvation. No doubt he thought that this rape/hostage situation was somehow tied into that. People who believe they are the second coming always tend to be the craziest of the crazy.
