There are a lot of interesting things in LoL that even many of the veteran players do not know about. Those strange, unique, and sometimes buggy facts most player never even consider to be true. That's what this thread is all about.

If you happen to know some interesting myths about champions, items, the maps themselves or anything at all, post below. (I have more stuff to add to this list myself, but I need to work on other projects)

Champions:

Akali - Akali's passive actually activates at 9.5 and 19.5 AD and AP, respectively. When other Ninjas are on the same team as Akali, each ninja loses 1 HP per ninja on the team. It's the Law of Inverse Ninja Strength hidden passive. Procing Akali's mark will count towards Rylias, but not to the Sheen family or break a Banshee's.

Alistar - While casting Headbutt, Alistar can use Pulverize to keep his target in place and stun them (this is pretty well known but whatever).

Amumu - Tantrum's damage reduction is applied after armor.

Anivia - It is possible to push enemies through walls (as in the walls on the map, not her ice walls) if you place her ice wall in just the right way. Placing her ice wall against terrain with an enemy in between will force the enemy through to the other side. As well, you can still physically trap enemies inside the wall in you place it in the center of the enemy. As well, if channeling teleport while the egg is active, Anivia will continue channeling it even after "dying".

Annie - If you cast Disintegrate while at 4 charges, then cast Molten Shield as it is traveling, your target will be stunned when the spell hits. Molten Shield damage counts for spell vamp.

Ashe - Because the arrow doesn't directly spawn out of Ashe and instead spawns slightly in front of her, it is possible to miss a point blank arrow if the enemy is very close to you.

Blitzcrank - Similar to Ashe, Blitz's grab always spawns out of his right arm. If you attempt to grab an enemy at point blank range, it is possible to miss if your target favors Blitcrank's left side.

Brand - None that I know.

Caitlyn - Ace in the Hole can be blocked by clones (ie Shaco, LeBlanc, etc). Also, Piltover Peacemaker is not a channeled spell, so CC will not stop it after it has been cast.

Cassiopia - When Cass is in game, no snake will appear on the map.

Cho'Gath - Cho's Spikes will only activate if his auto attack lands (dodge cancels Spikes).

Corki - None that I know.

Dr. Mundo - Mundo's healing ult will persist through Zilean's ult or Guardian Angel. Rapidly clicking Burning Agony will perform a single blip of damage without hurting himself.

Evelynn - None that I know.

Ezreal - Ezreal's ult is not a channel, so CC will not stop him after he casts it.

Fiddlesticks - Fiddle's crows can still instantly activate (max bounces in an instant) against Yorick's ult.

Galio - You can walk out of his ult if you have enough tenacity (HAHAHAHA).

Gangplank - Remove scurvy can be activated through suppression.

Garen - Garen's ult can be cast while in Judgment. It will not show the animation or deal damage until after Garen's Judgment is finished, but it will deal damage even if the champion flashes away (although it can bug, sometimes canceling the ult and damage).

Gragas - His damage reduction stacks multiplicatively with armor and magic resist damage reduction.

Heimerdinger -Heimer's healing aura persists through death, and he is still the only champion that can heal towers.

Irelia - None that I know.

Janna - None that I know.

Jarvan - You can teleport to his Demacian Standard (the flag). He's also immune to disabling effects while pulling himself to his flag or casting his ult.

Jax - Leap Strike grants a 20% bonus movement speed if he continues to run after landing. Knockup/back effects will cancel his jump.

Karma - None that I know.

Karthus - Wall of Pain's area of affect is slighter larger than the animation.

Kassadin -None that I know.

Katerina - Death Lotus detects stealthed champions.

Kayle - Righteous Fury will always hit even if her auto attack damage is dodged.

Kennen - When other Ninjas are on the same team as Kennen, each ninja loses 1 HP per ninja on the team. It's the Law of Inverse Ninja Strength hidden passive.

Kog'Maw - None that I know.

LeBlanc - None that I know.

Lee Sin - None that I know.

Leona - Zenith Blade can hit stealthed champions, but not unstealth them, and cannot be used on clones. Her passive damage activates before the ally's damage that proced it.

Lux - Lux's ult is not a channel and won't be canceled by CC effects.

Malphite - Malphite's ult cannot be stopped, unless he dies mid channel.

Malzahar -Call of the Void counts as two spells against spell shields like Banshee's Veil.

Maokai - None that I know.

Master Yi - When Highlander refreshes Wuju Style, the passive bonus stacks with the active bonus.

Miss Fortune - None that I know.

Mordekaiser - None that I know.

Morgana - Morgana's passive activates through spells like Smite or Ignite.

Nasus - None that I know.

Nidalee - Nidalee has a hidden passive that grants allied champions around her with 5 bonus experience if she is higher leveled than her when she levels up.

Nocturne - Nocture's spell shield can absorb up to two spells used against him if used in quick succession, but only gain the buff as if he was hit by one. If he uses a blink while traveling with his ult, his ult will cancel and he will stop moving.

Nunu - If Nunu is not visible to the enemy team and casts his ult, enemies will be unable to see his ult being used but will still be affected by it.

Olaf - None that I know.

Orianna - None that I know.

Pantheon - Panth's ult slow will hit through Morgana's spell shield.

Poppy - None that I know.

Rammus - Rammus' Defensive Ball Curl will proc spell vamp.

Renekton - Ruthless Predator will apply on-hit effects twice/thrice.

Rumble - None that I know of.

Ryze - None that I know of.

Shaco - Shaco's ult can be used to cancel Karthus' ult or Caitlyn's ult as well as other projectiles if timed correctly.

Shen - When other Ninjas are on the same team as Shen, each ninja loses 1 HP per ninja on the team. It's the Law of Inverse Ninja Strength hidden passive.

Singed - If Singed's Fling animation starts after being stunned, he will still flip his target. Same if they try to flash away.

Sion - None that I know.

Sivir - If two spells are cast against Sivir in rapid succession, she can block both with her spell shield, but only receives bonus mana from one block.

Skarner - Skarner can still cast spells if he is suppressing a champion.

Sona - None that I know.

Soraka - None that I know.

Swain - Lazer Burd persists through death.

Talon - None that I know.

Taric - None that I know.

Teemo - None that I know.

Tristana - Trist can still attack, use items, and cast spells while in Rocket Jump. While mid-jump, Trist is considered where she jumped from until she lands on her destination.

Trundle - None that I know.

Tryndamere - He can spin out of Veigar's stun.

Twisted Fate - His ult will reveal wards or other invisible units, if a revealed champion is nearby.

Twitch - If one champion dodges a Spray and Pray shot, all targets will dodge that shot (even minions).

Udyr - Udyr can stun with Bear Stance while blinded.

Urgot - Acid Hunter has a longer range than listed when firing at a locked-on target.

Vayne - Vayne can tumble through Veigar's stun.

Veigar - None that I know.

Vladimir - None that I know.

Warwick - If he is blinded before casting Infinite Duress, he won't deal damage. When visiting Urf's grave on Summoner's Rift, the ghost of Urf will attempt to attack Warwick.

Wukong - None that I know.

Xin Zhao - Three Talon Strike are considered spell casts and cannot be affected by blind. Only the third hit of Three Talon Strike will break a Banshee's.

Yorick - While ghouls don't grant gold, if killed with TF's passive, Gang's Parley, or Ashe's Hawkshot, the bonus gold will still be granted.

Zilean - Time Bomb's damage cannot be blocked by spell shields, but it can avoid the placement of the bombs. If a bomb is placed on an invisible target, the bomb will also be invisible.

I added a lot of stuff to the list. You should give your favorite champs a glance to see if you could find something that you didn't know. Likewise, if you know something that I didn't put, please feel free to post it and I'll add it asap.

Detonating Akali's mark (that is, the attack that follows the mark, which consumes it and does the extra damage) will proc Rylai's (thereby counting as a spell), but won't proc Lich Bane or break a Banshee's.

Rapidly switching Mundo's Burning Agony on and off will cause it to do a single bit of damage each cycle (you have to time this right to get consecutive switches to work), without subtracting from Mundo's hp.

[Kaden]

Annie - the returned damage from her Molten Shield with trigger spell-vamp.

Cassiopeia - while Cass is in a game, no snakes will appear on the map (normally snakes slither around the ground).

Jax - knock-up/back effects will cancel his Leap Strike if he gets hit mid-jump (as opposed to, say, Jarvan's flag-toss).

Tristana - until she lands from casting her Rocket Jump, she's still considered to be where she started and will be affected appropriately by AoEs when she lands (eg. she jumps, but before landing Amumu uses his ultimate; Tristana would land from her jump and be immobilized).

Xin Zhao - only the third hit of Three Talon Strike will break a spell shield effect.

Yeah, I've no idea how someone noticed this. I never noticed snakes in the FIRST place, much less their ABSENCE when using Cass.
