I had more questions than these, but I apparently forgot a bunch of them when I sat down to make this thread, so here's what I've got so far:
Is there a currency? As far as I see so far there's no Zeni system like the DBZ rpg, which I'm all for, just curious if there's an official name of the currency used, or if we're using a copper/silver/gold WoW system, etc.
Elemental Questions:
First, my main squeeze, Earth:
Is earth in this more of a stone, dirt and lava kinda deal, or is there nature(Growing, using plants) magic? Both? Something totally different?
Water: Ice?
Lightning:Magnetism/metals?

I hadn't thought about establishing a canonically official currency. We'll say it's... copper/silver/gold. That maybe be subject to change. If someone is reading this and the defined currency is important to their character, let me know and I'll move it up on my mental priority list.
As far as spells go, the idea is to be pretty open about what people can do. I thought about making an official cross-element list (Water + Wind = Ice or Earth + Fire = Lava and so on) but changed my mind as I don't want things to necessarily be that spelled out. The answer to those questions about the elements is basically if your spell makes sense and seems reasonable, it'll be fine. If someone wants to make Ice using just a Water crystal, that's fine, but if someone wants to use both Water and Wind to make Ice (maybe for storyline purposes or just to be unique or just to have a stronger spell), that's also totally fine.
There may be instances where someone tries to do something and a staffer has to come in and tell them they'll need to add in elements to do what they want to do. As an example, if you wanted to make a "Lava Golem" spell using just Earth, I would almost certainly tell you that you'll need to add a Fire Crystal in there somewhere. I want to keep those instances as limited as possible, but I seem it as fairly inevitable.

So, regarding the faction stats, is it safe to assume the 10 you assign at the start is a permanent number? As in, you don't gain more over time?

I hadn't decided. Basically I wanted that as an option, so I built the option into it.
It's very likely that people will be able to buy stat points with XP, especially if complete specialization becomes popular.

As I haven't made a real post yet or used any skills, is it too late to switch from tek to song? The more I think about it, the more the spells I think up seem like a pretty far stretch for tek unless I'm toting around like 20 guns/swords/rings to shoot each one and I think mirroring the Bleach Kido system sounds more convenient. I think I'll just pay out the nose whenever I get around to wanting my construct/s.

Yeah, that's fine. You just want those numbers switched?

Yeah, and if Pummel could be moved to Song too please.Makes more sense that way I think. Thank you.
Just put a new description in the Spellbook. It'll be the same price.

So, I was thinking about having Dresh track down one of the Council members to learn from him/her. Probably won't be getting there for a bit, but I think it'll be my initial adventure to find them, anything I should know?
Not really. In any organization there will be people doing things towards their own agendas, but ultimately the Council is about making sure magic doesn't destroy the world.
