Mario RPG is one badass game. I like to pretend Paper Mario never happened, though.

paper mario wasnt that bad. though I do wish they would have taken the RPG Mario element in a different direction.

I know a lot of people were turned off by the cell shading. I thought it just wasn't a fun game. Especially when compared to the first RPG.

My nephew loved it, when I learned he liked it I turned him to the first one and he just about made a brownie in his tiny pants. They should import Mario RPG to the GBA... it would sell huge I bet.
