Vegeta has the map, and the objective, which is to find the clue inside the abandoned market place. Head towards it, and enter it. Don't try to rush things, move at your own pace.
Remember, you can do things as you wish. You don't have to stick with the same leader, or even the same group.
As things happen, I will roleplay with the heading 'EVENT' to progress things. Events can be good...or horrible.
You have until Thursday Afternoon USA Central Time. The maximum times you can rp this round is 3.

The gears were turning in everyone?s head like a great complex machine, nearly as complex as the systems that they had been looking at upon their captivity. Grand schemes were seducing some with power, while others reveled in sheer apathy. Reijin himself was turning over the situation every few minutes within his own mind like a gently searing steak, waiting until things were sorted out just the way that he liked them.
He coolly surveyed the cabin that he was in to take in exactly who he had been roomed up with. His brow rose a bit as he took in quite a few recognizable forms, some from the distant past and other from the recent future. The human that he had been fighting before by the name of Uub was nowhere in sight. However, most of his fellow alliance members were there amongst the group. He hadn?t seen Koola on any of the screens as they had been captured, yet in return he found himself in the company of Olibu.
Olibu was a striding youth that had joined the group while Reijin was away for business on the planet Dante. He wasn?t totally sure of what the man was capable of, as he had returned to the news that ?a few of the initiates had kicked the bucket?, according to a quick note written in his room. He hadn?t really known the man personally, so it bothered him not, but here he was in the man?s presence none the less. This encounter could either strengthen the common bond that the two shared through their alliance, or it could end with one of them having been removed from it, and if that was the case, Reijin could assure that he would not be the man. Olibu had impressed the group greatly in order to have been granted permission to join them, so he was sure that no such extremities were necessary.
Similarly, the smaller creature known as Bebi was nearby. Reijin eyes twitched curiously as he noticed the immediate segregation of the Xero Tolerance members around himself and Vejita. This creature was another nearly unknown being, as he had not had any personal contact with it before the fight with Uub. He assumed that that Vejita and Bebi had exchanged words from what he saw of the two during the fight, but during that moment, that really was no concern to him. He knew not what Bebi was capable of as a fighter. He had no knowledge of his general areas of expertise or his fighting style. He had no foresight of exactly how this creature planned to attack, but he had himself fought far stranger looking beings.
His Saiyan Prince, the ever stalwart Vejita, was standing next to him, merely a head shorter than himself, and yet at the same time, higher than any other. He was casually following in suit watching the room, and was collecting his gatherings in much the same way. With a slight shrug of apathy, he looked down upon the map that he had awakened to find in his possession. He gave it a slight run over with his eyes. Those prideful, merciless eyes that echoed his own with a symphony of ruthlessness? That would be the eyes that would pass down to thousands upon thousands of Saiyan warriors when the time came for the next dynasty of Saiyan Elite to dawn. Vejita himself would lead this era into being.
Just behind him stood a vaguely familiar face that he had encountered within the jail cell of his imprisonment on Frost?s planet immediately after Dante. Bardock was the warrior?s name, if he remembered correctly. This was another of the Saiyan warriors that populated the galaxy. He was a lower class warrior from what little Reijin knew of the original Saiyan records, and yet the man had performed marvelously, instilling and nurturing the belief within Reijin?s soul that the Saiyans were the strongest living creatures to have ever been encountered. The man seemed a bit brash, and had a rough look about him at all times, but he never experienced a hasty moment, and would be a fine man to have on his team during a rough time. He was unsure as to what form of allegiances this man had claimed for himself, but his attitude seemed to betray any form of true loyalty to any short of himself and a very few.
Another creature stood tall as well, with a vague resemblance to the creature that inhabited his headquarters at random and whenever he chose. Uncanny was the only word that could describe any form of short hushed words he?d heard about this man, known only as ?Metal Koola?. Reijin really knew nothing about his origins, nor had he ever met the creature in person. He could only assume from his association with the Koola that he had grown familiar with when judging him, which left him with a mixture of trust and also suspicion. This being was one of the changelings responsible for ushering in the invasion led by Frost himself, and that was never a small line to cross. However, Reijin had not had any true opinion on the entire ordeal on a personal level, as it really mattered little who had occupied the Earth as long as he was able to do as he pleased. Heroes adorned the many planets of this world, and a hero he was not. He would leave the tyrannical expulsions to the heroes, and from what he?d learned, they had once again succeeded, like lemmings trying ruthlessly to kill themselves mindlessly. They just could not be stopped, he supposed.
His mind drifted back to his evaluations, and he allowed his cool gaze to fall upon a barbaric looking man. A man of many abilities, Yamu had impressed him beyond any measure during his fight with him in the Namekian arena. He had proven himself to be a very capable fighter and showed that even on a planet as dismal and pathetic as the one they had met upon, that warriors of great caliber truly existed. This man fought savagely, using his strength like a finely honed sword, a sword forged by the greatest blacksmith that could have been found. This man had used a technique that Reijin could only call ?slipstreaming? to walk upon a razor thin barrier of ki to keep him above that actual ground itself without making it apparent that he was doing so. This allowed him to sidestep any form of friction and gain a massive speed advantage over Reijin until he finally had noticed that he had been outthought.
Finally he saw a strange creature that he had never seen before. Yamu was standing close to him in an unconscious gesture of trust, so Reijin could only assume that the two shared some common history together. The creature was somewhat shorter than Vejita, and a bit thinner in physical body structure, and yet seemed to radiate a bit of an inherited strength within him. Reijin narrowed his eyes upon that thought, as he could not truly determine what sex this creature was, so he had to assume from his general attitude that just like Bebi, the creature considered itself either male or neither. His reptilian body was adorned with an almost royal bluish purple tinting to its structured scales. Reijin glanced over at the list of warriors that was near Vejita and once more at this creature and pieced his identity within him. Burter Junior, he assumed. He had never heard of him before, but he supposed that if Yamu had any form of connection with him that he had to be a very capable warrior.
Olibu had seemed to wander off towards one of the windows of the cabin and pressed his face against the glass. "Intriguing,? he spoke softly, a very strong voice expelling from him. He turned and looked at the rest of the group, who seemed to have turned to him after he had spoken, breaking the silence that was nearly deafening the room. His expression was one of grim proportions, and his booming voice filled the room as he leaned casually against the brick of the cabin. "Guess we'll just have to use the door, eh?" He casually thumbed towards the exit. "There'd better be something in there. I don't have time to waste on a simple game." Grimacing, he began to slowly walk towards the door for a better look, but his face seemed to betray him as he saw nothing. Reijin assumed that he windows were not true windows but were instead one way mirrors. That could mean that something was outside looking in at them, watching them. Then he remembered what the purpose of the event was. A simple game show, or so it was claimed, was something that millions of people all over watched in secret.
The man known as ?Brim? had transported them here. Reijin would not lie in that things like this often made him uncomfortable, but it was nothing new by far. The man seemed to have greater intentions to him, and yet at the same time seemed almost desperate, grasping weakly for the remnants of an empire long lost in order to show the underground world that he had not lost anything at all. His once proud face had claimed to them that through their technology that any who perished during this show, and he had assured them all that a number of them would do so, would be returned as they were to the location that they were last found alive at. In some cases, this meant returning life to the previously deceased that had been brought here. If a man could pit thirty warriors to fight for their lives with little to no thought of who they were as anything more than simple entertainment, then he was a terrible, evil man. If a man could offer to then return life to all who entered, even those that had not been living in the first place, then that removed a large portion of the ominous aura that plagued this entire situation. If the man was truly evil, why would he return to them their lives? Why would he care?
Reijin really knew nothing about the man?s intentions beyond what he?d been told, and he never took anything at face value. The man could either have been boldly lying to them about his ability to rebuild them as they were, or he could have meant it as a simple gesture of appreciation for the services that they were being forced into. He had mentioned that if they did not cooperate in any form then he would kill them and they would truly die.
"Not much of a damned capture, if you ask me. Take us prisoner for hardly ten minutes and then throw us into a game? Who the hell are these fools anyway? ...I hope to crush them as soon as I possibly can." The giant of a man was still speaking to the room, as if hoping that others would break their frozen stature and work together. He repeatedly gave Metal Koola a cautious eye, and yet at the same time showed no sign of aggression toward him. He had been slowly inching towards the door, and Reijin saw the hint that he?d been trying to give off.
Vejita looked up from the map that he had been looking at and glanced around. Reijin couldn?t tell if he?d done a general assessment of the situation as well or not, but he seemed to speak as if he?d simply accepted the situation for the time being. Knowing what he knew of Vejita, he was not too thrilled with this at all. ?According to this map, we are supposed to traverse our way to this marketplace nearby. I?m not sure exactly why, but it says that we need to ?investigate? it.? Speaking these words, he surveyed the room grimly, tightening his other fist. He looked each of them in the eye, making sure that he had their attention. ?I have been designated as the leader of this group, and if you do not like hearing that, then you are welcome to chance your survival outside. In the meantime, we are going to work together and function as a unit. Let?s get this done.?

The cabin seemed newly built by the fresh pale wood that made up its exterior. Yamu was tense, BJ had been placed in his ?team? and none of Yamu?s other allies had been placed with him. ?Watch and observe.? Yamu whispered the simple words out of the corner of his mouth so that only the mini Burter could here. The tiny azure tike nodded and began intensely staring at the other warriors in the cramped space, leaning forward and squinting.
Yamu smiled, ?Not that hard?just observe, see how they are acting, see what it tells about them.? Then the bald human?s eyes caught and eerily familiar face. Reijin?they had fought on Namek during a very select tournament. The young man?s power had been incredible. By wits alone Yamu had survived several minutes but the alien powerhouse had inevitably smashed him to the ground and moved on to the finals. The Earth-jin remained wary of that one. Seeing someone you know could kill you without thought, it must be how endangered species feel their first week in the zoo. The others were all strangers except for? ?So, Metal Koola, they let your sorry shiny ass out of hell??
The reflective reptilianesque fighter was on Yamu in a second, the two chest to chest, and Yamu?s eyes a little higher trying to stare through each other. ?Going to run away again, Yamu??
?You just wish some one cared about your pathetic life enough to bring it back.?
?Big words, you want a round three??
The air was tense, the seconds ticked by painfully slowly, as a crocodiles grin spread Yamu?s face. ?Yes, you piece of shit, you killed me.?
?Only after you killed me you lucky??
?BUH BUH BUH!? Yamu shouted cutting the changeling prince off, ?I was not finished. I can?t wait to send you back to Hell, but I?m also not a loser and I am not stupid. Right now, to win this bizarre ass game, I have to work with you. The SECOND killing you doesn?t effect tat im blowing your chrome finished head right off.?
Metal Koola thought over it for a second. He did not truly hate Yamu and he still wanted to learn what made the warrior fight with such heart. HE nodded, ?Your better not let anyone take your good for nothing life before I have the chance.?
As the metallic monstrosity turned and followed their ?leader? out the door Yamu swooped up Yamu and walked protectively behind the boy, ?What have you learned??
The child was eager and began to lift his hand up to point into the others who were walking ahead of them, Yamu pushed his arm down by his scaly wrist ?Don?t point. Just tell me.?
The boy nodded, understanding the need for secrecy. ?The blond guy and green man are definitely somehow with those two?? a slight nod indicated the large brawny fighter with the map and Reijin who was following him close. ?Plus, blondie is talking to much??
?Ahh?Yamu replied, ?So Goldilocks is nervous??
?Also, Mr. Shiny who you had a run in with, he is looking at you whenever you?re not at him, seems to be studying you??
The vein covered Earthling had to fight the urge not to shoot his eyes over to Metal Koola. ?Great job BJ. Very attuned. Now, if we want to win this we have to stick together. I think some of my friends are around in other groups, but too soon to go after them. Right now it you and me and an adventure!? He said the last part re assuring, trying to ?pump up? BJ and get him ready.
The sapphire warrior beamed and began talking to himself, ?A REAL adventure?just like dad. I?m going to make him proud of me!?
Yamu looked down at the guy and thought back to Bra?s words just before they had been teleported here and finally took the time to process everything internally. ?So, Burter had a kid?maybe that?s why he didn?t want to talk about it?whoever this little guys mother is must have died. Don?t worry Big Blue, I?ll bring him back safe and sound.?
?Flight would cut down the time in a fraction of a second.? The sun-glass eyed Reijin aligned warrior said, to no one in particular but loud enough for all to hear.
The whole group looked from one another embarrassed for a few short seconds before they all took to the air and blasted off though the thin air.
The place puzzled Yamu, it was supposedly an asteroid, but it was large enough to have magnetic poles for a compass to operate. Plus, he had seen no indication of detection or recording equipment. How was the ?show? being broadcast? The Earth-Jin was sure SOMETHING was going on here other then a TV show, something much darker.
?Little Blue! Don?t get so far away!? Yamu shouted as the lizard-boy began to soar higher and higher, ?Damn Icarus?going to singe his wings then his Pa is gonna singe mine for letting it happen.?
?We are there!? Some masculine voice called from the front of the formation.
?OH good, time to see what Level 1 is?? Yamu muttered,

?You?ve got to be fucking kidding me? Was all Vegeta could get out of his mouth once he found out the news. He was standing there, holding the map and objective in his hands while surrounding by many different fighters of color and race. What kind of game is this? The prince slowly scanned up and down the map. Apparently they had to head towards the Market place. It didn?t make sense though. None of this did. One moment he was standing outside his headquarters, watching Reijin and Uub exchange blow for blow, then the next he was in that strange room. The capsules though, what was that about? And Raditzu, he occupied one of the capsules. This little game could prove to be a bit more interesting then he had originally thought with Raditzu here. He would hope to meet him up somewhere down the line, and have the chance to fight him.
He reached down and gave a gentle touch to his pouch, ensuring the dragonball was still there. It was. If he found out that someone had stolen it during his unconscious state, he would no doubt go on a killing rampage. He didn?t do all this work for nothing, although it may seem like it. With Reijin?s own dragonball around, he knew he wouldn?t be able to utilize the power it held and ascend to the next level of Super Saiya-jin. But if the need ever arose, he knew he?d find some way to overcome it. Vegeta looked up and began to go around the room with his eyes. Yamu and Burter Jr. were the first his eyes made contact with. ?Don?t know them, and they don?t seem very strong.? Vegeta thought to himself, analyzing the situation carefully.
The next one his eyes fell upon was Bardock. A natural Saiya-jin warrior. His nose was like a stone, and his jaw was like a jagged boulder. By the look of his age, you could tell he was one of great wisdom and knowledge. Bardock was a good fighter to have in a fire team. He felt a slight relief in his body once he spotted him. Someone he could trust, but on the other hand, trust was a very strong word. All he knew though was that he would be a loyal help if trouble ever arose. A sense of security began to build within his body. Vegeta continued his search, and spotted Metal Koola. He?s come across this fighter many times before, and has always been impressed. Definitely not someone you want to fuck with, but still unable to touch the power of his own.
?Good to know I have some kind of strength.? Vegeta glanced over at Metal Koola when he spoke, acknowledging the fact that he was one of the strongest in the room. There was no doubt that this team had some intense power built into it, but then again, this was a game. So would power be the key, or intelligence? The metallic changeling nodded in response to the compliment and continued to examine his surroundings. Vegeta realized that the remaining four in the room, including himself, were all from his own team. Now the sense of security increased dramatically.
?This Brim character.? He began to speak, grabbing everyone?s attention, ?has already insulted me. He first thinks he can teleport me from wherever the fuck he wants, and put me in a game, a TV show if you will.? His eyes became sharp and he spat on the ground next to his feet. ?Who does he think we are? Pawns in a game of chess? No, fuck that. I?m going to along with his game, and win. He?ll have to show his face at that time won?t he?? His eyes shifted around the room with hatred, ?and when he does?I?ll kill him!? An slight purple aura began to levitate around his body. This wasn?t a game, this was real life, and the prince wasn?t one to take that lightly. He has died before, and wasn?t too fond of the afterlife, especially hell.
?I was designated your leader. Usually I don?t like dealing with this shit, but right now isn?t the time for complaints. If you don?t know me, I am the prince of the Saiya-jin?s and heir to Vegeta-sei?s throne. It?s obvious I?m the most powerful one here mind you, so if anyone should have any problem with me and my authority, then feel free and try to challenge it. Myself, along with these three,? he nodded over to his alliance members, ?will ensure you have a fun time in doing so.? Vegeta looked around into the eyes of the waiting warriors. ?So if there are no further issues, shall we proceed?? With that, Vegeta, Reijin, Olibu, and Bebi began walking towards the exit of the cabin. As the door swung open, a completely new world was brought into their vision. This was different then anything the Saiya-jin prince had seen before. And frankly, he didn?t like it very much. Thoughts of just destroying the entire planet, or asteroid for that matter, crossed his mind with ease. It wouldn?t be troublesome at all.
And then it hit him. Around his neck he felt something sort of constricting his movement and breathing. The collar that Brim had spoken about was still there. He threatened that if any of the fighters gave him trouble, he would kill them instantly. Was that really possible? A piece of metal and wires around his neck was really a bomb? The first thing after they won then, would ensure that the collar device was taken off and proceed on the killing spree. Yes, that sounded like a damned good plan which brought an evil smirk onto Vegeta?s face.
The warriors trekked for a short period of time before Bebi said something of intelligence. ?Flight would cut down the time in a fraction of a second.? Vegeta stopped abruptly in his tracks. Not only listening to Bebi?s input, but also feeling something strangely odd. His eyes darted to the left. No it wasn?t odd at all. ?Raditzu.? Vegeta murmured out from his parched lips. He sensed that the Saiya-jin?s power and speed increased dramatically. No doubt he was on the move, and fast.
?I agree. We must hurry; there might be some sort of time limit on this game.? An aura of great intensity suddenly erupted around his body, flaring up with such heat and power. His eyes looked back at his team of eight. ?Keep up if you can. I?m not slowing down for anybody.? He had no doubt that his alliance and Metal Koola would be able to stay in close distance, but for the others however, he couldn?t know. Suddenly a large fray of dust and sand exploded into the sky as the prince of Saiya-jin?s darted forward at an incredible rate of speed. Reijin, Olibu and Bebi took off at a great velocity right after the prince, followed by Metal Koola and the rest.

Vegeta was the first to land in the marketplace. They had seen a figure from above and chose to land in front of it. Though some were irked by his obvious controlling attitude, no one was dumb enough to question the saiyan prince's leadership. Reijin landed behind him, then Metal Koola and finally the rest. Yamu and Burter Jr, feeling a little out of place, stayed in the back.
The figure was tall, a little shorter then Yamu; about the size of Metal Koola. His face was covered by the darkness of the hood he wore, a crimson cloak to match it. Not an inch of skin could be seen under his gloves and high boots. He was, in short, a little creepy.
"I guess you're the one we're supposed to find," Vegeta told the stranger. "Care to tell me what's going on?"
The figure looked up. Through the darkness, two navy blue eyes stared back at the saiyan prince. "Bring me the medal." The voice was, surprisingly, female.
"Medal? What medal?" This time it was the young Burter Jr.
"Bring me the medal," she repeated.
Vegeta turned to face his group, hands folded over his muscular chest. "Okay, the medal has to be in this marketplace somewhere. Let's find it and get this over with."
(Okay, the marketplace is completely outdoors, it consists of many shops like a flea market. The cloaked woman won't move, no matter what you say, and she'll keep repeating the same thing. Next to the market is the town. It's completely deserted.)

Although a feeling that was common, Bardock was pissed. He had been enthralled in battle, adrenaline surging, fists flaming; energy pumping. One moment his body was fiercly combating guerilla forces in the deserts of Vegeta-sei, the next, he felt himself pulled to a completely foreign environment, the effect similar to the stretching of a rubber band. The saiyan was completely unaccustomed to being uprooted from his chosen location to that of another by someone else. More infuriating than his body snatching was the moment of capture. The sudden teleportation had placed him in front of an array of large capsules. More disturbing were the contents of these singular chambers: other fighters. Although his charcoal eyes recognized a few others, he was immediately drawn to the shocking faces of those he had never expected to be there. Android 18?Raditzu, and Kakarotto! It was horrifying and confusing. A slim green man?no, not a man, but a mere adolescent?confronted him. Bardock knew it was to be his fate as well, and although his resistance was valiant, was easily dispatched and subdued. If his sons faired no better, what hope did he have?
Upon awakening, neck and spine sore and stiff from the brief skirmish, he found himself in a cabin of unknown origin. He was completely surrounded by others, some he knew, most not. He didn?t get out much. Windows surrounded the inside, but were only one way. The fighter had seen enough interrogation rooms to know that someone was always behind them, though the purpose remained undiscerned. Eerie that they were being watched. Bardock soon learned his purpose: he was a participant of some twisted machination known as ?reality television,? whatever that was. In short, it was some kind of sick game by the title Friend or Foe. The saiyan didn?t know what that was, nor did he know who this Brim character was. However, with a mere glance, he could see grim recognition in the eyes of others. They'd been here before, known its pain and hurt. The collar about his neck was reminiscent of Dante?s Abyss, but then his involvement had been voluntary. But soon, however, the brawler?s focus was not on that of his circumstances or those who had been forced along with him. Brim himself was disfigured, mashed with bionic parts no doubt needed to compensate for loss in a past battle, but the form next to him was whole, healthy, and nearly identical: his son, Kao.
Bardock?s black eyes darkened with deep malice. Kao was the one who jumped him. The saiyan easily placed the mantle of blame on the young one?s shoulders, although he knew full well his father was the one pulling the puppet strings. Nobody attacked him in such a cowardly manner and lived to tell about it. He stared into the youth?s eyes, making no effort to mask his malignant intent.
Before this game is over, I?m going to kill you, he vowed silently, wishing his animosity could be conveyed directly into the mind of his prey.
Game introductions quickly subsided. The plot was simple: work together to discover clues as to the destruction of Kala?s inhabitants. Disgusting?not only was there no given incentive to start wailing on one another, but it was a task of intellect and teamwork. Bardock kept no alliance other than to himself and family, for good reason. Trust was difficult to build, but was all too easy to break. Self-reliance was a virtue he held dear, and would only consort with others should the occasion call for it?which it did. His group was a decent size, eight in number including him. The saiyan recognized only two people: Prince Vegeta, son of the royal dynasty that lorded over his homeworld, and the youthful saiyan he had been imprisoned with shortly after the conclusion of Dante?s Abyss. Bardock let the tide of his anger ebb. Now was the time to be alert, and make observations. He refused to indulge the sudden inclination to find Raditzu and Kakarotto. They were most assuredly fine. Although Prince Vegeta was only known to him by reputation, and although the lower class saiyan was not a drooling servant of the crown, he felt obligated to stand behind him out of loyalty to his kind. It was a responsibility expected of any saiyan (although their home was left in turmoil by a civil war that threatened to dismantle such a tradition), and one that Bardock would uphold. But that didn?t mean he was going to do so with any modicum of courtesy or formality. Bar afforded no one such respect, and royalty was no exception.
A list by his prince revealed the names of those he had been forced to accommodate: Yamu, Burter Jr., himself, Olibu, Metal Koola, Vegeta ? Leader, Reijin, and Bebi. Ironic that Vegeta turned out to be the taskmaster.
Reijin?that?s a saiyan name, Bardock observed.
He glanced at the younger man. At last he could put a name to his face. They had only briefly met before, but Bardock had a decent first impression to go off of. Reijin seemed to be calm and level-headed, exuding a sense of deep ambition. He seemed to be one of the few saiyans to actually have the ability to think comprehensively, an excellent trait in marriage to the incomparable fighting prowess their race was infamous for. His gestures and movements betrayed a far superior intellect than most of his kinsmen. Although, Bardock did remember a few particulars that suggested as to how Reijin was captured: energy burns left in the wake of a head-on attack. He might have excellent composure, but the trademark fighting persona was ever present. Bardock was interested to see the young man in a fight. Until anything suggested he should otherwise, the elder held no quarrel. Reijin would no doubt prove a reliable comrade. Their eyes met at a glance, and Bardock gave a barely perceptible nod of acknowledgement.
His pupils moved on to the others, mouth drawn thin and brows deeply furrowed, chiseled jaw clenched. The others chatted away with one another, while Bardock remained silent and obscure.
Standing out among their ensemble was a man who appeared to be of changeling descent, yet was garnered head to foot in an encasement of brilliantly polished metal. The shell no doubt was a protective cover for robotic innards. Obviously he must be the one called Metal Koola. A subtle regard of mistrust and a not-so-subtle animosity was directed towards him, suggesting that his previous transgressions were not favored in the eyes of others. Bardock was not one to judge a man for his actions, unless, of course, they interfered with his own territory. His cool exterior betrayed nothing, and Bardock was quickly done with him. Flaring his nostrils, the saiyan picked up the stench of human. Two of them, in fact: a bald one and a large one with flowing blonde locks. They reeked of the foul odor. He couldn?t associate names to faces, as he had never before seen them. Still, he rather disliked humans as a general rule. A blend of arrogant prejudice motivated him to look over them?for now. The last members to be observed were smaller creatures. The shorter of the two was a strange gray being?strange in appearance only. It was intellectually cold and calculating, combined with a displayed personality of pure contempt for any and everything else. Its type almost instantly demanded mistrust and suspicious. Bardock wanted as little to do with it as possible, unless he was to be the deliverer of its demise. Because of its limited stature, the saiyan assumed it was the one named Bebi, an association derived from an obvious stereotype. The last was a reptilian beast. Filmy royal blue skin was adorned with rough scales, and na?ve red eyes inquisitively scanned his environment. The bronze bruiser remembered very briefly seeing a reptile man looking exactly like him in the capsule room, only larger. This was to be Burter Jr., of course. Almost sad that he was separated from his father, but the bald human protectively hovered over him, seemingly out of obligation. Bardock knew his features to be masculine, so was clear as to his gender. Seeing the little boy stirred up some form of paternity. Horrible father he had been, a father he was nonetheless. He decided, although someone had already undertaken the task, to keep an eye on the kid. His own father had deeply instilled the mantra, ?That?s what they do, because fathers are supposed to protect their sons.? Maybe this way he could make up for what he had failed to do before. Bardock dispelled the feelings, leaving only resolution in their wake.
A shadow of repressed memory suddenly tugged at the corners of Bardock?s consciousness, reminding him of his last encounter with a child. Dars. The mere name almost brought a shudder to his powerful frame. He quickly disposed of the image.
Sending out tendrils of invisible energy, Bardock quickly determined that he was in the lower half of the group power-wise. This information came bitterly, a constant reminder of his limited skill. The saiyan also let the results of his quick probe simmer in the back of his brain. He was, however, not so bothered by the fact that his prince was stronger than him. Hierarchy demanded it, but to hell with hierarchy. The simple fact that he was so powerful a symbol required Vegeta to be strong, and stronger he was. On a more optimistic side, such strength from his other constituents ensured their ?survival? to be at better odds.
The golden-haired man began to speak, and Bar?s eyes reflexively followed the deep voice. Hearing him speak only deepened the dislike. The fighter imagined the other as one of those self-righteous hero types. Damn, how he hated them. Every word washed over the black-haired brawler, each one making him want to vomit. It was not the subject of the word, but the inflection and personality behind them.
Shortly, Prince Vegeta delivered a speech, most of which was lost on the lower class warrior, as he wasn?t fully paying attention. This was not to discredit the prince?s commanding (though somewhat colloquial) rhetoric, for he was a natural born leader, but Bardock wasn?t too indulgent in that kind of discourse.
They flew to the marketplace, their designated destination. Bardock ignored most of the others, but glanced occasionally at Burter Jr. His movements suggested great power, but undeveloped skill. Experience was all he lacked to tame his ability. Returning his thoughts to Friend or Foe matters, Bardock suspected that Brim had some kind of ulterior motive. Based on the looks he had seen in the cabin previously, Brim was the sort to have such. Perhaps he was manipulating them all into retrieving something invaluable, or unlocking a precious secret. Whatever it was, Brim didn?t just want them for entertainment (although it was a nice bonus), there was something else. It didn?t matter at the moment, but Bar didn?t like being used as someone else?s dog.
?Bring me the medal.?
The feminine voice seemed to come from nowhere. Bardock was surprised. He had followed his fellows so mechanically that he wasn?t even aware of his surroundings. Being lost in thought like that might present a weakness. He would need to guard against that in the future.
Before he knew it, their first task had been assigned. Find a medal. Prince Vegeta ordered the search, confirming what it is they were meant to do.
?What the hell,? he muttered to himself?his first and only words yet.
OOC: A little late, but there's number one. I'll let someone else roll with the event first.

This was insane. How could someone be so powerful that they could simply remove him from the incredible battle he was having down in hell. After nearly killing Yamu, having him returned to earth, and then being removed from Hell himself. He was getting a little pissed off with all these sudden teleportations that he had no part in. He checked to make sure his teleportation device was still activated. Yeah, it was... but could he risk using it and being sent back to hell? Of course he could, he really didn't mind hell all too much, there were a lot of creatures down there to fight, though none were really giving him that great of a battle.
He watched as Yamu and the small creature conversed about the figure that stood in front of them, and where this ?medal? was. Yamu was still a mystery to him, and he hoped, maybe by the end of this little game, he'd be able to answer some of the questions that flew through his artificial mind. Though, right now, he wouldn't let it trouble him. He watched as Yamu's head began to turn in his direction, and Koola quickly changed his gaze, searching for other people more worth his time.
He could tell that a lot of people were looking at him strangely. Many didn't seem to trust him, and that was fine with him; he wasn't in this thing to make friends. Hell, he wasn't in this thing for anything... he was only here because he had to be, and why not find out just what this all is about? If this 'Brim' character was as amazing as he had made himself out to be so far, maybe in the end they'd be able to meet him in battle... the idea was pretty interesting to MK.
His eyes next saw Vegeta. He hadn't seen that saiya-jin in quite some time. He was one of the few saiya-jins that didn't completely piss him off, as their attitudes were often very similar. They had had their differences in the past, but nothing was ever taken to personal. In fact, Vegeta's previous speech had made him chuckle a bit. Yeah, there was power in this group; mainly because of the two of them. Should there ever be a reason for battle, which he was almost positive there would, Vegeta and him would be able to take on anyone.
The next figure that caught his eye was the cloaked woman who would not give anyone a straight answer. He had to get some information out of her if he ever hoped to figure out what was going on. Finding this ?medal? would be impossible in the marketplace; the place was rather large. He made a quick circle, taking in the surroundings, and the people that stood around him. Everyone looked completely dumb-founded. No one knew what was going on, and a few looked around, seemingly trying to find this object of great interest. He had enough; it was time to take action.
?What, pray tell, is this medal you speak of?? Metal Koola asked the cloak, which he could only assume surrounded a female of whatever race may have once inhabited this area. He tried to sense her ki, but nothing came back. She was either amazing at suppressing it, or she simply wasn't real... and he wasn't sure which one to believe.
?Bring me the medal.? Was her only response. She seemed to be stuck on an infinite loop, as if she was simply a robot programmed to repeat the same statement over and over again; maybe just there as a clue.
?Would you, by any chance, have any idea where I might find the medal, so that I may bring it to you?? He tried to be as nice as possible, as it was the only way he could see getting through this first ?test? they seemed to be faced with.
?Bring me the medal.? There wasn't even a hint of movement from the female, it stood there, seeming to gaze out into space, uninterested in anything the changeling prince had to say.
?I would be happy to, though it would be nice to have an idea of where to find it!? The changeling's voice was growing deeper, getting slightly angrier.
?Bring me the medal.? again, a monotone response that seemed to echo through the air.
?You can't be serious... are you serious!? I would find your fucking medal if you could tell me where to look!? The metal exoskeleton was beginning to heat up. He was getting more annoyed than anything else. He felt like a cartoon character about to blow steam out his top.
?Bring me the medal.? The voice seemed to mock him, though it was of course only his imagination.
?I've had enough of this. If you aren't going to help you're of no use to any one of us!? He opened his palm and aimed it towards the creature. Energy began to gather in his palm and a blinding light was forming that everyone could sense. The power was growing exponentially by the second.
?Koola, stop it!? an unknown voice shouted from the background. One of his teammates, but he didn't bother turning to match the voice with the person, he was too caught up in the moment.
?No, fuck that, this bitch is going to learn her lesson. She had her fucking chance!? At the end of his statement, he let the shot fire into the face of the annoyance, and waited to see the response. She simply seemed to fall over. That was it... was that really it?
After a few seconds, she picked herself back up, and stood in the same position she had been in when the crew had reached her. Metal Koola was baffled; she just acted as if nothing had even happened.
?Bring me the medal.? She said, again, completely unemotional.
?What the hell! Fine! I'll find your god damn medal, and when I do, I'll cram it down your fucking throat!? With that he shot off into the nearest store, hoping that he could find whatever the hell it was this thing was looking for.

EVENT
Yamu stood with Burter Jr, watching the others search around the marketplace. He had opted not to even try, rather just let them all work to find it. He imagined it would be somewhere obvious, and it would find them before they would find it.
"Let's go talk to the lady," BJ suggested. Yamu opened his mouth to stop the little guy, but he had already begun to move towards the cloaked figure.
Yamu stepped up behind him, holding his shoulder. The lady didn't move at all.
"Hiya," he said innocently, smiling big. Yamu sighed, knowing this was stu...
She looked down. "Burter?"
At the sound of her voice, everyone else in the group spun about to look. No one had the medal, but she had talked. Reacted. Everyone began to move in as Burter Jr looked up. "No, I'm Burter Junior," he introduced.
Her hand came out, but a spark emitted from her fingers. She was having difficuly moving, it appeared. Metal Koola had a thought to kick her for the frustration, but decided against it. "Give me the medal, Burter Junior," she said mechanically.
Yamu chuckled as everyone looked to them, as if accusing the two of holding a secret. "BJ doesn't have any med...wha?"
"You mean this?" The little reptile grabbed the small medallion that was hooked onto his armor. "My daddy gave me this."
"Give it to her, BJ," Reijin told him. He wasn't harsh, but he was firm enough to let the boy it wasn't a request.
The little reptile handed it over obediantly.
To everyone's surprise, the woman backed up without any problems now. She unhooked the cloak, and let it fall, revealing her body in fall. She had green skin, not unlike Brim's, and her only clothing were leaves and vines that tangled through her body and hair, just barely covering the nessecary areas of her almost nude figure. "My name is Katel Dezmon," she told them. "And if you want to kill Brim, I'm your girl."
Bebi didn't say anything, but he immediately liked her.
-----
The nine figures walked down the abanonded street in the town area. Corpses littered the sidewalks, as if they died where they stood. Katel chose a random house to enter for the time being. "We can relax here for a bit," she told them.
"Care to explain, now?" Vegeta asked impatiently.
She took a seat on a chair after throwing the corpse to the side without noticing. "My sister is Akira Dezmon...she's currently under a mind control device by Brim. I've spent the last half a year trying to find a cure for her. I was in Dante's Abyss...I recognize some of you from there. I found the cure, but Brim found me at the same time. I was then put in that cloak, and paralyzed. I fought through, as you could see, and managed to make it where you could see me."
"What about my medal?" BJ asked. He liked that thing.
"I gave it to your father when I last saw him," Katel told the boy. "And the namek Kami has one. Mine was destroyed, as Brim realized it gives me my powers of nature."
"You mentioned destroying Brim."
"I imagine he's watching and listening to us right now," she told the grey being, Bebi, who had spoken. "So I suggest playing his stupid game for now. He'll make a mistake. He always does."
"Well we've been all over the market. You were the only thing we found," Vegeta told her, leaning against the rotted wall.
"Not the only thing." She told them. Bebi decided to keep his own experience quiet. "I suggest resting for now. Look around the town and the market. I will help you find your next clue later." She looked up. "Just...avoid the town hall."
(Okay, just hang around, do some investigating if you want. Bebi, sorry to say your three rps are up so you'll have to sit aside for a short while. Roleplaying Katel is easy; she'd not really used to social situations so she's naive and guilliable. Besides that, she is pretty much to herself)

"Okay, the medal has to be in this marketplace somewhere. Let's find it and get this over with." Those were his Prince?s orders. Reijin shook his head at the compliance of Vejita. Even the most rebellious of them were working right along with how things should go. Reijin turned and began to give the area a casual glance, as did many of the others.
The marketplace looked like some primitive gathering area, with a large number of outdoor stores and wares surrounding them. Row upon row of booths and tents went down the street, with a set of buildings on each side. It seemed to be a single strip of land, stretching as far as Reijin?s eyes could see without the help of his LENS until. The buildings that decorated the side were of a variety of styles. Some of them were made of brick and had the smell of a blacksmith?s forge emanating from them, but when Reijin stepped inside of them, he found them to be empty of any form of fire or craftsmanship.
Other buildings were simple buildings made of wood and board. Inside of these buildings, Reijin had found lines upon lines of hallways, extending deep as he could see. Reijin in no way could see how the buildings managed to contain all of their depth on the inside, and yet seem so small from an outside point of view. He purposely investigated each building that he entered in exquisite detail, only to find nothing.
He left a building a bit disgruntled, and entered another building that seemed to be made of a rock and adobe formation. As soon as he walked into it, he found that the entire building was a single room with nothing more than a single bench inside of it. His fists tightened in agitation and he turned immediately around, exiting with the feeling that thousands upon thousands of people were enjoying this little game.
"Well...I came up with nothing..."
Reijin glanced down a few rows of tables and saw Olibu shrugging his shoulders at the rest of the group. He simply shrugged and continued weaving in and out between the rows and columns of tables in the center strip in between building entries. Olibu was spending a lot of time grumbling to himself, and it seemed that he was in the end doing nothing more than distracting himself from his true purpose here. Reijin continuously reminded himself that he had to keep himself level headed if he intended to discover the true purpose to this event.
A glint of light caught his interest, and he kneeled down, looking underneath a table. He reached his fingers around in the grass until he managed to feel something cold touching them. Withdrawing his clutched fingers, he opened his hand to reveal a large metallic locket. He flipped it open without thinking, and found a small picture inside. The picture was of a normal looking human couple, but to Reijin?s surprise he found nothing more than a splatter of blood staining the picture where the faces would have been. His eyes widened a bit, and he slowly closed the locket, staring at it in thought. Finally he arose, tossing it back down to the ground.
His mind had been working out the various events that transpired, and every other event that took place slowly strengthened his argument for his ever growing theory. He heard the sound of a struggle, and he looked down the strip to see Metal Koola yelling in anger at the hooded woman that was standing in the center of the marketplace doing nothing. Finally, the enraged changeling seemed to no longer be able to stand the woman?s lack of compliance, and held up his hand, glowing with a sheer radiance of unparalleled ki energy. Reijin nearly stopped him, but before he could, the impatient changeling fired the blast point blank at the figure?s head.
Reijin immediately burst into action, leaping into the air onto a table top and running, kicking over vases and pictures alike as he leapt from table to table to catch up to them. Shockingly, as soon as he made it to them, the woman simply lifted off of the ground and arose back into the same position that she had originally been maintaining, without a single moment of acknowledgement for the event that had transpired. Her monotonous voice filled the area with its ominous whisper once more. ?Bring me the medal.?
Disgusted, the metallic changeling threw his hands into the air. ?What the hell! Fine! I'll find your god damn medal, and when I do, I'll cram it down your fucking throat!? Leaving those words to float throughout all of their ears, he leapt into the sky and burst off into the nearest store, the adobe building. Reijin happened to know personally that he would be leaving that room red with humiliation, but the changeling stayed in the building for a decent amount of time, leaving the Saiyan without a word. Reijin approached the building once more, peering inside of it to find that it was now a long length of a hallway, with a staircase that seemed to head up to a second floor that Reijin knew did not exist. He shook his head and withdrew from the building, knowing that if things changed this erratically around them as that seemed to, then Metal Koola would not be able to be reached this way.
Walking into the bright light once more, he ran his fingers through his hair as he approached the group. ?Any sign of anything?? he asked to Vejita. Unfortunately, the Saiyan Lord simply shook his head and nodded his head towards Bebi.
?He seems to have some form of fascination with one of the buildings around here. He makes it sound like it holds some form of secret to it.?
Reijin simply shrugged. ?I went into a number of these places, and all of them were different every time that I entered them. I don?t think that they are meant to stay the same, that?s for sure.? Bebi wandered in close by the group again. Reijin looked down at the ground by their feet, and pointed. Curiously, the group of them leaned down to pick up the locket that had been thrown down earlier. Reijin popped open the locket, only to find that this time it held a simple set of initials within it. AD, and nothing more. Reijin had no idea what it was supposed to mean, but he had noticed increasingly that this place that they had been transported to was reminding him of the dream world that he had visited during Frost?s invasion of Earth when he was locked within his cell. Things seemed to be very erratic and unsystematic, when in truth they were very emblematic of reality. Knowing that he had everyone?s attention, he began to speak quietly, while they looked at the locket inquiringly. ?I?ve been thinking. Bebi made the suggestion earlier that there may be camera men around the area. I?m not sure exactly why he wanted to find one, and what he meant by infiltration, but I?m beginning to think that there are no cameras, per se, nor camera men.?
Vejita looked at him sharply as Bebi snorted. ?What do you mean?? he spoke, a bit louder than Reijin wished.
Reijin motioned to the ground again for the three of them and spoke quietly. ?Do you remember those capsules that we saw when we first were transported from my fight with Uub?? The two of them nodded at him. ?Ok, well, why would we be transported there, then crammed into a temporary holding cell with those capsules, like we saw, and then suddenly awaken to find ourselves all standing up next to each other in a cabin in the middle of nowhere? It just doesn?t make sense. I mean, that seems to be a bit too much of a round about method to me.?
Vejita shrugged his shoulders. ?I guess that sounds understandable, but what exactly are you getting at??
He chose his words carefully, trying to distinguish between a carefully orchestrated plan against them and a random theory. ?Remember all of that intricate wiring that we saw running along the walls from those pods we were contained in? With how unreliable this world seems to be acting, and backed with the fact that if we die he can somehow reconstruct our bodies as they were and replant us where we came from, and yet he also holds the power to kill us for real? The fact that we can find no cameras of any kind, and yet we know that everyone can see everything we do? Guys, I?m beginning to think that this entire thing takes place within our minds, as one way of putting it.?
Bebi said nothing, taking in the information, but Vejita gave a snort of air. ?That?s got to be the stupidest thing I?ve ever heard,? he exclaimed. ?If that was the case, then how can we deal with each other??
The raven haired youth simply shrugged his own shoulders back at him. ?I?m not quite sure how he does it. Perhaps the wiring is implanted into our brains and transfers our own psyche into a world that exists solely within the computer system itself. Then to broadcast the show, he simply broadcasts the world that is rendered within our minds, the world that we?ve all been injected into.?
Beginning to at least listen to Reijin, Vejita still couldn?t quite agree with him on his rather farfetched theory. ?First off, quit trying to sound like you know what you are talking about when it comes to computers, because we both know that you are in no way a technological genius. Secondly, you are trying to tell me that we are really sealed in some form of stasis in those capsule pods that we saw, and this world has been made real for us??
Reijin shook his head, agreeing. ?Yes, actually. Its not that crazy of an idea. This entire thing is already a bit more advanced than we?d like. This also would allow him one hundred percent complete control over the world that we are competing in.?
"Burter?"
Reijin?s blood suddenly ran cold as he heard a crystalline female voice fill his ears. He stood quickly with the rest of his group and looked towards the source. Burter Jr had approached the cloaked figure at the center now, and apparently he had been trying to establish contact with her. Reijin?s brow furrowed as he noticed a similar look of disbelief upon Yamu?s face.
"No, I'm Burter Junior," he introduced. Everyone began to quickly relocate themselves to where Burter Jr was at, including Metal Koola, who seemed to have reappeared right on time to join in on the conversation with his previously uncooperative dance partner. The purplish reptilian child beamed with pride as he managed to get the female to do what no other person here could have done: react.
She began to attempt movement, but only succeeded in reaching a sparking hand out from her cloak. Finally, she relented, but pleaded to him. "Give me the medal, Burter Junior," she said mechanically.
On command, everyone shot Burter Junior and Yamu an accusing look. He chuckled nervously, looking around. "BJ doesn't have any med...wha?" No sooner had he begun his attempt to explain the situation than the child proceeded to ruin his words.
"You mean this?" He reached into his armor and pulled off a small circular object that noone had made notice of before. ?My daddy gave me this." He seemed a bit hesitant to hand a complete stranger something so important to him.
For everyone?s sake, Reijin decided to offer him the best encouragement he was going to be getting. "Give it to her, BJ,? he said simply. There was no threat behind his tone, but he was all candy and kisses either. He was being blunt in telling him what was going to happen, because Reijin was growing very tired of this Turkish hell that they had entered. The boy sighed and finally handed it to her. She swept it up, and then with a graceful step back, she reached up to unhook her cloak.
The crimson cloak caught a drift of wind and floated away from her body in a dramatic form that seemed to emanate from her very soul. She was a very beautiful creature, and Reijin found even himself staring at her in rapture. Captivating, she was a true work of art, with a skin color that reflected that of the very leaves and vines that were woven throughout her hair and body as a from of clothing. She had a very sleek and deadly figure, one that seemed to remind him of the Gaean warrior Kasumi, in both structure and style. He was curious as to whether there was any connection from the two, but only time would tell. Finally, she popped her stiff neck and looked them all solemnly in the eyes. "My name is Katel Dezmon," she told them. "And if you want to kill Brim, I'm your girl."
Reijin could have fallen in love with her at that moment. Looks, strength, and she even gets straight to the point? There was nothing more he could ask for. She gave them all a deep look, and motioned towards the direction of the setting sun. ?Town is over that way. Knowing Brim, I?m sure that you were given some form of map and a warning that it is deadly to you.? She smiled an almost sarcastic smile. ?That means we are going there for the time being. You are welcome to follow me. Anyone who doesn?t? Well, night on this marketplace has not proven to be a place thing for me, and I?d rather see how things fare in the own during those hours.?
Shortly after, the group arrived as a whole in the town square, striding with ease. They had chosen to walk rather than fly. Reijin had mentioned that with nightfall approaching that he might be a good idea to attempt to conserve energy. Looking around at the corpses that were standing against the various homes and signs in the area, he was appreciative at having made that call. From what he could tell, all of these people and creatures had simply died of what looked like natural causes at the same time while all standing up. Reijin could only allow his theory to be furthered even more by an event such as this. Katel motioned to a brick house nearby. "We can relax here for a bit," she said, striding towards it with a purpose.
As soon as they entered, Vejita turned and shut the door behind them. It slammed with a thunderous clap, causing a few of them to jump momentarily. Katel walked across the room to a large table that seemed to conveniently hold nine chairs and pulled out one chair, pushing the corpse that occupied it over to the ground. She then climbed into it while motioning at the rest of them. Not one to be left in the dark, Vejita voiced his concerns immediately. "Care to explain, now?"
She nodded grimly and spoke.
Burter Junior raised his hand a bit for attention and everyone looked at him. "What about my medal?" A simple question, from one such as he. Reijin?s head fell into his palms in a bit of disbelief as he thought about the situation in general. He continued to listen to what was going on, but he was also sorting things out in his own mind.
"I gave it to your father when I last saw him," Katel told the boy. "And the namek Kami has one. Mine was destroyed, as Brim realized it gives me my powers of nature."
"You mentioned destroying Brim." While not looking, Reijin still recognized the voice of Bebi. Reijin rubbed his eyes for a moment and then looked back at them, leaning back casually in his chair, feeling it gently knock up against a shelf that was behind him. Smiling, he allowed himself to lean back into a resting position.
"I imagine he's watching and listening to us right now," she answered him. "So I suggest playing his stupid game for now. He'll make a mistake. He always does."
That was always something fun to hear, Reijin thought. The enemy had a weakness. He was curious as to whether or not that question would ever come up in the minds of a real fighter. He rolled his eyes at the sheer obviousness of it. Vejita pushed his own chair back and arose, feeling that a chair was simply not of stature for one such as he. He strode across the room and looked outside one of the windows before turning and leaning against the wall itself in a manner similar to Reijin?s own.
"Well we've been all over the market. You were the only thing we found."
"Not the only thing." She responded, knowingly. Everyone seemed a bit curious as to what she meant by this, but Reijin?s mind immediately wandered to what the rest of the group might have been holding back from the others. If his guess was accurate, it was probably more of the same mind stabbing that he had encountered. "I suggest resting for now. Look around the town and the market. I will help you find your next clue later." She looked up. "Just...avoid the town hall."
Rest sounded like a good idea. On those words, Reijin stretched his arms over his head. A moment later, a loud crack was heard throughout the room, and one of the two legs the chair was resting on gave way. Reijin quickly reached about for something to hold onto before dropping backwards to the floor. He quickly made it back to his feet holding on to the chair leg in one hand. He looked around as the rest of the group was giving him a look, and he smiled a menacing smile as he slammed the chair leg into his other palm, as if it had all been planned.
?Well well? I guess that leaves us with no choice then. Anyone else up for a little visit to the town hall?? Reijin?s raspy yet cool voice asked the collection of fighters. Katel was giving him a look of? He wasn?t quite sure how to describe it. His smile broadened.

?Well well? I guess that leaves us with no choice then, anyone else up for a little visit to the town hall?? Reijin?s raspy yet cool voice asked the collection of fighters. Yamu gave his tournament opponent a side long glance, he was glad to see not everyone had been taken in by this strikingly beautiful woman. Sure, her skin was green but after traveling the planets it was odd what one could find attractive, plus the leaf clothing was pretty sexy.
Reijin?s little group of fighters leapt to their leader?s side as was the mysterious black browed fighter who seemed to just follow, as if the decision wasn?t there. Could the group be five and not four? Metal Koola cast a frosty gaze at Yamu as he smashed his fist into his palm, ?I could go for that?anything to get a fight in this little game?? Their eyes met, it wasn?t hate that the two shared, or even animosity, just the need to beat the other, the need to prove themselves against the man who had killed them once.
?Aren?t we going to go too, Yamu?? The pint sized brawler looked eager to go to where the action was bound to be. The beautifully bald Earthling took his gaze from boring into Metal Koola?s retreating back and brought them down on the sultry emerald vixen that remained at the table.
?No, Little Blue, I think the real action is in this room?? The vein covered once dead human said, no longer thinking of her looks. ?So, tell me everything you know?about Brim, Friend or Foe, your sister, this place. I want everything. Oh, and what is the rest of my ?team? about to run into? It is obvious you were supposed to drop the notion in our heads to go there.? BJ glanced back and forth, seeing what Yamu had meant to accomplish by staying.
The organically clothed woman shifted in her seat and dropped her gaze?
The day had turned to?well night somehow. The warriors realized they had never seen a sun, or shadows in this place, only light or dark. Twelve feet made soft noises in the ground has they headed towards the biggest building at the end of the Market square. Metal Koola did not like how quite it was, he disliked more not being able to kill Yamu again. He looked around, he just hoped before the ?game? was over the two of them could throw down once again. But something about this place, how the ground and his reflective skin seemed to glow in pale moonlight despite the complete absence of a moon. Or stars.
The large building drew closer and the metal coated changeling felt slightly ashamed at the relief brought about by being with other warriors. He knew they did not like him, but they would have his back, at least for the time being. The six began to climb that grandiose stone steps that led to the entrance when the ground began to shake ever so slightly, then again, harsher.
?Shit.? Didn?t matter who said it or who was thinking it. Something big was coming. Big.

Vegeta glanced out the window, listening to Katel?s story. He wasn?t too fond of alien women, no matter how beautiful she was. Even human women were evil in his eyes. Especially the one called Bulma. Damn her for everything she?s put him through. Vegeta quckly shrugged it off and spun around to hear the ending of her story. Yet he continued to hold an expression of disbelief, remembering what Reijin and Bebi had told him earlier. He took some time to think about it. Could this really be an illusion within our own minds? Could we still be in those capsules, just sleeping while those wires are plugged into us or something? Is that why we can?t die? It didn?t make any sense.
?Well well? I guess that leaves us with no choice then. Anyone else up for a little visit to the town hall?? Reijin?s raspy yet cool voice asked the collection of fighters. Vegeta heard this and remembered Kate?s warning. ?Just?avoid the town hall.? She has mentioned it a bit earlier. The prince wasn?t one to follow orders, he?s usually the one giving them. And if she warns them of this place, it?ll obviously end up being dangerous, and possibly lead to more clues to this puzzle. On the other hand, she might just be an enemy, setting us up. She knows that if she informs us to not intrude into the town hall, that we would go ahead and do it anyways. Fuck it.
?My sediments exactly.? Vegeta pushed himself off the wall that he was just leaning on. ?I don?t think you know who we are Katel, but we?re not your average fighters. We are elite warriors from throughout the galaxy, and who ever decides to fuck with us will pay with their lives. That includes you? Vegeta?s eyes thinned out as he threatened the female. She didn?t give much of a response besides a slight groan. ?Let?s head out for the town hall immediately.? Katel didn?t like this at all, but she didn?t give much of an argument, which just fed the fire to the prince?s thoughts of her being an enemy.
He stepped out of the cabin, noticing the sun definitely running away from his own incredible power, setting down slowly behind the horizon. ?Bah, this place stinks.? Was it a true smell he was sniffing, or was it just an electronic mind game that they programmed into his capsule as he slept. He knew that if he could smell, then he could obviously feel pain as well. But now he didn?t know whether to truly be at his full potential or not. Game or no game, he felt as if his life was still in danger at some point or another. The warriors trekked forward through the city, hearing the words of darkness from the women, warning them of the city during the night time. Yet they still embarked towards the town hall.
?So that?s it huh?? Bardock noted as one of the buildings down the street stood high above the rest. Possibly the large lettering on the front that read ?Town Hall? gave it away too.
?It?s just another dump.? Vegeta was detested by the dead bodies laying on the ground around him. ?I should just fucking destroy this place and make Brim come to us.? Yep, that sounded like a damned good plan. Reijin placed his hand on the prince?s shoulder as to calm him down.
?Let?s just go in shall we?? Reijin spoke cautiously to his Saiya-jin prince.
?This better be worth it.? He growled under his breath. Their footsteps seemed to echo off the cobblestone deck as they marched forward. The double door entrance magnifying with every step. ?Can I at least blast this door open?? He itched to blow something up. Bebi walked up to the door and turned the knob. It was unlocked, and the door slowly creaked open.
?It?s unlocked.? Bebi grinned at the prince, knowing he just ruined his fun.
?Bastard.? As the warriors stepped off, the ground began to rumble with hatred. The earth beneath them appeared to be angered, as if they had killed it?s first born child or something.
?What the fuck?? Vegeta cursed towards the ground. An earthquake on an asteroid? Was it even possible? The shaking slowly subsided and they all stood around staring at each other with looks of confusion.
?Whatever.? Metal Koola shook his head and gazed back towards the opened door way.
?Let?s do it.?

Death.
Rotting flesh.
There were hundreds of them. Bodies on top of bodies, bloodied and beaten, having been there for what seemed like years. Every rooms was stained with the stench of corpses.
He had already convinced himself the woman was a liar. Vegeta looked back at his companions. Five of them. Yamu and Burter Jr had stayed behind, probably for the best. Vegeta didn't think the little boy could handle a sight like this. He wouldn't admit it, but he was surprised he himself could handle it - this was about a hundred corpses too many.
"Let's just find whatever it is Katel doesn't want us to find," Vegeta told them, kicking aside a corpse. "And get out of this death trap."
From the corner of the room, a light transparent figure watched them. Nobody could see him, but he was very real.

?That bitch?? Yamu sighed as he exited the hauntingly rundown cabin.
?What did you say?? BJ asked not understanding the swear.
The normally solid human pit-fighter almost blushed, realizing he was around a kid, super powerful, but a child none the less. ?Nothing?the green girl in there refuses to give us directions??
?Why won?t she help us?? The na?ve boy asked curiously.
?I stopped paying attention?? Yamu said turning his head to look out across the hazy landscape, ?something about how we should stay together as a group, combined strength, blah blah blah. But as you pointed out earlier my astute little friend, I do not like it here either.?
?Where do we go then??
?Question of the hour, no?? Again he scanned the vast area spread out in front of the porch. He swore at Katel in his head again for not being more helpful. If she wanted to bring down Brim so much, why would she not give a guy some advice? Stubborn fool. Finally he broke the silence. ?There.? The bizarre looking human said simple pointing at a barely distinguishable spire in the distance, a black tooth biting into the dark blue sky that surrounded it.
?Why?? Came the childish inquiry.
?Why not? Seems to be a good look out, might be a watchtower of some kind. If nothing else we might get a good view of the other groups.?
?What if we run into Brim?or one of those men with the Friend or Foe logo on their chest?? The worried Burter offspring asked.
The shirtless human laughed and gave the miniscule azure warrior a good natured slap on the back, who?s force made the pint sized brawler take an unwelcome step forward, ?Then, your adventure starts.?
Burter Jr?s eyes lit up, realizing again that he WANTED to run into trouble. ?Think there will be someone to fight??
?Wouldn?t have been built if someone wasn?t watching something??
?Yamu?? The youngest of the Friend or Foe participants began softly, ?are you my friend??
The grizzled but warm caretaker looked down at his temporary ward with a warm unseen smile because BJ?s eyes were turned to ground in embarrassment at asking the emotional question. ?No.? The human said simply and his smile grew wider as the kid turned to look at him with a still obviously hurt expression on his lizard featured face. ?I am your comrade. We are more then friends, we are brothers in war. I see you as I would Bra, Uub, or your father. You are in a very special fraternity of fighters, walk with pride. You fight beside the best that would give their lives for yours and expect the same of you.? This was not fully true. The sun-tanned Earth-Jin actually saw the son of his friend like his own son but he could see how the speech had emboldened his young companion. Burter Jr. had a new square to his shoulders, a certain steel placed in his spine.
Yamu continued on this line seeing a very special opportunity to protect the fighter-child while making it seem like he was placing more responsibility on him. ?You know?since we are fighting together we will have to communicate and strategize without using words. We have to operate as a unit.?
The eager student took several steps to be right up next to his freakishly muscled sensei. ?Yes, yes?tell me what to do!?
?Ok, I like an eager student.? Yamu had never had a student before. ?Ok, we will start with some simple ones. The first is this:? The freakishly veined man took his left hand and brushed his right shoulder off extending all his fingers. ?If you see that it means lay low and wait for a clear opening to hit who ever is there.?
?Lay low!? The young one wailed.
?Exactly, we are going to use one of our rules to our advantage. ?Never underestimate your opponent. They will see your size and think you are weak, and then at the perfect moment you swoop in for the kill?and the glory.? Yamu tacked on the last words hurriedly to make it seem more glamorous. He knew for a fact your first kill never was. His mind wanted to reminisce back to the slave fighting pits, but he refused, he stared into the ruby red eyes of Burter Jr. to keep himself in the present.
The sapphire colored son of Burter nodded, seemingly pleased to be the reason for a rule. ?What else?? He asked quickly, excited to be let in on ?secrets of the trade?.
Yamu had to think for a moment. He really only intended that one to keep the little guy safe if shit really did roll down hill. Luckily, he could think fast. ?Coordinated Assault. It may come that I will put someone off guard and I will need you on a hair trigger ready to strike. If I do this?? The beautifully bald Son of Adam ran a hand from his forehead over his bare scalp to the top of his neck. ?If you see me do that, it means give who ever I?m talking to the best you got RIGHT then.?
The scaly blue pupil nodded with enthusiasm. ?Anything else? Anything else??
Yamu smiled?he really did like the kid. It was weird?he was more worried about BJ?s life then his own. He had never felt about anyone that way since, since Gabi. BJ?s once Ruby Red eyes suddenly became Blood Red, and the sins of Yamu?s past washed over him in vivid color. HE suddenly felt very guilty for dragging the boy into battle. He had been forced to fight as a child?he did not wish that on any other soul ever. The pain, the regret, the blood, the sight of Gabi falling, his decent into Hell had made the terrible images come back stronger then ever. The internally strife filled human knew soon he would be forced to confront them. But not yet?every day he could keep them back was a good day. Yamu turned away?no longer able to look the boy in the eyes. ?No?you know the important ones. These are only to surprise our enemies usually I will be able to shout and give you an order. Just be sure to listen carefully if it gets rough, ok??
The son of Burter stood perfectly strait, almost as if he was about to salute. ?I will make you proud Yamu!?
?You already have, Little Blue. What do you say we blow this joint and have ourselves some fun while they keep doing their little scavenge hunt??
?Yeah!?
With an explosion of a black and a blue aura two indistinguishable blurs streaked across the darkened sky and off into the unknown.
Yamu thought bitterly, ?I?m not going to let him end up like me??

Disgusted with the task that they had been assigned, by a complete stranger no less, Bardock meandered effortlessly, staying near his prince. Finding some ridiculous medal could not possibly aid him, so what was the point in expending any energy on it? Reijin, Vegeta, and Bebi all sidled close together and spoke in hushed tones, trying to appear nonchalant in what was obviously something not meant to be heard by the FoF administrators. Bebi's words only confirmed Bar's suspicion of his underlying nature. They had not been in the game for a day and he was already plotting some sort of coup. Reijin's words, however, were somewhat more interesting. He quickly theorized through clever deduction that perhaps they weren't really present on this asteroid at all. Their psyches had been transplanted to an artificial reality while their bodies remained "safe" inside the capsules. His points were eloquently made and difficult to argue. Bardock glanced at the arm that Sharpe had cut the bandages away from. Taking a dirty finger nail, he sliced open a scabbed wound. Warm, sticky blood oozed from the plated surface, accompanied by a slight sting of pain. He felt it. But couldn't that be simulated? Couldn't he be made to feel as his body normally would, his brain synapses manually triggered by some advanced machinery or nanotechnology? Truthfully, this potential revelation held no real poignancy for Bardock. What did it matter if they were real or not? Brim's scheme and the stakes were real enough, and that was all that mattered to him. Kao was all that mattered right now, and whatever it took to get to him and savagely beat the shit out of him before ending his wretched life.
"No, I'm Burter Junior," a child's voice hissed.
The sound activated Bardock's reflexes, and he turned to face the source of the voice, partly because it was in conjunction with a female's, and partly because he recognized it as the kid's.
Their present circumstances were further twisted by the appearance of Katel Dezmon, sister of the ice lady present in the beginning of the game. No man present could deny her sultry image dancing in their heads with swirling thoughts of desire, and Bardock was no exception. Throughout his experience, however, he had managed to perfect a complete stoicism. His face remained as it always was. He was not going to be distracted by the likes of a woman. Perhaps, however, she could be useful to him. She knew how to get to Brim, and through Brim, Bardock could get to Kao. His vengeance was momentarily thrust aside when their destination and objective quickly changed.
Yamu and Burter Junior decidedly remained behind when the group was to traverse to town hall, a place of supposed danger. Bardock followed the others, not making himself any significant presence. To lie in wait until any opportunity presented itself was his strategy.
With Vegeta and Reijin directing the pack, they quickly arrived at their destination. A foul stench of death invaded their nostrils. Bodies littered the floor of the inside. Some kind of massacre? The sight itself was truly macabre, a vision even a seasoned warrior would have trouble dispelling.
Two powers quickly faded from his senses. Bardock mentally cursed himself. The kid was gone. He'd failed before he even started.
"Well, let's be finished with this shit," he grumbled, annoyed.

Metal Koola felt a bit strange. As if someone was watching them, but who, he couldn't tell. Searching the room for cameras, he couldn't find a single one. Was Brim capable of keeping an eye on them even without such devices? He must, if he was as powerful as he claimed to be... but that wasn't the only thing he felt. There was something else here, just watching, and he could tell it would only be a short while before the creature exposed itself, confronting the team.
There was a distinct aroma that filled the room One that most were familiar with, but none liked nearly as much as MK. He seemed to thrive on the odor. It was magical to him... enchanted. The longer he was in the room, the better he felt, the more powerful. It was the smell of death that gave him strength. It was probably his changeling parts of his bionic body reacting to the smell, but he couldn't be certain. All he knew was that he liked what he was smelling, and he liked the feeling it gave him.
Looking around the room, he was amazed by what he saw: Blood everywhere! There was not a wall that wasn't covered in blood, in all the halls and rooms of the large building, it seemed like someone had taken the time to spray-paint every wall with a touch of blood. It was almost decorative, hell, maybe to some sick twisted soul this was a form of decoration.
He approached one of the bodies and examined it. It had been decapitated rather brutally, obvious from the tear marks around the neck. Whoever had done this had seemed to take great pleasure in the torture of these poor fools, and the more he saw, the more Metal Koola enjoyed this beings handiwork. Blood had spilled out of the neck of the corpse and pooled on the floor. This was only one of the many bodies killed in a similar fashion.
?Well, whatever did this, I certainly do like it's style.? The changeling announced to his current comrades. A smirk grew on the face of a few of them, the others just seemed to be disgusted by the sight. ?Ha, I'm heading down this hallway, see what it is leaf-lady doesn't want us to find.? He amused himself with his little joke about the woman's garb, not really caring who else found it amusing.
The hallway was littered with various body parts, but it seemed as if, unlike the main room, there was not a complete body to be found. It was as if here there were the remains of the bodies that the killer did not find useful. He looked up, and sure enough, leaning against the railing to the hallway upstairs were various torsos, all limbs removed, and one was still dripping blood. Was this a fresh kill? Could whatever did this still be lurking in a hallway somewhere? Metal Koola hoped this was true, and pressed onwards.

Metal Koola walked off, down a new hallway, stepping over what ever dead body happened to be littering the hallway. Meanwhile, Reijin had seen something new; something that could interest him. A door, pried shut, standing in the middle of the back wall of the lobby. It had a light on inside, as could seen through the cracks. "No lights are on in this building," he announced, "Except in that room."
The five in the room looked over. Reijin had been right. "Good call," Vegeta complimented, moving forward. He stepped up the stairs leading to this mysterious door, reaching out for it...
"No! Don't!" A female voice, shrill with fright, had come into range. Metal Koola popped back in when he heard her, though Vegeta ignored her. "I'm telling you, it's a bad idea!"
"Heh, what do you know?" Vegeta recognized Katel's voice, but he hardly cared. He wasn't about to take orders from a woman...a non-saiyan woman especially. He grasped the doorknob, though it was locked. What ever was a saiyan to do? Just as he went to kick it down, something wrapped around his leg. He looked down; a thorny green vine had taken hold of him. Another one sprung out of the ground, breaking the floorboards, and grabbed hold of his upper arm.
When he turned around, he saw a sight he'd never imagine. Katel couldn't fly, so she made do by using the leaves around her wrist and hand to give her leverage, as if she was running on air thanks to the leaves acting as steps. Vegeta could feel another vine wrap around his waist, snugly strapping itself in. "I don't want to hurt you!" She yelled at him.
The other comrades had all prepared to back Vegeta up (or Katel, though no one could really tell who was with who). Vegeta, in anger, easily ripped the vines apart, then catching Katel as she pounced on him. He lifted her up, squeezing her smooth throat, obviously ready to just let her life pass on.
She had other plans, however, kicking him where a man normally shouldn't be kicked. No matter how the strong the man, they always fell to that shot. He rolled down the stairs, clutching the pained limb. Reijin and Bardock had stepped forward, mainly because a the saiyan prince had just been hurt by a human. "You little wench!" Vegeta angrily fired an agressive ball of ki that had been formed by his rage, lauched it like a catapult at Katel. He hit her dead on, smacking her back and through the door she had tried so hard to keep shut.
A moment or two passed. The glowing white man could suddenly be seen at the entrance to the Town Hall, like a ghost suddenly blinking in existance. "That was a bad idea." He warned them. They turned around, surprised, a gasp emitting from most. "Now not even I can protect you."
Before any of them could question this new ghostly figure, Katel had been kicked back into the corpse-infested lobby. She rolled painfully onto the ground. A new figure, like something that had been created right out of Hell, appeared. He wasn't big, only about the size of Bebi though perhaps bigger. However his face had been heavily mutilated, blood covered his body, and his crooked yellow teeth were rivaled only by the sharpness of his huge horns. He was, for lack of a better word, butt ugly.
"Rise!" His voice was deep and rugged, like a mountain man. "Minions of the dead!"
A hand clasped Bardock's leg. He looked down. They were awake.
(You thought the hospital scene was bad? Okay, this guy and stuff will be explained later, but right now, every single corpse in the town hall, the town, and the market is now alive and looking for some living food. You can fight, or leave the area all together, and any clues that might be here.)

Even a warrior as calloused as Bardock had to admit that the hand belonging to a corpse grasping his ankle was a little disturbing.
"Augh! Shit!" he yelped, lip curling at the sight of the grotesque body latching itself onto him. "Get--OFF!"
His brain instantly assumed battle mode. All senses tingled in anticipation of the release of energy. Powerful fingers curved, summoning a bolt of ki. With a look of contempt, Bardock unleashed the attack, severing the arm that bound him and burning the stump that was left. The stench it produced, combined with the reek of rotting flesh, was enough to make even the strongest gag reflexes think twice before holding back a stomachfull of vomit. Oddly, the hand remained transfixed to his limb. The saiyan shook his leg with a shudder, prying loose the decaying fingers that had sought to pull him down.
Several of the corpses hauled their carcasses up from the floor, bidden by the strange demonic figure that had conjured their tortured souls. Bardock's first thought was to ignite his fists, but couldn't abide the odor, and thought the better of it. Instead, he thrust his leathered knuckles into the face of a rising body. The brute was surprised that instead of shoving the head against the opposing shoulder, the jaw popped right off, letting his sliding hand scrape the roof of the zombie's oozing mouth. A strange black liquid combined with coagulated blood slimed against his arm as it followed through the punch. The feel of it made his skin crawl. Despite his wrenching stomach, Bar swung up with a second fist, connecting with where the chin was only moments ago, this time rolling the head off of the neck. A diseased spine slipped free from the throat, trailing behind the skull. Bardock couldn't suppress a shudder of horror. He had seen plenty of blood and carnage in his day, but nothing like this. Nothing like this.
Prince Vegeta, what have you done? his thoughts screamed.
The momentary distraction was enough for a swarm of corpses to surround and maul him. He didn't know how the others faired, but he didn't care. In this battle, it was all for one. The strong would survive, and the weak would be mowed down. Unnaturally strong fingers grasped his body as four of them clustered around his living flesh. Moans of disturbed suffering vocalized from their rotting throats. Something similar to saliva drooled from deteriorating lips. Milky white eyes relentlessly gazed straight into his soul. The saiyan couldn't lie: a wave of panic and fear emanated within his consciousness. What made him different from any victim was that he didn't succumb to this hysteria. Instead, he used it as a motivating weapon. Through the adrenaline these feelings produced, his veins were fed with a more potent form of strength. With a defiant scream, tendrils of ki burst from his body, sending pulses of heat and light and wind against his oppressors.
"Bastards! I'll kill you all!" he roared. Nothing would stop him from getting to Kao. Once his mind was completely fixated on something, he would trudge on until he succeeded or died trying. In the back of his mind, he now felt relieved that the kid hadn't come along. But this was why he was a terrible father: he put the heat of battle above almost all else, a lifestyle that had once again presented itself. He would find him again. Right now, his own preservation took precedence.
Willing the flames to his palms, he decided to overrided the previous choice to refrain from his Explosive Fists attack. Torrents of fire sprouted from his hands, a sudden presence of heat that startled the simplistic minds of his zombie foes.
"Get the fuck away from me!"
Normally, he wasn't as social in a fight, but even a command he uttered that went unheeded served to bolster his confidence. It told Bardock that he was still thinking, still breathing, still fighting. Still kicking some serious ass.
Wriggling his body, the flames of his hands managed to make contact with graying, peeling skin. The fire burst in a conflagrant combustion, searing the faces of the corpses and causing them to writhe in twisted torment. Mere seconds passed, and he reignited, feeling the energy from his vast reservoir slowly depleting.
"Come get some, freaks!" Bardock challenged, black locks swirling in a torrent of energy.
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed that Katel was also under seige. Beautiful and powerful, she was managing to hold her own, but the realization dawned on the saiyan warrior that if she fell, his connection to Kao was lost. He returned to see what was once a woman (he thought it might have been) rushing him, baring a mouth full of blackened and decrepit teeth. They were starting to get nasty. All around him, his comrades were putting on a dazzling display of combat. Bar grinned. He didn't want to be the only one not putting on a show. Why not show off the fruits of his life's labor?
He whirled around, bringing up a steeled boot in a spinning back kick. The heel connected with the zombie's face, smearing the blood that was plastered on its visage. After fending off the lone attacker, Bardock began to move his arms and legs in an intricate kata, allowing the crackling blaze about his fingers to paint a pattern of crimson and orange in the air. His motive was to become closer to Katel, so as to make sure she would not befall an ill fate. These zombies didn't seem particularly intelligent. Probably because their brains had all but eroded.
"Feed, minions! Feed!" the demon creature said in a frenzy, fueling the determination of his monsters.
Bardock bumped backs with Katel, feeling the smoothness of her voluptuous skin on his neck alone, as the rest of his body was clothed, but he was perceptive of the sensual warmth radiated by hers. Now was not the time.
"I don't care about Brim," Bardock grunted, blocking a well-aimed swipe of a zombie's clawed nails. "But I want Kao. I need you--"
Another was trying to grope his ankles again, but he simply stomped on the crawling body.
"--to get to him. So I can't--"
He slipped on a pool of slime and blood, but quickly regained his composure, thrusting his exploding fist into the gut of another dead thing.
"--let you die."
She didn't need his help if she was a match for Prince Vegeta. He didn't like the fact that she had attacked his prince, but her knowledge was too invaluable to hold a grievance.
He would kill Kao, and he would fulfill his resolve to Burter Junior, even if he wasn't needed. Grudgingly, the saiyan's limited senses had told him the human was more than capable of defending him for now, and the reptilian child was even stronger than he. That didn't matter. It was Bar's repent for failure.
But first, he had to deal with these damn zombies.

?Who the fuck do you think you are?? Metal Koola shouted at the new form making it's way into the lobby from the locked door. The figure just smiled, bearing it's disgusting teeth and letting out a guttural laugh that made many in the room queazy from smelling it's breath.
?I'm your worst nightmare!? It's voice echoed through the hall. It was surprisingly deep, and as it spoke, it pointed towards the metal warrior, summoning his zombie horde to attack the bionic changeling.
They struck from behind, grabbing his arms and legs before MK could even realize what was going on. The demon-like monstrosity jumped directly in front of him, ?And you... you're soon to join my undead minions!? The demon struck him in the chest, and he fell to the floor, allowing the zombies to attack the changeling's body as he made his way over to attack the various other warriors in the room.
The zombies weren't really able to do much to MK besides pound on him, as their teeth could not penetrate his exterior. He was lucky in this sense; there was no telling just what it would take for one of them to kill the average human if they were able to bite. Metal Koola spun out of his position and shot himself back out of the dog-pile, blasting the zombies that had been attacking him with a few well placed shots. They acted as if the shots had done nothing, and within moments, they were on him again. Beating on him with all their might, which luckily, wasn't much.
As each of the zombies approached him, he timed his punches and kicks towards their heads. Blood was flying in all directions, and Metal Koola was loving the visuals. Heads were rolling left and right. With a direct kick to one of the zombies heads, he knocked it clean off, and directly into one of the other undead assailants, knocking it over. This was getting to be too much though, the creatures would not stop coming; it seemed liked the fight was never going to end.

?No don?t!? A female voice came into range from behind the Saiya-jin prince. Vegeta immediately shrugged it off, not taking another second to heed the warning. ?I?m telling you, it?s a bad idea!?
"Heh, what do you know?" Vegeta recognized Katel's voice, but he hardly cared. He wasn't about to take orders from a woman...a non-saiyan woman especially. He grasped the doorknob, though it was locked. What ever was a saiyan to do? Just as he went to kick it down, something wrapped around his leg. He looked down; a thorny green vine had taken hold of him. Another one sprung out of the ground, breaking the floorboards, and grabbed hold of his upper arm. He glanced over it with an amused look.
?Trust me woman, I wouldn?t be the one getting hurt!? Vegeta, in anger, easily ripped the vines apart, then catching Katel as she pounced on him. He lifted her up, squeezing her smooth throat, obviously ready to just let her life pass on. But then it hit him, she pulled back her leg and flung a powerful kick straight into his groin. The attack was weakening, no matter how strong the warrior was, that was just something that should never be hit. His body fell backward and down a small flight of stairs while tightly grabbing a hold of his injured limb, as if it would really help any. His Saiya-jin allies stepped forward in shock at what just happened, cheap shot at their prince.
"You little wench!" Vegeta angrily fired an aggressive ball of ki that had been formed by his rage, launched it like a catapult at Katel. He hit her dead on, smacking her back and through the door she had tried so hard to keep shut. Only but a few moments passed when a voice could be heard from the entrance to the town hall. The warriors quickly spun around to see a ghost figure illuminated by a fog like substance.
?That was a bad idea. Now not even I can protect you.? Before anyone could question the transparent figure, a loud thud echoed from the broken into ?forbidden room?. Katel?s body was hurled back into the blood filled lobby. She painfully tumbled about a few times before finally coming to a complete stop. Her groans gave way to a horrible sight. A demon of some sort stepped into the opening in the wall. His gaze was one of death, horns sat upon his head and his face was covered in bloody gashes and tears. His teeth were a crooked yellow and the sheer stench he gave off could make the strongest of stomachs become uneasy. Vegeta was definitely in shock at how his body was still holding together. The mutilated beast was not much bigger than Bebi?s size, but there was something about him that brought a sense of fear within their hearts.
?Rise minions of the dead!? His voice was deep, like the bottomless pits of hell, yet he held some sort of authority level when he spoke. Suddenly Vegeta felt something move behind him, and his gaze quickly shifted around. The dead corpses that have been rotting for years on end, were now moving, most of them crawling towards the fighters that populated the town hall.
?What in the hell?? Vegeta cursed as a rotted hand grabbed tightly onto his ankle. It was almost a horrifying sight, like something from a scary movie, but this was much more real. The stench almost got worse as the dead bodies began to stand up, and walk with a limp in their step. The prince spun around his free leg and round house kicked the head right off of the body that was just holding onto his ankle. He detested the sight of these creatures, along with the awful smell. It was easily said that they were outnumbered. With the hundreds upon hundreds of mildewed bodies that littered the ground, each and every one of them began to enclose the fighters with a look of hunger.
His gaze transitioned over to Bardock who was already engaged in combat with these zombie beasts, along with Metal Koola who almost seemed to enjoy the bloody combat. His shiny metal was easily getting smothered in rotten blood and body parts. Yet he continued to tear each one of them apart, limb by limb. He felt two hands grab onto his shoulders, and he knew they were not to just calm him down. The nauseating smell gave away that the creature behind him was none other but another corpse. ?Fine then, I?ll play your game.? Vegeta spun his arm around and cought the two arms that tried to confine him underneath his own. It left the corpse open on the side, and Vegeta threw a forceful punch straight into his side, puncturing a large hole into it. The decayed ribs were easily broken and dark blood began oozing out of the wound. ?Disgusting.? Vegeta placed his hand upon his chest and fired a ki blast right through it. Blood and body parts were flying everywhere, as if it were some kind of mind twisted parade.
The prince grunted as with every corpse he took out, two more would show up. They were easily taken out, but it was starting to become quite the nuisance. He jumped up and spun around, snapping the neck of a beast into two pieces. It?s head seemed to dangle there as it continued to try and reach it?s prey. A quite disturbing image for someone to see, no matter what the situation was. He grabbed a hold of the beasts arms and kicked out it?s knees, the caps being ejected right out from the torn limbs. These creatures weren?t even screaming, they would just grunt and groan like they had no senses in them. Which was probably true, since their brains had probably maggots growing inside of them right now.
?There?s no end to them.? Vegeta hissed as he threw another ki ball into the head of a corpse right next to him. The explosion was small, but it did quick work incinerating the top half of the creature. He was careful not to make too big of an explosion, knowing that there were other fighters in the room besides himself that would probably not want to be trapped inside of a collapsing town hall. Vegeta cracked the neck of another beast, and followed up by tearing the head completely off spine included. He watched as the body fell limp to the ground, giving way for his eyes to catch the demon within the door way again. He scanned him carefully with his eyes; no doubt he was the leader. Perhaps if Vegeta could take him out, the dead bodies would become, well dead again. He began to charge forward towards the head honcho, taking out any dead creatures that stood in his way, which sounds kind of contradicting, but true none the less.
Vegeta jumped forward and threw his fist towards the horned beast, but it was easily caught with one hand. His yellow stained teeth shown clearly as he grinned with evil intent. The prince threw his other fist forward but was stopped as well. The beast began to laugh a horrifying cheer, definitely one that would give children nightmares while they slept at night.
?You?re a fool!? The deep voice noted, still giving out an insidious laughter.
?And you? are one ugly mother fucker!? Vegeta jumped up and threw his knee straight into the demon?s jaw, knocking his head back and causing him to let go of both of his fists. As soon as the Saiya-jins feet retouched the ground, he dashed forward, slamming his clenched fist hard into it?s rotting gut. The beast groaned with pain but seemed like it was nothing more than child?s play. It counter attacked, grabbing a hold of Vegeta?s head with his right hand, and repeatedly slammed his left fist into the prince?s face. Blood splattered out from both his nose and mouth, fresh blood not like the kind covering his enemy. The prince cursed and grabbed the wrist of it?s right hand. He could tell that this creature wasn?t just another rotting corpse, he was strong, very strong. Vegeta pulled down on his wrist, causing the beast to lower his head slightly. He followed through with an upper elbow strike to his opponent?s jaw and the beast stumbled backward. Blood could be seen trickling down the side of his mouth.
?You?re fucked.? Vegeta pursued as he slowly maneuvered into his fighting stance.

END OF ROUND
Reijin was covered in blood. Had you seen him on the streets, you would have thought him dying, but this wasn't his blood. The saiyan had been through Hell and back, fighting corpse after corpse. As each punch was sliced through a body, blood was left on his clothing.
Vegeta had the hardest time. While everyone had no trouble fending off corpses, the saiyan prince settled no less for the most difficult enemy in the vicinity. He was also the one who was losing some of his own blood, finding the slow giant a lot more powerful then he imaged. Though the horned demon was slow, his punchs had a devastating effect on Vegeta.
Bardock followed Katel when she ran off, away from him. He was going to be damned if he let her get away. His eyes kept on her smooth body as she charged for the exit. "Come back here!" He demanded.
"Follow me!" She called after the saiyan, kicking her way through the exit. She lept into the air, floating on a cloud of leaves that had reacted from her arms and legs. Bardock cursed and jumped after her. He hated abandoning his prince, but desperate times, desperate measures.
Meanwhile, back in the town hall, the glowing figure had once again appeared. Many corpses stopped fighting, looking up at this spectacle. A human male, no older then thirty, floating his ghostly figure up to the ceiling. His voice echoed, like he was blessed by some higher being. "I will help you."
A flash of light ensued.
