The Hidden Village

Kiro?s legs began to tire, as he walked ever onward through the large forest. Yokomon was peering happily out of Kiro?s backpack, watching as trees passed her by.

?Where exactly are we going?? Kiro asked his small companion.

?Wherever we want!? squeaked Yokomon excitedly. ?We can have adventures anywhere and everywhere!?

Yokomon?s green eyes glistened excitedly as she rested silently in her master?s backpack. Kiro smiled contentedly, and the two continued onwards.

After walking for what seemed like hours, Kiro and Yokomon finally came to an area where trees became less common. The farther Kiro walked, the smaller an amount of trees there were.

?Look! Kiro!? Yokomon pointed her flowered head towards a large metal wall, which appeared to be blocking off a small community.

Kiro?s face lit up excitedly, and he ran forwards, towards the digi-village. When Kiro and Yokomon reached the metal wall, they began to search it for some kind of door. Eventually, the two found a door after they rounded the corner of the wall. The metal barricade apparently blocked off the community in a square shape.

?Hey! Let us in!? yelled Kiro, knocking metal door.

?Who?s there?? came a raspy voice.

?My name?s Kiro. I?m a human,? began Kiro.

Kiro?s explanation was cut short, as the door creaked upon. Facing him, was what looked like a small dinosaur in armor. It held an odd gun, and wore an army helmet.

?My name?s Commandramon,? spoke the digimon, extending its armored claw.

?I?m Kiro, and this is Yokomon,? spoke the jet haired teen, taking Commandramon?s claw and shaking it.

?Pleased to meet you, and welcome to our village,? said the creature.

Looking forth, Kiro saw small huts, apparently where the digimon of the village lived. Baby digimon and in-training digimon ran about freely, and there were a good number of rookie digimon as well. Kiro smiled and walked forth, into the digi-village.

OOC: Commandramon

Kiro was sitting in an oddly comfortable grass and leaf chair, made by the digimon whose home he was in. A kindly digimon, by the name of Agumon had offered to let Kiro and Yokomon stay at his home for the night.

?So why do you all live here in this hidden village?? Kiro asked Agumon.

?You see, there are many digimon out there in the forest that could tear us to shreds. This wall is for protection, though it does not keep out some of the more powerful digimon who attack us,? explained Agumon. ?Digimon that can fly pose a real threat, as do digimon that can simply jump over the wall.?

?Wow,? uttered Kiro.

?That sucks,? piped up Yokomon.

Both Kiro and Agumon turned to look at Yokomon.

?It really does,? agreed Agumon.

With that, the orange dinosaur digimon wandered off out of his hut, leaving Kiro and Yokomon to do as they wished.

?Wanna go outside?? Kiro asked Yokomon.

?Sure,? chimed the flower-headed digimon.

Kiro set off at a slow walk outside of the hut, so that Yokomon could keep up. The two walked past numerous huts, seeing all kinds of digimon. Most were in-trainings, or rookies.

?Everyone! In the huts!? screamed a digimon, running through the streets.

It was the Commandramon from the gate before.

?Monochromon is here!? he continued.

Kiro was completely startled as all Hell broke loose. Digimon began screaming and scrambling for their huts. Kiro scooped up Yokomon and ran after Commandramon.

?Where are you going?? Kiro asked the dinosaur digimon.

?I?m going to defend the gate,? replied Commandramon.

?We?re coming to,? Kiro stated.

Commandramon stopped for a second to look at Kiro, then continued running. Kiro followed. Kiro and Yokomon followed Commandramon to a ladder, which they all then climbed. The ladder brought them to the top of the metal wall. From there, Commandramon leapt from the wall, all the way to the ground. Landing swiftly on his feet, the digimon lifted his gun. Kiro leapt from the wall and landed on his feet, but not nearly as swiftly.

?Damn,? cursed Kiro as his legs buckled from the impact.

Commandramon motioned for Kiro to be silent, so Kiro obeyed. Yokomon was still securely tucked within his arms. Commandramon slinked silently onwards, towards the corner of the wall, where he peaked around.

?He?s there alright,? whispered Commandramon. ?Now get ready??

Commandramon leered over the corner of the wall, aiming his gun at something around the corner. The dinosaur digimon?s finger was nervously grasping at the trigger of the gun.

?NOW!? he yelled.

With the pull of a trigger, Commandramon unleashed a lead barrage upon his target. With a roar, loud footsteps were heard thundering towards Kiro, Yokomon, and Commandramon.

?Get ready!? yelled Commandramon, leaping backwards and aiming his gun forward.

Kiro put Yokomon down, whose face was one of determination. The footsteps grew louder and louder, and a large creature appeared in Kiro?s vision.

?Holy Hell!? yelled out Kiro.

An enormous triceratops looking digimon was standing in front of the trio, pawing its foot into the ground, apparently ready to charge. Commandramon leapt from the ground and landed on the beast?s head, grasping the single horn on its nose.

?Attack it!? yelled Commandramon.

Yokomon scrunched up its face, looking very odd.

?Yokomon, what?s wrong?? asked Kiro.

OOC: Monochromon

Kiro stared forth at his partner, who was now feathery and pink. The jet haired teen pulled out his digivice, which said that Yokomon was now Biyomon.

?Umm?Help me!!!? yelled out Commandramon.

Kiro nodded to Biyomon, who nodded back.

?Spiral Twister!? yelled out Biyomon.

Biyomon opened up her beak, and a spiral of green energy shot out from inside. The spiral flew forward and hit Monochromon squarely on its nose. The beast let out a roar and swung its head, to that it flung Commandramon off. Commandramon landed on his feet beside Biyomon and Kiro, and aimed his machine gun at Monochromon.

?BWAHAHA!? boomed out Monochromon. ?You have no chance.?

The beast charged forward towards the trio, his head lowered.

?Biyomon, attack!? yelled Kiro.

Biyomon nodded, and streamed out another spiral twister. The twister hit Monochromon in his eye, causing the beast to stop his charge with a pained roar. Taking advantage of the situation, Commandramon began shooting wildly at the beast. Most of the bullets panged helplessly against their targets hard armor, but a few hit its tender flesh.

?I?ll be back,? boomed Monochromon shakily.

The large beast charged away, dripping blood from its multiple wound, and from its eye. Commandramon slung his gun behind his back and motioned for Kiro and Biyomon to enter the village once more. Once inside, Biyomon and Kiro were greeted by Agumon, who led them back towards the house.

?You were great!? yelled out Agumon. ?Now if you can get rid of him for good next time, you?d be heroes of this village.?

Kiro nodded to Biyomon, who smiled lovingly at him.
