[PS] Burter's Dojo
#1
While Burter will only come out to specific people, there are people here who will help you train and spar. If you wish to spar with other PCs, take it to the spar board and use the prefix [Dante]

Do NOT use Burter unless he shows up himself. Needless to say, I'll play Burter on his log-in name

Walking along the corridors, the hybrid was pleasently impressed that the area had taken an impressive redoing since his last partaking in the events in the planet below. Rotating his shoulders, he spotted an olden Japanese building entrance seen mostly on dojo's and the like.

Smirking, he made his way in to it, stepping inside, he looked around the area and spotted a few trainers stretching, and checking over equipment. He took common coutesy, and bowed before them, offering out his respect before he began to slowly move around and eye up some of the equipment. Hoping for some form of a challenge to come in. He needed a fight to get in to the swing of things back on here.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

?Uhh,? moaned the robot, wiping his eyes. He was thrown off the lack of sticky granules on his hands, the type that would usually accompany him after a long sleep. In their place was a bandage that covered a wound that stretched from his left temple down to the following eyebrow?the tape that kept it on proved to be irritating. After the beating that he had just endured, the hell fighter checked the rest of his face, to see if there were any other lasting effects.

The only other noticeables was that his right eye was still swollen, although the bulging had greatly diminished, allowing him proper eyesight. There was also a rough set of lips that even chap stick would not cure, but Seventeen doubted that he?d be doing some serious kissing.

The android slowly heaved off the bed, looking around his surroundings. His attention immediately diverted back to the clock. Beep it went, incessantly. The humanoid walked towards it, and picked up the miniature clock, looking about it?s components. He pressed one of the buttons on the top without looking?it was easy to find since it was fairly large considering the top?s surface area?and the machine turned off. Taking another step, he was surprised to find that his feet were working finely. The only other noticeable injury he had sustained other than to his face was that his shoulder was in pain, but that was it. This could easily be explained by the fact that he was part machinery, and his face did not have any artificial components save for the central processing unit, which was quite small, and the endings that met with it.

Now that his bodily shock was out of the way, his eyes began to survey the room. It had quite the appearance. It was fit to serve Cold Empire yet entertaining enough for the average saiyan. The hell fighter was more serious in his endeavours at this point as he walked out of the room. He looked at the oak door and noticed the ?8? that rested upon it silently. ?Eight infinitely,? he muttered to himself and smiled.

The hallway was carpeted with a bright red, much like when the queen walked towards a building?or Ozzy. There were no painting on the walls, which the hell fighter liked; he generally disliked interpretational art. Once he made a corner a set of stairs were waiting for him, and he silently walked down them, looking around him. There were many people walking about, but he didn?t recognize any of them.

To his right was a small sign which could be read ?Training Dojo.? This was one place that he could trust, as fighting was always there for him, and they generally knew the gist. He walked into the clich? white room, and looked about once more.

OOC: BJ? I'll give you candy. Hard candy.

A smile crossed over the face of the man behind the many television monitors. He looked through the cameras of the dojo, waiting to find someone - anyone - that he might recognized from his unforgettable past. After all, that was his whole motive of taking this job. To keep an eye over the people who once watched over him. The other trainers at his new home planet were happy to let him be the dojo headmaster.

A scaly hand drifted over a tan dial, which magnisized one of the views on the left television screen. Yes, it was definitely him. The same man who had once fought for the five-star dragonball with him. The man who he had died protecting.

Outside, Hellfighter Seventeen had put on some gloves to begin training with one of the sandbags, trying to get back into the groovy of healthy excersice. It was definetly something he needed after the hellacious events that had taken place over the last few days.

Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw him. He had teleported right in front of a wall, leaning back against it and resting his head backwards. His tall, blue body was clean, and his normally shredded and torn black pants were stitched expertly back together. His kind red eyes were brighten then they had ever been. The most notable thing, however, was his smile.

The android let one word, and only one, escape. "Burter."

And with the mission of allowing the cyborg the chance to rest easy in knowing his dear friend was alive finished, the tall muscular reptile teleported away.

?Defense damnit!? Yamu yelled for what seemed like the tenth time. ?You just signed up to be in a fight! How did you expect to survive, sleep with them all??

?You-BASTARD!? Hasky shrieked forcing her anger at the insensitive brute behind the punching bag.

POOMF!

The bag exploded from the force placed upon it, the femme fatale?s fist shot through the bag and connected with Yamu?s left pectoral sending a nice cloud of sand like material scattering through the dojo.

?Woo hoo hoo. Look what you just did, little girl.?

?Don?t call me that?? Hasky shot back as she rubbed her hand, trying to figure out how she had accomplished such a feat.

?I?m impressed?you?re going to get there soon enough??

?Get where??

?Up to my level.?

?Do I have to look as fugly as you when I do?? she asked overly sweetly, batting her eyelashes and the whole works.

?No?I?m special like that?Hellfighter?? The raven haired ?boy? passed through Yamu?s line of sight appearing as if in a daze. ?SEVEN-TEEN!? he called louder, just to get the same complete lack of recognition.

?Looks like he has seen a ghost?? Hasky chimed in.

The male shrugged his massive shoulders, ?We?ll see him in the game at least. Now, c?mon I don?t want you dying in there.?

?Dying?I thought??

Yamu smiled, ?Those collars don?t ?kill? exactly?but you?ll feel what killed you?trust me, it is usually not good.?

?You??

?Yeah?once so far in Friend or Foe Two?I?m hoping it doesn?t happen again. Now, punch through a bag without me having to call you a whore.?

?Son of a bitch??

The Namekian decided he'd had enough time to sit and reflect in the park, and that it was time to "get the kinks out" so to speak. He made his way slowly out of the park, watching the game of football roll through the grass and several other people jog around the lush grass. He took another look back at his resting spot, there was just something about a long tree standing atop a hill that spoke to him. He wasn't sure why, but it was comforting.

Going back into the lobby he headed back towards the dojo which he had spotted before. There were quite a few more people inside now, some of them sparring each other. He knew there was no point in having some all out spar with someone in here, and that all he would need to do it warm himself up.

He found a punching bag tucked away in the back which nobody was using. He pulled his robe up off over his head, folded it in half and set it on the ground nearby. His age showed, but his physique told another story. Live to be as old as him and see how good a person looks.

A quick shove got the punching bag rocking, and Kami began sending firm punches into the bag. He was far from unleashing his full fury, using his own raw strength and no ki enhanced attacks or anything more. The bag shook hard with left hook. Whoops It was a little harder than he wanted, he wasn't thinking about it. Nobody seemed to notice though.

He continued on, working in some combo attacks, speeding things up, but still never laying out his whole game plan infront of the bag. He sent a swift kick into the side of the bag, bending it in half around his leg. He let a cocky grin slip across his face and then went back to more simply punches. He did it on purpose, just to give a few people in the dojo a little motivation - or to intimidate them and send them home. Either way he would keep warming up in the corner until something more interesting comes to light.

Hasky was progressing but far too slowly for having a massive ?to the death? battle just around the corner. ?You just aren?t in tune with your own energies?you are only letting go when you get to mad to concentrate on keeping them down.?

?Hey?I thought that was what you are supposed to be teaching me. Seems more like YOUR fault and not the pupils?? she replied venomously.

Yamu sighed. ?Fine?I think I have an idea. Here?? The hulking human grabbed a strip of fabric. ?Tie this around my eyes.? He told her while handing her the black cloth.

?Yamu?we don?t have time for a pi?ata?? She replied in an amusing tone. The veiny warrior just glared until she relented. ?Ok ok?jeez lighten up??

?Now, try and hit me. Without my eyes I will still be able to...?

Hasky decided to not let the chance to smack the snide human pass and sent a wild round house punch on a collision course with his shiny head. Yamu felt her presence coming and brought up his hand like a snake bite to grab her by the wrist and twist her arm behind her back.

?OW!!! That really hurts you ass!?

?It is supposed to.? He relaxed his grip a little but kept her arm firmly planted in her back while he talked from behind her. ?I don?t need my eyes to see. Your energy was enough to give it away. Now?? Busy talking Yamu did not ?see? the heel come careening into his shin.

?FUCK!? Yamu shouted hopping back. Hasky spun with an almost flawless roundhouse kick she had picked up from watching the other fighters in the Dojo. Yamu was back on his feet and caught her at the calf and thigh and lifted her into the air.

?No?no?don?t be mad at me?? She almost wailed.

?Mad?far from it?I?m proud. Good thinking. But now, you will be blindfolded too.?

After a couple minutes they both stood facing each other blinded by black strips of cloth. ?Now, we will both move slowly at first. Feel me, and feel yourself. Don?t concentrate on your arms or body, just your energy, feel it flow and use it to block mine.?

The hairless human made a mental step towards the energy he felt in front of him and with minimal force brought in a right hook.

Hasky panicked?knowing if she did not find a way to move she would get smacked, and probably painfully. She felt something. Hasky could not explain it, it was like when she saw them fighting on Arlia, it was the same sensation but form a different stimulus. She ducked and shot her leg out hoping to trip her mentor.

She sensed him moving up?jumping? She rolled to the side and felt the presence over her and part of it getting closer, she punched towards it with an open hand and could feel her palm pushing away Yamu?s forearm. ?I?m doing this right?? she thought excitedly.

The pair made small circles in the private corner of the dojo moving with ever increasing speed with pulled punches and dodges as Hasky began to develop of crude style of evade and all out force.

Yamu smiled, pleased his student was starting to get in tune with her energy, maybe soon she could fly more then a few inches and form a ki ball that didn?t blow up in her face or?

Yamu paused and a familiar energy seemed to draw close. His skin crawled with recognition but it was also something he had never felt before. His feet planted in confusion, one hand continuing to attack and defend from Hasky with nonchalance and secondary chore to figuring out this?force.

A note forced itself into his hand as the energy seemed about to overwhelm him then slid away. Yamu tossed off his blindfold and looked into his hand, on a small piece of paper the words ?Watching you.? had been scribbled. The colossal Earthling looked in the direction the ki signature had gone to see a very familiar hulking azure reptile. ?Burter?? Yamu breathed in utter disbelief.

?HIYA!? Yamu did not even sense the backfist that Hasky planted into the back of his head and sent him crashing to the ground. ?Got YA!? The femme fatale screamed in excitement.

The white-maned android had left the bar rather quickly. It wasn't because he didn't wish to speak with the one known as Seventeen, or the one known as Trunks, but it was because he didn't have enough time. He never did. Something else always came up, and he always had to go deal with whatever that was.

This time, it was a result of the power signatures he was sensing here. There was one who Twenty was near positive was... Android 13. But he just couldn't believe it was. Thirteen had been missing for months, and the last time Twenty had seen him, he had been stripped of his powers, weak and frail, but still the same Thirteen regardless. This new energy was near identical, but it was so much more massive. Twenty could hardly believe it was real. Judging by the intensity of the echo of power he received from it, Thirteen was more than double his own power.

"Why is it that this Thirteen is always one step ahead of me? The first time I met him, he had already found a way to easily overshadow his humanoid host. The next time I saw him, he had done it completely, and unleashed a power similar to my own. But now, he's one step ahead of me again! What don't I understand?" Twenty thought furiously to himself. "Gero, what aren't you telling me? You made me, you know how to unleash more power!"

The android followed the signs into one of the chambers of the massive station known as "Burter's Dojo." The name rang a bell for the android, as his memory banks matched the name "Burter" with a blue reptilian warrior Gero had sparred in Heaven against and lost to. He wondered why this Burter was in charge of the Dojo, but didn't give it much more thought than that. All he knew, is that he needed to keep training. He had no idea what he was lacking to reach the level of power that Android 13 now apparently had, but training and becoming stronger and more efficient seemed the most likely course of action. He entered "Burter's Dojo."

It was rather busy in the dojo. A large number of energy signatures bombarded Twenty from all directions, although only a select few concerned him at all. Most were lower-echelon warriors, in a league that Gero had been in. But then there were those select few in the room that Twenty could sense were as powerful as him, and some even more so. And upon feeling this, his drive to grow more powerful built.

"Hello, do you need any assistance, Mr. 20?" a Syntex employee said cordially, approaching the android with a smile on his face.

"Yeah. I need some real practice against something fleshy. Care to stand right there and not move while I pummel you?" Twenty responded, sounding sarcastic, yet at the same time, sounding completely serious as well.

"Uh... I- well, I think someone over there looks like they need my help. I'm going to go help them now." the employee stuttered, his voice cracking in mid-sentence.

Twenty let a grin cross his face, as he chuckled silently to himself. As the man hurried frantically away, the android began to walk to one of the empty sparring mats in the corner of the room. However, the android was not going to seek out an opponent to fight, he already had one. Thanks to his experience in the Pendulum Room, he now had a rather helpful ability, one which had helped him to gain his freedom from Gero, and seal that body-stealer within his own mind. The ability to replicate his form.

Now standing calmly on one of the blue mats, the android dropped his arms stiffly to his side, and closed his eyes, focusing. He had to make sure that Gero didn't make a break for implanting himself in the other body, lest he would have to beat him back down once again. Making sure to put up several mental defenses, he then began to focus his energy about himself. His muscles began to expand and the contract as he prepared to undergo the replication. Then, with a flash of red light, his mind split apart, into two separate forms, each taking their own corporeal form. Two crimson-hued glowing entities wavered in the air for a moment, before solidifying and gaining their true appearance. Twenty now stared into the dark crimson eyes of his training partner: himself.

"Let's go." he muttered, allowing for a faint dark aura to rise around himself.

It was a strange feeling, yet envigorating at the same time. To fight against oneself, was both humbling and awe-inspiring. A black aura whipped up around his replication, mimicking the other Twenty exactly. They both narrowed their crimson eyes at the same moment, and then, without a moment's notice, they charged.

A tremendous "clang" rang through the dojo as the pair slammed into one another. Their forearms were trembling from the force of keeping themselves at bay. Both kicked away from each other at the same moment, skidding to a halt slightly farther away. In tandem once again, their right forearms flicked forward, and a crimson enegy blast erupted from their palms. The orbs screamed through the air, before connecting in midair and cancelling each other out.

Then their styles began to differentiate, as the more creative half of his mind clashed with the more analytical half. The creative duplicate quickly began front-flipping across the mat towards the analytical Twenty. As the inventive android neared the strategic one, two energy blasts solidified in his palms, and as he exited his aerial flip, he brought the blasts down upon him.

But before the smoke had even cleared, the other Twenty had exploded outward, gripping his duplication by the forehead, and slammed him down hard into the mat. He quickly leapt away as his replication attempted to deliver a sound kick to his abdomen.

Both were on their feet once more, and now, the testing phase was over. Both planted their feet upon the blue mats forcefully, and dropped their right arm perfectly vertical in front of themselves. They grasped their arms with their other hand, and began to forcibly inject ki energy into their arms. A coating of scarlet ki coalesced around their forearm. With a quick downward motion, a crimson ki blade extended out over their hands.

The sound of ki crackling soon echoed out from the pair of androids as their glowing ki blades clashed. They stared at each other's crimson eyes furiously, each trying to force the other down. But then the creative Twenty suddenly slammed his forehead into the analytical Twenty's chin. The android stumbled backwards from the blow, grasping his jaw with his other hand.

"That was a cheap shot." the strategic Twenty spat, as he popped his jaw back into place with a sickening pop.

"That's just mixing things up." the other Twenty chuckled, and then dropped back into a defensive stance as he saw the his opponent about to attack once more.

"Then so is this!" the android retorted, suddenly exploding forward with a bang.

The creative Twenty smirked, holding up his blade towards the rapidly oncoming android, preparing to block his blade thrust. But just as it looked as if their blades should have clashed, the ki blade passed straight through his, and then right through his body. Yet there was no pain, and no damage done whatsoever. In fact, Twenty seemed to dissipate completely. Yet in the illusion's stead, came Twenty once again, blade held out to strike. The creative Twenty put his blade up to block once more, but yet again, the strategic Twenty seemed to dissipate as soon as he made contact. And that's when, there was pain.

A glowing sanguine-hued ki blade was protruding from the creative Twenty's abdominal area, sending out sparks from where it had exited. The analytical Twenty stood in front of him, with a smug smirk on his face.

"Got you with the Tri-Break. If I could fool myself, then it's going to be even easier in the competition." the machination gloated as the creative Twenty squirmed.

"You think so?" the creative Twenty growled, and locked eyes with his opponent.

In a flash, Twenty's eyes turned from red to light blue, as the immense power of Gero's mind was called upon. The strategic seemed to freeze, and then his face went oddly slack, and he looked around the room with a bemused expression. And then down at his blade that was gutting the other Twenty.

"Whoa! Sorry, I didn't even realize I'd done that to you! Are you alr-" the strategic Twenty began to babble, quickly pulling his ki blade out of the now grinning creative side of Twenty, before he was rudely cut off.

A metallic fist caught him in squarely in the forehead, sending him bouncing away painfully. He finally slowed to a stop on the mat, and looked up with a dazed and confused look on his face. And then the effects of the Mind Break technique faded.

"And I got you with the Mind Break. I think this is going to be quite a tournament." the "out-of-the-box thinker" Twenty smiled, although clutching the aperature in his midsection gingerly.

"Yes, it will." the other Twenty replied calmly.

And then, in a flash of scarlet light, the two androids merged together once again, and a slightly beaten up Twenty stood alone in the middle of the sparring mat. He cracked his neck slightly, getting used to being back in one form again, and then proceeded to gaze around the room at some of the warriors who would be his competition. He was going to need all the information about his enemy as he could get.
