Panbuukin was browsing the contents of the shop, and found that it really did infact, have everything.
"OH MY GOD, YOU HAVE A SNES! You guy's really do have everything!" The counter clerk just stared blankly, as he had been doing since the shop had opened, like 12 hours ago. As 'Buukin went looking around the toy aisle, he came across something very intresting. It was a package of waterballoons. Grinning like a mad man, fatty picked up the bag and headed toward the counter clerk, to purchase the water balloons that he wanted very badly. "I'll purchase these!" Panbuukin slapped down the water balloons on the counter. The man didn't even gaze at the item, he just stared with a blank expression on his face. "That will be 12 zeni sir." spoke the clerk in monotone. The pudgy fellow pulled out his wallet from his back pocket, and then took his zeni out from deep in his wallet, and tossed the zeni he retrived from his wallet to the counter clerk. The counter clerk swiped the zeni from mid air instantly and placed it into the cash register. "Take your item and go, now." Panbuukin was happy to oblige, he quickly ran out of the store, with water balloons in hand, away from the quick, if not creepy counter clerk. Quote:Canera411: God is into anime.

Seventeen had just arrived at the meeting grounds for Dante's Abyss when he stumbled upon the large shopping complex. The machine-hybrid pushed open the large, glass doors, stepped passed the security devices and entered the massive structure. As far as he could see were rows and rows of shelves lined with a multitude of products that made even the humbly intelligent android feel like some kind of backwater heathen. Eying the archaic, almost warehouse-like design of the shopping complex's ceiling, the machine-hybrid started toward the products when he was intercepted by an alien of the most bizarre origins.
"Welcome t' de 'yntex 'opping Mar'!" The creature said, his strange and equally annoying accent making the words that spewed from his mouth almost completely incoherent. Seventeen sighed at the sad mockup: all these illegal aliens were taking all the jobs and weren't even bothering to learn his language. The android mouthed a curse word and advanced passed the greeter and his lines of ragtag, cheap shopping carts. The cyborg started down the first row of products and commenced to sigh and swear at the excessively high price tags that each item bore. Eventually, the machine-hybrid arrived at something that he could actually afford. The item was some type of miniscule apparatus that would allow him to breath in environments that were normally anaerobic. Plucking the rebreather from the rack, the android glanced over his shoulder at the exit of the shopping mart. Despite being able to easily shoplift the item, Seventeen merely chuckled and started toward the checkout line. After all, he couldn't let his adolescent urges get the best of him in what he should really consider a serious situation. Depositing the rebreather on the electronic check-out belt, the cyborg walked down to the cashier and yanked his satchel from its usual position on his waist. Ignoring the incoherent words of the clerk, Seventeen placed a handful of zeni coins in the alien's outstretched, eager palms and plucked his new purchase from its location at the terminus of the check-out belt. Placing the rebreather into his satchel the machine-hybrid hastily made his way toward the exit, breezing passed the greeter before he'd be inadvertently forced to communicate with it. OOC: Seventeen bought a rebreater, just because that saves me the trip to Frost =) I'll got post the CC thread now. ![]()

After the whole Lobby debacle, a fuming Blue found himself on a rather impromptu tour of the grounds as he attempted to walk off his teleportation sickness. Most places were barely given a second glance, until the red-haired psycho found himself in front of a shopping outlet. The sign in front said it had everything, something Roy doubted very much. That wasn?t what stopped him, though. What did was a little sign right beside it stating: Curious about what you might be up against? Purchase a scouter and find out!
Obviously, the ex-military man was curious, logic reasoning that the path to victory lay with the knowledge of your opponents. Stepping through the sliding door, Blue moved as if on a mission, stepping right up to the counter. A bland-faced man stared straight at him, as if wondering what to do. ?Uh, can I help you?? came the hesitant words in a whining voice that sent shivers up his customer?s spine. ?Yeah, get me one of those scouter-dealies,? Looking around, the clerk blinked in confusion. ?Who, me?? Growing angry, Blue snarled at the incompetent fool. ?Yes you! You work here right? You?re wearing the fucking nametag! Now get me what I want before I get really angry.? ?But I?m on break, sir,? replied the man, in the dullest voice the fighter had ever heard. ?I don?t give a flying fuck whether you?re on break, or just sitting there with your thumbs up your ass. If I don?t have that scouter sitting in front of me in ten seconds I?ll give you a real break!? Finally, the person responded, moving into the back-storage area. Much longer than ten-seconds, he returned with a small box. ?Here you go, sir.? Just as Conroy reached for his merchandise, the irritating worker spoke up. ?Might I interest you in some upgrades?? About to knock the idiot silly, Blue lowered his hand and thought about it. ?Fine. Whatcha got?? Sitting through the list of enhancements nearly pushed his temper over the edge, but the red-haired killer finally settled on what he wanted and paid for his product. As he left the shop, Roy added another name to his list of people to destroy once the tournament was finished.

OOC: Continued from here
A large, silver plated ship loomed in the distance, a stone path lined with vendors pocking along the way caught Violet?s attention. Assorted foods, drinks, materials, and such were on display for her widened eyes to feed from, until, just a few hundred meters from the ship itself, she stopped. Moving away from her party, she approached one stand, and hanging from a hook by a steel hanger was the most beautiful suit she had ever laid her eyes on. It was a one piece suit, leather, with silver buckles and loops and snaps decorating the length. The full sized sleeves would reach to her wrists, the lower portion accented with a row of seven or eight silver cuffs filing up to the elbow, where it branched off to silver chains snaking around the upper arm to hook into a metal holder on the shoulder. The chest portion was open in the center, laced up the center with a leather thong held in place with silver brackets, to match the sides of the pants, the same motif was used. Before the drool could seep from the corners of her mouth, Super Buu?s groaning cut through. ?Come on, fleshbag, let?s move!? ?Mama?wants?? She cooed to herself. Before she realized it, her hand snaked back to her pocket to pull out her wallet, and her fingers dug within its small pouch to fish out a wad of Zeni. ?So, you like it, huh?? A small woman, barely a few inches shorter than her, appeared, running her manicured fingers over the fabric of the suit. Her long, raven hair was pulled away from her face in a messy ponytail, eyes a vibrant green as they flicked from the suit to Violet. ?Of course. How much?? ?Ten thousand zeni.? Vi gasped. ?That is a bit much for a simple piece of clothing, isn?t it? This thing better have gold lining the inside for that freakin much.? The woman laughed, the sound a high, ringing sound, like church bells, and just as annoying. ?You are mistaken, Miss. This is no ordinary piece of clothing. This is Bio Armor. It raises your physical defenses dramatically, and if you should choose to wear it in the show, will definitely give you an advantage.? The human?s brow quirked in interest. ?Well, that settles it! Ten thousand, right?? ?Correct.? Violet counted out her wad of money and shoved it into the woman?s hand. After checking the amount, the woman stuffed the money into her deposit box and took the suit down, bagging it and handing it to the purple haired woman. ?Thank you, and please, come again!? ![]() Fuck you, Photobucket.

OOC: This is basically how Buu got the Bio Armour. It?s going to affect his appearance when he powers up, so it deserves an explanation
I?ll also be using this to pick up a Rebreather in the shop.Emerging from the bathroom and hitching up his parachute pants, Buu took in the scenery for the first real time. There were a few shops in the lounge, and he had nothing better to do than check them out. He might even run into someone he knew. Not surprisingly, the goods on display all seemed to revolve around fighting. Cloaks, armours, items that increased one?s battle prowess for a short time ? the pink monster felt like he was in a candy store. ?Hey! Fleshbag!? he motioned to a shop assistant as he pointed to their most impressive looking set of armour. ?How much?? ?Oh-er, the Gigantes Armour?? the ?assistant? said, stopping to ponder. In actuality the man looked more like a laboratory professor, his white coat and round spectacles giving him an aura of respectability. ?Hm, well. Just between you and me, it?s a very old model, and wouldn?t give much in the way of protection in a competition like this.? ?Really?? The pink warrior?s eyes widened. ?You must know your stuff. What would be good, then?? ?Well, there is an experimental model being made by Capsule Corporation ?? said the white-coated man, looking introspective. ?I must say, however, I am intrigued by your appearance. Would it bother you if I asked what planet you were from?? ?Not at all,? said Buu, happy to brag. ?I wasn?t actually born on a planet, I was made out of this stuff called ?puttalin?. It only comes from the planet Puttalin. That, a load of magic, and some DNA from various races ?? he trailed off. ?That?s basically what I am.? ?The planet Puttalin!?? The scientist gasped, and had to push his glasses back up on his nose. ?I thought that was just a legend?? ?Well, it is now,? stated the majin dryly. ?The guy that created me blew it up.? ?Oh, what a shame, what a shame ?? the man sighed. Buu yawned loudly, making clear his growing boredom. ?So, do you have any good armour?? ?Oh, of course. I think I have something for you.? The spectacled man gestured for his customer to follow. Leaving the main shop, they went on through to a back room. Several experimental suits seemed to be suspended in cases, attached to electrodes and wires. Buu gave a low growl, reminded of when he had been kept in such places. Apparently, however, the man didn?t notice. ?You said you were made of puttalin, correct? If that?s correct, you should be able to assimilate material into your body.? ?Right,? grunted Super Buu. Then, with an air of suspicion; ?you sure know a lot about me for someone who I just met.? ?I?ve been doing a lot of research into alien planets,? explained the scientist. ?Apparently there are other such creatures who can do the same thing ? absorption, I mean.? The pink monster raised a brow at this. ?I thought me and my brother were the only one.? ?You have a brother?? asked the man, incredulously. ?Well ? sorta-brother. We were created from the same sample, by the same guy. As far as I know we?re the only two of our kind in existence.? ?Astounding, you?ll have to introduce me some time!? said the white-coated human, wringing his hands in excitement. ?Back to the matter at hand.? ?Oh! Right.? The man gestured to a tube, where was seemed to be a living, breathing suit of armour hung from multiple wires. ?This is an experimental model, called Bio Armour. It works in harmony with the human body, amplifying both strength, speed and defence.? ?Wait, hang on,? interjected Buu. ?If it?s for humans, how am I supposed to wear it?? ?That?s why I was asking you before about your abilities. If my calculations are correct, then you should be able to absorb it. It makes sense. If you can absorb humans, aliens, and the like, why not?? ?Sweee-hee-hee-heet ...? the majin chuckled. ?How much?? ?Well, all in all it would be about 10,000 zeni.? ?Done,? said the gelatinous being. Reaching a hand into his stomach, he pulled out a giant wad of notes. ?This should be everything.? ?Amazing! You can actually store items in-? ?GIVE ME THE DAMN ARMOUR!? roared Buu, his patience snapping like a rubber band. ?V-very good,? said the scientist, taking the money with a nervous air. ?Uh, but there?s one last thing ?? ?What is it?? snapped the rubbery monster, exasperatedly. ?As it?s an absorption, your appearance may well change. You might get some human features. Sometimes, with the Bio Armour, it can cause ?mutations? in certain species when they transform. It?s no guarantee, since as you said you?re one of a kind.? ?It?s a risk I?ll have to take,? said Buu. ?Now gimme gimme gimme!? ?As you wish ?? Pressing a few buttons on the nearby console, the white-coated man looked up at the glass container. With a whirr and k-shh it opened, breaking the vacuum seal. ?Go ahead, try it on.? ?Gladly,? said the putty-like being. With that, he opened his mouth wide, and swallowed the suit whole. There was a moment of silence. Then the majin?s body began to change. He doubled over, gasping as his skin bubbled and hissed, the scientist backing off to watch with an air of apprehension. Buu felt his body harden, become more tough and resilient. He looked up, eyes wide, and the movement stopped. ?Well?? said the lab assistant. ?Did it work?? The pink monster laughed aloud. ?Oh, it worked alright!? He tensed his hands and flexed his muscles. ?Look at me! I?m stronger than ever!? Looking over to the scientist, he smiled. ?For a nerd you?re not so bad. What?s your name?? ?My name?? The man looked surprised. ?It?s Doctor Samuel Froidenburg.? ?Froidenburg,? repeated Buu. ?I?ll remember that name. Anyway, I?ve gotta go!? He zipped out of the lab, waving a hand. ?Seeya later!? Moving out of the entrance to the shop, the majin warrior laughed aloud, stretching his hands into the sky. With this new body, he was going to be unstoppable. ![]() Bra Wrote:People are dumb, essentially.

"Anyway..." thought Thirteen as he made his way from the group and found his way into a hallway. "I wish this place had a CC."
As if his prayers were answered, the droid turned around the corner and low and behold, a booth for Capsule Corp. Rushing up to the mini-store, Thirteen began to rummage around like a mad man, pulling and pushing past the other people. "FINALLY!" yelled the machine-hybrid. "I've been searching for these for ages!" Tearing a small device from the shelf and notincing a small bit of armor, Thirteen grabbed up the clothing and slammed them down on the counter. "Will this be it for you?" asked the cashier. "Damn straight." exclaimed the android, obviously trying to continue the proceedings, he wanted to try this armor out. "Let's see..." spoke the little man behind the counter. "Bug Skin Plate, that's 6,000 zeni and Air Shell Plating, that's an additional 6,000 zeni...totalling, 12,000 zeni. Debit or credit?" "Debit." laughed the droid as he ran his card through the small reader. The little green light flashed, the transaction was complete. Not waiting for the armor to be bagged, the droid tugged it off the counter and made his way back to the main hall...it was almost game time. OOC: BUG SKIN PLATE and AIR SHELL PLATING. |
