Swimming classes :-|

Those olympic people are still just a-kickin' their legs and a-flappin' their arms. When they get out of the pool they're not even tired.

Stop watching Micheal Phelps and Ian Thorpe. They've both got actual physical advantages over a normal human being which allows them to finish a race without getting tired. They also train far more than anyone else ever would normally, as they are likely in the pool anytime they can. I only average 2 and a half hours of swimming daily, usually, and I still die in races.

But yes, it still is a-kickin' and a-flappin'. Except it's got a method to it, so that you don't drown. XD

Swimming competitively.

Goosefat + the english channel.
Go on and do it.

Is it legal to do that? Just asking, because that sounds awesome. I love doing crazy open-water swims like that. I swam to Canada and back once (from the Missouri border). 'Twas cold. Very cold. I've got plenty other swimming stories along those lines, too. =P

21 miles? Heh, that's a fair bit of distance. Still, sounds good. When I finally get to travel to England, that's something I plan on doing.
