Road Trip??

Okay. I just got the craziest urge to go on a road trip, so I want to this summer. I know I'll need at least about..$500 for gas, $200 for other shit, then maybe some pocket change. Oh yeah and motel money. Then there's the car and the 'appropriate' attire. Besides that should I bring anything else?

I'm asking you guys, hoping someone has gone on a road trip and could help, lol.

You're going to need more money than that for gas, sweetie. Over here, the gas is a bit expensive, and its just going to get worse come summer. It'll be back up to over $3 a gallon. =\

I'd say it'd be a safe bet to take no less than $1k with you. The more, though, the better, plus about $200 in emergency money.

When I went to florida (On a spur of the moment type thing HAHA) Even though we ate like, one hamburger a day, stayed in the shittiest motels, and just basically drove all day looking for a new hotel, I had fun, but we had 3 people and $2k, gas is a bitch.

So yeah, no less than $1k, plus a couple hundred per person who goes with you. Pack light, you can always go to a laundromat to wash them. =)
