Dci

[Talys]

Anybody else know what DCI (Drum Corps International) is or follow it at all? Anyone else want to discuss the 08 lineup? Anyone curious or open to learning a bit about it? I'm trying out for a corps this off season and have been on a DCI rampage and feel like discussing it...

[Raditzu]

What corp you trying out for? And what instrument?

I used to follow it, but that was a bit ago. I still get a kick from watching a show every now and then. Old habit and all that.

Well, I play trumpet (Soprano more specifically) and will probably try out for the Blue Coats...mainly because the drive won't kill me and I'm pretty sure I could make it there...I'd love to do Blue Devils or Vanguard, but there in California...VK's been asking me to join them, too. The Cadets are pretty close to me too, but I haven't been into their latest stuff no matter how good they are.

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about:

Cavaliers, probably the top visual corps out there...figured it'd be a good video to catch interest. Ignore the beginning part...ESPN had to dress it up.
