Ki formula
#1
I don't think we're allowed to tell you, I know a few years back I had to get permission to use and even know the formula from Higgy.

Why do you need to know the original ki formula?

And the original wasn't created by Higgy, it was created by Owner of Zento.

I meant I got the info from Higgy for Assassins, also I was told it was ok to ask Higgy or VJ because they kinda carried on after the Zento Owner.

And I might have lied. It might have been Future Trunks from Zento that made the formula. I'm not 100% sure. Kinda moot, though.

Oh >.> my mistake, I know the one for Chubbs had been posted a while back. I don't think any explination on what was changed was given either so, yeah, a snowball fight in Hell.

Higgy and VJ didn't "take up after Zento". CDBZ was here first, but I do not know if Chris got permission from Owner and FT of Zento (Used to know both real names, but can't remember) to use it. I know the formula, along with a few others, but I don' tfeel that I have the right to give it out. It's kinda like having signed an NDA, Non-Disclosure Agreement. Its not mine to give out, in otherwords. And yeah, CDBZ has been tweaked, but I like our current formula better. Shiet, I don't even know the current formula anymore as much as Dave's tweaked it.

I think you should just think up your own, it isn't hard, my friends and I did it (never used it).

If you'd like, I can help you come up with one. It depends upon how complex you want it to be. I'll cook up one today at school, and PM it to you later.

Anything in particular you want with it?

You're using our ki formula at Evo?

=/

Are you sure its the current one that we're using now, or are you talking about an older version?

Ok, well, if you want something similar to the original formula, then here's how you'll do it.

The original had Str and Defense equal, with all the others just a bit weaker. Times them all by something.

Let's say you do this:

Str x 5
Def x 5
Speed x 4
Stamina x 4
Recovery x 4
Attack Power x 4

Then you take the final result of that, and create a base multiplier. For the sake of the example, let's go with x 200.

Ok, so let's say your starting starts are all 3.

Str 3 x 5 = 15
Def 3 x 5 = 15
Speed 3 x 4 = 12
Stamina 3 x 4 = 12
Recovery 3 x 4 = 12
Attack Power 3 x 4 = 12.

Add those up. You get 78. Then times by your base mutliplier, or that x 200 up there.

You get 15,600 as a Ki. Then you can raise and lower those values or which stats you want to be equal to show what stats will affect your Ki the most and to show just how much they do. Perhaps you'll want a lower base multiplier and a higher per stat multiplier. Perhaps you'll want the opposite. You may even want to have all the stats go at x 6 and the base be at x123, to get a net result of 13,284.

Anything like that.

I won't give you the original Ki formula, but I will give you an idea to work off of to build your own.

The Ki Formula was originally used in DBZento.

Then Chubbs got it. Then Assassins.

Assassins fell. Chubbs modded the formulae a little cause everyone got too strong.

The Ki Formulae is the basic core of the Zento/Chubbs system. It's not to be given out or spreaded further. Anyone who wants to create a new rpg should just think up something themselves. Its not that hard if you know elementary mathematics. Rolleyes
