Historical figures
#1
Here is a wild question....As you probably remember, the use of anime/manga/game/film etc. characters in RPs is stricly forbidden. However, I`m wondering...what about historical figures? Is it forbidden to use them as well?

I'm not sure, and I wouldn't really care. If anything, using a parody of 'em would be better, plus parodies rock out loud.

You mean depending if that figure has a "dark past"? At least I think that is what you are aiming at.

Does this mean historical as in Abe Lincoln or Charles Lindbergh or Chuck Norris? Or like...mythological figures as well like Greek/Roman/Norse gods or something?

Everyone's used metaphors to Greek/Roman mythology. I've used Michael Jackson, Oprah, Jeffrey Dahmer:

lolz, I lubbed it. Anywho, as long as its metaphors/parodies, no one really cares. When you start walking around with Rock Lee as an NPC, it gets lame.

I'm gonna say sure, just because I really don't care. If it's a cameo appareance, fine. But no, you can't have them for a duration of an entire quest/saga/whatever

Based on my current reading (end of FoFII) and the fact that Gabriel the archangel, Azrael, Satan, all them peeps are used, are we allowed to use mythological creatures/characters/beings in our personal sagas, like if I wanted to go sail the Styx and kick Cerberus in the faces and then donkeypunch Persephone?

The characters I used were fiction and not actually the people you are saying they are.

I made them up and gave them cool names. That's all.

The governing point of this whole thread is this: do whatever you want.

If its something we don't like, we'll glare a lot and get Waff to call you a noob fag.

You're saying Satan, the demon in your RP is entirely distinct from Satan, the devil in the Bible?

Sorry, Burter, but... that's a pretty weak argument.
