Derren-fucking-Brown. The man is a beast. I just finished watching 'An evening of wonders' on channel 4, and was completely enthralled throughout. I'm not sure if anyone outside the UK would have heard of him, he's basically a magician/hypnotist/mentalist/illusionist/comedian, he's got it all. If you're interested in that kind of stuff you should definately look up some of his stuff.

Ah, was that the live show just on? Yeah, Derren Brown is a mastermind. I have immense respect for him.

The only time I saw a Derren Brown sketch, he made some woman think she was dead. She was paralyzed in a standing position (hypnosis), looking at the wrecked car, which had a lady in a mask pretending to be a dead her. The ambulance crew was a fake, nobody was allowed to acknowledge her, it was horrible to watch.

What about that one where he makes that guy think he's in the video game with all the zombies. Or when he tells the girl that if she presses the button the kitten in the box will die, but manipulates her to do it anyway.
Psychological torture is his speciality.
I'm a very occasional and spotty TV watcher. This thing tonight was the first time I've watched Derren Brown in years -- but I did watch a few of his older things, and the ones I saw were incredible. Like when he converted an entire room of atheists to Christianity (him being an athiest).
A lot of his stuff is just done for shock value though, like the whole Russian Roulette publicity stunt. I guess that's why I haven't watched more. Bra Wrote:People are dumb, essentially.

I never played Chrono Trigger on SNES, so I figured I'd pick it up for my DS. I'm at the underwater palace part or whatever, and I'm very fucking annoyed. Did you learn magic from Spekkio? I thought all of the mobs in there were vulnerable to magic.

You don't "have" to have Lucca there.
The only part I recall being annoyed, as far as monsters go, was I believe one of the temples with this long elevator where these annoying monsters kept coming down that out of 4-6, all had differing immunities. So I just made a group with a badass tri-tech and raped them.
