Flight wasn't restricted in the other FoFs, IIRC. Reb hasn't mentioned anything about collars or not being able to, so I'm pretty sure you're safe.

Flight is actually semi-restricted to hover/float, via a gravity field over the island. This is mainly to stop people from flying all over the island in one threat.

In previous FoFs, you had an entire asteroid/planet. This is just a big landmass.

I pictured them both as random, Frieza-soldier like characters, with Balrog being an Alien and Jackson being a humanoid, possibly Saiyan?

They are all based in appearance on SF characters. Balrog is the only one who's personality I took, though. Sebastian is like Vega, Jackson like Sagat and Rosemary like Rose.

All of them have no real path right now. They all have back stories made up and personalities to play with, but as far as what happens to them...whether they live or die...that remains to be seen. Same with Kai.
