The Like/Hate Thread
Until they hit filler, I thought the Bleach anime was way better than the manga.

Other than that, it's basically DBZ with newer animation.

=( Rap makes me sad.

xD

I didn't like that the first time, now I watched it and roffled.

EDIT: Where the fuck do these guys get the cameos? Meadow from The Sopranos, fucking Justin Timberlake, T-Pain was laying it down like it was a real track. These dudes are awesome.

Dude, they're from SNL. They're hooked up; it's not a big deal for them to get big ticket names like that.

I like hitting post #40.

I also like getting back into the groove and feeling good about my writing again.

I think this is to 'get back at me' for not giving a damn about Conan, right? Joke's on you, I don't watch SNL either. :p

Lol, no. I actually remember the consensus around here being that SNL was sub-par, although that had no bearing on me saying it blew.

I need no incentive to say SNL blows.

So last night I was writing my long roleplay and I heard what sounded like a pretty loud explosion, right? I jumped from my chair, kinda freaking out, and ran outside, going "Wtf? I hadn't heard of any thunderstorms happening." Nothing. The wind was calm. No thunder. No lightning. I passed it off as something maybe hitting something. My internet went out suddenly as well, and my lights were flickering. Was like the god damn poltergeist.

So then I'm driving to work today, as soon as I start driving, I see news trucks parked right at my apt and a bunch of cops interviewing different people from outside. I get to work going "WTF HAPPENED AT MY HOME?", not sure if I'd have a home to come back to.

I get home and check the news report and see this:http://www.wrdw.com/home/headlines/41580572.html

Watch both vids that are on that site.

That's fucking awesome, btw.

I was hoping aliens. =(

The Great Pretender is like my fucking theme song. That's a like in the sense that I have a song that is, line for line, congruent with who I am. A hate in the sense that the song describes a pretty miserable person.

No, I'm not gay. The song is not about being gay!

Check out the comments, it blew open some people's doors, made their bed shake, all sorts of shit, some of these areas being around 30 miles away or so. I'm amazed.

I WISH I'D BEEN OUTSIDE WHEN IT HAPPENED, but no, my power freaked out all horror filmish and my net dropped, I ran outside freaking out.

EDIT: I want to know where it landed Sad I want a piece of it Sad

EDIT2: Hahaha, these guys know what's up: http://chronicle.augusta.com/stories/200...5443.shtml

EDIT3: Here's the best news article I've found with video, but some of these retards (seriously people around here are stupid) are going "I think there's something the gov isn't telling us about what happened" and shit. AND I JUST LOOKED ON THAT MAP AND SAW A LOCATION NAMED POVERTY HILL. Explains how my night went PERFECTLY.

Shit, if they are willing to shell out 10 grand to someone giving them the first 2.2 lbs of any remnants, they can call themselves whatever they want.

Course I want some just to own. But... That'd be quite a difficult call to make. I think I'd have to sell it if they want to offer that much, as that could greatly assist in future life expenses XD.

Some of these places that heard and felt this are up to 150 miles away, that's crazy!

EDIT: This is the best explanation for exactly what it sounded like to me (yeah, like I mentioned, it was like a weird wind rushing thing, but the aftereffect this comment mentions sounds familiar too.) "
It was an extremely loud sonic boom, but it included an echo, like it was crossing multiple time windows. It was stronger than anything I've ever heard from a jet or lightning. 30907, approx. 2:30 am, 3-20-09

150 miles? Holy shit. Is that far enough that other cities heard it?

EDIT: I assume your city/town is not 150 miles wide???

Wow, Chicago is 230 square miles. I underestimated.

Even still, that's a big ass area to cover.

I meant within that distance outside of Augusta, people in cities I haven't been to in South Carolina, for example.
