I really liked Scarface

Interesting story about Scarface, I was telling everyone at school that Scarface was my favorite movie ever when I was like 13. I was schooling everyone on all the gangster themes, and how it was the greatest movie ever made.

Now, I had never seen the movie. I just claimed that I did. Then I actually got around to seeing the movie and felt it was ok at best, and ended up feeling extremely stupid.

These days though, I like it. It has the best "fuck you" on film ever. When the fat guy gets shot in the gut, right before the montage. Epic.

Like: The film Amelie. Pretty surreal film, but I found it really enjoyable. Oh and the chick who played Amelie, so hot... so hot.

Hate: What happened to Ricky Hatton. =[ He always seems like such a cool, down to Earth guy when I see him in interviews and what not, I really hated seeing him get demolished the way he did. Atleast he's alright though. Hopefully he retires from boxing now. He has a respectable record, his only losses have been against fighters who were ranked #1 pound for pound at the time he fought them. He really has nothing left to gain from boxing, it's not like he needs the money, hopefully he's smart enough to call it quits.

Not looking forward to that album at all. His buzz has completely died, and I wasn't the biggest fan of him beforehand anyway.

Hate: The 5 minute scene in Eastern Promises which sees Viggo Mortenson's character fight for his life against two russian assassins, completely naked in a bath house. Seeing his junk flip-flopping around, and his pale ass was very off putting. Other than that the movie was pretty good though.

While I agree that that Eminem song sucks, I'm guessing this is what we can expect from a song where he (for the most part) keeps himself below the legal line as far as family issues is concerned.

On the other hand, I actually like Manson's music. His stage shows are amazing live too.

I like that I seem to have stopped caring about achievements and gamerscores. I've finished the main missions and played some side quests/multiplayer on, Prince Of Persia Fallout 3 and Resident Evil 5, and there are still plenty of achievements on each game, but I have no urge at all to try and get 'em. See, a few months ago I'd be all neurotic and tell myself, I've got to get atleast 800/1000 gamerpoints from this game, or something along those lines, but now... not saying I'm no longer neurotic, just don't seem to care as much about gamerscore and all that crap. Which is a relief, I don't wanna be spending hours playing a game I don't want to be playing, just for some meaningless score.

That was the best scene of the movie, imo. Definitely one of the best scenes in any movie I've ever seen too. I loved how it was so minimalistic, just a guy with nothing but his bare hands (literally) fighting for his life. It was the staple of the character, it just showed that all those tats he had were well-earned, and that he was a badass mofo that could hold his own in the worst places on Earth.

I don't like man ass, at least not usually. But I think the scene called for it and it made it much better than it would have been if he were fully clothed (or even with the towel on).

I don't really think the song sucks, it's just... idk. It's like he's not relevant anymore. It's like I said, he's the shock rock guy who's all "in your face" and "controversial". People like that don't sell these days.

I respect Eminem, actually, he's talented.

EDIT: God, I can't believe I'm married now. :3 This is so...so surreal. Never thought this would happen, much less that it would happen with someone I met online. Its sorta like one of those fairy tale thingies. It's not really a story as much as it is like a uh...phenomena. And that he'd turn out to be so awesome, caring and just all around wonderful? It's like God finally gave me something good in life, and I thank Him (Or her, whatever spiritual being it is that is responsible) every damned day for Noah. I know, sappy, whatever. But, that's how I feel. Just so damned lucky sometimes that I wonder if I even really deserve it.
