Man on Fire was awesome. The Bourne Trilogy were some of the BEST MOVIES EVER!!!!11!1
This was just a good night out, at most.

Like: The Simpsons. Hey Bra, is it true that you can't express your faith in Canada? I'm watching the episode when Homer and Grandpa smuggle drugs in from Canada into the USA and they get caught when Apu looks like he's doing some sort of chant.

X-Men Origins was awesome. What the fuck is wrong with you people?
In my defense, I don't know shit about the Weapon X program, or Wolverine's past after the mansion murder thing, so this was pretty much an original story for me. And this wasn't Deadpool's movie, get over it fhegs.

The script was fucking awful. The plot was fucking trite. The twist at the end was wholly retarded. The entire thing was tremendously cliche: it was the most generic version of a "revenge" flick with X-Men actors tacked on.
Half of the movie Wolvie was screaming and flailing his arms around, bulging biceps flexing. A quarter was spent setting him up for some pose in which he could do said screams and flails, either by grinding his claws in the ground or through other things. The remaining quarter was occupied with him crying over some bitch we didn't have enough time to really make a connection to before they killed her.
There were also plenty of "jesus christ what the fuck" moments. The one that takes the cake? They have a gun with adamantium bullets, but they don't give it to the mutant who can bulls-eye people from miles away.
I don't know jack shit about X-Men beyond a few episodes of the FOX cartoon series and the movies, and I thought Origins was a steaming pile of dog shit.

I never saw the DBZ movie ever, nor do I recall ever discussing any attendance of it before, but nice attempt to undercut my credibility there.

On the subject of the old FOX cartoons, how come that era had such great theme tunes? All these years later, Spider-Man's and X-Men's are still firmly stuck in my head.
Also like: the Sam and Max games. It's gotten me on the point n' click hard, I'm trying to track down an old copy of Grim Fandango now.

The Homestar Runner point and clicks are pretty great too.

@Belle... idk why you two fags posted, nobody told you you could post >=(
shut up stupidface =(
In any event, a few movies have lowered my standards recently. I didn't even notice any ridiculously retarded one-liners, or stupid attempts at verbal badassitude. The only thing I remember cringing at was Hugh Jackman going "Im the best at what I do...".
I agree you didnt know the girl long enough, but I still felt for Wolverine when that shit was going down.
Stryker was a selfish prick out for his own ass, why would he trust the sniper guy with the only thing that could, would, and ended up saving him? He knew Wolverine was going to find him sooner or later.
I love that guy that played the Blob. And Will.i.am did an alright job, albeit it was obvious the entire movie that he isn't an actor. The weakest acting came from Gambit, and he got the shaft plot-wise so who cares.
This wasn't an X-Men movie, this was about Wolverine. Wolverine was done well (I guess... nobody can really play Wolverine), and I felt for him the entire time. They at least made it possible to do that, if you weren't all preoccupied with how "deadpewl wuz retarded" and all that other stupid shit. It was really him against the world, I FELT HIS PAYNE. ;_;
This wasn't a revenge flick to me. Or at least it had more depth than a traditional revenge flick.
CGI Patrick Stewart was so fucking retarded.
The only real complaint I had about the story was that there were too many other characters thrown in. The whole Scott Summers thing could easily have been left out, for example.

That was the problem with the whole movie. They couldn't decide whether they wanted to stick with the comics or the screwed up shit that the previous movies had established. They half-assed both sides of it and instead of putting it together to get a whole ass, they ended up with a quarter ass.
See how that works?
