I hate I have to decide whether to buy a ps3 or xbox 360. I see gamestop has a 20 gig ps3 for 279 which looks really good, but they got no games that interest me...while the 360 just makes me wanna go 'yay' but eh. Don't feel like paying for online playing...

Woodcrasher is absolutely ridic. I didn't pull one for the sealed deck I was in (but, of course, was in the first pack I got for prize) but I did grab a Scute and a Conquerer's Pledge. Made for a decent pseudo-rush.

I really wanted to use the Pyromancer's Ascension I got, but didn't have enough duplicate spells to justify it.

Scute Mob is adorable (yeah, play on words). That and Pledge are both pretty amazing (the former more than the latter) but the Ascension is shit, so I'm glad you didn't use it. I actually attempted to use Electropotence (despite everything telling me it was terrible). It was as horrible as I imagined, in every situation, and quickly got removed.

Too many people had Hellkite Charger and Eldrazi Monuments for the instant kills though.

Scute Mob is adorable (yeah, play on words). That and Pledge are both pretty amazing (the former more than the latter) but the Ascension is shit, so I'm glad you didn't use it. I actually attempted to use Electropotence (despite everything telling me it was terrible). It was as horrible as I imagined, in every situation, and quickly got removed.

Well that's sad.

Last night, after the event, I ended up making a white/green (which is what I played for the tourny, actually) and a blue/black from what they gave me. Neither are combinations I've played in the past, but the decks look like they'll be decent.

During the tournament I actually managed to pop Pledge with the kicker. It ended up being complete overkill, but it was awesome nonetheless.

I miss playing the DBZ card game. Those were some fun tournaments, except for that annoying little shit in Keizer.

I think the best time we had was when we went to the GT pre-release. You pulled a fucking UR, and Goku, and I got Trunks.

At this thing last night, Ted pulled a UR (Lotus Cobra) from a pack he got for free in a raffle and ended up selling it back to the shop for 6 more boosters.

First booster had another Lotus Cobra. Disgusting.

I was excited that the GT game was much more balanced than Z, but as soon as they made Lost Episodes (Which, I have to be honest, I spent a CRAP load of money on that game, I really loved it and opening packs was always a great experience. The game was really good and I was pissed that I never got my Pans for a Red Pan Training deck to replace my Red Cell Blazing beatball deck) they scrapped the entire game for Re-Z instead. Where they started over, and scrapped the entire defense system in favor of letting you throw any attack card to the discard pile to defend with and also removed the Hero/Villain differences completely so you could use the absolute best allies regardless of personality. I kinda liked watching my friend switch up between an Orange Bebi Allies deck and an Orange Drill deck depending on which hate people were bringing more of because otherwise they had no chance (discounting some broken Z based decks that could kill you on turn 1 with Fusions or some shit, my beatball deck was the only deck that could beat him, as it was very balanced and had both ally and drill killers as well as most attacks being directly to life deck and very little PAT, which in both ways helped me bypass his allies he'd defend with and also ignore a lot of the effects of his drills. And I would be hitting with a LOT of attacks per turn as most of my red cards chained into other cards and either searched out more, grabbed something from the discard pile, or grabbed the bottom card from my deck, while others did things like put a card on the bottom of the deck from my discard. Very good for chaining and a lot more than his stuff could stop in one fight. End of excessively long parenthetical.)

Man, I wish you and Waff played on Magic Online. I'd love to start some multiplayer games with you guys. Been playing a lot of Commander lately online in the multiplayer room, which (if you search it up) is basically an online version of Elder Dragon Highlander, a very awesome format (any type of Highlander/Singleton deck can only use one copy of any card that isn't a basic land, so it reduces a lot of the cost while also helping you out with using cards you have popped one of without being able to afford three more of, like Baneslayer Angel).

Yeah, out of the packs I won this Saturday I popped a Lotus Cobra (mythic rare), a second Warren Instigator (also mythic), two fetchlands (the u/g one, Misty Rainforest I think its called, and the u/r one with is something like Scalding Tarn). Can't really remember the rest, mostly junk otherwise. Friend of mine that played in that flight just gave me his stuff which had some limited bombs but otherwise mainly just a b/g fetchland, which is one of my fav color combinations in a certain format I play.

I'll be honest, that Cobra is not bad at all, but he's way overhyped and I'll be happy to sell it to anyone for the 30 bucks its currently going for, especially if someone is willing to instead trade me Baneslayers for it. By way overhyped, I mean I seriously expect him to settle around 15 tops. Instigator is also overhyped a bit but not as heavily as that Cobra. (Again, this isn't saying Cobra is bad at all).

One of my favorite DBZ decks to play with was my Goku Freestyle deck. Sooooo many drills. Android 20's Absorbing Drill made that deck amazing.

I also had a pretty sweet Red Rush Mastery Nova Shenron deck, but I'm pretty sure lots of people did, so there's not much to say there.

Mario had two decks that pissed me off so much: The Black Style King Kai deck, and his Goku deck with the Cell Saga Mastery. I don't know why, but I just never could beat down his King Kai deck. And with the Goku, he'd end up with like 8 cards every turn to my 3.

20's Absorbing Drill was pretty amazing. I'm pretty sure I actually included it in my Blazing beatball deck.

Oh, and I really enjoyed when that GT set released the colored functional reprints of Trunks Energy Sphere.

Additionally, the "Stop All _____" cards were amazing. I also felt like god when I played that one, I thin it was Red Juke or something (My deck is actually still together despite not having a single person to play with anymore, that's how much I love it) that had a Stop Energy ability and something like Remain 3 or Remain equal to number of dragonballs you had.

Basically put, the way my Blazing Master went, I was grabbing any of your balls that dropped (I hear the chuckling someone's doing at that comment, ooooh context how do I love thee) and then each attack got +X equal to the number of balls I controlled. Was nuts. Nuts and balls.

I noticed there was a little chilli pepper on my plate when I was eating dinner, I guess my dad was cooking with them or something idk, I usually avoid anything hot. Anyway I started thinking about the chilli tasks in Big Brother, and how much the housemates seemingly overreact, so I thought what the hell, and decided to try it.

Bad decision.

As I started chewing, it went from, huh this is kinda hot, to, HOLY FUCK MY MOUTH IS LITERALLY BURNING PLEASE MAKE IT STOP. Cue me running to the bathroom, tears streaming down my face, my nose running, I was even struggling to breath for a few seconds when the burning was really intense. I brushed my tongue and rinsed my mouth out several times, took about 5 minutes for the burning sensation to stop. Really wasn't expecting that. Never again...
